i may have a lot of gripes about the manga, but i'll always be thankful that it did brought me out of my drawing slump - i had stopped drawing for a loooong while before this, but the character he made in megumi - and all the fanwriters and fanartist i've met along the way - inspired me to start drawing again. and of course im thankful for that!!

and i had a whole rant for how the manga went, especially with how megumi's character was handled. but i dont even want to think about those right now lmao - 'it is what is' so they say.

what i can say though is that i personally may have wanted to see megumi's domain completion, or him use his ct at its peak - but i think what his character is about is that he's more than what his ct could've been, and that him being alive and well is more than enough. that he is enough. him being alive and wanting to be alive is the character growth for him.

from the moment he was born all he had was the burden of his name, which his father (and gojo) freed him from. and then later on the burden of being born with a cursed technique that can rival limitless, which he is now free from as well - because he never cared about being the strongest, coz to him happiness is when he's living a normal life seeing the people he cares about happy. and while i do want to see more of megumi, i think i am happy with that conclusion.

i'll just take that for what it is and try and put megumi in the fluffy slice of life AU he has always wanted :)

i dont know if i've mentioned it before, but, yes! sukuna is a special grade sorcerer, so that makes 5 of them in my au (gojo, geto, yuki, yuuta, and sukuna). he can already use domain expansion at early age, along with all his cursed techniques and RCT. He already amazed the higher ups of course, but also they're kinda worried that sukuna would turn rouge and endanger all of them because of how he acts somewhat violent sometimes. gojo assured them that there are nothing to worry about and it's just that sukuna naturally born like that lmao (yuuji can attest to this, has been dealing with it since childhood 😂)

I think yuta defeating geto (with the power of love lmao jk) was a shit move tbh. Considering the differences in experience, like ??? I guess gege had to do that for him to never obtain rika. Anyways, wasn't it confirmed that the domain kenjaku used (womb profusion) is geto's?? Like, i think there was something about it being impressive since it's the only domain along with sukuna's that can be utilized without the barrier? In terms of strength, he is good. He is RCTless though. It do be sad because he had potential + he's better as a villain than "gojo's friend" and i agree that kenjaku did put him to use. He's doing well as kenjaku's body.

As someone who doesn't practice and has close to zero knowledge on any sort of witchcraft (if that's not the right term, correct me) I have a few questions after reading your pinned post. 1) what is godspoused and 2) under your "working with" section, how can you work with conflicting beings(Idk what word to use here)? Like you said you work with satan and archangels which to my limited knowledge are kind of on opposite ends of the spectrum so I'm a little confused on how you work with "good" AND "bad" (I'm using these words objectively and loosely). And then you work with beings from different religions which also confuses me a lot. Like you work with Allah but also Greek Gods and also Sun and Moon which in my mind I'm thinking just the actual celestial bodies. Of course it's your business and therefore personal to you but I am just curious and confused and thought to ask. so basically godspousal is a relationship with a deity (in most cases it's romantic) it's basically being married to a god or a goddess or a demon or an angel or another divinity. i am personally married to many but i will not say their names until i can trust someone. some people believe in it and some don't bur it's real and the gods do feel romantic love towards humans too and it's normal i mean let's just look at myths where gods had human lovers no?

and the other question well basically demons, angels are not at all what christianity taught us. my family personally never was catholic not much christian and i was always teached to pray to god from the heart and never use prayers because as a child you don't even understand them that well but yeah. demons are actually rather noce and help you a lot and angels and archangels too and they don't hate or want to kill eachother or you or convert you for praying to the other one. everyone's practice is different so every deity will have a different relationship that they will show to their worshipper but as far as im concerned gods from different pantheons don't hate eachother and actually hangout and are friends with eachother sometimes for example in my practice Lucifer took a liking to Loki or for example Behemoth likes to hangout with Dionysus. every deity has a different character so you gotta think about it too. and also Satan and Lucifer are not the same deities. and also demons is a word to describe a deity that christians hate or wanted to wash out so technically Dionysus would also be a demon to christians. Satan is an archangel still the closest to the Christian God. Lucifer is the morning star and the god of freedom and revolution...

Allah, Yahweh, Shiva, Kali, i think i work with many gods from opposing religions but they all are okay with it and if i were to tell you how they act casually you would not believe definitely because they're not at all like how the people from those religions see them lol.

Sun and Moon reached out to me actually i see them as astral bodies like humanoid shapes with a "green screen" showing gifs or videos of things closest to their domains like for example on Sun i see Lava or fire when she's feeling strong emotions and nice glowing golden light when she's calm and the Moon looks like a body made our of a starry sky or glittery moonstones. i also work with the Universe and she's also shaped like that except her body shows different videos depending on her mood as well. one time she put a meme on her body bur that's for another talk lmao.

Younger Old Creak meeting his demise in the hands of conquest-hungry knights and their Towering King.

Birthday art inspired by recently deceased Dan Hillier's forest artwork. Please zoom in on the thousands hatchings i done here 🙏 this was very time consuming but also therapeutic to do

OC lore under the cut:

Old Creak is basically an ancestor/predecessor of Woodkid, but went through a lot more pain, hate and fear- especially under the constant invasion of Towering King- that his sense of self eroded and he became a malevolent being that kills human indiscriminately in order to protect the far-reaching forest he's in. Even to Woodkid, he can be quite volatile when provoked.

This is what he looks like in present story:

He used to be able to talk, feel, and even goof off like Woodkid in his early days but now Old Creak exclusively haunts and trudges along the expansive forest. Legends said that his colossal size was because he "ate" the Towering King and his knights in act of revenge, since the infamous band disappeared soon after their victory but those tales tend to be refuted because why would a wood-based being eat meat?

Then again, nobody really knows how a decapitated being can spring back to life so anything could've had happened...

Now my random commentaries for him:

i reused Woodkid's old head design for Old Creak which is a pretty tragic implication, and i'm allll for it 🫠

For Woodkid, Old Creak is an omen of self; the possibility that he too can lose his personhood and become nothing more that a mere pawn of the forest, a force of destructive nature.

Instead of making the Wood Boys (lmao) deities or whatever, i now think of them more like personification of the forest. I dont have any name for the Forest yet, but it's an expansive domain in this world, segmenting big nations and stuff, and definitely quite mystical in how it works.

In time of aggresion and extreme pain, Old Creak becomes the Forest's rage. He's pretty much isolated and has little to none positive interaction with humans even before he transformed into the mindless malevolent being that he is now. But after decades and more of trudging through the forest, hurting and killing every human he stumbled upon while accompanied by nothing but hate and fear, i imagine the Forest long for warmth and kindness.

Enter, or rather exist, Woodkid. A subconscious desire of the Forest to reconnect to the world, to mend his trust to human and regain companionship with someone, anyone. Yet the Forest is still (rightfully) wary of human so both Old Creak and Woodkid exist at the time.

i've not built my barbara but doing the last banner, i got her c6 so i'm kind of hoping neuvillette will work well with her so i have an excuse to build her. the only downside is that i'd have to fight a lot of oceanids and omg that boss kicked my ass when o had higher level than it, it's kicking my ass even harder now that it's 10 levels above me. even with lyney who is so cracked, i died like three times las time i attempted it, so i feel your pain!!!! FUCK OCEANIDS!!!!

you did remind me of xiangling, i always mean to build her but then i get sucked into trying to get the perfect artifacts for my main team and well. i'm not spending money on genshin, but damn do i feel scammed in domains. so many hp and defense pieces when i'm just farming for my dps

i don't play a lot of catalyst characters actually, wanderer is the only one i Really use and i think that's because he's flying so while he is vulnerable (like all catalyst characters are), he is still a bit harder to reach than normal catalyst characters. but for neuvie, with his design and his va and his personality, i will make a difference and learn how to play catalysts well. i did it for lyney and bow characters, i will do it for neuvie as well.

and for thoma!!! my best boy. i don't have a set as such for him, i read somewhere his shield scales off of hp, so i've just slapped A LOT of hp and hp% pieces on him. if that site lied to me, well shit. i will have to go look for which specific set is good for him, but i've been leveling artifacts so much recently i have like ten four stars left. and his talents are like 2-7-6 i think.

i dont know, i'm suere there's a reddit group for them but i've been thinking of leveling her and building her, so maybe she can be in an alhaitham team with a lot of er and a very leveled burst talent.

maybe i should plan my companions too. not lore, but general levelup choices. for the ones that dont start with a specific subclass at level 1 i could try out a bunch of the new ones. so karlach = giant; halsin = circle of the stars; lae'zel = arcane archer; astarion = swashbuckler; gale = bladesinging; minsc = swarmkeeper; and then jaheira can be circle of the spores because i havent played that

i think they'll all take a bit of getting used to, especially since i usually have pretty consistent choices of subclasses that im used to. this makes karlach and lae'zel both ranged when they're usually my main melee damage-dealers. maybe.............maybe gale takes over that role???? at least i still have wyll as a regular offensive spellcaster. the only other regular is shadowheart, and trickery domain isnt even that good rip

god im already gonna be overwhelmed because im planning to use a party size mod to have everyone, and now im also gonna have no idea how to play any of them lmao

Diluc had been looking around the lesser patroled areas of Mondstadt to search for the Architect

He didn't even need those incompetent knights to tell him their god had finally descended

He already saw the signs long before Mondstadt

Bc youve been in Wolvendom, the area has flourished over time, more fish in the water, more game to hunt and bigger, crows making circles in the sky despite there being no corpse

And one of the closest places to you,

Is the Dawn Winery.

Diluc's security against Venti began to hold up better, the staff didn't have to clean as much things like dirt or weather damage to the manor,

His hawk had never been faster delivering his letters, he almost thought the little guy had been drugged with something

He patroled Stormterror's Lair, and deep in the woods surrounding the manor that the knights hadn't bother to go into

Afterall, he figured you'd never had a mortal form before, so u were unlikely to fend for urself for very long in the woods lol

so he wanted to find u quick (aww softy :')

He even made a trip out to the Thousand Wind Temple and Dragonspine (he did report that one to the knights, he didn't want Amber, Bennett, or Creator-forbid Klee, being the few pyro users to have to explore it)

Finally, after doing the further away locations, siginificant in history and rich with leftover magic

Diluc figured that's where you might land first, so he saved Wolvendom for last

It would at least let him check on that wolf kid and maybe get to talk to him long enough to ask him if he's seen anything unusual.

The lord of Dawn Winery manor heads into the Wolvendom woods, just as sunset colors the trees...

It was a Friday evening, the sun was setting, the weather was pleasant and it was time for all of the Lupical to come together and eat a big feast!! :)

About once a month, Andrius will come out for a few nights and dine with all of yall

Hes an old wolf give him a break, he takes long naps

So u cook lots of Mondstadt favorites to eat on and a few Liyue dishes too

Razor, ur favorite helper, has helped u finish the last dish and is now romping around with the puppies bless <3

He summons his claymore, bracing it on his shoulder, and creeps into the treeline to better hide him

You look around the piles of fluffy doggos, happy and stuffed full they r slowly forming puppy piles

Andrius is finishing his meat platter, also sitting on all four legs on the ground

Razor is splayed on his back beside you, eyes closed, his feet sticking out the other side of the table, u chuckle at him

But not a single Lupical seems to be looking at you.

Gulping down your last few bites, you scan the treeline

U refuse to be that bitch in a horror movie where their gut says smth is off and they brush it off or barely look at their surroundings

Turning around to the treeline behind you, u see something... red fur?

U sit up some more, peering over the bushes at the bottom of the trees

You meet a pair of warm brown eyes, widened like they're just as shocked to see you

As u notice his familiar red high ponytail (but also not?? Its weird going from 2D to 3D and still recognizing bitches)

U peer down at his chest, as he carefully stands out of the foliage-

Fastest speed runs I've had in the emblem set domain was with a Eula main. Honestly, pretty straight to the point. 10/10 would do domains again. the enemies are always dead before that sword explodes :((((

WAHHHHHH I’m so excited! ngl I thought I’d be very underwhelmed with this update but I’m so interested. My biggest excitement is the rhythm game but we’re gonna act like that’s not my favorite part-

THIS THING LOOKS SO PRETTY I DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT IT IS BUT IT LOOKS NICE I can’t tell if this is an existing place in the chasm or like a tiny new area? Xiao mentions something like a domain so maybe that lil doorway is a way in or out? Not quite sure but the compass thing looks so epic.

YELAN I think I was pulling for her,,, she’s so pretty and I love her animations. Alas, I refuse to let Kazuha down and I’m staying strong cuz I have his c2 but I’m desperate to c6 him lol

HEARING HER VA WAS SOO COOL TOO I think both her and Shinobu’s eng voice actors fit the characters appearance. I love Yelan’s Korean va tho oml it’s such a pretty voice.

The camera angles with Yelan, bruh they knew what they were doing she’s so pretty- her movement and fighting style in general are so cool, very dynamic. Same for Shinobu. While I have no interest in pulling for Shinobu cause her character doesn’t interest me much, I still think she’s really cool. I’m not too happy about her kit, even considering that she’s a 4*

xiao my beloved <3 I’ve got a side acc for genshin where I pull for characters that I like and want on my main but am fully aware would not benefit my teams at all. So despite Xiao getting a rerun and my love for him, I will once again be skipping him </3 ITTO THOUGH I want Itto so bad because I foolishly skipped him the first time around for shenhe- but again, we savin’ for kazuha so I must resist the temptation. I might try to get Itto on my side acc, who knows (I have no pity built up after Yae lol).

Anyways, back to Xiao. This trailer supports my idea that despite being a lil reserved party pooper, Xiao does not know how to shut up once you get him talking. He didn’t say much in the trailer but I feel like he’s gonna have so much dialogue in game with how passionate (?) he sounded in the trailer. I wonder if the lil hologram lookin thing of him is supposed to be a portal. Reminds me of the abyss portals.

I can’t tell if it’s related but Xiao seemed to be saying something along the lines of “If you’re still alive why would you become like this?” My brain immediately went to that MIA yaksha. I could be really far off lol but it’s the first thing I thought of. I wanna know if that green haired person is related to who Xiao may have been speaking about. The only thing that makes me think otherwise is that Itto seems to know the green haired person and I feel like Itto has little to no relation to Liyue especially in yaksha terms. My favorite part of genshin lore is the Yakshas so I’m hoping we get to learn more about that and that I will not be disappointed,,,

Also why tf are Itto and Shinobu here lmao I don’t understand how they fit in such a Liyuean focused plot but that’s okay they’ll explain it lol

Idk but the way Lumine seemed kinda fuzzy drew me away from the thought of it actually being her along with the space their in, look like the mf character menu lmao

the like red and black vortex shit confused me it looks cool and I’m excited for that part but I don’t know what it is.

And my favorite part -u- Rhythm games are peak entertainment for me. I’m not a fan of the set up of the last two(?) rhythm events we had, but as an enstars fan this one has me so hyped. All of my millions of hours playing enstars have prepared me so this very moment It actually looks challenging in the best way. I’m just really picky about the rhythm games I play and this is my favorite format, set up, way of playing them, whatever you wanna call it lol I’m so excited for this event and I wish we got it sooner.

I’m hoping it’s earlier in the update thought I doubt it seeing as it was one of the ones announced later. That one fighting one does not interest me at all and I would be skipping it if we didn’t get a free weapon from it. It was announced first so I see that coming first in the update but maybe I’ll get lucky and the drum one will be beforehand or together with the first event seeing as it’s a little simpler!
