Got a sudden urge to cry, literally out of nowhere, I was fine all day watching Gameplays and playing games, even got some writing done, I made food in the morning so I had a proper lunch and now I had a quick dinner, literally everything was completely fine up until 2 minutes ago... I use Spine (professional version)! I'm pretty sure it's the same program the Twst devs use for the chibis; I decided to try reverse-engineering 'em basically because my license was just sitting around gathering dust, and I thought it'd be fun practice (this was before I tried to rig Meleanor's cape). it is an industry-standard program and, unfortunately, is priced accordingly, so it's a bit expensive if you're not planning on using it professionally -- there is a free trial, though I think you can't save/export anything in it? BUT it is truly excellent and can do a ton of super cool stuff, plus is genuinely just fun to mess around in, so I 10000% recommend it to anyone who is serious about getting into 2D rigging!

Recreating Radar's bear, Tiger

Part 4 (finished bear on next post)

I painted the mouth of the muzzle and blended the tone into the sides that didn't get covered with apoxie sculpt. I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to paint the nose because while more recent photos of Tiger show very little coloring on it (left), the in-show nose has a more brown nose

After a few days I did decide to paint the nose with the appearance of some wear

The whole muzzle got a final coat of sealant (mrsuperclear matte)

Now the eyes gave me probably the most trouble. I originally bought a multipack of eyes but they were too small and I didn't like how domed most of the glass safety eyes in red were; 50s teddy bear eyes are a flatter disk shape moreso than semicircle. So I looked for rounded glass cabochons(?), and the initial ones I bought were wayyy larger than I thought so I bought two more sizes and one of those was a good fit. (This whole waiting on the correct size took like three weeks)

The eye was sanded so the paint could stick, and then I glued (e6000) a nose from the multipack (and a piece of scrap fabric to cover it) to the back. The glue did peel off some of the paint but round two had it looking how I wanted

The bear already had a hole where the previous eye was so I attached the backing and it was on to sewing him closed!

Tiger does not actually have a tail so I flipped this bears inside out. He then got stuffed (his heart containing his original stuffing is inside) and sewed closed. He got the final touches and ribbon tied on and he's done!

This is a selection of shows that I think would at least somewhat make sense if they crossed over with Miraculous and make an interesting special. So basically stories that take place in the modern "real" world and where the lore and rules of the world wouldn't completely break/clash with ML's (I think... I haven't seen most of these shows in a while 😅)

Okay, but I propose: Chris finds out that Eddie is literally trying to replace Shannon with a cheap replica, and he gets ANGRY. With no idea about the will, Chris demands he be allowed to go stay with his grandparents permanently. Eddie, feeling like he has no other choice after how badly he's hurt Christopher, agrees. Buck finds out that he's essentially being cut out of Christopher’s life without any say at all, and suddenly all of Eddie's words about Buck not being expendable and about trusting him most with Christopher feel like blatant lies.

Grian just crawling about Mumbo's base and redstone all the time is season 6 is really funny to me, and it only gets funnier from Mumbo's POV

Especially without the vicinity chat back then, it's just Grian silently invading his space and doing the most random of things (milking his cows, sitting in an AFK box with him, sleeping in his bed, just walking through his base like it's a hallway...) with no explanation whatsoever

Vecna’s plan requiring Mike to leave for California means nothing. The number 1 following Mike cryptically at the airport means nothing. Them barely giving us Mike’s perspective the last two seasons (despite him being the original protagonist) means nothing and it isn’t setting up his POV to be revealed in s5 bc the entire audience is completely comfortable with where Mike stands as a character in regards to his deeper feelings/motives. No confusion there so no need to address that. Mike saying How will I survive a whole week without you guys at the start of s4 wasn't foreshadowing his fate at the end of said week. Mike standing in front of exit signs 3+ times in s4 is probably just a coincidence. Mike being associated with gaping mouths in multiple moments spanning the entire series, even going back to his very first line on the show, means nothing at all. Nancy’s vision about her family (Mike) dying was mentioned at the end of s4, but it didn’t happen so probably won’t ever happen, even though there’s still another season left set directly after the events of s4. Will calling Mike the heart and how without heart they’d all fall apart, was not in any shape form foreshadowing something happening to Mike and them all falling apart, bc Mike is definitely just a prop and everything in relation to his story only holds meaning on the surface or for other characters arcs and couldn’t possibly be hinting at something deeper that’s being saved as one of the many surprises for the last season.

Me: I'm going to get back into writing fanfiction for a fun creative writing outlet, while I work on other humanities and social sciences in classwork :) Also me: Has now read at least one official medical study, multiple interest/support group and government reports, and several online testimonials re: House's possible amputation vs. non-narcotic pain treatments sans amputation, and now has a pretty good mental chart going of decidedly STEM things.

I have been tricked into researching STEM. Creative writing has betrayed me.

I’m starting this post with: Ted is wrong, “You’ve got Mail” is the superior movie. But that is not the point of this post.

The point is:

“I mean, Sleepless in Seattle is still a far superior film.”

“You gotta see Sleepless in Seattle though.”

Annie (Meg Ryan) is a reporter that one day hears Sam (Tom Hanks) on the radio. He’s a single dad, his wife died, and his son called into the radio show because he thinks his dad needs a new wife. Annie listens to it and she starts to realise that she’s not living the life she wants. She’s not sure she wants to marry her fiancé. She’s starts to fall for Sam because of the way he talks and what he talks about. (For those who haven’t watched the movie, do that, or read the Wikipedia page to get the whole story) she breaks up with her fiancé and her and Sam end up meeting at the top of the Empire State Building. He offers her his hand and she takes it and they walk into the lift and that’s where the movie ends.

Trent is a reporter who listens to what Ted is saying and he starts to like him because of it. He isn’t living the life he wants to live, possibly still being in the closet when Ted arrives in England. And he ends up changing his life drastically because of Ted. (They also make a point in the movie that Sam lives in Seattle and Annie lives in Baltimore and that it’s a sign that they are not meant to be together. If Ted goes back to Kansas there will also be a distance between Ted and Trent but that doesn’t mean that they can’t get together.)

It’s 6am and I haven’t watched Sleepless in Seattle in ages (because You’ve got Mail is the superior movie) so feel free to add to this or correct me. But I needed to put this out there.
