My Dad Is Single!
Word Count: 643 Summary: "You should date him. He's very handsome. Like a prince! And he makes really good pancakes!" Pairing: Single dad s.coups X Fem Nurse reader
Navigation
S.Coups had been through a lot in his life. He'd survived years in the music industry, guided twelve chaotic members through countless debuts and comebacks, and endured the existential crisis that came with turning thirty. But nothing—absolutely nothing—compared to being the father of a six-year-old girl who had just woken up from surgery and was completely loopy on pain meds.
"Hey, ma'am," his daughter, Haneul, whispered dramatically to the nurse standing by her bedside. She squinted at the woman as if she were plotting something grand. "You're really pretty."
The nurse, a kind-looking woman with a warm smile, chuckled as she checked Haneul’s IV. "Well, thank you, sweetheart. That's very sweet of you."
S.Coups, who had been sitting at the edge of the hospital bed, rubbing his temples, immediately sensed danger. His dad instincts were never wrong.
"Haneul, sweetheart—"
"My dad is single!" she blurted out before he could stop her. "You should date him. He's very handsome. Like a prince! And he makes really good pancakes!"
S.Coups groaned, slumping forward dramatically while the nurse let out a surprised laugh. His face felt like it was on fire. "Haneul… we talked about this. You can’t just—"
"He’s lonely," his daughter continued with a very serious nod. "He watches sad movies at night and sighs a lot."
The betrayal. The absolute betrayal.
The nurse raised an amused eyebrow, looking between the little girl and the mortified man beside her. "Is that so?"
"No, it is not so!" S.Coups finally found his voice. "I don’t sigh that much."
"You do," Haneul insisted. "You sigh when you fold my laundry. You sigh when you help me with math. You sigh when grandpa asks why you're still single."
S.Coups groaned again and dropped his head into his hands while the nurse struggled to hold in her laughter. He had never wished for a hole to open up and swallow him whole more than he did in this moment.
The nurse patted Haneul’s hand gently. "Well, your dad sounds like a great man. But I’m sure he’s perfectly happy just taking care of his wonderful little girl."
Haneul gasped dramatically, gripping the nurse's wrist like she had just heard the most tragic news in the world. "But he needs love!"
"Oh my God," S.Coups muttered, looking up at the ceiling like it might offer him divine intervention.
The nurse gave him a playful look. "Well, I suppose if he ever needs dating advice, he knows who to ask."
S.Coups sighed for what felt like the millionth time that day, shooting his daughter a deadpan look. "See? Now you've scared her away."
Haneul only giggled sleepily, her eyelids starting to droop again. "I just want you to be happy, Appa."
And just like that, his frustration melted away. He reached out to gently tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. "I am happy, Haneul-ah. Because I have you."
She gave him a drowsy smile before her eyes finally fluttered shut. He exhaled in relief, running a hand through his hair before glancing at the nurse, who was still grinning at him.
"Sorry about that," he mumbled. "She's, uh… a little too invested in my love life."
The nurse laughed, shaking her head. "She’s adorable. And she clearly loves you a lot." She paused, then added teasingly, "And for the record, I do like pancakes."
S.Coups blinked, completely caught off guard. "I—what?"
She just winked at him before making a note in Haneul’s chart. "I'll be back to check on her in a little while. Try not to sigh too much in the meantime."
S.Coups sat there, stunned, as she walked out of the room. Then he looked down at his sleeping daughter, shaking his head with a small smile.
"Unbelievable," he muttered, chuckling softly. "She's really my kid, huh?"

Previous Chapter
The next day, she messaged Sam, asking if he could stop by her house before the briefing. His reply came quickly, surprised but agreeable, suggesting a time two hours before the meeting. When the knock finally came, she took a deep breath, bracing herself for whatever reaction he might have.
She opened the door to his familiar, easy smile, but the knot in her stomach didn’t ease. “Hey,” he greeted casually, stepping inside when she gestured for him to come in. “This feels serious. What’s up?”
She led him to the couch, motioning for him to sit. Her palms were clammy, and her fingers twitched slightly as she sat across from him. “It is,” she admitted, “And... I need you to hear me out before you say anything.”
That wiped the smile from his face. Sam leaned forward and clasped his hands loosely between his knees. “Okay. I’m listening.”
She inhaled deeply, and then, she started. From her life before Hydra -her simple, ordinary life in the 60s- to the day everything changed. The kidnapping. The endless, suffocating years as a prisoner, a tool. Her voice faltered as she described the barest surface of what she’d endured and what she’d been forced to do regarding the Winter Soldier. She tried to keep the focus on herself, omitting the details that might betray Bucky’s privacy, but it was impossible to completely separate their pasts.
Sam listened without interrupting, his expression shifted with every new revelation: concern, disbelief, pity, before being replaced with something softer. Compassion.
When she finished, she let out a shuddering breath, slumping her shoulders. “I’m sorry I never told you anything about... this. For giving you my manufactured past. For lying to you about who I am.”
He shook his head immediately. “Don’t apologize for that. It’s your story, and it’s yours to share whenever you’re ready. Or not at all. I get why you didn’t say anything. Hell, I can even understand why the government kept it locked up.” His gaze softened, leaning back slightly. “But it doesn’t change a damn thing. I never doubted our friendship. Not for a second.”
Relief bloomed in her chest at his words. She managed a small smile, twisting her fingers nervously in her lap. “Thank you, Sammy”.
Sam nodded, and then his expression grew thoughtful. “So... that’s why Bucky knew you couldn’t heal yourself?”
“Yeah.” She gave a short, almost bitter laugh. “The information was never given by Hydra to him, but there were... moments. Times when he saw me.” Her eyes drifted downward. “And I guess he connected the dots. If I could heal myself, why would I walk around for days with a bruised lip, or limping?”
Sam exhaled slowly, his brow furrowing. “Damn.”
She nodded, tightening her hands together. “Yeah.”
“And... I didn’t tell you this either,” she hesitated, twisting her fingers in her lap. “Bucky and I... we’ve been seeing each other. After Poland.”
Sam’s brow quirked, a small, curious smile tugging at his lips. “Oh?”
She exhaled, searching for the right words. “Just... reconnecting. Or connecting. I don’t know exactly what to call it yet. Our relationship -if you can even call it that- back then didn’t precisely involve normal conversation over coffee.”
He leaned back slightly, crossing his arms. “So, the Winter Sulkier talks to you over coffee?”
That drew a chuckle from her lips, lightening the tension in the air. “Yeah. I mean, he’s more of a listener most of the time, but yeah, he talks.”
Sam’s smile softened as he observed her, but she dropped her gaze to her hands again, and her expression turned more serious. “Thing is... he was here yesterday when you called me about the mission. And when I mentioned Argentina and a large crew heading there...” She paused, tightening her fingers together. “He got all worked up. I think he intuits there’s something to do with them.”
Sam’s expression darkened, and his easy demeanor faded. He shook his head slowly, dropping his gaze to the floor. “He isn’t wrong.”
Her chest tightened at the confirmation, but she continued. “He left immediately after that. Told me to talk to you about... us.” She hesitated, then added, “And, that he’s coming.”
Sam let out a heavy sigh, rubbing a hand down his face. “Of course he did.”
“I tried to tell him it wasn’t his decision to make,” she said quickly, “But…”
“-there’s no stopping him,” Sam finished with a faint shake of his head, a flicker of exasperation in his tone. “Yeah, I know.”
----
Sam drove them to the briefing at the DHS Strategic Operations Center, a heavily-secured government facility that handled covert international assignments. The building loomed large, with its sleek gray façade and high-security checkpoints manned by armed guards.
To her surprise -or not-, when they entered the briefing room, Bucky was already there, leaning against the far wall with his arms crossed. He looked calm, but the tension in his posture told her otherwise.
Sam quirked a brow at him, gesturing vaguely toward the entrance. “How the hell did you get in here?”
Bucky just stared at him in response, with an unreadable expression.
“Seriously, man,” Sam pressed, muttering something under his breath, shaking his head as he took a seat. She, on the other hand, couldn’t help but smile faintly at him, though the knot of worry in her stomach hadn’t eased.
The room began to fill with agents and operatives, and a few heads turned toward Bucky, with flashing recognition across their faces. It was clear that having both the Winter Soldier and the Falcon in the operation was a major bonus for the mission and a point of fascination for everyone in the room.
She slid into a chair beside Sam, sneaking a glance at Bucky, who had claimed a spot near the corner of the table. He caught her eye briefly, and for a moment, something unspoken passed between them.
“Looks like the government’s thrilled to have their star players,” she murmured under her breath to Sam.
----
The room fell silent as the operation leader stood at the head of the table, pointing to a digital map of Ushuaia Province projected on the wall. “As suspected, there’s an active Hydra facility in the region. Thanks to intel provided by Argentina’s military forces, we’ve identified its exact location. It’s heavily fortified, with multiple levels of security and a significant number of personnel. Resistance is expected to be strong, and casualties are a possibility.”
The words hung heavy and foreboding between the crew.
“As we continue,” the leader said, turning toward her, “your role is crucial. Due to the expected resistance, we need you on the field, embedded with a group of agents. Your abilities may be needed in the heat of the fight. Even some casualties won’t be avoidable, your presence could make the difference between life and death for many of our operatives.”
Bucky’s body tensed immediately, snapping his sharp gaze to the leader. He didn’t wait to be addressed, didn’t wait for permission to speak. “No,” he said firmly, his voice cut through the room like a blade. “I don’t agree.”
The leader’s eyes narrowed slightly. “Excuse me?”
Bucky straightened from his spot, squaring his broad shoulders. “Sending her into a live combat zone? With Hydra? It’s a mistake. She doesn’t belong on the front lines, she belongs somewhere safe. She can work from a plane or a secure location if you need her. Putting her directly in danger is reckless.”
She could feel the weight of his words pressing against her like a physical force, but her focus was on the leader, not him.
“Barnes,” the leader started, “with all due respect, this isn’t your call-”
“No, but it’s common sense, Bucky cut in, hardening his voice. “If things go south, she’s the one theyll target first. Do you really think they wouldn’t recognize her? That they wouldn’t know what she can do and what she’s worth to them?”
Her heart clenched at the words, but she didn’t flinch. Instead, she stood, scraping her chair softly against the floor as she rose to her feet.
“Enough,” she said sharply, interrupting him.
Bucky’s jaw tightened, and his gaze snapped to her, but she didn’t look at him. Her eyes were locked on the operation leader, unwavering and resolute.
“I’m in,” she said firmly.
“You don’t-” Bucky’s voice carried a mix of frustration and concern, but she turned to him before he could say more.
“I said I’m in, Bucky,” she repeated, in a softer tone this time but no less determined. “This is my choice.”
The room was silent again, the tension thick in the air as the leader gave her a small nod. “Good. Then we’ll move forward as planned.”
Bucky’s hands flexed into fists at his sides, but he said nothing more. She could feel his eyes on her, the weight of his disapproval and concern, but she didn’t falter.
This was her fight too. And she wouldn’t let anyone -not even him- take that from her.
The operation leader continued detailing the roles while pointing to the screen. “Barnes, your job is to breach and clear one of the facility’s entrances. You’ll be working with a tactical unit to infiltrate and eliminate the immediate threats on the perimeter.”
Bucky crossed his arms, flexing a muscle in his jaw. “I’ll go with her team.”
The room collectively turned to look at him, as the team leader narrowed his eyes in displeasure. “That’s not your assignment.”
“Well, I’m making it mine,” Bucky said, sharp and unwavering.
Sam let out a low scoff, raising a brow at his partner. “You’re just great at following orders.”
Bucky shot him a sidelong glare but ignored the jab, turning back his attention to the leader. “Let’s be honest,” he said, his tone bordering on cocky. “I’m the best asset you’ve got going in there. If she’s on the field, it makes sense for me to stay close. She makes sure I keep going, and I’m the one who can get her out in one piece.”
The leader leaned forward slightly, clearly distressed by the audacity. His hands fell flat on the table. “You’re overestimating your authority here, Barnes. This isn’t a solo mission.”
“I’m not saying it is,” Bucky replied “But if something goes wrong, I’d rather she have me at her back than anyone else.”
Another agent, seated further down the table, cleared their throat. “With all due respect, Sergeant Barnes, you’re probably not the one who’d need her help. You’re a super soldier. You’ve got advanced healing, stamina, and the works. If she’s in the field, she’ll be more useful to the non-enhanced units who’ll be taking the brunt of the fight.”
Bucky opened his mouth to argue but stopped short. He knew she was right, as much as he hated to admit it. He didn’t need her assistance. He wanted her nearby for reasons that had nothing to do with logic and everything to do with the protectiveness that burned in his chest.
His jaw tightened again, but he gave a small, almost imperceptible nod, forcing himself to back down. “Fine,” he muttered, though the word sounded like it was dragged out of him.
The operation leader’s gaze lingered on Bucky for a moment longer before he turned back to the room. “Then it’s settled. Everyone knows their roles. We leave in three days. Dismissed.”
As chairs scraped and the room began to clear, Sam caught up to Bucky near the door. “So, what’s the plan now, guard dog? Gonna give her a tracking device or a leash?”
Bucky shot him a look that could kill. “Not now.”
Sam grinned, unbothered. “Just saying, man. You’re not as subtle as you think.”
Bucky ignored him, drifting his gaze to where she stood by the table, gathering her things. She glanced up, catching his eye, and offered a small, reassuring smile.
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. He might not be able to stay by her side during the mission, but one way or another, he’d make sure she came out of it safe. Even if it killed him.
----
They didn’t see each other again until they boarded the plane. She spotted him immediately, seated at the far side of the hold, inspecting one of his many weapons with mechanical precision.
Bucky was fully geared up, every inch of him screaming Winter Soldier in a way that made her chest tighten uncomfortably. His tactical suit, dark and imposing, seemed like it was made to swallow him whole, to erase every ounce of humanity she knew was there. Knives, pistols, ammo, -there were more weapons strapped to him than she thought possible-, and Sam, seated nearby, muttered under his breath as he caught sight of him.
“Jesus, Buck,” he quipped, leaning back in his seat with an incredulous look. “Where do you keep all that? Got a secret pocket dimension you haven’t told us about?”
Bucky didn’t answer. He didn’t even glance up, focused on the rifle in his hands as he loaded it with a meticulousness that bordered on obsession.
She hesitated before sitting down, diagonal to his, close enough to see the taut lines of his jaw and the cold set of his features. He was somewhere else entirely, locked inside his head in a way that made her stomach twist.
Her fingers tapped lightly on her knee as she debated. Eventually, she mustered the courage to try and break through the wall he had so obviously put up. “Bucky,” she started softly, testing the waters.
He didn’t look at her. “What?”
Her lips pressed into a thin line. “You okay?”
“Fine,” he said curtly and dismissive.
She tried again, leaning forward slightly, lacing her tone with a touch of warmth this time. “You’ve been quiet since the briefing. I just... wanted to check in.”
“Don’t worry about me,” he said flatly. He finally looked up, but it was brief, just a glance before he turned back to the rifle.
She bit the inside of her cheek, and the pang of melancholy deepened. He was shutting her out, retreating into himself in a way that felt impenetrable. She wanted to say something more, to push through the wall he’d built around himself, but every clipped answer was like a door slammed in her face.
Eventually, she leaned back in her seat, slumping her shoulders slightly. Sam, catching the shift in her demeanor, leaned over and nudged her gently. “You good?”
She gave him a tight smile, though it didn’t quite reach her eyes. “Yeah. Just... tired.”
Sam didn’t press further, but his gaze flicked between her and Bucky, knitting his brows together in thought.
The hours of the flight passed in uncomfortable silence. She stopped trying to talk to Bucky, resigning herself to the fact that he wasn’t in a place to let her in. Instead, she found herself leaning on Sam, who kept the mood light with his casual banter and stories, though she knew he could see the strain on her face.
----
After 22 long hours of flight, the group finally arrived at Ushuaia, skipping any rest stops and heading straight to the location marked on the map as the Hydra facility. The biting -7°C temperature hit them the moment they stepped off the plane, but no one said a word. Adrenaline and focus were locked firmly on the upcoming assault.
As the team deployed, spreading out to take their positions, she adjusted the straps of her gear, ready to follow her assigned group, when she felt a hand wrap around her forearm, halting her steps.
It was Bucky.
Before she could say a word, he gently tugged her closer, his steel-blue eyes piercing through the dim light of the icy morning. Without hesitation, he dipped his head, resting his forehead lightly against hers. The gesture was intimate in a way that caught her completely off guard.
“Stay safe, doll,” he murmured, barely audible over the wind. His other hand slid to her lower back, a solid and steadying touch that sent warmth spreading through her chest despite the freezing air. Her breath hitched, and for a moment, it felt like time had paused around them.
Before she could respond, he pulled back, slipping his hand from her back as he released her. The touch lingered like an imprint on her skin, a phantom sensation she couldn’t shake.
He gave her a small, firm nod, and then turned, walking away to take his position. She stood frozen for a moment, her heart racing and her thoughts spinning in a blur. She didn’t notice the tiny tracker he’d deftly pressed onto the back of her jacket, concealed in one of the seams.
She exhaled deeply, shaking her head as she regrouped with her team. It was only after they began their cautious advance toward the Hydra’s den that she realized she hadn’t said anything back.
----
Bucky's moves were methodical and relentless, bordering on terrifying. His rifle barked sharp bursts of gunfire as his entry key. The initial resistance barely had time to register what hit them before he had breached their defenses with precise and purposeful shots, clearing the way with deadly efficiency. Once inside, the rifle was slung across his back, and he transitioned to pistols, twin bursts of fire that cut through the dimly lit hallways.
When a close-range ambush came at them, he didn’t falter. A knife was in his hand before the first attacker could barely move, and the blade moved in a blur as he parried, slashed, and dropped him in seconds. His other hand went for another approaching assailant, and the dull thud of his fist meeting flesh sickly reverberated down the hallway. The third guy went down with a savage elbow strike to the jaw, that sent the man crumpling against the wall.
The facility was a maze, and he navigated it with an almost preternatural awareness, dispatching any Hydra remnants that dared to cross his path.
Behind him, his team could barely keep up. “Does he even need us?” one of them muttered under their breath, clutching their assault gun tightly as they followed, watching Bucky tear through Hydra’s defenses like a one-man wrecking crew. They focused on providing cover and securing the areas he left in his wake, though it felt almost redundant.
He wasn’t reckless, he was purposeful. Every move was efficient, calculated like a finely tuned machine operating at full capacity. And beneath that precision, was a driving force, a singular thought that fueled him: finish this, finish it fast, get to her.
He turned a corner into a wider room where a group of agents had set up a defensive line. Their gunfire erupted the moment they saw him, but he was already moving. His body twisted as he sprinted toward them, weaving through the barrage with inhuman speed. A flash grenade from his belt bought him the split second he needed to close the distance. When the deafening pop and blinding light cleared, he was in the middle of their formation.
One went down with a knife to the gut, another with a pistol shot to the temple. The third tried to grapple him, only to be met with a swift blow from his vibranium arm that sent him sprawling. Bucky didn’t stop. His fists drove into ribs and jaws, his knives carving through the last line of resistance like it was nothing. Blood splattered onto the cold floors, and the once-deafening room fell silent except for his steady breathing.
The radio on his team leader crackled. “Barnes, status?”
“Clear,” he grunted, wiping the blade of his knife on his sleeve and sheathing it in one fluid motion. His team moved in behind him, sweeping the room as they murmured amongst themselves about the inhuman force of his assault.
He barely heard them. His mind was already elsewhere. His heart was pounding, not from exertion, but from the worry that ate away at him. The sooner his end of the mission was done, the sooner he could ensure she was safe.
----
As Bucky cleared the last room in his assigned sector, he took a final sweep, ensuring no hidden threats remained. The bodies left in his wake weren’t his concern, only the safety of his team, and more importantly, her. So he turned around and started walking away.
He moved like a shadow through the corridors, silent and methodical, operating on pure instinct. The tracker he’d slipped into her clothes pulsed steadily on his HUD, leading him through the labyrinth of sterile hallways and flickering overhead lights. Hydra never changed, their bases were practically carbon copies, and he used that to his advantage, cutting through shortcuts only an old ghost like him would know.
Gunfire crackled in the distance, shouts echoing through the steel walls, but none of it mattered to him.
He picked up the pace as he neared her location, tightening his grip around the pistol in his flesh hand, his vibranium fingers twitching in anticipation. Then, finally, he reached her sector.
The sight before him sent a cold fury ripping through his chest.
The fight was still ongoing and it was clear her team was barely holding on. Some were down, some wounded, and the rest were outnumbered. But Bucky’s eyes only locked onto one thing: the asset trying to restrain her.
She was struggling. He could see the way her limbs lagged just a second too slow, the way her stance wavered ever so slightly, she was exhausted. She’d burned herself out healing the others, and now they were trying to take her.
The bastard restraining her was big, armored, and clearly enhanced. Bucky already knew the type, one of Hydra’s modern knockoff attempts at recreating him. The man had his arm locked around her middle, wrestling to subdue her, while his other hand reached for a syringe strapped to his vest.
Bucky didn’t think. He didn’t hesitate.
His pistol fired once. Clean, direct. The bullet punched through the asset’s wrist, making him snarl and drop the syringe before he could use it.
Before the man could react, Bucky was already on him.
The Winter Soldier resurfaced with brutal efficiency. He grabbed the man by the vest and threw him off her like a ragdoll, sending him crashing into a nearby crate. The asset barely had time to groan before Bucky was on him again, landing a punishing strike to the ribs, then another to the jaw.
The bastard recovered quickly, swinging at Bucky’s head, but he dodged with ease, catching the incoming arm and twisting sharply. The asset howled, but Bucky silenced him with a savage punch that sent him sprawling.
Not enough. Not nearly enough.
He didn’t stop until the man stopped moving.
When he finally turned, he found her staring at him, breathing hard. Her hair was disheveled, her face marked with sweat and dirt, but she was alive.
Still his.
High on adrenaline, Bucky turned toward the dantesque scene unfolding around him. Her team was struggling, pinned down by the remaining opposition, outnumbered and exhausted.
So he moved.
The first man barely had time to register his presence before Bucky’s knife found his ribs, twisting with brutal precision. The second one lunged at him, and Bucky let him, sidestepping at the last second and slamming his elbow into the man's throat, crushing his windpipe. They kept coming but the room was cleared in minutes. Efficient. Lethal. Over.
His feet carried him forward before his brain even fully registered it, his hands reaching for her the second he was close enough. He pulled her against him, wrapping his arms around her tightly, his chest rising and falling against hers as he tried to steady himself.
His face found the crook of her neck, and he inhaled deeply, calming himself with her scent. She was real, she was safe.
She was trembling, whether from exhaustion or leftover adrenaline, he didn’t know. Didn’t care. He just held her tighter, curling his fingers into the fabric of her tactical gear, pressing her against him like he could shield her from everything.
He didn’t speak. He just held on, waiting for his heart to stop hammering, for the instinct to fight, to kill, to protect, to settle into something quieter.
He didn’t let go. Not yet. Not for a long while.
----
She let him hold on, basking in his unrelenting grip. But as the minutes stretched, something felt wrong in her chest, a creeping worry she couldn’t shake.
“Bucky,” she breathed against his ear, trying to pull back just enough to see his face.
He didn’t answer.
Her hands skimmed over his back, searching for wounds, for anything out of place. “Bucky, are you hurt? Let me see you.”
Nothing. No response. If anything, his arms locked tighter around her.
She leaned back slightly, shifting her hands to his face, ready to insist -look at me, talk to me- but then she saw it.
The empty stare. The idle, blank eyes she knew too well.
Her stomach dropped.
Her fingers threaded into his hair, gentle but firm. She inhaled deeply before trying. “Soldat?”
A barely-there shudder ran through his body. His grip twitched, tightening before loosening just the slightest bit.
She swallowed hard. She knew exactly where he was, adrift in the space between past and present, somewhere dark, somewhere cold. She cupped his face, sweeping her thumbs over the sharp lines of his cheekbones. “Listen, everything is fine now. We are safe, you did good. You can rest.”
Her breath hitched as his grip slipped down and tightened around her thighs, and the world tilted violently as he hoisted her over his shoulder like she weighed nothing.
“Soldat-” she started, but he moved with single-minded purpose, boots echoing heavily against the bloodstained floor as he strode down the corridor.
The others tried to move after them, with evident concern. “Stand down,” she called over her shoulder, her voice firmer than she felt. “Don’t- don’t interfere.” Because if they do…
They hesitated, but obeyed, exchanging wary glances as the two disappeared around a corner.
“Soldat,” she tried again. “Put me down. I’m fine. Where are we going?”
No answer. Not even a flicker of recognition. His grip remained firm, arms locked around her legs, his vibranium hand pressing against the small of her back to keep her steady.
The hallways blurred past in a dizzying, all-too-familiar pattern. He knew where he was going. Of course he did. Hydra never changed their layouts, never altered their twisted efficiency.
And then he stopped. A metal door loomed ahead, slightly ajar, the faded remnants of a red cross still painted on its surface.
The infirmary.
Before she could speak, he shoved the door open with his shoulder and stepped inside. She staggered slightly as he set her down “What are you-“
But he wasn’t listening. Not really. He pressed his back against the door, sliding down until he sat on the cold floor with one bent knee and the other stretched out. His head tilted back against the cold metal with a dull thud, and his eyes flicked shut for just a second before snapping open again. His chest rose and fell in deep, measured breaths. His gaze landed unfocused somewhere in the distance.
She took a cautious step forward, lowering her voice. “Soldat?”
His fingers twitched.
The only thing she could think to do was play along. Her pulse hammered in her throat, but she kept her expression carefully neutral. First, she pressed a hand to her comm, switching to Sam’s channel. Keeping a steady voice, she whispered, “Sammy, I’m fine. My side of the facility is clear, but there’s… a complication with Bucky. My teammates will fill you in. Just don’t come looking for us. Please. I need you to make them understand.”
There was a long pause, before Sam’s voice finally came through the crackle of static, lower, graver than usual. “…You sure about this?”
Her gaze flicked back to Soldat, watching the way his fists clenched and unclenched at his sides, coiled like a spring. She swallowed hard. “Yes. Let me handle it.”
Another pause. Then, a resigned sigh. “Alright. But if you need backup-”
“I’ll let you know.” She shut off the comm before he could argue, pushing the outside world aside.
----
She clasped her hands in front of her, standing straighter, adopting the crisp authority she’d seen Hydra’s handlers use a thousand times before.
“I need a mission report.”
His fingers twitched again. His gaze flickered -just slightly- but it stayed distant, unfocused, locked somewhere behind her rather than on her.
A long beat of silence.
Her stomach clenched.
She took another step closer. “Soldat,” she repeated, keeping her tone firm but even. “Mission report. Now.”
His jaw worked, and a slow inhale expanded his chest.
“…Facility neutralized.” The words came rough and automatic, like a reflex. His voice was lower than usual, mechanical, like the syllables were pulled from his throat against his will. “Threats eliminated.”
She swallowed. “And my status?”
His breath stuttered slightly. His fingers flexed, curling into loose fists before releasing.
“Secure,” he said after a pause.
She exhaled quietly, steadying herself.
Her mind raced for the next step. She couldn’t just order him out of this. She needed to guide him back. She took a slow breath, crouching down to his level, careful not to make any sudden movements. “Good,” she murmured. “So… mission’s over now, right?”
Another twitch. His throat bobbed as he swallowed.
She hesitated, then reached forward, brushing featherily his vibranium knuckles. No sudden moves. No pressure. “Remember what happens when a mission is over? You let me check on you and I get you all better.”
He hesitated. His brows knitted together as though sifting through fragmented, conflicting commands buried deep in his mind. But then, after a long, tense beat, he gave a single, curt nod.
A breath she hadn’t realized she was holding slipped from her lips.
“You did good,” she said again, keeping a reassuring voice. “Go sit on the stretcher and let me see you.”
He stood immediately at her command, a well-oiled machine running on deeply ingrained instinct. With precise, practiced movements, he removed his rifle, his sidearm, and every knife tucked into his gear. Each weapon clattered softly onto the nearby tray, in a quiet, chilling symphony of steel.
Then, without hesitation, he stripped away his tactical vest, shrugging out of it like armor no longer needed. His Henley followed, baring his torso under the harsh, sterile light of the infirmary. His skin was streaked with sweat and blood. The deep, ugly wounds carved into him were the only indication that he wasn’t invincible.
He sat on the stretcher with squared shoulders and rested his hands on his thighs as he stared ahead. Silent. Waiting.
Her breath hitched when she saw the extent of the damage. Two large-caliber bullet wounds, one grazing his ribs, the other embedded deeper near his shoulder. A deep stab wound on his side, red and angry. The blood had slowed to a sluggish trickle, but the damage was undeniable.
She inhaled heavily, steeling herself, knowing she was running on fumes. She had drained so much of herself in the fight, trying to keep others alive, trying to be useful. But she couldn't stop now. Not when he was in front of her, hurt because of her.
Her hands hovered over the worst wound, shaking slightly before she forced them to steady. Focus. Do what you have to.
But as she pressed her glowing fingers to his skin, and the warmth of her power seeped into his body, another weight settled over her. Guilt.
He came here because of her.
He got hurt because of her.
And worst of all… his mind was slipping, because of her. Regressing into something she wasn’t sure she could pull him back from. She choked on a sob, and her vision blurred as she fought to keep her hands steady, mending his torn flesh.
The sound made his jaw tick, and something shifted in his expression. Slowly, he turned his head to her, knitting his brows together as he took in the sight of her tear-streaked face. His gaze flickered toward the door -searching, assessing-before settling back on her.
The hesitation flickered in his usually unwavering demeanor. Then, with a slow movement, he lifted his flesh hand and cupped her cheek.
“Why?” he rasped, his voice was rough, uncertain.
That made her sob harder, but she didn’t stop mending him. She leaned into his palm, pressing her cheek against the warmth of his hand as she sniffled, trying to regain control of herself.
“S-sorry,” she managed, her voice unsteady.
“You are always sorry,” he countered, in a neutral, almost observational tone.
Something about the way he said it made her pause. It rang a bell. The Soldat never spoke to her before. Not when they dragged him into the med bay, not when she pleaded with him to respond in those stolen moments of quiet, not when she whispered apologies he couldn’t acknowledge.
But this wasn’t Bucky either, not completely. This was a fractured version of him, a Soldat pulled from the depths of his mind, not the same hollow shell she remembered. He was speaking to her, processing things in a way he never had before. How much of him was in there? How much did he understand?
“It seems so,” she conceded, in barely above a whisper, more to herself than to him.
He studied her, tilting his head slightly, the way he used to when something puzzled him. “You should stop before the handlers come in here,” he said, not harshly, but matter-of-factly, as though it was the most natural conclusion.
Her heart clenched. His mind was caught in the past, in a time when her presence at his side had always been followed by pain, by orders, by unseen eyes watching their every move.
She forced a small, steady breath, keeping her hands moving as she knitted his skin back together. “There are no… handlers here,” she said softly, keeping her tone careful, controlled.
His brow furrowed slightly, but he didn’t argue. His thumb brushed absently over her cheek, like he was still trying to place her, to make sense of the moment.
She swallowed hard. “Do you know where you are?”
He blinked, and his eyes flickered toward the corners of the room as if searching for cameras, for listening ears. His jaw clenched, and when he spoke, his voice was quieter, like he was telling her a secret.
“I know I was sent to retrieve you,” he admitted. “You are the one who fixes me. Always do.” A pause. “You shouldn’t be talking to me. I know what happens to you every time you talk."
Her throat closed, and suddenly, it felt impossible to breathe. A sharp twist of nausea coiled in her stomach, memories slamming with brutal force. Her hands trembled slightly where they pressed against his wound. “No one is going to come,” she whispered.
His brow twitched. His head tilted slightly, and his eyes scanned hers, as if searching for something, truth, deception, an explanation that made sense in the fractured landscape of his mind.
“They always do,” he said again, quieter.
She swallowed hard and lifted a trembling hand, resting it lightly against his jaw. His skin was warm beneath her fingertips. “Not this time, radnój,” she murmured.
His breath stilled.
His flesh hand, still cradling her cheek, stiffened slightly before his grip loosened as if he wasn’t sure whether to hold on or let go.
The endearment shocked him. That word had never been meant for him. He had heard it before but never directed it at him. His fingers flexed uncertainly against her cheek. She always had spoken to him before -soothing words in hushed tones, quiet reassurances when no one was listening- but never this.
His brow creased, and his gaze searched hers as though trying to make sense of it. “You don’t-” The words caught on his lips, and he shook his head slightly. “You shouldn’t.”
She exhaled shakily, brushing her thumb over his jaw in soft defiance. “I do.”
A flicker of hesitation crossed his features. Soldat did not hesitate. But something about her -about this- was pulling him somewhere he didn’t understand.
“…Why?” he finally rasped, in a quiet, rougher tone.
His eyes searched hers, as a storm of confusion and something else swirled in them. His hand still hovered near her face, as if caught between instinct and reason.
“Did I overstep?” she deflected softly.
His gaze dropped, and the furrow between his brows deepened. “No,” he mumbled after a long pause, almost contemplative. “I just don’t… understand.” His brows drew together further, and his expression was caught somewhere between confusion and something deeper, something close to longing, buried under years of conditioning.
She took a slow breath, before carefully asking, "Is it okay to hug you?"
She and Bucky hugged a lot, usually with him being the one to start the embrace. But this man in front of her was not entirely him, not yet. And she wasn’t sure if Soldat would welcome such physical contact.
He blinked at her, and the hand in his thigh tightened briefly before loosening again. His brow creased in thought, like he was trying to decipher a foreign language. Hugging. That wasn’t something that belonged in his world. Contact had always been a means to an end: restraint, punishment, control. Not this.
She waited, patient and open, making no move to force it. Just offering.
Finally, after a long beat of silence, he gave the smallest nod.
Carefully, she leaned in, moving slowly, telegraphing every motion as she wrapped her arms around him. He tensed at first, but she didn’t pull away. She just held on, warm and calm, resting her cheek lightly in the top of his head.
His breath shuddered out of him, and after another beat of hesitation, his metal arm came up around her. Not crushing, not desperate, just holding her.
It was different from Bucky’s embraces. Bucky clung, seeking comfort he didn’t know how to ask for. But Soldat? This was uncharted ground. He wasn’t seeking, he was discovering. Testing the weight of the contact. Trying to understand why something so simple could feel so foreign.
She squeezed him just a little, in silent reassurance. “See?” she murmured. “Safe.”
He didn’t answer, but he didn’t let go either.
For a long moment, they stayed like that, wrapped in silence. She felt his chest rise and fall in measured breaths, as if he was trying to calibrate the sensation of being held. His fingers twitched slightly where they rested against her back, flexing as if testing their own freedom to move.
She exhaled softly, rubbing slow, deliberate circles against his back, feeling the tension in his muscles, so much of it, always there, always braced for the next order. But no command came this time. No mission awaited.
“You can let go if you want,” she whispered, though she made no move to pull away. “But you don’t have to.”
His grip tightened, just barely. A silent answer.
Instead, he tilted his head slightly, just enough for his forehead to ghost against her temple. The breath he released was deep and measured, like he was recalibrating himself against her presence.
She closed her eyes. This was Bucky, somewhere underneath, even if his mind was still tangled in old wires. And if she had to be his tether back to himself, she would be.
“I’m here,” she murmured, not expecting a response.
But after a moment, barely audible, he rasped, “…I know.”
She leaned in just a fraction more, tilting her head so their foreheads pressed together, brushing her nose against his. A barely-there touch, light as a whisper. He was so still, caught somewhere between the past and the present, between instinct and something softer. His vibranium hand flexed at her waist. She whispered his name. Not Soldat, not a title, just his name. A soft reminder. His grip on her tightened, slightly curling his fingers into the fabric of her clothes. His breath became uneven and shallow. “I know,” he murmured again, in a rough, almost pained tone. He didn’t let go. And neither did she.
She pulled back just enough to meet his eyes, wide and uncertain. The flickering light overhead cast shadows over his face, deepening the exhaustion etched into his features.
“I need to keep taking care of those wounds, hm?” she murmured softly, gentle as the touch she brushed along his back.
“Later,” he rasped, slightly tightening his grip at her waist.
She sighed softly, ghosting her fingers over his temple, pushing back a stray strand of hair. “I know you’re in pain, just-“
“And you’re drained,” he cut her off, tightening his jaw. His voice dipped lower, rougher. “Always… drained. Always crying. Always good. Even if I don’t deserve it.”
There he was again, stuck in the past, tangled in guilt and old wounds that refused to close.
Her heart clenched, but she didn’t let go. Didn’t move away. Instead, she cupped his cheek, brushing her thumb just beneath his eye.
“You deserve kindness,” she said firmly. “You always have.”
He turned his face slightly into her palm, as if hiding from the weight of her words. “…I don’t believe that,” he admitted.
She swallowed the lump in her throat, tightening her fingers against his skin. “Then let me believe it for you.”
Slowly, cautiously, she leaned in.
His breath hitched and his fingers flexed against her back, but he didn’t move away. Didn’t stop her.
She hesitated just before closing the distance, stopping her lips a whisper away from his. A silent offering, not a demand. He could pull back. He could reject it.
But he didn’t.
His grip on her tightened ever so slightly, barely perceptible, but she felt it, the smallest tug, a subconscious need.
So she closed the gap.
The first touch of her lips against his was featherlight, hesitant. The kind of kiss given when neither person was sure if they were allowed to have it. When the past weighed too heavy, when the present was too fragile.
He stiffened at first, as if his body didn’t know what to do with the warmth, real warmth. The softness of her lips against his, the tentative press of her fingers against his cheek, all of it felt foreign, too delicate for someone like him. But then, something in him cracked. His fingers curled against the fabric at her back, then tightening his grip and for a second -just one second- he leaned into it.
Then a sharp inhale. A shudder. His grip twitched, his body went rigid again, and she felt it, felt the exact moment the weight of too much history, too much instinct, too much them came crashing down.
She pulled back immediately, searching his face. His eyes were wide, pupils blown, his breath shallow. His lips parted, as if trying to form words but finding none.
She gently stroke her thumb along his cheekbone. “It’s okay,” she whispered. “You’re okay.”
His throat bobbed, and his fingers ghosted at her waist, barely touching, like he wasn’t sure if he was allowed. His gaze flicked down, lingering on her lips for the briefest moment before darting back up to her eyes.
Then, barely above a whisper, rough and unsure-
“…Again?”
A request. A plea. A fractured man grasping at something good, something warm, something he never thought he could have.
She smiled softly, before leaning in once more, giving him exactly what he asked for.

HIM & I
rafe cameron x fem!reader
SUMMARY: rafe confronts the pogues after they try to get his girl to turn on him—big mistake.

(check out my other drew starkey & rafe cameron works here !!)
WARNINGS: cursing, rafe threatening the pogues, mentions of murder, maybe a sliiightly toxic relationship (?), alcohol consumption. (lmk if i missed anything !!)
WORD COUNT: 1.6k
THIRD PERSON +
The summer heat hung heavy in the air, thick with salt and gasoline, the scent of the Outer Banks. The island was split in two—the Kooks, who had everything, and the Pogues, who had nothing. And in the middle of it all stood Y/N, Rafe Cameron’s girl.
Not just his girlfriend. His obsession.
Rafe wasn’t known for being soft. Not with his father breathing down his neck, not with his so-called friends who only stuck around for the drugs and money, and certainly not with the Pogues, who were a thorn in his side. But Y/N—she was different. She was the only thing in this world that could make Rafe pause, the only thing he couldn’t bring himself to destroy.
He was still reckless, still dangerous, still a ticking time bomb—but with Y/N, he was something else too. Soft, almost. Not in the way that made him weak, but in the way that made him even more dangerous. Because if anything ever happened to her, he would burn this island to the ground.
They were inseparable, always tangled up in each other, whether it was his arm slung over her shoulders at a party, his lips trailing down her neck when no one was looking, or the way she fit perfectly against him when he finally let himself rest.
Y/N would do anything for Rafe. And he’d do anything for her.
So when the Pogues pulled her aside one afternoon, she already knew there was no world in which she would betray Rafe Cameron.
They had found her alone near The Wreck, waiting for Rafe to pick her up. Pope was the first to speak. “Y/N, listen, we need your help.”
She raised an eyebrow, already uninterested. “With what?”
“Proving John B’s innocence,” Kie said.
Y/N scoffed, crossing her arms. “You’re joking, right?”
They weren’t.
“Rafe killed Peterkin,” Pope said, low and serious. “We know it. And we know you know it too.”
“Sarah saw him,” Kie added. “We just need something—anything—that proves it wasn’t John B.”
“You don’t have to protect him,” JJ said, his tone a little different from the others. He wasn’t pleading with her, wasn’t trying to reason. He was taunting. “I mean, come on, Y/N, you think Rafe would do the same for you?”
That made her blood boil.
“You don’t know anything about me and Rafe,” she snapped.
“Then prove it,” JJ challenged. “Help us, and I’ll believe it.”
Y/N let out a short laugh, shaking her head. “You actually think I’d turn on him? That I’d betray my Rafe for you?” She took a step closer, her voice venomous. “You don’t get it, do you? I’m not afraid of Rafe. I love him. And if you think for a second that I’d help you take him down, you’re out of your goddamn minds.”
She left them standing there, stunned, and walked away without looking back.
Rafe was waiting for her in his truck, one hand gripping the steering wheel, the other tapping against his knee impatiently. He relaxed the second he saw her, his sharp features softening, his whole body exhaling in relief.
“Where the hell were you?” he asked as she climbed in.
“Talking to the Pogues,” she said, her voice laced with irritation.
Instantly, Rafe’s expression darkened. “What?”
“They tried to get me to help them prove John B’s innocent.”
Rafe went still.
It was a terrifying kind of stillness, the kind that came before a storm. His grip on the steering wheel tightened until his knuckles turned white.
“They what?” His voice was calm, but she knew him too well to be fooled.
“They think I’d turn on you,” she said, shaking her head, almost laughing at the absurdity of it. “That I’d help them prove you killed Peterkin.”
That was all it took.
Rafe let out a sharp, bitter laugh, one that sent chills down her spine. “That’s fucking hilarious,” he muttered, shaking his head in disbelief. “They actually thought you’d betray me?”
His laugh faded just as quickly as it came. His jaw clenched, his nostrils flared, and that familiar rage flickered to life behind his blue eyes.
“They think they can talk to my girl,” he said, his voice dark and dangerous. “That they can turn you against me?”
She could see the storm brewing inside him, the way his fingers twitched like he was itching to grab something—someone. His knee bounced violently, and his breathing was slow, controlled, like he was trying not to explode.
Y/N reached over, placing her hand over his. “I shut them down,” she murmured. “They’re idiots if they ever thought I’d turn on you.”
Rafe exhaled through his nose, his knee stopping its frantic movement. He grabbed her hand, gripping it tightly.
“You’re mine,” he said, his voice low and possessive. “They don’t get to talk to you. They don’t get to look at you. They don’t even get to fucking think about you.”
Y/N leaned in, her lips brushing against his jaw. “Then make sure they don’t,” she whispered.
Rafe turned his head, his lips crashing against hers in a bruising, desperate kiss. He kissed her like he was staking his claim, like he needed to feel her, taste her, to remind himself that she was here, that she wasn’t going anywhere.
When he pulled away, his eyes were still burning with fury.
“They’re gonna regret ever coming near you,” he muttered.
Y/N didn’t doubt it for a second.
—
The Boneyard was alive with the pulse of heavy bass and the crash of waves against the shore. Fires burned bright, illuminating the faces of Kooks and Pogues alike, their rivalries momentarily drowned in the haze of alcohol and summer heat. But that peace wouldn’t last.
Not tonight.
Because Rafe Cameron had a score to settle.
He stood at the top of the dunes, looking down at the crowd like a king surveying his kingdom. His jaw was clenched, his hands curled into fists at his sides. Y/N stood beside him, her lips curled into a smirk, arms crossed casually over her chest. She knew what was about to happen—hell, she’d been waiting for it just as much as he had.
“You ready?” Rafe asked, voice low, eyes burning.
She turned to him, expression playful. “Always.”
Rafe smirked, but there was no humor behind it. Just something dark and volatile, barely contained. Then he was moving, striding down the dunes with the confidence of someone who owned this entire island.
Heads turned as he passed. Kooks raised their cups, cheering for their golden boy, oblivious to the rage simmering just beneath the surface. But the Pogues? They stiffened the second they saw him.
John B, JJ, Pope, and Kie were gathered near the fire, deep in conversation, but the second Rafe and Y/N approached, they all fell silent.
JJ was the first to react, straightening up and rolling his shoulders back like he was ready for a fight. “Oh, look,” he drawled, taking a swig from his beer. “Kook Prince and his loyal queen.”
Y/N scoffed, but Rafe barely acknowledged the remark. His eyes were locked on them, sharp and unrelenting.
“Which one of you dumbasses thought it was a good idea to talk to my girl?” he asked, voice deceptively calm.
John B tensed. Kie shifted uncomfortably. Pope kept his mouth shut.
JJ, of course, grinned. “You mean about you, uh, murdering someone?”
Rafe laughed—a sharp, humorless sound. “That’s funny,” he said, tilting his head. “You know what else is funny? Thinking Y/N would ever betray me.”
JJ’s smirk faltered for just a second before he masked it with bravado. “I don’t know, man. She seems smart enough to know when she’s on the losing side.”
Y/N let out a laugh, stepping closer, brushing against Rafe’s side. “You’re delusional if you think there’s any world in which I’d choose you over Rafe,” she said. “I mean, come on, JJ. Are you really that desperate?”
JJ’s jaw clenched, but before he could say anything, Rafe took another step forward, closing the distance.
“You don’t talk to my girl,” he said, voice dropping to something low and dangerous. “You don’t look at my girl. You don’t even fucking think about her. Understand?”
JJ, never one to back down, scoffed. “Or what?”
Rafe’s eyes darkened, his smirk returning, but this time it was cold, calculated. “You don’t ‘wanna find out.”
There was a pause, thick with tension.
JJ met Rafe’s stare head-on, but for the first time, there was something hesitant in his gaze.
Rafe had always been unhinged. Dangerous. But this? This wasn’t just some Kook/Pogue rivalry. This was personal.
And when it came to Y/N, there was no line Rafe wouldn’t cross.
John B finally spoke, stepping between them. “We don’t want any trouble.”
Rafe let out a short, mocking laugh. “Yeah? Then you should’ve kept your mouths shut.”
The Kooks were starting to notice now, whispers spreading, eyes darting toward the confrontation. It wouldn’t be long before the whole party knew.
“You think you’re untouchable,” JJ muttered, shaking his head.
Rafe smirked. “No. I know I am.”
Y/N chuckled beside him, slipping her hand into his. “You should’ve known better,” she said, her voice dripping with amusement. “Rafe isn’t someone you fuck with. And neither am I.”
JJ’s lips pressed into a thin line, but he didn’t say anything. He couldn’t say anything. Not when it was so obvious that they had lost whatever game they thought they were playing.
Rafe leaned in, voice just loud enough for the Pogues to hear. “This was your one warning. Next time? I won’t be so nice.”
And with that, he turned, dragging Y/N with him as they walked away, leaving the Pogues standing there, seething.
The night continued around them, the music blaring, the drinks flowing—but everyone knew.
Rafe Cameron had made his point.
Loud and fucking clear.

ITS ME AGAIN😎
need a jealous!hyun-ju x fem!reader who gets a bit too close with gi-hun, ANDD reader ends up getting edged and fingered roughly by jealous!hyun-ju as reader tried to quiet down in the bathroom??
TYSM I LVOE YOUR FICS🫶
HEYYYY👋🏻 Are you becoming a regular?!😂 Let me see what I can do!
BEAUTIFUL ENVY
Summary: During the games, you become close with Hyun-ju, not realizing the envy that builds inside of her when you start also getting close to Gi-Hun.
Pairing: Jealous!Hyun-ju x Femreader!
Warnings: SMUT and jealousy.
Not an adult? Don't read! 🔞
Hyun-ju grits her teeth as she hears you laugh along with Gi-Hun's group. Just because they decided to work together didn't mean that you could just leave her.
That thought made Hyun-ju tense. You weren't together. She had no right to be feeling this way. But the sight of you smiling at someone else after you had been so kind to her, made her want to strangle Gi-Hun.
Looking back over at you, her blood boils. Gi-Hun was offering you his gimbap. He'll no.
She was walking towards you before she could even think. You looked up at her as she stood in front of you and Gi-Hun, the rest of the group talking about random things, not really paying attention to Hyun-ju.
"Hyun-" You go to question, only to be silenced when she holds out her gimbap as well. The look she was giving Gi-Hun made you tense where you sat.
With both of them offering you their food, you didn't know what to do. "Um, thank you both, but I'm not that hungry!" You say, letting out a nervous chuckle that only Gi-Hun returns.
You give Hyun-ju a soft smile, trying to ease whatever tension this was. You can see her relax a little.
She sits on the other side of you. Young-il asked Gi-Hun about what he thought the next game would be, and you listened closely, leaning in closer.
You heard her scoff before you felt her hand on your forearm. She pulled you a bit closer to her, leaning down close to your ear. "He doesn't know anything about the next game. He was wrong about the second game. We shouldn't trust him." She whispers.
You frown. You did trust Gi-Hun. He helped everyone in red light, green light. He's voted to go home, which is more than Hyun-ju has done. She voted to stay once after all.
"He's not untrustworthy-" you try to say until you notice her soft glare, making you shrink a bit into yourself. "You can't be sure of someone's intentions, sweet girl, especially in here." She explains softly. You knew she was right. But that means you also couldn't trust her.
She seems to know what you were thinking, and you see her eyes soften. "You know I'd never betray you, don't you? Not after what happened to Young-Mi." She whispers, making you look down in guilt.
"I know." You whisper back softly, your breath hitching as she reaches to hold your hand. "I won't let anyone hurt you. Not any of the players, not any of the guards, not even yourself." She says. Your eyebrows furrow for a moment, not really knowing what she means by not letting you hurt yourself, but she doesn't clarify.
You made a mistake. That's all. You wouldn't leave her. Not for him. He's old enough to be your father. But the way you clung to him during lights out...
She clenches her fists. As soon as the guards shut it down and announced it was time for bed, she grabbed your wrist, making you get out of your bed. Not enough to hurt, but enough were you knew she was serious. You question her with your gaze, but she looks straight ahead, her pace much faster than yours.
She knocks on the door, and a triangle guard opens the little window to see what she wants. "She got her period. Would you please let us through so I can help her clean her pants?" She asks making your eyes widen. You weren't on your period.
When the window shuts, she quickly takes off her jacket, tying it around your waist. Knocking again, this time, the guard lets you through.
She was smart. The guard checked your backside when you walked past him.
As soon as the woman's restroom door shut, Hyun-ju rushed and pushed you against a wall, her touch firm, making you gasp.
"W-What are you doing?" You ask, the look in her eyes changing from firm...to hunger.
"You let him hold you." She whispers close to your ear. "W-what? Wh-" She inturupts, "Gi-Hun. Player 456. You let that asshole touch you." She sneers. You have to crane your neck to look up at her. "I-I don't underst-" you try to say.
"You will." Hyun-ju says, her eyes dark. One of her hands travels down your body, stopping just under the line of your bra. "What color is it, baby?" She asks in a whisper.
You give her a confused look. "What color is your bra?" She says, one of her fingers tracing where your nipple is.
Your eyes widen, but you feel the need to answer her. "P-Purple" you whisper, hearing her inhale sharply.
"Has he seen it? Gi-Hun?" She asks, starting to lift your shirt up gently. "N-No of course not, w-why would-" She shuts you up with a kiss. Her lips are softer than what you would have thought, and moist.
"I see the way he looks at you, baby." She says as she breaks the kiss. "And you give him those sweet puppy eyes, don't you?" She asks, lifting your shirt over your head, her eyes immediately taking in the sight of your breasts.
"I don't." You whisper. "You do, baby. Don't lie. But that's okay, I'll fix it." She says, leaning down and kissing the edge of your cleavage. "Mmm, so soft." She mumbles against the supple flesh of your right breast.
"What do you mean? Fix what?" You ask, a little breathless already. You can feel her smirk. "I'll make sure you only look at me." She says, keeping her eyes on yours as she rips your bra.
You gasp, making her chuckle darkly. She throws the now useless peice of cloth on the bathroom floor, returning her hands to your chest, squeezing.
Hyun-ju leans back down, waisting no time with taking your nipple into her mouth. The cold bathroom, in contrast to her hot mouth, makes you shiver.
You gasp as she switches to the other breast, giving it the same treatment. "H-Hyun-ju we can't" you whimper, making her chuckle. She's already kissing her way down your stomach, getting on her knees in front of you.
Faster than you can think, she has your pants pulled down, looking at your matching purple underwear. "You're so fucking beautiful, baby." She whispers, starting to kiss up your thigh.
She gently kisses your clit through your panties, making you gasp. "I can see how wet you are, Y/n. You've soaked your panties." She whispers, looking up at you hungrily. You don't protest as she slides them down next.
"Oh baby..." She coos, looking at your pussy. "Your little clit is swollen...do you want me to make it all better? Hmm?" She asks, making you whine.
You nod.
That clearly didn't satisfy her because the next second, you feel a small slap to your pussy. "Use your words like a good girl." She says firmly. Holy fuck.
"Y-Yes...please make it better!" You whimper. She gives you a smile before you feel her tongue on your clit.
She teases you just a little before reaching up and putting two of her fingers inside you. "Fuck baby, you're so tight. You can take another one, can't you?" She says, her tone mocking. When you whine, shaking your head, she adds another anyway, giving you a nice stretch.
Having both her fingers and her tongue feels like heaven. Pure heaven. But that thought quickly leaves your mind when you feel her change the pace.
You could hear the wet sound of your pussy as her fingers set an unforgivable pace. "H-Hyun-ju!" You squel. "T-To much p-please slow down!" You moan.
You look down, watching as she pulls away from your clit, smirking.
"To bad." She says, fingerings you a little harder. "Oh fuck!" You scream, the back of your head against the wall.
"Do you think Gi-Hun could make you feel this good? Hmm?" She asks, her eyes sharp. You quickly shake your head, which makes her stop.
"What did I say about using your words?" She sneers, taking her fingers away. "No no please don't stop!" You beg, your hips lifting trying to get her back.
"Are you going to be a good girl for me?" She asks, her lips kissing the skin just above your clit.
You go to nod, but remember her words. "Yes!" You say, making her tikt her head. "Tsk tsk tsk, say it properly, baby. Tell me you'll be a good girl for me." She commands.
"I'll be a good girl for you!" You say quickly, making her chuckle once more. "Only for me?" She asks, and you nod quickly. "Yes yes only for you Hyun-ju!"
She puts her fingers back inside you, setting another brutal pace. "Are you going to cum for me?" She asks.
"Yes yes! I'm so close!" You whimper. Not expecting her to pull away again, but she does.
"I don't think so. Not until I know you're sorry. You hurt my feelings with the way you looked at Gi-Hun. How do I know you won't let him touch you again? Hmm?" She says, licking her fingers clean of you.
You almost cry. "I am sorry, Hyun-ju. I'm so sorry, I only want you!"
She pretends to think, her thumb reaches up, keeping you on edge by rubbing tight circles on your already overstimulated clit.
"If I see you even look in his direction, I'll have you over my knee, no matter if we're in the bathroom or not." She says, making you nod.
This time, when you feel her fingers and that familiar pressure building in your tummy, she doesn't pull away. "Cum for me, pretty girl." She says, her voice sending vibrations through your core.
She stimulates you through your climax, making sure not a second of pleasure is wasted. "Such a good girl for me." She whispers, her head getting awfully close to your core.
"W-what are y-" you can't finish your sentence as she licks into you. "Mmm let me clean you up, baby." She says.
After she helps you put your shirt and pants back on, she picks up the discarded bra, putting it in her pocket. "Come on, sweet girl, you need to rest for tomorrow." She says, her tone now soft.
She holds your hand on the walk back to your bunk. She even kisses your forehead before she walks back to her own.
You don't notice that she makes a stop first.
Hyun-ju walks up to player 456's bed, leaving a torn purple fabric next to his shoes.
Stay away from her girl Gi-Hun✋🏻😏

🕸️ 022 . beneath the night sky
synopsis soider-man reveals that the you have always mattered to him before leaving with a gentle farewell.
written portion below. wc 1515
maybe you should’ve listened to reo’s advice and let his chauffeur drive you home. no one in their right mind would walk home alone at midnight. the streets were eerily quiet, the air heavy with silence except for the occasional rustle of leaves. but then you caught it, a faint green glow flickering in the distance, accompanied by a sound like something dragging across the pavement. your chest tightened as unease crept up your spine, the feeling of being followed growing stronger with every step.
you froze when someone suddenly leapt in front of you, blocking your path.
“walking alone at night again? haven’t we talked about this?” the voice was unmistakable, teasing yet familiar. suddenly, the eerie silence lifted, yet a sense of unease still lingered at the edges.
startled, you nearly jumped out of your skin. “spider-man?!” you hissed, clutching your chest. “i almost had a heart attack!”
“relax” he said, his hands raised in mock surrender. “i wasn’t following you. i saw you from a block away while i was patrolling. are you okay?” his tone shifted, concern softening his otherwise confident demeanor.
still catching your breath, you scowled at him. “okay? no, i’m not okay! don’t sneak up on people like that, it’s creepy!”
he leaned against a lamppost as if this was just another ordinary night. “noted. but seriously, it’s midnight, and you’re out here alone. do you really think this is a good idea?” his tone shifted slightly, more serious.
“i can handle myself, you know.”
his gaze suddenly flicked to the darkened streets ahead, his sharp instincts clearly on high alert. you rolled your eyes, trying to hide your unease. and before he could respond, came a sudden clanging sound echoed from a nearby alley. his body stiffened immediately, his hand instinctively reaching toward you as if to shield you. “stay here” he said, his voice dropping an octave, all traces of teasing gone. you froze, watching as his silhouette disappeared into the darkness for a moment. the rustling grew louder, but he returned just as quickly, his mask hiding whatever concern he might’ve felt.
“false alarm” he said with a shrug, though his eyes lingered on the shadows behind you for a second too long. “still, i’m walking you home. no arguments.”
this was the second time spider-man had walked you home, and with everything that had been happening, the thought of him leaving filled you with unease.
“if there’s nothing else, i’ll be on my way now” he said, turning to go.
“wait, can you stay?”
he paused, his head tilting slightly as if surprised by your request. his usually confident stance softened, and for a moment, he seemed almost unsure. “stay?” he repeated, his voice quieter now. “why? did something happen?”
you nod, not sure why, but the sense of safety he brings is something you can't easily shake off. It’s not just his presence, but the idea that, despite the chaos in your life, he’s always there when you need him.
“i don’t want to be alone right now” you admit quietly, feeling a little embarrassed.
his posture shifted, the tension easing as he crossed his arms and leaned slightly against the nearest wall. “alright,” he said after a beat, his voice carrying a warmth you hadn’t expected. “i’ll stay but don’t tell anyone, i have a reputation to uphold, you know.”
the corners of your lips lifted into a smile. “i won’t tell a soul.”
“anyway you have a nice place here.”
“thanks. someone else said that too.”
“mind if i look around a bit?”
“go ahead, spider-man.”
as he walked around, his eyes landed on the calculus worksheets scattered on your desk.
“still struggling with calculus, huh?”
he froze. shit. that’s only something michael kaiser knows, not spider-man. he shouldn’t have said that. he cursed himself silently.
“sorry, what?”
“uh, i mean, i just noticed your papers.” he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, hoping you wouldn’t catch on to his slip.
you raised an eyebrow, but a small grin tugged at your lips. "uh-huh, sure, spidey. just checking my homework out?"
he shrugged, clearly flustered. "just making sure you're staying sharp. you know, it's important to keep your brain in shape, just like the rest of you”
noticing you weren’t present than usual, he slowly settled beside you, his gaze softening as he asked, “something on your mind?"
you hesitated for a moment before replying, "not really, just these anonymous dms i’ve been getting lately."
he leaned in slightly, his voice dropping to a softer, more playful tone. "anonymous dms? sounds suspiciously like someone is trying to get your attention" he teased, a mischievous grin hidden behind the mask. "what kind of messages are we talking about?"
you rolled your eyes, but there was a hint of amusement. "they're not threatening or anything, just weird. honestly, i don’t know if i should be worried or just confused."
he leaned back, his body language relaxed but still with a hint of concern. "weird how? i can’t let my favorite person get weird dms without me stepping in. you’ve got me worried now."
you shrugged, trying to brush it off. “it’s probably nothing. just unsettling, you know?”
spider-man raised an eyebrow, his tone turning slightly teasing. "if anyone's making you feel uncomfortable, they're going to have to answer to me."
you couldn't help but laugh. "how are you sure you’ll be around when i need you?"
he stepped closer, his eyes softening behind the mask as he gazed at you with a gentle but playful smile. "you think i’d leave you hanging?" he asked, voice low but confident. "you’ve got nothing to worry about. i’ll always be around."
your heart skipped a beat at his words, the weight behind them sinking in deeper than you expected. there was something in the way he said it, like a promise, unshaken and unwavering. you met his gaze, searching for something, anything, behind the mask that might tell you this wasn’t just spider-man talking, but the person beneath it.
“always, hmm?” you murmured, a small smile tugging at your lips despite yourself.
he chuckled softly, tilting his head “that surprises you?”
you shook your head, but the warmth in your chest betrayed you. “no, it’s just, i guess i didn’t think i meant that much to you.
for a second, he didn’t say anything, just looked at you. And then, with a quiet exhale, he reached up not to remove his mask, but to lightly tap your forehead with two fingers, the touch barely there.
“you don’t get it, do you?” he mused, voice softer now, almost affectionate. “you’ve always mattered to me, y/n.”
your breath hitched, your pulse quickening as his words settled between you. the playful tension that usually filled your conversations had shifted into something deeper, something that made your heart race for a completely different reason.
“spidey” you started, but you weren’t even sure what you wanted to say.
he took a step closer, close enough that you could feel the warmth radiating off him despite the cool night air. “get some rest” he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. “and if those dms keep bothering you, let me know. you’re not alone in this.”
he lingered for a moment longer, as if debating something, before finally pulling away. with one last glance, he made his way toward the window, but just before slipping out, he hesitated.
“sweet dreams” he said, his voice tinged with something almost tender.
and just like that, he was gone, vanishing into the night. but your mind started to drift, wondering how on earth he knew your name, considering you’ve met him several times without ever mentioning it.

𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐈 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔; min ho
summary: in this intense romance, y/n and min ho, both struggling with fear and hesitation, confront their undeniable chemistry in a private moment that leads to a passionate kiss, marking the beginning of an emotionally charged relationship as they finally embrace what they’ve both been too afraid to admit. (pt. 2 to roses)
warnings: mention of making out
word count: 2120
AS YOU WATCHED MIN HO WALK OUT YOU HAD ONE OF TWO DECISIONS TO MAKE !
you weren't going to let him walk away this time.
the second min ho stepped out of the dorm, you were already on your feet, heart pounding in your chest.
before you could even second-guess yourself, you were chasing after him.
he felt it.
you knew he did.
and if you didn't confront it now, it was going to drive you mad.
"min ho," you called out.
he didn't stop.
you quickened your pace, frustration creeping in. "min ho—"
"go back inside, y/n." his voice was cold, clipped, nothing like it had been just minutes ago.
no.
you weren't going to let him shut down on you.
you grabbed his wrist, gripping it tightly. "no."
he turned to face you, his expression unreadable. "what?"
you glanced around, heart pounding in your ears.
the hallway was too open, too exposed. anyone could hear you, and you needed privacy.
without thinking, you yanked him toward the nearest supply closet, flinging the door open and shoving him inside.
"y/n—"
before he could protest, you slipped in after him and slammed the door shut.
darkness.
the only light was a faint sliver from the hallway, barely illuminating the cramped space. shelves lined one wall, stocked with blankets and cleaning supplies.
it was too intimate, too close—but you didn't care.
min ho exhaled sharply, leaning back against the door. "are you serious?"
"yes," you snapped, your chest heaving. "because we need to talk."
"there's nothing to talk about." his voice was forced, his body tense.
you stepped closer, the confined space leaving barely any room between you. "bullshit."
min ho inhaled sharply as you moved into his space, your chin tilting up to glare at him.
his adam's apple bobbed, lips parted as if he was about to say something—before they pressed into a firm line.
"you don't get to just say all that," you continued, your voice trembling slightly, "and then walk away."
his jaw clenched. "i didn't leave—"
"yes, you did!" your frustration boiled over. "you dropped that confession like a bomb, and then walked away like it meant nothing."
his eyes darkened. "isn't that what you wanted?"
you froze.
min ho let out a humorless laugh. "you weren't exactly jumping at the chance to say anything back, y/n."
you swallowed hard, pulse racing. "because i—i didn't know what to say."
min ho scoffed, shaking his head. "right."
you wanted to hit him. or kiss him. or both.
instead, you shoved at his chest, frustration burning through you. "you can't just drop something like that on me, min ho! you can't look at me like that and—"
"like what?" he challenged, stepping forward.
you instinctively backed up, the shelves pressing against your back.
min ho moved closer, his hands bracing against the wood on either side of your head, trapping you in.
your breath caught.
"like what, y/n?" his voice dropped, rough and dangerous. his scent—clean, warm, unmistakably him—wrapped around you, clouding your thoughts.
you swallowed hard, fingers trembling. "like—like you want me."
his lips parted, a sharp inhale escaping him.
then, ever so slightly, he leaned in.
"maybe that's because i do."
your entire body locked up.
min ho's gaze flickered to your lips, lingering there for a heartbeat too long.
the air between you was charged, thick with something neither of you could fight anymore.
you exhaled shakily, every nerve in your body heightened by how close he was, how easily he could close the space between you.
"say something," he murmured. his voice was softer now, almost vulnerable.
you licked your lips, heart racing. "i don't know how."
min ho's brows furrowed, his breath uneven. "then tell me to leave."
your hands clenched into fists.
"tell me you don't want this," he challenged, lips barely an inch from yours. "tell me, and i swear i'll go."
but you couldn't.
because it would be a lie.
and from the way min ho's expression shifted—the way his eyes searched yours, desperate, hopeful—he already knew.
you sucked in a shaky breath, your chest rising and falling rapidly. "min ho..."
his fingers twitched against the shelf, like he was using every ounce of restraint not to touch you. "tell me, y/n."
instead, you reached for him.
fingers curling into his hoodie, your voice barely a whisper.
"don't go."
min ho let out a shaky exhale—and then he moved.
one moment, you were standing there, every nerve in your body on edge, and the next—
his hands cupped your face, warm and firm, tilting your head up. his lips hovered over yours, so close you could feel his breath ghosting over your skin.
but he didn't kiss you.
not yet.
instead, he rested his forehead against yours, fingers tightening around your jaw like he was still waiting for permission, still waiting for you.
your breath stuttered.
your hands fisted into his hoodie, grounding yourself, confirming he was real.
"are you going to run away again?" you whispered, voice barely steady.
min ho let out a breathless laugh, his thumb brushing against your cheek, sending a shiver down your spine.
"not a chance."
and then—finally—he kissed you.
the kiss was everything and nothing like you expected.
min ho's lips were soft, but his kiss wasn't. it was desperate, like he'd been holding this in for far too long, like he was afraid you'd slip through his fingers if he didn't act now.
your hands tightened in his hoodie, your body instinctively pressing into his. he let out a frustrated exhale against your lips—like he wanted more but was holding himself back.
the tension snapped.
but just as quickly as it started, you pulled away.
your chest heaved, lips tingling, your heart a mess.
min ho's eyes were heavy-lidded, his breathing ragged as he stared at you like you'd just turned his world upside down.
maybe you had.
you swallowed, voice barely a whisper. "we... shouldn't have done that."
min ho's expression flickered—just a moment, just enough for you to notice—before his usual mask slipped back into place.
"right," he muttered, stepping back, jaw tightening. "of course."
your stomach twisted.
you didn't mean it.
not really.
but panic surged through you.
this was min ho—the same min ho who had spent months teasing you, acting like you were just a nuisance in his life.
now he was kissing you like he needed you?
it didn't make sense.
min ho scoffed, shaking his head. "i should've seen this coming."
your eyes snapped to him, heart still racing. "what the hell does that mean?"
"it means," he said, voice sharp, "that i was dumb enough to think—maybe—you felt the same way."
his words knocked the air from your lungs.
you opened your mouth, but no sound came out.
wasn't that the problem? that you did feel the same way? that you didn't know what to do with it?
"i—"
min ho scoffed again. "save it, y/n."
he turned for the door, reaching for the handle.
panic surged through you. "wait—"
min ho froze, his back still to you.
you inhaled sharply. "you can't just... walk away."
"why not?" his voice was cold now, distant, the exact opposite of the min ho who had held you like you were fragile just moments ago.
you hesitated. "because i—"
you what?
liked him? wanted him? needed him?
min ho exhaled sharply. "that's what i thought."
and then he was gone, slipping through the door, leaving you standing in the cramped closet, your heart still thundering.
the second min ho walked out, something inside you snapped.
you couldn't let him leave. not like this.
your heart was still racing, your lips still tingling from his kiss, his touch, the way he'd held you like you mattered. now, because of your own fear, he was walking away.
before you could talk yourself out of it, you blurted it out.
"i want you."
min ho froze.
the words hung in the air, heavy and irreversible.
seconds felt like hours.
slowly, min ho turned.
his expression was unreadable, lips parted, eyes locking onto yours with a intensity that sent a shiver down your spine.
"what did you say?" his voice was barely a whisper, unsure if he'd imagined it.
your throat went dry.
but you couldn't back down now.
"i want you, min ho."
something flickered in his expression—dangerous, unguarded.
min ho sucked in a slow breath, stepping forward, and suddenly the distance between you disappeared.
"say it again," he murmured, voice rougher.
you swallowed, your chest tight, aware of how close he was. "i want you, min ho moon."
min ho's jaw tightened, fingers twitching like he was fighting the urge to pull you into him. "then why the hell did you act like you didn't?"
you exhaled shakily. "because i was scared."
his eyes darkened. "of what?"
"of this." you gestured between you, frustration creeping into your voice. "of us. of what it means."
min ho let out a bitter laugh. "you think i'm not scared?"
you blinked.
he ran a hand through his hair, exhaling. "you drive me insane, y/n. i've spent so much time pretending i didn't care, pushing it down... but it never stops. i see you, and suddenly, i can't think straight."
your breath hitched.
min ho stepped closer, voice quieter, more vulnerable. "so yeah, i'm scared, too. but the difference is—i want this. i want you. if you feel the same way, you need to stop running."
your heart pounded.
because he was right.
you'd spent so much time fighting this, fighting him, when the truth had been staring you in the face all along.
you didn't just want min ho.
you needed him.
so, finally, you stopped thinking.
you grabbed his hoodie, pulled him down, and kissed him like your life depended on it.
min ho let out a sharp breath, surprised, but the moment your lips met his, all hesitation vanished.
his hands immediately found your waist, pulling you closer like he couldn't bear the distance between you.
the kiss was desperate, frantic, like he was trying to make up for lost time.
his fingers curled into your shirt as if needing something to hold onto.
when you pulled away, breathless and lightheaded, min ho rested his forehead against yours.
"say it one more time," he murmured, voice low and wrecked.
you smiled, hands still gripping his hoodie.
"i want you."
and this time, there was no hesitation.
the world outside that closet didn't matter anymore.
it was only min ho, and only you.
your heart still raced, every nerve alive with anticipation.
his fingers tangled in your shirt, pulling you closer, and for the first time, you weren't scared. you weren't questioning yourself.
this was real.
this was happening.
min ho's lips were on yours again, deeper this time, urgent, like you were both absorbing every ounce of this moment you'd both been too afraid to face.
his mouth moved against yours with a raw, desperate hunger.
and you kissed him back just as fiercely, hands trailing up to his neck, pulling him closer, feeling the heat of his body against yours.
his hands slipped under your shirt, caressing your bare skin, sending shivers down your spine.
you gasped into the kiss, your stomach flipping with every touch.
min ho deepened the kiss, his tongue brushing against yours, asking for permission you didn't hesitate to give.
you opened up to him, and the moment his tongue met yours, everything else disappeared.
it was just him.
just you.
he pulled you into him, backing you against the shelves, trapping you between the cold wood and his warmth. his hands gripped your hips, lifting you, pressing you against him, like he couldn't get close enough.
his lips trailed down your neck, and you gasped softly, tilting your head back as his kisses marked your skin.
"min ho..." you whispered his name like a prayer, tugging him back to your lips.
the kiss deepened, more frantic, desperate, because you both knew this moment would change everything.
you felt his heart pounding against yours, felt how desperately you both needed this.
finally, when you pulled apart, breathless and dazed, min ho pressed his forehead against yours, his hand cupping your cheek, as if to reassure himself this was real.
"be mine, y/n," he murmured, voice rough. "i don’t want to let you go."
you smiled. "you’re mine."
and with that, words no longer mattered.
you both knew what came next.
“happy valentine’s.” you whispered to min ho before going back into his dorm to talk to kitty.

Audio from Connecticut Public Radio, April 25, 2013.
“‘My parents were only-child type adults and their attitude when I was a baby and demanded attention, was, ‘Let him cry, he’ll get over it.’ As a result I’ve always felt a slightly abnormal need for extra affection. Until I was twenty, my life was overwhelmed by the pressures of discipline. The informality of The Monkees and the popularly of the show satisfies me.” - Peter Tork, interviewed by Lou Larkin for Photoplay, September 1967 “I had pathological self value. I really didn’t have a sense of it at all. I didn’t get why. I thought I had been picked almost at random. I didn’t have any sense of myself bringing anything except that character to the Monkees. What I thought they hired me for was that character, and I think to this day that that had a lot to do with it. I didn’t recognize how that sprung forth from whom who I really am. I thought I was faking them out. I thought I was handing them a lie and they were buying the lie — and so how could I value myself? Any time you compliment somebody and they can’t take the compliment, what they’re saying to you is, ‘You don’t know what you’re talking about.’ That’s the message that anybody with low self-esteem gives back when somebody compliments them. Which is where I was. All that played into this fame thing. And it plays backwards, too. The reason that I got into the fame game was because I didn’t have any sense of value. I thought, ‘Jeez, if I can get the millions to love me then I’ll be all right.’ I got the millions to love me — and it still wasn’t all right. What a surprise. Ha, ha, ha.” - Peter Tork, Toxic Fame: Celebrities Speak on Stardom (1996) Audio transcript: “No, no, no, I wanted to lose myself (chuckles), it was all about, bye-bye, I didn’t like the guy I was. I… the whole thing about—…do you want to talk about fame and why fame and charisma and why those things? Because I’ve been thinking about this stuff for a long time and we can get, it’ll get kind of serious if we do. The long and the short of it is that I don’t believe that anybody gets to be famous without needing the adulation as a substitute for reasonable affection and love in the early on. And of course you need, you need a certain amount of support anyway, you need parents who are—who provide healthy, physically healthy, and aren’t there for you at some—or at least you perceive them to be. I have to say, I don’t know whether my parents were emotionally neglectful; I know that I felt neglected. It may not be on them at all, it may just be a, you know, a quirk of nature. I’m discovering that I’m not built like a lot of other people In a lot of ways, but be that as it may, the sense of being isolated leads me to think that if I can only get the millions to love me then it’ll be all right, you know. And of course no amount of times that I tell you, or how many, how I go about telling you what it was like would prepare you to walk out and suddenly be in the middle of that. But in fact the rest of it is… I mean, it’s all human anyway. Nothing human is denied anybody human, basically; I really believe this very strongly.” - Peter Tork, Connecticut Public Radio, April 25, 2013

Rumor has it…
James Potter x reader
Authors note: please request stuff because I have no inspiration rn 😣😣
Warnings: um none? I don’t think, maybe rumors but other than that I don’t think so. No use of any name but one use of feminine pronouns
(First person)
I was furious. Someone has started a rumor, that me and James Potter were dating. Now don’t get me wrong, I liked him and he was great looking. But I’ve never thought past that, but whoever started this rumor has gone too far. Lily was following me as I was tracking down Potter. I pasted Sirius after he saw how upset I was, he pointed towards where he was.
I stormed up to him, “James! Why would you do that!?” I yelled at him and he looked so clueless and innocent. I know he started this rumor to humiliate me. “What? What did I do this time?” He asks with a very confused expression on his face. “Don’t act so clueless!” I exclaimed. After a moment his mouth made an ‘o’ shape and then was upset. He starts to walk around me, the way I just came from.
“Sirius!?” He yells down the hall to his best friend. It goes silent as his voice echoes down the hallway. As the black haired boy was sneaking down the hall to get away from James’ wrath. He turns around with an innocent smile, trying to ease into it. “Hey, friend, I really like your hair, did you do something different…?” He asks trying to distract James. “You know what, yea actually I did- wait! You can’t do that! I need an answer to this rumor I’ve just heard. What is it about me and her-“ he turns and points to me, “-dating!?” He says.
“Well, I know you like her and I found out that she likes you too, so I thought I should just tell… Mary and Dorcas that you guys were dating…” Sirius quickly explained. My brows furrowed concerned. “The biggest gossipers in the school!? You told them!?” I yelled at him. He smiled nervously and nodded scared. My fists balled together as I took a deep breath in and out. I see James roll his eyes and smack his forehead.
“We’ll talk about this later.” James told Sirius seriously as he nodded scared and ran off with Remus and Lily. “I’m so sorry about him, this isn’t how I wanted to tell you.” He turns to me and looks down. I look at him sadly. “Yea me too…” I say still looking at him. This was kind of funny actually. I start laughing and his head whips up to me and then he starts to laugh with me.
He then walks closer to me. “So maybe, on the next hogsmeade trip, you would want to go with me to Three Broomsticks? Like for a date?” He says hopefully. I pretend to think, tapping my finger on my chin, he gives me a ‘are you serious?’ look. I giggle and nod to his question. “Okay, so I’ll find you before and we can go, but right now I have to get to class to I can go. Minnie gives mean detention, could make me stay.” He says walking backward toward his class. Right before he turns around, he winks at me. I turn and almost scream like a little girl.
I run to my class, and sit next to Pandora, I tell her all about it with butterflies in my stomach. I had a real date this weekend, with an amazing guy that I really like.

John Price
John stands beside you on the passenger side of the car. The car door is open, and all you need to do is slide inside. Instead, you’re arguing with him, insisting that you can get in yourself, and that you don’t need help.
“You just had surgery,” chides John.
“Minor surgery,” you correct.
“It’s still surgery.” John sighs, and then places his hand on your back. “Let me help you.”
“Hands off, sir. You’re not my husband.”
John does not move his hand. “I don’t remember us getting a divorce, love.”
You wave him off and John snorts. “He’ll kick your ass,” you insist. “Punch you right in the nose.”
John’s stern demeanor cracks, dissolving into a wide smile and a soft chuckle. He shakes his head in disbelief. “I’m your bloody husband. You’re stuck with me. Forever.”
“I’m serious,” you say. Turning, you attempt to jab him in the chest with your finger. Everything tilts, and you only hit air.
John sighs, exasperated. “Get in the car, love.”
“No,” you groan, pushing at his chest. You surrender to him, allowing John to help you into the front passenger seat.
“I hope you remember this after the drugs wear off.”
John "Soap" MacTavish
You’ve been out with your friends all evening, and you have no idea what times it is. It’s dark, and you didn’t leave until the bar closed, forcing you to make an exit. Someone called for a car, and you all piled in, dropping each of off one by one.
As you enter the dark bedroom, you kick off your shoes, slightly stumbling to turn on the bedside light. You turn it on, and immediately wince. Vision swimming, you rub at your eyes, and then notice the massive lump in your bed.
“Turn off the bloody light, will you?” mumbles Johnny.
A devious plan forms in your head.
You climb onto the bed, crawling toward him. Noticing, Johnny turns toward you, eyes dreary with sleep.
“What?” he asks just before you flop your entire body onto him.
“Hi,” you whisper.
“Hi,” he deadpans.
You wiggle over him, pressing the tip of your nose against his. “You seeing anyone, handsome?”
Johnny arches an eyebrow. “Did you hit your head or something? I am your husband.”
“Lucky me.”
Johnny blows raspberries. With one good shove, he flips you onto your back on your side of the bed.
“Go to bed. You’re drunk.”
Simon "Ghost" Riley
Your liquor-addled brain tells you to do it.
Across the bar is danger, the kind you want to play with—to sink your teeth into. Why resist temptation when it’s clear that the masked man across the bar can’t seem to take his eyes off you? Every time you glance in his direction, his gaze is focused and intense, daring you to approach him.
Which is exactly what you do.
He follows your every step, even if there is a slight sway in the way you walk. As you approach, he leans back in his chair, legs widening as if in welcome. It’s easy to reach out, to place your hand on his shoulder, to straddle his thighs, and stare into his eyes.
“You’ve been staring at me all night,” you slur. “Plan on going home with anyone?”
“I am,” the masked man replies.
“And who might that be?”
“My wife.”
You turn in his lap, looking around at all the other patrons in the bar. “Don’t see her.”
“Course you don’t,” he chuckles. “Because she’s sitting in my lap.”
You blink. “Is she?”
“You’re my wife,” he whispers.
“I am…aren’t I?”
He shakes his head. “I’m cutting you off.”
Kyle "Gaz" Garrick
The alcohol is an enabler. You shouldn’t have had as many drinks as you did, but this is a party, and you’re not the one driving.
Why not have a bit of fun?
“Hi.”
Kyle arches an eyebrow. “Hi,” he replies, drawing out the greeting in slight confusion.
You cozy up next to him, shoulder brushing against shoulder.
“So,” you begin, head tilting toward him like you’re about to whisper all your secrets. “I’m going to be a bit bold…”
“Go on.”
“But I think you’re cute. Wanted to know if you’re seeing anyone.”
Kyle’s single raised eyebrow becomes two. There’s a long pause, so long that you notice the absence of conversation.
Kyle’s confusion cracks, becoming a wide smile, followed by his adorable, familiar laughter. “You’re taking the piss, love.”
“I’m not joking.”
He laughs harder, clutching his chest like he can’t breathe.
“I’m your husband,” he manages to say between wheezing breaths.
“I know,” you reply. “Just checking to make sure you’re still loyal.”
He waves his hand in the air before him. “You’ve had enough. Give me that.” He plucks your beverage right out of your hands.
“Excuse me,” you protest, but Kyle is already downing it.

Kaia’s POV
The dial tone wasn’t unfamiliar when it came to my relationship with Jude. Over the past few years, phone calls between us have been the main way of communicating with my best friend. With him away in either Germany or Spain, or with myself at my home in Surrey, or away on a film set somewhere, phone calls or long text threads were the best I could get.
But this call was different. Jude was finally back home in England. Not for long, just for a week or so during the winter break in the Spanish season. It just so happened that I had made the journey up from Surrey to be home with my family for Christmas, so it was only a matter of time before I picked up my phone, ready to call him.
“Hello?” I heard at the other end of the line when Jude picked up. “Who’s this? The number kinda looked like this girl who last spoke to me about three weeks ago, but, you know, I could be mistaken.”
“Jude,” I say, deadpan. “I swear to God, the day you answer a phone call in a somewhat normal way, that’s when I’ll know the aliens have invaded.”
“I find offence in the fact that’s not the first time you’ve referred to aliens when talking about me,” his smirk was obvious through the way he spoke, it’s not like I’d never heard him speak that way before. “Anyway, stranger, what’s up? Miss my pretty face?”
“Always. But no, I need you to come over,” I stand up from where I was lying on my bed and walk over to my desk, taking a seat on the chair in front of it.
“You need me to, huh? You should’ve said, Baby, I’d have been over already.”
“Jesus,” I pinch the bridge of my nose, slumping further back into the chair in feigned annoyance.
“My name’s Jude, actually, but close enough.”
“Please, Jude. I need to tell you something,” I twist my body, swinging the desk chair side to side a little, nerves creeping up to my heart, which is pounding in my chest.
“God, I love it when you beg,” Jude whispers, voice a little more serious than it had been before. “Sorry, uhm, I’ll be over in ten. See you soon, Darling.”
****
*knock knock knock*
“FBI, open up!” Jude yells, in the worst American accent I might’ve ever heard (and I’ve been an actor my whole life so I’ve heard some terrible ones), from the other side of my door. He swings the door open, and his beaming face is the first thing I see when he’s revealed.
I furrow my brows, staring at him with a disappointed look on my face for a few seconds. “Remind me, Jude, why the fuck are we friends?”
Jude places his hand against his chest, mouth open in fake, way too dramatic, offence. “Because we love each other, duh? Did you like it, though? It’s like that show you like, Criminal Brains or whatever it’s called.” He throws himself onto the bed beside me, landing on his stomach, before pushing up onto his forearms, leaning in towards me with only one thing on his mind.
“No,” I whisper, my hand gently placed on his collarbone as I push him back. “I need to talk to you first.”
“Oh,” Jude says with a nod. He grabs one of the many pillows on my bed and tucks it under his head, getting into a more comfortable position so he can look at me properly. Before Jude speaks, I see a look pass across his face, one that I can read instantly. “It’s serious enough that you don’t want to kiss me? Okay,” he drags out the vowels, chocolate brown eyes landing on mine, and at that moment I can do nothing but stare into them.
My eyes flutter away from his, too scared to look at him during what I’m about to tell him, the weight of his gaze upon me enough to knock my mind off balance.
“We can’t do this anymore,” I say softly, lips barely moving, but they fall loud and clear upon Jude’s ears.
“We can’t do what anymore?” He knows. I knew he’d know what I would tell him when I refused to kiss him. But that’s what Jude is like, he is always going to give me space to tell him in my own time. He knows that’s how I want this to go.
“Whatever we’ve been doing for the past however many years,” it’s then when I look at him, the image of his face etched into my brain of what I imagined he looked like in the moment, and I wasn’t wrong.
Jude shakes his head, breaking eye contact, his jaw tight, before looking right back at me. “Why?”
“I have a boyfriend.” Silence washes over the room. Only sounds of our breathing can be heard and the ruffling of the bedding when I shift my body towards Jude. “We, uhm, we met on set a few months back and we hit it off, so… yeah. We’re now together.”
I give Jude a tight-lipped smile. He nods slowly in response, eyes wandering around my room. “I’m happy for you.” There it is. Four simple words, but they’re exactly what I expected him to say. He is so predictable.
“So,” Jude slaps his thighs as he moves to sit up, almost falling backwards due to the lack of support from the mattress underneath him, but his strong core just about manages to complete the manoeuvre. “What’s your mom cooking?”
“A roast, but ab-”
“A roast? Oh, get in, I fucking love your mom’s roasts. Don’t tell my mom but, if I’m being completely honest, I prefer your mom’s Yorkshire puddings,” he smiles, but I can tell in the way he’s moving, his body language, the way his eyes can’t hold contact with mine for longer than three seconds, that he’s trying to distract himself from everything that’s going through his mind. “Mine does do better roast potatoes, though. They’re crispier.”
“Jude,” I say sharply, placing a hand on his thigh in an attempt to bring him back to reality a little, as I stare at his heaving chest. “Slow the fuck down, yeah?” My stare is wide and long as my hand moves up and down his thigh, the only thing separating our skin are his grey sweatpants. “Take a breath, next time.”
He nods, his hand instinctually moving to grasp mine, giving it a gentle squeeze before letting it go, knowing that if he held on any longer he wouldn’t want to let go at all. “Quick question,” his eyes meet mine. “Why are we having a roast when you’re coming round mine for Christmas dinner in three days?”
I shrug. “Think of it as a pre-roast. You know how my mum gets when she’s not hosting, she can’t sit still to save her life, the roast dinner is just a product of that.”
“Cool,” Jude nods. “Two roast dinners in a week is a lot better than all the nutritional shit I have to eat throughout the season, anyway.”
I let out a quiet laugh, pulling my hand out from underneath his. “Anyway,” I take a deep breath. “As I was trying to say, about the dinner, Noah, my boyfriend, is coming over to eat with us.”
“Okay,” Jude’s voice fades out as he says, a confused look on his face.
“I mean,” I tell him. “It’s up to you, you can stay and meet him if you want, I don’t mind. Like I understand if you don’t want to, but, like I said, it’s completely up to you.”
Jude scoffs. “And like I said, I want that roast dinner. Of course, I’m staying.”
“Right then, I get up from my bed, stretching and letting out a yawn, catching Jude looking at the sliver of my belly that appears when I raise my hands over my head. “We best get downstairs and set the table, because we both know that sister of mine won’t have done it.”
****
“You do know you have legs, right?” I say to my fifteen-year-old sister, Olivia, as soon as I enter the dining room only to find that the table hadn’t already been set like I had previously hoped.
My sister only lets out a grunt and shrugs at my words.
“You alright, Liv?” Jude grabs the coasters, placing one in front of each chair, making sure to count one extra than usual for Noah.
Olivia gives Jude the same grunt as the one that she gave me.
“Remember when we were like that?” I nudge Jude with my elbow, setting up everyone’s cutlery.
“What, when we hated everyone and everything that wasn’t on our phones? Yeah, that was rough,” a reminiscent look passes across Jude’s face before I slap him in the tummy with the placemats.
“Come on, slacker, you going to put them down before I whack you round the head with them, or what?” I giggle, making my way into the kitchen to see if my mum needs any help.
I see Jude smile at me over my shoulder as he watches me walk away. “You alright, Mum? Need help with anything?”
“No, I’m alright, thanks, Love. You go and sit down, I’ll bring the food through in a bit,” she flashes a smile at me before opening the oven up, and checking on the beef and potatoes.
I turn on my heel, walking back into the dining room when my little brother appears at the doorway. “Judey!” he yells as soon as he spots my best friend.
My youngest sibling, Leo, runs at Jude, causing him to stop everything he’s doing before he leans down to pick up the little boy.
“Hello, little man, how are you doing?” Jude squeezes him as tight as he can. In the time that Jude and Leo had known each other, which was the entirety of Leo’s seven years on the planet, they had built up an amazing relationship. Leo considered Jude to be one of his best friends and even went as far as saying that Jude loved him more than me. If he only knew.
“I’m not too good,” I watch as Leo pouts up at Jude after he’s placed him back on the ground.
“Why not, Kid?” Jude’s brows furrow, continuing his work setting the table while also giving the small boy as much attention as he can.
“I’ve been doing my homework all day because Mummy said I had to and if I didn’t I wouldn’t be able to play Roblox later.”
“Well, we can’t be having that, can we?” Jude smiles when Leo shakes his head and lets out a heavy sigh. “So, did you get it all done?”
“I did,” Leo nods, a proud smile on his face.
“Good kid,” Jude ruffles his hair before he spots me, leaning against the doorframe, watching their interaction.
“Go and take a seat, Leo,” soft thuds against the floor can be heard as he runs to his chair next to his older sister. “Mum says dinner will be ready soon.”
I sit down in my usual spot, with Jude going to take the seat right next to me before changing his mind and walking around the table to sit in the seat directly across from me instead.
Jude and I engage in barely thirty seconds of conversation before it’s broken up by the sound of the doorbell ringing. I feel my expression change immediately, to one full of nerves. Jude notices that immediately, watching me in anticipation as I get up from my seat.
“That’ll be him,” I say, leaving no room for Jude to reply because I’m out of the room in seconds, making my way towards the door.
“Hey, Babe,” Noah says in his thick American accent as soon as I open the door.
I move to the side, signalling for him to come in. “Hi,” I say, my words a lot more muted than the bubbly voice that he’s used to.
Noah shrugs his coat off as he steps inside and I grab it from him, turning to hang it on one of the hooks beside the door. He leans down, pressing a quick kiss on my lips. “You okay?” His brows furrow together as he analyses my face.
“Yeah,” I nod, smiling up at him. “There’s someone here I’d like you to meet,” I tell him, leading him into the dining room after about a minute of being gone.
As soon as Noah and I enter the room, I notice Jude look Noah up and down the moment his eyes land on him. He takes in his outfit, his tanned skin and his blonde hair. I can practically see the moment where he acknowledges that he’s not my type, no that that matters, he doesn’t know my type to be anything other than himself.
“Noah,” I turn to him, a slight smile on my face. “You’ve already met my brother and sister,” I can feel Jude watching me as I point at the kids beside him. I can also see his face change slightly, most likely to show his disdain at the fact that I let Noah into my house before ever telling him about our relationship. “And this,” My gaze falls upon Jude, prompting Noah to look at him for the first time this evening. “Is Jude. My best friend.”

2/1 A: I told my friend I would go on this stupid date/this is my problem why? with Chibs requested by @privatetruths As always 18+
You had barely stepped out of your car before Tig Trager was pouncing. His blue eyes full of mischief and lust as he looked you up and down. A playful smirk on his face as his wild black curls swayed in the breeze that had your skirt starting to billow. “I need to talk to the Scot” you stated firmly as you barely managed to keep your skirt down.
“Aww, come on Doll. I can give the cops daughter a better time” purred Tig as he batted his eyes at you making your roll your eyes before shouldering past him.
Stepping into the Teller-Morrow garage you pushed your sunglasses on top of your head as your eyes adjusted to the light.
“To what do we owe the pleasure of the local Sheriffs daughter? Daddy doesn’t have someone on the payroll for his babygirls car?” sassed Chibs, disdain dripping with each word. To say a love hate relationship had formed between you and the Sons was an understatement. The last time you had been here had ended with a raid of not only the clubhouse but all their homes. A night of fun and rebellion for you had landed them in serious hot water with your father.
“You don’t have to be a dick. It’s not my fault my dad overreacted” you snapped as you crossed your arms as you glared at him. Mentally kicking yourself for not containing your fiery temper when you were here to ask a favor.
Chibs chuckled as he wiped his hands of grease. “I think you and I have very different versions of fault and how to be accountable Lassie”.
You sighed before slumping down into a metal chair. “Look. I know ya’ll hate me. I get it. It was stupid of me to have used ya’ll in my little rebellion plan. I knew it would get a reaction but I didnt expect him to go nuclear with ya’ll. You stated looking down at your feet before looking back up at him as he leaned against the car he had been working on.
“Whats this got to do with me?” asked Chibs curiously.
“My friend is going on a date with this guy she just met. And I’m the only one in the group single now….and I told them I wasn’t cause they were teasing and shit, trying to hook me up with this loser of a guy. Ughh this is so stupid. I told them I would go on a double date as proof” you rambled out as you looked anywhere but at eh man in front of you.
“And why is this my problem?” laughed Chibs roughly as he turned back to the car again.
“Cause I told them I was dating a SON……and older man……with an accent” you replied quietly daring a glance up at him at the end. His eyes meeting yours with something in them you couldn’t quite place.
Chibs looked back to the car. Silently considering your words as he feigned interest in something on the engine. You were about to give up and leave, maybe try it out with Tig when Chibs finally spoke.
“Don’t know Lassie. I’m not a man who likes to be played with.” Stated Chibs his eyes still on the engine. “Besides I don’t need your father busting in and cutting my dick off and sending me to Stockton” he added with a shake of his head. “Yer pretty but not worth the risk Lass” he added before moving to the office.
You couldn’t help but flinch at his words. They cut terribly and hurt more than you expected. While you understood, you couldn’t help but fill challenged and you were not above begging.
“Wait!” you called as you hopped up and ran in front of him. Grabbing the front of his uniform you dropped to your knees. “I’ll do anything if you say yes” you whispered eyes on his as you started to fumble with his belt.
You almost had his boxers down before hands grabbed yours. “No need for this” stated Chibs looking over your shoulder at Tig and Gemma who stood watching. Your cheeks burned with shame as you followed his gaze. What the hell were you thinking? “I’ll do it. Just get up and have some dignity Lass” rumbled Chibs as he stepped back from you and walked out of the garage.
Three Days Later
Chibs would never admit it but he was actually having a decent time with you. Though he would love if the other couple would leave, they had done nothing but bicker the whole time. You and Chibs had exchanged secret smiles and texts about how bad a match they were. Things got worse and your friend excused herself to the bathroom as tears started to slip, you had gone after her.
When you both returned your friends date and his food were gone and Chibs looked apologetic as he looked at your friend. Chibs had been very gentle in his explanation that her date had got his food to go and left. Wanting Chibs to pass on a message that they were done and not to contact him. Your friend had been inconsolable and Chibs had gotten all of your food packaged up and taken care of the bill as you held her. He even had one of his club brothers swing by to drive her home since the two of you had ridden on his bike.
“Wanna come in and finish dinner? I have beer in the fridge” you offered as he pulled into your driveway.
“I don’t” started Chibs before you shot him a pout.
“Please” you dragged out “I wanna make this night not as miserable for you” you begged.
“Fine. One beer and we finish dinner then I’m leaving” stated Chibs firmly as he got off his bike.
“Deal” you stated eagerly as you clapped your hands and moved to the front door making him chuckle.
"So much for just dinner and a beer" you laughed as Chibs flopped over next to you on your kitchen floor. Both of you out of breath and sweaty from the feral fucking you had just endured.
"Well had to see what else that mouth could do besides cause trouble" replied Chibs as he pulled you on top of him. His cock already hardening again as you ground against him. "Also figured I might as well go all the way with the Sheriffs daughter" he added before groaning as you slid down his length, nails tracing his tattoos.

Yandere Bonten x Reader
~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^
The reader is Gender neutral in this!!
TW: Sewer slide attempt, attempt drug use,
Bonten Timeline, where Bonten has kept you in the penthouse for a LONG time, and out of spite from every horrible thing they have ever done, you decide not to speak to them out of resentment Bottling up all your emotions. Hoping that they will eventually grow bored of you and either let you go or finally end your suffering.
One day, in particular, everything that you had been bottling up has finally reached its breaking point...
~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^
“Y/N, go get your hairbrush on the bathroom counter please, I can tell you didn’t brush your hair this morning,” Kakucho said, sitting down on the couch right beside you.
Ever since Mikey said that he prefers your hair long, you were forced to grow it out. You can’t say you like it, but at least it hides all of the ugly marks on your neck and body from them…
Everyone else just goes with it; whatever Mikey says goes. It is unsure if the others like your hair as much as he does, but no matter what, they sure do act like it.
Getting up, then making your way to the main bathroom everyone uses, spotting the black brush, then grabbing it, and just as you were about to leave it caught your eye.
A little orange bottle with a white childproof cap. Slowly picking it up, you begin to realize that it is one of Sanzu’s many drugs. He must have left it here on accident, rushing for his mission today.
Bad day for him, but amazing for someone like yourself.
There is a good amount of pills in this container, and knowing Sanzu, only carrying around the ‘best’ (strongest) on him. He could drain this dry and it still wouldn’t be enough for someone like him.
This would be enough to kill any normal person, especially someone who has been clean for over a few years.
Slowly opening the cap, pouring the rest of the bottle in hand. Then quickly raise all of it to your mouth, only to have a hand grip your wrist.
You don't even need to turn to know who it is.
“I can’t even leave you alone for a minute before you end up doing something dangerous, put it down,” Kakucho says as he sighs. Physically, there is no chance against Kakucho.
Putting your arm down slightly to put the pills back in the bottle, while you are doing that, Kakucho’s grip softens little by little.
Once the cap is closed, you turn to look at him dazed.
“I won’t tell anyone… but if I catch you doing that again, I’m telling everyone,” he says, as he takes the pill bottle. Nodding your head yes, you just grab the brush as you both walk back to the couch.
After settling down, he starts to brush your hair. “Honestly what were you thinking? Did you just want to be on drugs or something, or was that a serious attempt?” he asks, sighing again.
“Listen I know that you hate your life here. But is it truly that bad? You can have whatever you want, having Kokonoi and Takeomi buy you anything you could dream, Sanzu would literally do anything for you, Mocchi would always listen to your rants when you talked, Ran and Rindou well they argue a lot but are fun to watch too… I try my best… even if you don’t see it…” his words are slow and cold.
“I admit that I am just as guilty as the rest of them, and everything we do is for your safety… even if you don't think it is… that is the truth…You may despise us for the rest of your life, but as long as we can keep you safe, that is what matters…” At this point, he seems to be pouring his heart out…
Sadden asks, “Do you hate me…? For doing all of this?” Shocked you shook your head no… Kakucho did nothing… all he ever did was follow orders, even if he hurt you and others, he is not to blame, you know that he feels guilty for everything he has done. After all, you have always felt slight empathy towards Kakucho, he is the kindest out of all of Bonten.
“Will you please talk to me again,” He begs more than questions, you just shrug, leaving that as that. “Is life better now, than when it was when you first was brought here?” he asks, you reply with a simple nod. “That’s good at least, although I can imagine that it was like hell, the first few days,” he responds. Try the first few weeks…
After a good handful of questions, he pauses for a few seconds like he is thinking, confused, you tilted your head back and looked at him. Suddenly it is like the lightbulb rang for him.
“Would you be willing to respond to me, with more specific answers, if I have you write it down? That way you wouldn’t have to speak?” he says, nodding your head yes. He rushes out of the room to grab something.
When he is back, he has an iPad in hand, pulling out the stylist pen, he gives the pen to you as he sits on the couch. Looking at the Ipad it is already in drawing mode. “Now… why don’t you talk?” he asks.
‘I wanted to punish you guys for everything you ever did to me. I thought if you guys assumed I was broken, maybe I would find a way, to not live like this, even a peaceful death would be ideal.’
When he was reading this you could tell that he was stunned unsure of how to respond he just asked another question. “How long are you going to keep this up?”
You write, ‘Until I can be free, or at least have some freedom’
“I can talk with Mikey…” You both know that the conversation will be a waste of time for both Kakucho and Mikey, but he can still try if he wants to.
‘You’re a good person Kakucho, compared to everyone else you have the most empathy. Plus you only follow orders, due to your loyalty. I know you mean no harm to me, even if it is for better or worse, truthfully if it was just you and me I would talk to you.’ You wrote down.
“What do you mean? We are alone,” he states. Just two words I write down, ‘security cameras’ After he reads that he says, “Oh I forgot about that…,” as he looks up around the room looking at the cameras.
“I know you think we are being excessive with everything, but you have to know, we are doing everything we can to protect you… we know everything about you… there are no secrets that are kept between us…” He takes a longing pause. He is quiet… too quiet, Shit you have a bad feeling about this…
He sighs thinking, then turns to you. “Y/N… you know that Bonten made a pact to keep no secrets, and to take care of you… and today you just tried to overdose with Sanzu’s drugs… This is not just a small secret I would be hiding from them. This is about your life you could have died today if I wasn’t there to catch you... I’m sorry but I will have to tell them. I care about you and your safety… this is something I can’t hide from them.” he says looking down in shame.
This fucker… If he tells them you would be on a tighter leash than before. Things would be like how they were when they first took me. There is no way in hell you are starting back at the bottom. You have worked your way by playing nice, then the silent treatment, which they all hate. If you are back at the bottom it will take months til you can just freely walk around this building.
You know what… Fuck it you had already told him too much if you go out... You're going out with a bang. This is just a lot to grasp… This is to be expected from Sanzu, Ran, Mochi… But Kakucho?... Kakucho is too loyal for his own fucking good.
Blinded by rage, standing up you yell. “You’re Just As Fucked Up As The Rest Of Them,” After saying it is weird… your voice doesn’t sound like your voice, it is weak, and not as loud as you would have wanted to say it… Fuck... You messed up your vocal cords.
Looking at Kakucho in a brief second, he is taken aback. Your voice shocked him and yourself. Just wanting to leave and go into the bedroom.
However... As you turn you see the rest of the Bonten members, standing by the door, in pure shock. That gives you enough information, to know that they heard you.
Well, fuck….
A few moments of silence fall upon us until you finally dare to try to walk away. Only taking a few steps before a voice was heard. “Hold on Y/N, come over,” Great and that was Mikey…
You are immediately making your way infront of him and the group. “You talk to Kakucho, but not me,” he says voice filled with hurt. Should you dig myself deeper into this mess?
“I’m sorry, Mikey…” you weakly manage out, after yelling at Kakucho, you need to rest my vocal cords, your voice is hoarse, and it hurts so much the others can tell, to the point some flinch once they hear. But it doesn’t matter, you could be feeling the worst pain ever, and as long as you're alive and breathing they would be okay with that.
“So what? That is all you have to say? We heard you talk, give up your little tantrum, and talk to us, I knew you would break… longer than I anticipated but you still broke,” Ran says, wanting to hear you talk, after not hearing your voice for over a few years, judging the room they all want to hear it too.
Did this Bitch not just hear me talk? What else would he want me to say? Is he truly such a fucking sadist that he wants to hear me struggle to talk? you begin to think.
Well, in that case, you plan on saying something to him loud and clear.
“You know what? Fuck you Ran, I have been wanting to say that for so long now, you are such a manipulative shit, you really think I didn’t see through all your bullshit, how you think of yourself as a god… you think you are so great… you are just a sadist, who cheats, and contributes to nothing…. It is only because of your ‘respect’ which was beating up kids younger than you, were you feared, without beating up helpless kids, you ought to be nothing, you would still be at the bottom of Roppongi in jail, with all of the failures,” you say holding my throat, trying not to breathe hard.
“Calm down Y/N, you know it is just Ran being Ran,” You are not sure if Rindou is being sincere in saying this or saying this just to shut you up. At this point you don’t give a fuck, you're already pissed.
“You think you’re any better Rindou? the only reason people see you as a nice person is that everyone compares you to Ran. Since I can remember people have been blinded by Ran, all overlooking just how cruel, and cold-hearted you are. You are just a follower, doing whatever Ran tells you to do, following blindly behind him. To the point where all you will ever be… is your big brother’s shadow…” Your voice is getting softer and softer, Shit, you worry, just how much longer will you still be able to talk?
“Your voice is getting worse, stop talking Y/N,” Kokonoi says concerned.
“You wanna be next?” You ask “Because you-,” Just like that, you couldn’t even finish your sentence before starting a coughing fit. After catching your breath, and notice just how sore your throat is, feeling like the after-effect of overusing it, pained to the point where it hurts to breathe.
Seeing your vision start to blur, starting to tear up. You have no idea why… What is wrong with you? Is it the pain? Or are you just being emotional all of a sudden? Why do they all have to be here? Do they think you're weak now? What is wrong with everything? How did things end up like this?...
Feeling arms wrap around you. Freezing, but then recognizing it is Kakucho. Even when you curse at him, he is here comforting you. You can’t hate him but you can’t love him. All you can do is accept him, and that is exactly what you did, at that moment.
Breathing out a breath, you didn't realize that you were holding. Relaxing your shoulders, and body, turning into his chest, not being able to handle all of their cruel stares. No matter how hard you try, tears won't stop falling…You can just feel their eyes burning your back.
“What are you guys all staring at? You all are acting like children watching a movie, Y/N has never shown any emotion for over a year, and when they finally do, all you guys plan to do is watch. They are breaking down in Kakucho’s arms,” Akashi says, breaking the tension and silence.
Always count on Akashi to be an adult when situations become grim.
“We’ll all talk together on the couch…” Mikey says, hearing his footsteps go, and the others follow behind him, as they fade. You feel Kakucho gently push you, away from him.
“Ready to follow?” he whispers. Nodding your head yes, as you slowly walk to the coach, Everyone is sitting down, and Mikey motions you to sit between him and Akashi the only other two that can keep a calm mind, no matter what goes down.
At this point, you've stopped crying, but your nose and eyes were still red, and once you sat down all hell broke loose.
“I think that Y/N should get punished for talking to me like that,” “They are hurting enough, what they said was nothing, compared to what your victims say to you,” “And I kill them for it,” “Stop being such a big baby Ran, just man up,” “Oh I know you did not just tell me to ‘man up’, being the only one that doesn’t even get their hands dirty,” “Oh? Do you want your little allowance cut?” “I swear to God, Koko if you-”
“Enough,” Mikey says, everyone is still, no one dares disobey the leader after all.
Mikey then looks at Akashi signaling something, then Akashi looks at you. Confused you wait until he says.
“Now Y/N I know you're in pain, but what you said to Ran and Rindou was uncalled for, completely immature, and you knew that were their… weak points, you need to apologize to them,” Akashi says, careful of his words.
“I’m sorry… Rindou… Ran,” you say looking down, in a low tone, your voice still scratchy.
“What was that? It was hardly sincere and he could at least talk loud enough for me to understand,” Ran complains.
Seeing Akashi give you a look, you knowingly sigh. Looking up at Ran in the eyes, hatefully “I'm sorry… Ran” louder, hearing the anger and strain almost raspyness. Then turning to his brother, calming yourself, you softly say “Sorry,” being earnest.
Just as the older brother is about to say something, Akashi cuts him off saying “Ran,” in a warning tone. Ran ends up rolling his eyes, and he leans back more on the couch.
“Now Y/N…” You hear Mikey say, grabbing everyone's attention.
“Do you or Kakucho want to explain what happened today? Especially for you to lose your temper like that?” He asks intrigued about what happened, he has not normally shown this much emotion for quite some time, putting everyone more on edge.
Looking at Kakucho in a warning, begging way, for him not to tell them. Kokonoi, being the observant person he is notices. “Oh? It must be good to have you looking at Kakucho like that…” Right when Koko says that all the other's eyes are on you. Fuck…. Just great…. you think.
Looking down, ignoring their stares, waiting for Kakucho to say something.
“Today, Y/N went to the bathroom to grab their hairbrush… they were taking a bit longer than normal… so I went to see what the problem was… and when I looked in the room…” He pauses, feeling uncomfortable.
“Well hurry up what happened?” “It can’t be ‘that’ bad… can it?” “Just spit it out already,” “Kakucho…” Mikey says softly, not demanding, but reassuring, and manipulative… he can be gentle.. When he wants to…
Kakucho then takes out the pill bottle, tossing it to Sanzu only for it to be caught, by Akashi. “I found him about to take the rest of the pills in the bottle,” he finally says. Sanzu starts to pale, knowing he’s in trouble.
Everyone else, looks at Sanzu, like they're about to kill him… I wouldn’t be against that…
“The rest of these you say Kakucho? Sanzu…Just 5 at once would have killed them… Nevertheless the rest of this bottle… you were careless…" Akashi says looking at Sanzu, but then he continues.
"Almost getting Y/N killed… But then again... Who knew,” he says now turning to you.
”They would be so suicidal,”
(IDK HOW TO END THIS... PLZ LMK IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS;))

Thirteen | Kim Chaewon
"I want you to be ruined, I won't hold you You were my yesterday" - 한(一) (HANN (Alone)) by (G)I-DLE
y/n y/l/n are we still hanging out tdy?
huh yunjin (01) omg baby i hv to finish sum writing w chaewon
y/n y/l/n ofc u do that's fine. i'll js find sum else to do then
huh yunjin (01) don't be mad i'll make it up to u i swear
y/n y/l/n k.
you sat on a bench outside the library, mindlessly scrolling through your phone, trying to ignore the bitter feeling bubbling in your chest. this wasn't new. yunjin blowing you off at the last minute? normal. yunjin blowing you off for chaewon? even more normal.
you took a deep breath, telling yourself you didn't care. you already knew the truth. you weren't mad—you were just over it.
just as you were about to put your phone away, the sound of approaching footsteps made you look up. and, of course, it had to be her.
kim chaewon.
"oh, hey y/n," she greeted, her tone light, but her eyes sharp as she slid onto the bench beside you, uninvited.
you didn't respond, just locked your phone and slipped it into your pocket.
she tilted her head, a small smirk forming on her lips. "didn't know you had classes in this building."
"i don't," you replied flatly. "just needed a place to sit before meeting up with someone."
"oh? who?" she asked, feigning curiosity.
"not important. i was just about to leave, though," you said, shifting as if to stand.
chaewon hummed, clearly unbothered. "well, i was just about to meet up with yunjin... for the project, of course."
you almost rolled your eyes. she knows.
"oh, that's nice," you replied, voice carefully even.
"yeah, just some finishing touches left, but we're pretty much done."
you glanced at her. "okay? have fun, then."
"i'll let her know i saw you out here," chaewon smiled.
you leaned back slightly, a smirk of your own forming. "oh, and while you're at it, let her know i'm about to meet up with nien. we've still got a bit to work on too."
something flickered across chaewon's face, but she recovered quickly. "i'll do that," she said smoothly.
before you could respond, her phone buzzed. she glanced at the screen, and just like that, her smirk deepened. you didn't need to ask who it was.
"well, i gotta go," she said, standing up and stretching. then, with one last look at you, she added, "just make sure you and nien stay focused on the project, like me and yunjin are."
you watched as she walked away, leaving you alone. once this is over, they'd regret ever thinking you were stupid.
you sat there for a few moments, still processing the interaction, disbelief settling in like a heavy weight on your chest. did that really just happen?
before you could spiral any further, your phone buzzed.
seoyeon 🐶u wanna hang out with me and dahyun?
perfect timing. you needed a distraction after whatever chaewon just did to you.
without hesitation, you grabbed your things and headed to meet them. the second you walked in and spotted them at the table, you wasted no time sitting down.
"god, i fucking hate chaewon," you grumbled, slamming your phone down on the table.
seoyeon and dahyun, who had just walked in, exchanged confused looks before seoyeon asked, "what did chaewon do?"
"she's just a fucking bitch, and i wouldn't usually say that about another woman, but she pisses me off so much," you huffed, crossing your arms.
"i know she's a little goofy, but i wouldn't go as far as to call her a bitch," seoyeon said, raising an eyebrow.
"oh, trust me, she is," you insisted.
dahyun tilted her head. "what did she do to make you feel this way?"
"i can't get into it right now, but let's just not associate with her."
seoyeon hesitated before sighing. "look, i'd love to support you on this if you're serious, but i don't know if we can just cut chaewon off, considering our circumstances."
you blinked, finally realizing they thought you were talking about the chaewon in your friend grou, also one of their roommates.
"no, not our chaewon," you clarified quickly. "i hate kim chaewon."
their confusion only deepened; you forgot they even had the same surname.
"as in our senior chaewon, the one in my videography group," you added. "not the strawberry farmer y'all live with," you finished hoping that cleared everything up.
"the chaewon in my videography group," you added. "not strawberry farmer chaewon."
both of them exhaled in relief, "oh, thank god. i thought our whole friend group was over," dahyun muttered, placing a hand over her heart.
"be more specific next time," seoyeon scolded.
"it's not my fault they have the exact same name," you argued, throwing your hands up.
"that is true," dahyun leaned back in her chair.
"anyways, how have y'all's day been?" you finally asked, deciding to shift the focus away from yourself for now.
"i did nothing today, so it's been pretty nice," dahyun told you.
"i mean, i had work early this morning and a class, but it wasn't terrible," seoyeon added with a shrug.
you nodded, absentmindedly spinning your phone on the table. "sounds like a solid day."
"i see yours hasn't been great, though. would you like to share with the class?" dahyun pressed, raising an eyebrow.
you exhaled, shaking your head. "not really, but give me a couple of days, and i'll tell you everything."
dahyun scoffed. "you're hyping this up so much. i need to know what your drama is."
"oh, trust," you smirked, leaning in slightly. "it won't disappoint."
seoyeon and dahyun exchanged looks before dahyun sighed dramatically. "fine, i'll wait. but if it's not the messiest shit i've ever heard, i'm gonna be so mad."
seoyeon chuckled. "we'll hold you to that."
you simply smiled to yourself, knowing that when the time came, they'd have a lot to say.
huh yunjin (01) are u done being mad? can we talk now
don't ignore me yk that annoys me
y/n y/l/n i wasn't. i was busy hanging out with seoyeon & dahyun
huh yunjin (01) are u mad at me?
y/n y/l/n no. why would i be?
huh yunjin (01) cause ur using periods
y/n y/l/n a period ends a sentence.
huh yunjin (01) see?? that's exactly what i'm talking about
y/n y/l/n what are you talking about?
huh yunjin (01) you're being dry u never text like this
y/n y/l/n i'm literally just texting normally.
huh yunjin (01) no ur not u mad fr, aren't u?
y/n y/l/n i told u i'm not mad.
huh yunjin (01) then why does it feel like u are? 😭 did i do something?
y/n y/l/n yunjin. i'm not mad.
huh yunjin (01) then prove it. let's call
y/n y/l/n i'm literally walking home huh yunjin (01) and? ur phone still works js call me for like 5 secs pls
y/n y/l/n fine. one sec.
huh yunjin (01) that's my baby
"hello?" you answered when yunjin picked up.
"wow, you actually called. i honestly thought you were just gonna leave me hanging," she teased.
you exhaled slowly, already regretting this. "you were being annoying, so i figured i'd call before you flooded my phone with even more texts."
yunjin laughed, light and carefree, like nothing was wrong. "see? you do sound mad."
you stared at the wall, biting your tongue. "oh my god, i'm not mad."
"mhmm... sounds like something a mad person would say," she said in that playful tone she always used.
"yunjin."
"okay, okay, i'll stop. but for real, are you sure you're good?" she asked, her voice softening.
good? never. you wanted to say instead, you forced out a casual, "i was just busy. seoyeon and dahyun wanted to hang out, and i didn't want to be glued to my phone the whole time."
yunjin gasped dramatically. "you mean to tell me i'm not your top priority at all times?"
"unfortunately, no." you kept your voice light, even though your grip on the phone tightened. "but don't worry, you'll live."
"ugh, barely. my heart shattered a little, but i'll survive," she sighed dramatically.
you let out a small chuckle. "you're so dramatic."
"see, this is why i was blowing up your phone," she said, her voice soft and warm. "i miss you."
"i miss you too," you murmured, the words feeling hollow as they left your lips.
"you do? say it again," she grinned through the phone.
you swallowed down the bitterness rising in your throat. "no."
yunjin whined. "okay, okay, i'll let you go... but don't you dare ignore me like that again. or i'll show up at your place unannounced."
"sounds like a threat," you said with a small laugh.
"it is a threat. love you though," she said, and it almost sounded real. almost.
"love you too," you replied, even though you weren't sure if you meant it anymore.
"awwww wait, say it one more time!" yunjin giggled.
you didn't even bother responding this time. you just ended the call.
huh yunjin (01) Y/N HELLO WHY DID U HANG UP COME BACK
y/n y/l/n busy. talk l8r
huh yunjin (01) oh ok hmu when ur free

Hi! In all fairness i see where you're coming from, I'm a big disliker of most arcane criticism because they tend to ignore the good stuff about the show, this post was more of like a "damn thats a shame" after the arcane hype/hate died down, but thats on me, i should've tagged my criticism better.
When I mean they never sit down and talk to each other, i mean they never really unpack stuff like why Jinx really saw Silco as a father figure and the good and bad he did for her, and Vi understanding Jinx's mourning. Or the hard times Vi went through in that prison cell and how that affected her mindset when she joined the enforcers or kept trying to push Powder's identity onto Jinx, or Vi feeling like her identity was lost after not being able to protect her family, or Vi admitting why she resented Jinx so much for taking her sister away, stuff like that. Essentially what is the core conflict of season 1.
The verbal fight in the mines was good relief for them, but it only scratched the surface of strictly the enforcer stuff and was kind of just sister-ly name calling (ie chickenshit tricks, ill kick your ass again). The girls are extremely emotionally constipated and a serious (non-lethal this time) verbal fight where they unload their very personal negative feelings from season 1 might have worked for them: Vi calling Jinx her biggest failure, Jinx maybe yelling back that Vi actually failed her, the deep cuts. But because so much has happened and they still inherently need each other they would go lick their wounds and come back together to talk about what they really meant.
Yes Vi saw Jinx's body being taken by Silco and she could've been two and two together after the fact, but it would've been cool to see that conversation where Jinx actually tells Vi what was done to her and her side of the story.
Jinx did realize Marcus took Vi away, but she didn't know that Vi was literally around the corner running back. She didn't know Marcus had to drug her and drag her away right when Silco found Jinx. Vi never told her her reasons for leaving and walking around the corner, which is what I originally meant, she never found out Vi was just trying to cool off. Jinx could've easily thought that Vi walked away and kept walking away until she started doubling back and Marcus jumped her, which isn't the same as 'Vi walked around the corner so she didn't hit Powder again and sat there for a little bit before she saw Powder in danger and came sprinting back and was knocked out."
I wouldn't call demanding a serious drama have a comedic character or demanding an action movie have a 10 minute paint scene a reasonable comparison because the characters in arcane do talk a lot and show emotional moments, the tea party scene was perfect in that regard. I don't think they needed to have all the emotional conversations in the world, they are again, very emotionally constipated and it would have been out of place, but they did had a lot of down time in the commune, and it would've been the perfect arena to have one big heavy conversation. Honestly I think they could've just expanded the conversation about their mom to also include everything else from season 1 they needed to talk about. Those little moments of "you actually want my opinion?" were so good, because it's the girls being vulnerable but not opening up all the way, which is in character for them. And I think handfuls of moments like that, where they're being awkward around each other and trying to quietly accommodate for the other sister until either it all boils over or they just start talking and can't stop; that would've been perfect. But the big thing about the commune conversation ("we could stay here") is that the problems they were working through also needed to be about what went down in season 1.
The core of season 1 is that they didn't understand each other. Time and imprisonment separated them for too long, and with everything else happening around them they miscommunicated, and that had fatal side effects. But season 2 is about them coming back together, but in order for that to happen they needed to talk about what went wrong in season 1, and it would've also made the ending for them hit harder in contrast, because it would mean they did at least get that closure in being able to finally understand each other in some semblance.
The season was also very different, with them leaning into the arcane, magic aspects of the show a lot heavier, with the multiverse travel and Viktor's jesus powers, going over their trauma in a quiet safe environment wouldn't have felt out of place because honestly season 2 isn't really a tragedy anymore. It has tragic moments, but a good amount of endings felt triumphant for the characters, even if it was self destructive. Plus the commune wasn't really safe anyway, so it would make those quiet moments hit harder.
This really is mostly just a list of "man it would've been cool if that happened" stuff though, overall I liked the season
The one thing about Arcane season 2 that I'm still a little bit mad about is that Vi and Jinx never really talked. They had a total of 2 conversations in season 1, one where they got interrupted and Jinx was never able to tell Vi what happened in the 7 years Vi was in prison, and the second where Vi still had no clue what was going on. But that's fine, miscommunication that befalls tragedy, it's intentional, and character-wise Jinx wasn't in that kind of headspace for that to happen. But then season 2 rolls around and at no point in season 2 did they sit down and talk about what went wrong, why they made the decisions they did, and try to understand each other. We never even got a loud fight where they unloaded all the negative feelings they had towards each other, or a quiet painful confession that they felt like failures towards each other. They had so much down time that we should've seen all that, the fight in the mines and the talk in the commune should've been that, but they only barely skimmed the surface. Did Vi even find out about Jinx being injected with shimmer? Did Jinx ever find out why Vi left her that night? No, they didn't, and that's just such a shame.
#sorry to anyone who follows me that has to scroll past this btw😬#long post#reblog#notart#yeah i think thats the gist of my feelings. i have a lot more but I thought id spare everyone from that lmao

ok but the fact that "aziraphale is softening. they haven't spoken in a hundred years: he's realizing they're still friends" and "there's no need to thank me that's what...friends...are for" was in the same night is making me go INSANE
#we NEED to talk more abt the 1941 ep im so serious im not normal about it like i had such high expectations and it suppressed them all.#am i disappointed there wasn't a rejection scene like i predicted?? yes ofc but also aziraphale said he did the apology dance that year so#i wonder what else could've fucking happened#but anyway. let's focus on what DID happen: aziraphale literally GLOWING with love in the car. crowley telling him to shut up cause of a#compliment. aziraphale helping crowley out and crowley looking at him like 'you'd do that for me?'. crowley not only letting aziraphale#practice magic with him but ACTIVELY playing a character to help him and i mean that scene was literally just crowley flirting with him#crowley indulging aziraphale by going to the magic shop with him and agreeing to participate in his show despite the fact that he NEVER EVEN#SHOT A GUN BEFORE. him just leafing thru the guidebook till he realizes there's a miracle blocker than starting to frantically flip thru it#her hands SHAKING on the gun and them being so afraid of hurting az. 'no paperwork :))' sure my guy that's what u r so happy about ofc#'but do u really think it went well' 'absolutely' with such sincerity. the book description saying smth abt ifa demon were to happen across#aziraphale they should report it immediately to the demon crowley. 'you could've just walked away' 'well you said 'trust me'' 'and you did'#its just. its one of my favorite eps it's so nice#good omens#azicrow#good omens s2#aziracrow#go s2 spoilers#go s2#good omens script book#good omens s2 spoilers#aziraphale x crowley
