hey what if noa Kim learned that he has a nephew in the form of elijah

We have yet to have confirmation (as far as I know) that Noa Kim is William Miles’ son but I will write this idea like it was an AU where Noa Kim is William Miles’ son and focus on him and Elijah.

I feel like this could work really well with The William Miles Gets A Woman Knocked Up Grieving Desmond’s Death idea that has Elijah becoming the ‘caretaker’ of his father’s second child, Clay Kaczmarek’s child and his grandfather’s second child.

Honestly, he already has enough children to take care of, he has no time to get another one of William Miles’ wayward children.

If Noa hears this though, he’d be offended because he was called a child and they’d get into an argument because…

Noa isn’t quite sure but he’s pretty ‘sure’ that Elijah is younger than him.

Elijah would just scoff and tell him that, sure, physically, maybe, but Elijah is much more older mentally and emotionally.

Sidebar: This entire conversation is happening while the other kids are tying up ‘Shimazu’ Sei and her fellow kidnappers a little too tightly and Elijah is tapping on Sei’s computer because…

And he cannot reiterate this enough…

They’re not here to save Noa Kim.

They’re here because Elijah learned that Sei had taken a full copy of Sample 17’s data.

When one of the kids (probably Squirtle who may or may not be Noa Kim’s younger half-sibling???) let out that they were trying to resurrect Desmond Miles, Noa thinks Elijah’s being an immature brat, wanting his father back.

Before Elijah could deny it, he has no parental feelings for a man he had only heard about and had died without even knowing of his existence, his younger sibling picks a fight with Noa by shouting at him and pretty much throwing Noa’s own family problems in front of his face.

Clay’s child is just on the corner, wondering who was going to throw the first punch and absolutely thanking his dead father for not having the Kenway drama genes (the kids have unrestricted internet but they still decide to prioritize learning about their bloodline because they’re all fucked up one way or another and Elijah is very hands off and believe they can take care of themselves).

While the two start shouting at each other, Elijah finally copies Sample 17 and lets his own virus destroy Sei’s computer and every other computer and devices in the same network. He nods at Kaczmarek who starts the virus in all devices that they found that were not part of the network and Squirtle helps him drench the place in highly flammable liquid.

Noa’s ‘debate’ with a child is cut off when he hears a gunshot and he’s frozen for a second as Elijah kills every Templar.

Starting with Sei.

When he finally tries to stop Elijah, Elijah simply continues to shoot the rest as he asked, “Why are you stopping me? They’re Templars.”

Elijah shoots the last one who begged for his life, saying he has a family and a young d-

“They kidnapped you, forced you to relive Edward Kenway’s memories for their own selfish reasons…”

Elijah finally turns to Noa Kim, “Why give mercy to them? Have you become a turncoat, Noa Kim?”

“There was no need to kill-”

“Are you being kind or are you being stupid?” Elijah cut him off as he narrowed his eyes, “They had no problem kidnapping and forcing an innocent civilian like you to get what they want. Killing them with one bullet on the head is a kindness they didn’t truly deserve.”

“Call me evil, call me selfish. Curse me for all I care.” Elijah raises his arm to aim his pistol at Kim, “We might be connected by blood but, if you’re going to pose a danger to me and my plans, I will not feel even a ghost of guilt killing you here and now.”

“So choose, Noa Kim.” Elijah’s voice held the coldness of Aita as he ordered, “Stay out of my way? Or die the same pitiful death as Edward Kenway.”

cora’s bad time hell simulation steps or how to play “sprite station for girl” “harvest moon ds cute” the wrong way

ok so here’s what my disorganized “guide” to myself for harvest moon ds for girl (aka indecipherable notes i wrote to myself as i played and revised as i tested various things and restarted due to mistakes) looks like. at some point when i become a real gamer i will write a legible guide meant for eyes to look at but uhhh this is how i play this accursed game personally

i’m not sure if anything i wrote will make any sense since i wrote it as notes to myself so probably definitely use fogu and fc2 jonason wiki (may not work but some pages should be archived) instead

ALSO if you’ve never played or barely played the game it won’t make sense at all! hmds was my first harvest moon so i am used to various horrors!

my play style is probably not fun in general HOWEVER if you are a grinding hell goblin like me then it’s GREAT!!!! if not you may still find it amusing that the game gives you permission to play like this

(it’s a great background task game while doing like productive stuff but otherwise playing this way would probably be unbearable)

anyway after that the days go a lot faster, you’ll get the island on summer 1, so on spring 30 i put all my money into million G tickets and sell 200 of em, do the 5x money thing, and save the rest. so when thomas comes the next day to sell you the 900 million G island you can just sell 180 tickets and do the 5x money thing again with like ~600 million G tickets left over. it takes up inventory but you’ll get the shelf in a few days. basically you just need to remember to order from the TV shopping every saturday and place orders with gotz and gray whenever they finish stuff.

random tips

after unlocking the fuckass hot spring sprites (the ones that require you to spend a total of 700 1 hour sessions in the hot springs) i usually grind grazing points— if you put your animals outside for 5 hours you get a “Love Point”, but if you interact with them after they earn that LP then the timer switches over and you can get another LP after 5 more hours. if you wear the time ring the whole time it’s 2.5 hours. i’m not very good at explaining this but basically if you’re super efficient you can get way more animal LP than you realistically should, which is great because the touch glove petting minigame is Bad!!!!

i usually wait on getting the rest of the purple sprites (the ones that require you to hire the purple team and ask for healing) until i’m totally done with the indigo team, cuz i wanna get HG’s purple heart event asap, but you can switch the order if you want

by summer y1 you’ll basically have a feel for everything. aside from Skye, Leia, HG and WP everyone can be married early-mid autumn if you want

if you want to Gay (in the japanese version only) keira is the quickest to marry. leia is the quickest to max affection but it’s impossible to get leia year 1 because the bottle you need to fish up can only be caught in spring. you have to wait until at least year 5 for WP and iirc year 6 for HG.

Aaaaaagh great question!!!!

Seb is pretty infatuated with Nando from the start, well at least the idea of him. His council does *not* want this marriage to work out(they'd rather get into a war and completely rule Spain, then having to barter for it through marriage like this.) Seb knows this, and he's a little brat who always gets anything he wants, right? So of course when he hears of this, he's now like, *I must have him,* and gets obsessed and fascinated with the idea of Fernando. And he also already remembers Fernando as this older boy he had a silly childish crush on when he was a kid, so that adds to his desire.

I think he definitely also takes to fall genuinely in love with him. That's why there's all that stuff about Fernando just being his "kept wife." Because I think they both have trouble viewing each other as real people, rather than just larger-than-life figures/caricatures. Seb originally just views Fernando as something to be won, something to gain, like obtaining a fancy horse or property, or new title(wink.) And Fernando can't help but just see Seb as a kid playing dress up and pretending to be a ruler, undeserving of everything he has.

I think the way they fall in love is gradually just understanding the humanity of the other. They realize they can both learn valuable things from the other. And that they're more similar than they think, and that they have a lot more in common then they ever would be comfortable admitting. It's hard to put an amount of time duration on it thought, its a gradual thing, y'know? I think though probably they have some outside opposition at some point, and end up defending each other unprompted. Ex:

Someone says Fernando shouldn't be the King of Spain. Seb gets *super* offended and lists a bunch of reasons about why Fernando is fit to be King. It's funny because he wouldn't admit this to Fernando even under duress, but then he willingly defends Fernando in front of the entire court, even though it undermines his own position(bcs he's basically admitting that he has no right to that throne and Fernando always was the rightful ruler.)

Someone accuses Seb of being an immature ruler and not being suited for the position of Emperor. Fernando gets sooooo pissed and is all like "you think my husband isn't suited?? You think I would agree to marry a man who isn't suited to be emperor?? You think I'd willingly demean myself in that way!?" Even though he constantly calls Seb immature and unsuitable to his face. But absolutely God forbid someone else imply that. It's so offense to him because he eventually considers Seb to be an extension of himself, so it's like he's being insulted as well.

my current struggle with artfight is that i definitely want to put my fursona there since its like the original character i draw the most and my favoritest little guy, but the thing is that my sona has like. stopped having a consistent design ages ago... by now ive drawn it in a bazillion different ways with different colors and fur patterns and outfits and while in principle it looks very simple (most of the time its just a cartoon cat with glasses and no much defining features) i just dooooont know how to introduce the character or instruct a potential artfight enemy on "yeah so like draw this thing however the fuck you want i guess"

Well you’re very right, she does look stressed! I think that’s just her resting face: anxiety. Not like outright panic, but a general all encompassing sense of unease and exhaustion.

And I hope the Sophie portrait goes well! Seeing your sketch lines I’m amazed, you put much more though into placement than I usually do. My method is fuck around and just see if the vibe is right, cry when it isn’t (joking, not really). If you plan on sharing it, I can’t wait to see it!

tbh its really annoying how the split attraction model grew and proliferated and became like, the default understand of the words aromantic and asexual but nothing came to replace what we USED to use asexual for. i think that really muddies a lot of discussions when some people are coming at it understanding asexual to mean "doesn't want sex" and others "not wanting any intimate relationships in any form"
