Mm, so this has been on my mind for a minute.

So you know how Cleo keeps her organs in jars, right? And how the further away from them she is, the more it impacts her motor skills and emotions? If she lost one of them, could she just replace it with someone else's until she finds her own or is she just fucked?

Like, if she misplaced her inner ear, could she just borrow Frankie's until she can get a new one? Would she just have a weaker sense of balance until she found her old one? Would it impact both of their senses of balance?

i know astrology is fake but i'm not too keen on how a lot of people on this website seem to be clowning on it as a hobby a bit too hard. i swear the woman who thinks it's neat how she and her friends with the same sun sign are all similar isn't trying to say that you are who you are born as and there is nothing you can do to change it. it's a hobby. an interest. what happened to finding meaning and joy in the small things. does it affect you if someone enjoys tarot reading or crystals. does it make you upset someone has interests that they enjoy.

I think Ilona's experiences in Tevinter (first coming to Minrathous with her mom to live with her Uncle Jar and his husband, and then again, as an unruly teenager, sent off by her mom for like, a year), have really helped shape her, get her to see more of the world and how it is lived than just going from Orzammar to eventually settling in Rivain.

It really helped develop her sense of justice; Jar is a healer by trade and runs an infirmary with medicines with his husband, and she saw a lot of folks come and go who were in bad shape. Her own medicinal skills are limited to the basics, but she does know how to treat basic wounds and apply poultices, how to apply a splint to a broken arm or leg, and how to massage out painful muscle 'knots'/contractions by hand.

Coming to back to Rivain and back to her mom made her appreciate the kind of life they had, and as she trained and got hired by Isabela and the Lords of Fortune, she brought with her not only a warrior's skillset and vigor, but one with a little more care and concern for others (but, still, not as much a care for herself when it comes to combat). She loves the sea, loves the smell of the air, and really grows into herself under the mantra of for gold and glory.

Mr. House’s personality makes a lot of sense when you learn his Charisma STAT is a 1. His Intelligence is a 5. While his Perception, Endurance and Luck are all 10.

Especially when you consider what Dr. Usanagi says when you go to get a luck implant.

which soulcalibur ships do you want to see explored more or become endgame? are there any that you want to be canon that arent necessarily so? are there any you have that most people havent really considered before?

Off the top of my head, here are the ones I'd like to see explored more:

Hwang/Mi-na: This one grew on me after Hwang's Soul Chronicle. (See the end of Chapter 8 where Mi-na tells him "I just... want you to let me help you for once...") I consider it potentially endgame, so I'm hoping they get more time together in-story to build to something.

Z.W.E.I./Viola: Seems to be farther off in the grand scheme of things but I'm hoping to see where the new timeline is going with these two. Especially with Iska Zwei (I assume).

Siegfried/Salia: At full risk of sounding like a broken record... She's been holding their group together since he snapped and dammit, I hope she follows him to Ostrheinsburg. （ ＴДＴ）This sort of bleeds into to the next questions because I don't see this pairing a lot (and I've looked). Again, I'm glad Salia finally got some screentime (aside from Quick Match in Broken Destiny); it just sucks that she was relatively obscure for so long.

are there any that you want to be canon that arent necessarily so? are there any you have that most people havent really considered before?

I'm putting these together because I don't think I'm all that adventurous with shipping. I tend to have a few pairings that I gravitate to; for just about anything else: sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't. I don't have any that wouldn't come off as a stretch in canon (which is one reason my Mitsurugi/Taki WIP is an AU).

A recurring curse that seems to have followed me from other fandoms is that I glom onto a pairing of side characters, which leaves me with a sparse selection of fanwork to check out if I'm lucky. So chances are I'm going to be the one person on Ao3 who posts anything Shugen/Anju (whenever I get around to that), but if I'm the first, so be it.
