There are times when I cringe a bit when finding McLennon comments on YT music videos and on other Beatles forums while I’m secretly high fives my peps. Then I read the other come back replies and see what they believe in. It’s so freaking obvious to me that they have no idea or no sudmit prove whatsoever if McLennon was real or not but based by their standard alone there’s more legit, actually reasons to believe Tumblrinas vs those oh the lyrics means nothing, they where like brothers, it's about Jane,Linda or Yoko. having a bit of a tough day, so a quick question for all the Steddie fic writers

y’all write the boys so beautifully, tenderly, and intimately, it never ceases to amaze me. one of the most common characterizations i see in the fics i read is how they’re essentially able to read each other’s thoughts, how they know what the other needs without even speaking it into existence, or one of them will be dealing with really bad anxiety and the other will go “i can hear you thinking too hard, baby” and stop the never ending stream of bad thoughts, etc.

as someone who’s never experienced anything this profound romantically (at least not mutual), i guess what i’m trying to say is… where do you draw from? does something so beautiful and intense actually exist? or is it all just projections of our own desires onto our comfort characters?
