Ft headcanons nobody wanted part 2
-natsu will occasionally get genuinely jealous over his friends owning appliances for heating. Why should they need those things when they have him, if they just call him over her do a way better job then any of those stupid gadgets. He finds out gray owns a hair dryer and immediately becomes a jealous ex girlfriend. He confronts Lucy in her apartment one night acting so serious he she doesn't even get mad that he broke in, then just goes "care to explain this?" And puts a lighter on the table.
- Wendy is very very quiet. Creepily so. Not elaborating but I think you can imagine the kinds of situations this leads to.
- Mira's eyes glow in the dark and it creeps everyone the fuck out
- erza has the worst hoarding problem. Her dorm room is entirely piled floor to ceiling with boxes of meticulously organized random items she refuses to throw out for some reason
young Mira: "alright this is ridiculous why do you even have this"
Young erza: "say what you want but when you need 746 packets of Mcnolias sweet and sour sauce and find your supply baron I'll be laughing"
- levy is one of the few members of the guild who actively sought it out to join. Before fairy tail she was an orphan and a student studying magic. She left to join fairy tail to learn more about magic in general from real world experience.
- laki will sometimes build creepily realistic wooden statues of her guild mates and leave them around in inconspicuous places so when you find them they scare the shit out of you. Sometimes she hides them too well and it takes years to discover them.
- Lucy has actually written several unpublished novels and the only other person who's ever seen them is levy. Lucy thinks their crap but levy carefully annotates every single one.
- laxus used to occasionally be forced to go on jobs with erza and Mira when they were young both to help and to make sure they didn't kill each other and he hated it.
- I think I might have said this before but I firmly believe levy, Lucy, freed and jellal later on all form a book club because they love reading, the problem is they all have vastly different tastes in book so they can never decide what to read each week and usually just end up playing Scrabble and talking shit about their various teammates
"please guys trust me this one's good"
"I am NOT reading Colleen Hoover Lucy and that's final"
- this one's based on city hero but I personally believe erza and Erik find a shocking common ground over motorcycles. Erza likes vehicles in general and Erik took up bike racing as a hobby, since discovering this is the longest they've been able to be in the same room together without someone throwing a punch.
- Wendy visits lamia scale regularly still to hang out with chelia. she usually brings romeo and they all go out to do whatever dumb kid stuff they want. (Tbh I just like her having friends her own age)
-lucy sometimes randomly lets her rich girl's heritage show in random conversation and it's always jarring. You'll be having a normal chill convo with her and then she'll look you dead in the eyes and ask you what colour your personal carriage was growing up.
- Natsu is genuinely a really good cook he just has a terrible taste so nobody wants to eat his food. For reference he only ever cooks his food because he enjoys doing it to him it tastes fine either way.
- if you had asked the fairy tail guild who the scariest guild member was in early season 1 the answers would have been erza, guildarts, laxus etc all the usual suspects. Once season 2 starts however the answer is unanimous. It's juvia. Juvia is fucking terrifying when she gets mad. You don't realize how scary water can be until it's filling your lungs and as your vision blurs until all you can see is her merciless stare.
- Mira and freed can drink blood for demon reasons. gray can too after getting devil slayer but he thinks its gross. Surprisingly so can gajeel because of the high iron content.
- gray the type of guy who's bed has only the smallest thinnest blanket on his bed and usually it's on the ground cuz he gets too hot
- meanwhile erza is the type of girl to have so many pillows, blankets and plushies on her bed you wonder how she fucking sleeps in it. Mf has a NEST.
- Lucy isn't even surprised anymore when she finds people in her house, she doesn't know how they keep getting in and honestly she doesn't care anymore she's to tired to deal with it.
- freed plays a lot of really fucking weird instruments. Idk it just seems like something he would do.
- bixlow can speak most languages and it's always really surprising when he randomly says smth like "oh yea I can speak ancient nirvid no prob" like that's totally normal
- if laxus and freed ever did get together (in my heart it's cannon) evergreen and bixlow would be their biggest haters. Yea they love them and they're happy for them but also EW. GROSS. GET A ROOM.

the director's daughter-part one//t.c.
this is going to be a revision of the story I originally wrote and posted on Wattpad but got deleted. Luckily, my Beta has it saved for me<33
Warnings: cursing, yearning/sexual tension
While shooting a new movie, Timothee Chalamet was staying at the home of the film's director, Colleen, along with his costars, Florence Pugh and Zendaya, as well as Zendaya's boyfriend, Tom Holland. After getting off their plane, Colleen's driver brought them to a massive, modern-styled mansion.
Upon entering the house with their luggage, they were all greeted by the lovely Colleen, who gave them a quick tour of her large home and assigned them their bedrooms.
Later that evening after everyone settled in, the director and the cast met in the living room to go over the shooting schedule. As they spoke of the coming weeks, they eventually heard some footsteps.
In walked a young woman wearing a white tank top and some trendy striped boxer shorts. She was seemingly so preoccupied with the AirPod Max headphones on her ears and the iPhone in her hands, that she didn't even notice the group of people sitting on the couches.
"Oh yes," Colleen piped up, "I almost forgot I had a daughter." she joked, speaking louder to get the attention of the young lady. "Y/n!"
Y/n was startled and jumped slightly at her mother's yelling voice. She removed her headphones, smiling awkwardly.
"Honey, you probably already know all of these people already, but, Timothee, Florence, Zendaya and Tom, meet my youngest child, y/n. She's twenty-two and she is also visiting me for the summer along with the rest of you."
"Wow, thanks for the marvelous introduction, Mother, but hey everyone, I'm y/n." she smiled kindly now to the other young adults.
The actors all raised from the couch, greeting y/n with hugs and sweet words. But it was different when Timothee stopped in front of her. She could see why the world, especially females, were so taken by his boyish good looks and his curly hair. She felt like those green eyes were seeing into her soul.
"Y/n." he said, giving her a soft smile and then hugging her.
She hugged Timothee, feeling the softness of the shirt on his back and taking in his sandalwood scent. As they both backed away from the hug, she said, "I didn't mean to interrupt, I was just going to grab some water and head up to my room. Goodnight everyone, it was great meeting you all." She parted to the kitchen with a wave of her hand.
Timothee could not get y/n out of his mind for the entire evening, not even as they all dispersed to go to bed. He laid awake for two hours that night, just letting his brain wander to repetitive thoughts about the mysterious young woman who just waltzed into his life.
The next morning, y/n took it upon herself to make breakfast for everyone, to kick off the summer. The cast members were in awe of the yummy smelling spread on the kitchen island she had put out for them. The entire household sat in the kitchen and had breakfast together.
"So, y/n, are you in college or..?" Florence asked, taking a piece of bacon from her plate and biting into it.
"Oh, no, I'm actually, well I was an Olympic diver." y/n answered.
"Oh that's so cool!" Tom said, "So do you have like medals and all that?"
"Yes, I've got three Gold and two Silver." she said, taking a bite of her waffle off of her fork.
"We never could keep her out of the water when she was little. And we are so proud of everything she's accomplished." Colleen said, the pride evident in her tone and she smiled.
"Hey, I knew I'd seen you before." Zendaya exclaimed looking at y/n, "You were in those Nike ads, right?"
"Yeah, they sponsored me for three years." y/n blushed, wiping her mouth shyly with her napkin. She wasn't used to being so recognized, especially not by someone as famous as Zendaya. As they continued the morning meal, y/n couldn't help but notice that Timothee was being much quieter than the others.
After breakfast, Colleen made an announcement: "Okay guys, we are heading to set today. I want you all to see the work being done and have an idea of what it is going to look like." She then looked at her daughter, "And I am trusting you to stay here by yourself and not break anything or burn the place down."
"Mother, I am twenty-two years old, I think I can handle it."
“Yeah, she did cook us breakfast and the house is still immaculate.” Florence pointed out, making the others giggle.
.......
Once everyone else had left, y/n showered and put on a little bit of makeup to go with her white lacy top and black jeans with the knees ripped to catch the summer breeze outside. She ventured out of the house to go to the art supplies store. She wanted to indulge her painting hobby.
It was a quick little shopping trip, the movie gang was still gone when she returned to the house. She went to her room upstairs and kicked her shoes off. She turned on her music, letting it blare through the speakers in her room as she set up her canvas.
After seeing the set, Zendaya, Tom, and Florence made plans to grab some food and then go grocery shopping afterwards. Colleen had a meeting to go to.
Timothee, however, opted to go back to the house instead of dinner, claiming that he didn't sleep well the night before and just wanted to relax.
Upon entering the mansion, he could hear the muffled music coming directly from y/n's room. He smirked to himself, shaking his head. He decided to get a shower and freshen up. It was one of those summer days where you started to sweat just by stepping outside.
After getting out of the shower, Timothee wrapped his towel around his waist. He stopped at y/n's room when he left the bathroom, intending to greet her and let her know that he was back. He knocked on the door, but there was no answer. The music was so loud, she didn't even hear him enter her room. He stopped to watch her for a moment, she was painting, but also swaying her hips to "In the Night" by the Weeknd.
She slathered a bit of paint onto the canvas, did a twirl and squealed when she saw someone in the room with her. She nearly jumped out of her skin! "Timothee! What the fuck?! You scared the hell out of me, dude." She put her hand to her chest to still her raving heart.
"I'm sorry, I just wanted to let you know that someone else was home, I didn't mean to scare you."
"How long have you been standing there, you creep?"
"Hey, I'm not a creep,” Timothée put his hands on his hips, “I only stepped in here for a second."
Y/n found herself distracted by the water beads streaming down his naked chest. "Um, okay. Where is everyone else?"
Timothee smirked, noticing her eyes scanning his chest. "Out."
"mm." she hummed, nodding.
"Is there anything you want from me?" he asked, daring.
She then shot her gaze up to his eyes, "What do you mean?"
"Look, we're both adults here. I see the way you're looking at me, and honestly, I want you too. Everyone else in the house is going to be out for hours. If you want me, I'm yours."
“But,” she shook her head in disbelief, “you didn’t say a word to me this morning.”
Timothée shrugged, “Yeah, I felt kind weird because I wasn’t sure if you were in to me. But now I’m pretty confident you are.”
She grinned, giggling, “Hmm, what makes you so sure?”
“Because you were just looking at me like you wanted to fuck my brains out.”

---------------------------------------------
You were in your room editing a video while on live. You were answering questions and laughing as you were telling stories to your fans. There was a small knock on your door.
"Come in." You say. You turn your head to see your boyfriend walking in. "Hi baby." You say, a smile immediately crossing your face at just the sight of him. "Hey, whatcha doin?" He presses a quick kiss to your head before looking at your screen. "Editing a video on live." You say.
You glance at the chat and its full of compliments and comments on the two of you. "Thank you for th compliments guys!" You say with a smile.
"Babe look at my new hoodie!" He steps back and shows it off. "I like that one it looks good on you." You say. "Everything look good on me." He says in the same voice he would use fir Colleen, causing a laugh out of you.
"You're right everything does look good on you." You say. "How much longer are you gonna be on live?" Colby asks. "Uhm maybe about twenty minutes? Why?" You ask. "Jake wants to have a movie night and is insisting on everyone being there." Colby says with a playful eye roll.
"Okay, I'll be done in a bit and I'll come down." You say. "Okay." He goes to walk away but you call him back. "C'mere." You pull him down by the chain he was wearing and you give him a kiss. "Be down soon." You say before focusing your attention back to the screen.
He walks off and you glance at the comments.
"did you see how he looked at her?"
"Literally the cutest couple out there."
"I would have died if someone kissed me like that."
"Colby move its my turn."
You smile reading them answering more questions that pop up abd such. Finally you ended your live about twenty minutes later and there was another knock. "Yeah?" You say as you get up from your chair. And walk to grab your phone from the charger by your bed.
"Brotha come in it is time for movies!" You hear Jake say. "I'm on my way, I just ended live." You say. You turn back around and Jake is standing right in front of you. "Bruva. We must go now." You laugh at the British accent he's talking with as he grabs your arm and pulls you all the way downstairs.
You sit next to Colby, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek and snuggling up to him while Jake picks out the first movie. Colby pauses for a second before wrapping his arm around you. "You ok?" You ask while looking up at him. "Yeah, sorry." He smiles.
"Aww look at the cute couplee. You disgust me." Corey says. You laugh at the face he makes. "Would you like to join us brother?" Colby says. "Really?"He says in a funny voice. You and Colby both open up the arm you have free. Corey comes over and plops on the two of you.
"Oh my god Corey." You say laughing, trying to keep him from falling off the couch. "This is really great thank you guys." Corey says. "Of course Corey." You say with a small laugh. He actually ends up staying like yhat for a little bit before getting up abd complaining about his back.
After many many movies, Just about everyone was asleep except the two of you. "Y'know I love you right?" Colby asks. "Of course." You say looking to him. "I know sometimes I act weird about physical touch. I dont mean too.' He says. "I know, just let me know if you ever get uncomfortable." You say. "I dont think I can with you." He says.
You smile as you cuddle up next to him, feeling his arms tighten around you. The two of you fall asleep on the couch, along with everyone else.

Ryden Sun & Moon Theory, A Summary
A short (actually long) and incoherent summary of the sun and moon theory from the beginning to end.
Disclaimers
I have a few things to say before I get into the good stuff, I apologize. I would like to clear up that this is all speculation as well as for fun. I don't usually encourage the shipping of real people but in the case that there is a large amount of evidence in regards to it I often like to entertain the idea. I would also like to say that throughout their whole careers Brendon nor Ryan has not denied or confirmed the rumors.
Confirmation of… Something
However, Brendon and Ryan have acknowledged their “moments” on stage. In an interview Ryan was asked: “Are you toying with the idea of bisexuality?” To which he answered: “There was never a point where we were going for that or trying to make a statement,” and, “We're just having fun,”
In the same interview Brendon spoke about how he is “playful” with Ryan on stage. He said things like: “For our first headline tour I would go up to Ryan and like kiss him on the neck or kiss him on the mouth,” and “I would hang out with friends and after five or six beers we're just kind of smooching on each other,”
So here, we clearly know they've at least kissed. If it's on stage for fun and Brendon admits to “smooching on” his friends, I'd say it's pretty fair to say it's happened behind closed doors as well.
Although, it is also clear that some moments in shows are scripted. This is regarded as stage gay and is a marketing tactic. It's essentially queer bait.
Ryro and B-Den Relationship Timeline
Generally, Ryan is regarded as the sun and Brendon as the moon. However, this also changes based on their relationship status. In 2004 Ryan was with a girl who is commonly referred to as S for privacy reasons. Throughout their relationship and break-up he was highly emotional and it led to beloved songs such as Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off. In this time he had taken on the role of the moon and Brendon was his sun, coming to him in a time of need and helping him.
From late 2005 to 2006 Ryan went on to get together with scene queen Jac Vanek. This resulted in Brendon meeting and dating another scene queen Audrey Kitching. Both their break-ups were rough, involving cheating and a faked miscarriage (allegedly).
In late 2006, enters another girl, Keltie Colleen. She was a dancer for them for a VMAs performance and got with Ryan afterwards. There's a lot to get Into here but during his relationship with Keltie is when he transitions from moon to sun alignment.
It was a rough relationship and before leaving to the cabin where Pretty. Odd. was written they went through a very difficult situation. Throughout his time at the cabin Keltie was not contacted and she began to wonder if he was cheating.
From his relationship with Audrey up until 2009 Brendon was always single. He transitioned to his moon alignment during this time. Generally the rule is if Brendon is single he's moon and if Ryan is single he's sun.
Pretty. Odd.
Pretty. Odd. is really when the sun and moon symbolism starts. The first song where this shows is I Have Friends In Holy Spaces which was written by Brendon. He says: “I'm not complaining that it's raining, I'm just saying that I'd like it a lot more than you think, if the sun would come out and sing with me,” I particularly like this because he's saying he wishes Ryan would sing with him more often and enjoys it very much.
Northern Downpour is in my opinion one of the most Ryden heavy songs and gives us so much to work with. In an interview with Rolling Stone Ryan had said, “It was about touring and girlfriends and love and everything that’s been important to us in the past few years. There’s a line in the song that goes, ‘I know the world’s a broken bone, but melt your headaches, call it home.’ I told Brendon to pay special attention to that line,”
Ryan had also said that Jon wrote “the sugar cane part,” but the rest of the song was written by him. Although, it's a very common theory that it was written as a correspondence between Ryan and Brendon. This is especially thought about because of Ryan specifically telling Brendon to pay attention to, “I know the world’s a broken bone, but melt your headaches, call it home,”
I personally think that the line “I missed your skin when you were east, You clicked your heels and wished for me,” is Brendon talking to Ryan. I think it's referring to Ryan's time with Keltie in New York while Brendon was in Las Vegas or even just while they were all in New York. Also, of course all the “Hey, Moon,” lines could be Brendon talking to Ryan but I'm unsure if these are included in the parts Jon had written or not.
There's a lot more to Northern Downpour but that should all be saved for a post of its own. So, let's talk about the next Ryden heavy song, When the Day Met the Night. This song is completely about the sun and moon and leans into the theory heavily. In the song, the sun has he/him pronouns and the moon has she/her but in live performances Brendon has used he/him for both. However, neither me nor my source has found the clip so I'm unsure if it's true.
A very intriguing part, however, is the line: “as long as you can make a promise not to break my little heart and leave me all alone in the summer,” This line is not only sung in first person but it also reveals something extremely interesting. Ryan left the band on July 6th of 2009, July would fall in the middle of summer. I don't think they would have known he would leave, so it's highly possible it's a coincidence but the amount of coincidences that happen to this band is insane.
Vices and Virtues & The Departure of Ryan
Ryan left the band after a very well known time in Capetown. There he had met a woman who he swore to spend his life with. Everyone told him not to chase her and he responded by throwing his passport into the crowd saying, “My heart belongs in Capetown,” Unbeknownst to him, she had a husband in jail. With Ryan, Jon Walker also departed from the band to join Ryan in The Young Veins.
That's another story though, I want to focus on Brendon Urie – my beloved B-Den. Him and Spencer Smith went on to write the album Vices and Virtues. In this album we have the wonderful song The Ballad Of Mona Lisa. We theorize that Ryan is Mona Lisa.
In The Ballad Of Mona Lisa Brendon says, “Say what you mean, tell me I'm right, and let the sun rain down on me,” which likely references their fight in Capetown. He's telling Ryan to say what he means and tell Brendon he's right, perhaps about the woman they urged Ryan not to be with. The sun “raining down on” him could mean that Ryan's words were raining down on him. This also has so much substance it could be a post of its own so I'll leave this here.
After Ryan's departure Brendon was always extremely emotional singing older Panic! songs. He could never get through the one line in Northern Downpour that he was always told to pay attention to. He also could never sing the song without crying. At this time he had also started dating Sarah but I don't think he transitioned back to moon alignment until their engagement after Vices and Virtues.
Ryan had sung the song as well after his departure, in 2019 with his girlfriend Elizabeth Berg. Ryan was also clearly emotional while performing the song. However even though he was in a relationship he seemed to be in sun alignment, still in contrast with Brendon. In true sun fashion, he seemed to perform the song very happily despite being emotional.
The Curse Of Celestial Lovers
It's not very well known but Celestial/Star-Crossed Lovers are destined to never be together in the end. This is the case no matter the celestial alignment. Even if it's a moon or sun and star, such as popular ships Wolfstar and Jegulus. However, it is often worse when it's the moon and sun trying to come together.
As of now, Ryan is living alone in LA and Brendon has married Sarah and is living in Seattle. It is unknown if they are in touch or if they have met recently. Ryan has re-entered social media and done shows recently and Brendon is coming back for the WWWY tour to perform in Las Vegas.
I wonder if Ryan will be there…

How I learned to be a better librarian, or at least how to be a professional librarian
There's a lot of stuff that they don't teach you in library school, on how to be a librarian. It's stuff that you just have to learn on your own. And the professors tell you that to an extent. But I don't know if you're like me, I didn't really believe them until I started my job. They tell you really, that this is for the betterment of becoming a librarian, but working in a library is different than learning about it in a classroom.
One thing that I learned is that, hey I can have a very loud voice when necessary. I learned that as I was yelling over the roar of the children's department "NO RUNNING PLEASE." And the kids stopped running for the most part. (I'd still say it if they kept doing it.) I also realized that you're allowed to talk in normal tones at the library. You're allowed to use a regular "inside talking voice" rather than whispers. I'm a librarian; I'm not gonna rat you out to your parents if you ask me where Colleen Hoover is (I will however give you different suggestions based on wanting Colleen Hoover books.). Just please tell it to me in a normal voice. (I also found out I sound like my older sister when I speak loudly. Which is something I'm filing away for my future therapist at a later date.)
They don't tell you how to deal with any patrons in person. Patrons are fun to interact with normally. They give you different ideas of what they want, and what they're looking for. I once got to help a patron looking for a specific photograph of the Rockettes and pizza. (Ask me about him! He's awesome!) I had to deal with a patron who was scanning her books (trying to), and would look back at me each time one didn't scan, and tell me that they didn't scan. Not asking me what to do, not asking if there's another way to do this, just telling me that they wouldn't scan. I stood up and scanned one with the library's specific barcode (she was using the ISBN barcode one), and handed it to her as it came up on the screen. She huffed and re-scanned everything. Was that petty? a little. Not too worried about it though because this was the third time she and I talked about how to scan books at the self-check desk.
You learn everything you need to know on the job. It's interesting that getting a master's is required to become a professional librarian. And it's immediate. You get thrown right in with the patrons, your coworkers, how to create booklists, how to curate passive programs. It's just interesting that this is required. I'm happy I went to library school.
I've realized that, as a librarian, you kind of just are there. You're a person who fades into the background until a patron has a question for you. And obviously, the most asked question for us is "Will you watch my kids for me while I grab my books?" That answer will always be no. Why are you leaving your children with a stranger (me. Your kids don't know me, and I don't know them. There are 50 other kids in this room, how do I know which is which?)?
I cannot stress this enough. Invest in a journal. I just invested in another one. It keeps me rather sane in the times of bootyholes and punches. It also helped with school, and me writing down ideas of stuff that I want to do at my job. So that way I don't forget and can work on it when I'm at actual work.
I also learned that your boss isn't going to tell you what you can do. I mean they will, but you can also definitely just do some of the things they don't explicitly tell you that you can't do. I started a passive program where I put all of the Where's Waldo characters taped up throughout the department, and when the kids asked about them I told them they get to rehide waldo and his friends. The only rule was waldo et al. couldn't go into trash cans nor could they go into bags going home. They also did not have to tell us where they hid them. It's been about two years, so it's about that time that I reprint Waldo and Friends and do it all again.
Scavenger hunts are your best friends. They are deceptively easy. The kids get a sticker for completing it. And they also get to see different parts of the room that they're in regularly. It helps them learn about different parts of the library, and is fantastic.

KIDGE ANGST
TW! death
50 years had passed. It had been 50 years since they shared their first kiss, and they had never left each other's sides.
During those 50 years, their love had only grown stronger with each passing day.
Now, she was 70.
As she lay in her bed next to her husband, Katie felt a strange sensation. Both she and her husband had been worried lately; she had been feeling weak and breathless for almost a month now, and doctors couldn't find anything wrong.
She took a deep breath and rested her head against her pillow. Keith knew exactly how she felt. He knew her so well that just one look in her eyes was enough to tell that something was wrong.
But he also knew that if he asked, she would simply answer that she was fine. So, he asked, and as expected, she said that she was okay. He insisted, and so did she.
Deciding to give up, knowing how stubborn she was but also trusting that she would confide in him later if something was truly wrong, he kissed her forehead as they wished each other a good night.
As he closed his eyes, Keith instantly fell asleep. But no matter how much she tried, Pidge couldn't.
As she grew older, it became harder for Pidge to fall asleep at night. She and Keith had lost everyone:
The first to go was Baebae, Pidge's dog. It had been complicated for her, but she stayed strong.
Then came Sam. It was years after Baebae, and it was possibly the worst day of her life by that time.
Sam was followed by Colleen, who couldn't bear losing her husband for the second time. She was an old woman who had been through so much, but her heart could not handle more. She died, drowning in sadness, and no matter how much Matt and Pidge did to save her, it wasn't enough...
After Colleen, Shiro followed. It devastated everyone, especially Keith. But with Pidge by his side, he healed faster.
Hunk died years later. A heart attack was the reason...
The only ones remaining in their lives were Lance, Matt, Krolia, Kosmo, and their kids. Some other people remained, but they were less important in their lives.
And all this kept Pidge awake at night. She remembered the old times, hurting herself by allowing her thoughts to dwell on all the happy moments. And then, she remembered that it was over, that she would never again be hugged by her father or laugh with her mother... That she would never get to hug Baebae to sleep or have nice Paladin hangouts with her friends... And, of course, she would never gossip with Allura again.
She missed Hunk's cookies and his presence when she was feeling down. She missed Shiro's advice and how reassuring he was.
She just wanted to go back in time, start everything over, and reclaim the beauty that she thought she had lost.
And she was happy with Keith. She always had been, and she felt so grateful that he was still by her side today... But she missed how they used to love each other back then, those nights when they wouldn't sleep and would share every piece of passion. She missed discovering his touch, his body; it all felt new back then, and now, it just seemed routine. She knew his touch by heart... And not that she thought it was bad, but she did think that it was better before... Because everything seemed better when they were younger.
She used to fight for peace, she used to be a model for so many people and have an important purpose. Today, she felt worthless. Just an old lady. A grandma, certainly, but then what was next?
Death. And she would feel guilty admitting that she actually waited for it every day now.
She knew that she would leave her kids behind, along with her remaining friends, her brother, and her husband.
But her kids were grown adults now, with their own families and lives that she wished she could still have. They didn't need her anymore...
As for her friends, she only really had Lance and a few acquaintances. But she rarely saw them, if ever. She called Lance often, but that was about it.
She saw Matt often. Same old Matt. And when thoughts of ending her life crossed her mind, she tried to push them away, knowing that she was his only family left.
And then there was her husband. How she loved him. He was the only reason she hadn't tried to end it herself. The only thing tormenting her now was deciding whether she wanted him to die before her or after her... Whether she would hurt him or herself.
She didn't really have a choice.
Lost in thought, her eyes closed, and she felt her body's weight growing heavier with each passing second. She understood. Summoning all her strength, she opened her eyes one last time to look at him. The only man who had ever loved her, the only man she had ever loved.
Oh, how beautiful he looked in the moonlight, she thought to herself, finding the strength to reach for his cheek...
She caressed his cheek, feeling her hand grow too heavy, and she rested it in his.
If only she could tell him how much she loved him... But she didn't want to see him cry. She didn't want him to take her to the hospital or try to "save" her.
She wanted to silently pass away in the bed where they had shared their love for years. In the room where they had once been young together. In peace.
A tear rolled down her face: she was feeling greatful in this moment to have had such a beautiful life.
And she silently hoped that she'll find him again, in another life.
(there you go and I hope this made you feel the emotional turmoil you wanted lol :') )
Let me know your thoughts about that one!!!!!!!

The Tie That Binds Us — Chapter Eight (Brought Together)
Summary: After an overheard call between her mother and Olivia, Harper chooses her side and spends the weekend at Olivia's.
Word Count: 1,298
Warnings: Harper's toxic mother
Harper had intended on a quiet Saturday and it had thankfully gone that way until the early evening when the sound of the landline phone ringing interrupted her peace. Her mother refused to pay for a cell plan for herself and had to be talked into getting Harper her own phone for months. Normally, Harper would have gone right back to her activities, not at all concerned about who might be on the other end, but something about her mother's tone told her that she should hear this.
"Hello," Colleen droned, and Harper could already sense her irritation with the caller. She sounded annoyed at the inconvenience of having to pick up a phone at all.
Harper picked up the receiver in her room to listen in. "Is Harper at home?" It was Olivia. Shit. She should have given her her cell number for this very reason.
"Is this that Baker woman? Whatever your name is. What’s it to you anyhow, lady? Don’t you have your own kid to worry about," Colleen spat. Harper raised a hand to her mouth, disgusted —but not at all shocked— at her mother for saying something so senselessly cruel. Harper knew there would be consequences for eavesdropping, but she couldn’t remain silent, not over this.
Harper came storming out of her room, slamming the phone down on the receiver on the way out. "Don't you have a sympathetic bone in your body, or do you only feel sorry for yourself?"
Harper watched as her mother set the phone down, seemingly unperturbed by her interruption and outrage. "Did she hang up," Harper asked when her mother said nothing.
"I guess," she offered with an indifferent shrug.
Harper shook her head. "I don’t blame her. You were an insensitive bitch. I’m going over there. Don’t expect me home tonight."
"Harper Cassidy, that woman is not your mother, or your girlfriend, or whatever the fuck you think she is. She's just a sicko preying on a child. My child!"
Harper felt the fight draining out of her. She’d tried for so long to get through to her mother, but it was just like treading water and not getting anywhere. So she stopped yelling. She’d say what she had to say, as one last ditch effort, but she wasn’t about to waste any more energy on her than she had to.
"I’m eighteen, mom. I’m not a child anymore. The fact that you would even think that of someone who actually cares about me really just says a lot about you. You might have given birth to me and call me your daughter, but it’s been a long time since you’ve been a mother to me." Harper punctuated the end of her statement by turning to the door, walking out, and closing it firmly behind her.
When she got outside to begin the walk a couple of blocks over to Olivia's, she let the tears stream down her face, trying to shut out every thought of her horrible mother. She needed to get out of that house. She’d spent too much of her life under her mother’s roof, and after Hannah, and how she just was to Olivia, she really couldn’t stand it anymore.
She arrived at Olivia's front door faster than usual when she walked there from home. She knocked lightly, realizing that she probably should have called instead of just showing up. When Olivia answered the door, she was seemingly unsurprised to see her. "I’m so sorry," Harper immediately apologized. "My mother can be—"
"It’s alright," Olivia soothed, but Harper could tell she’d been crying. No doubt that had been entirely her mother's fault.
"It’s not," Harper insisted, but let the subject drop. "Can I...stay here tonight?"
"Of course." Harper came inside and made her way to the living room couch, which she flopped down onto like her legs had been waiting to give the whole way over. Olivia joined her after shutting the door. Neither were in the mood to talk, but they could both use a distraction. Olivia turned on the tv just in time to catch the opening scene to Sleepless In Seattle. Both content to leave the film on, they spent the next two hours watching it and letting their bad moods fade away during the sweet love story.
Olivia flipped the channel to something else once the movie had ended and Harper didn’t catch much of whatever came next, favoring instead to take a short nap, her head resting comfortably on Olivia's shoulder. When she woke up an hour or two later, she pulled herself away from Olivia with a muttered apology, feeling embarrassed to have fallen asleep like that, but Olivia dismissed the apology and didn’t seem to mind.
The rest of the day went on in the most mundane of ways, but Harper loved the simplicity of it. She helped Olivia do a bit of light cleaning, and they coexisted with ease, maneuvering around one another like they’d done so a hundred times. It felt like a home should feel, more so than her real home ever had.
"Harper, what’s this," Olivia asked from the direction of the kitchen. Harper made her way to the sound of Olivia's voice and saw in her hand the crumpled up Hot or Not list that she’d thrown out the other day.
Harper's heart skipped a beat. She wondered how much Olivia really knew about what school was like for Hannah. With a deep breath, Harper began to explain. "It was a stupid thing a group of guys made. They put a bunch of names down in these categories and I thought it was just dumb and dismissed it, but it affected Hannah so much more. It might have been the thing to start it all," Harper ended with, her voice dropping to a whisper. She felt the pinprick of tears stinging the back of her eyes. She didn’t want to break down like this in front of Olivia, but Hannah's tapes came flashing back to the forefront of her mind and she bit back a sob.
Olivia didn’t ask any more questions, seeing as how it had upset Harper so. Instead she simply hugged her, and Harper let herself be encircled in Olivia's arms, letting a few stray tears fall before she was able to pull herself together again.
Once Harper's distress had abated, Olivia, with Harper still pressed against her, suggested that Harper take them for a drive. "Seeing as you passed your test, might as well get some more experience under your belt. Take me anywhere. Let’s just get away for a bit. Does that sound good?"
Harper nodded against Olivia's chest, then allowed herself to pull away. Driving was going to take all her concentration, so it would be a good and welcome distraction. They headed for the door, Olivia grabbing her keys and handing them over to Harper as they made for the car. It felt so strange for Harper to be behind the wheel, but she was slowly getting used to it.
Harper ended up driving them to the Crestmont. She hadn’t consciously chose that location, but for some reason it had felt right. Harper put Olivia's car in park and they both got out. It was late, and the theater had closed, so they just stood in front of it, side by side, and Olivia put her arm around Harper's shoulder.
They stood there wordlessly for several minutes, each caught up in their individual memories of Hannah before they eventually got back in the car and Harper drove them back to Olivia's. Whatever forces had brought them together tonight, maybe even Hannah herself somehow, Harper was grateful for it. They needed each other, and this time Harper wasn’t about to let her down.

Hey, I'm curious: which of the Sonic comics series is your favorite?
I’m still only on issue 43 of IDW, but that one takes the cake so far. Great art, great characterization, interesting plots, heartfelt moments...and it’s hard not to love it as an Amy fan.
I’ve ranted about IDW plenty already, so for this post, I’ll instead focus on my second favorite: Ian Flynn and Tyson Hesse’s Sonic Mega Drive comics. Spoilers under the cut for those comics and a bit of The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog, though I bet most Shadamy fans have scoured that game already. I’ll be answering the asks I got about it soon.
Mega Drive features classic Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles. It engages in what I affectionately refer to as “revisionist Amy history.” Amy hardly ever starred in adventurous roles in the nineties when the classic counterparts were in use, save for Sonic the Fighters, but she’s been portrayed recently as if she’s always been a core member of the team who could defend herself to an extent, and I actually love that. Sonic Origins Plus is doing it soon, too, and it’s even more obvious in the Mega Drive comics. The characters are wholesome and lovable, too.
Cute! Cool! Look at how impressed Sonic and Tails are!
Wholesome! Charming!
And my favorite Sonic/Amy dynamic ever. Confirms my headcanon that Amy loves being carried, too; I have a whole tag for that. She’s a smug little shit about it, too.
And it also features something I’ve been seeing more and more of lately: Tails being supportive of Amy and wanting her to be happy, regardless of who she winds up with. He’s up for Sonamy!
He’s up for Shadamy!

youtube
Colleen knows her character! When asked in this video whether Shadow and Amy should get together, she says, “I think it’d be great! Because Shadow needs some, y’know...some positivity in his life! And who’s more positive than Amy?” <3
I’m getting off-topic, but I really love how supportive Tails has been toward Amy lately. He’s not Team Sonamy. He’s not Team Shadamy. He’s Team Amy, and that is wonderful.
Anyway, the Mega Drive comics are a gift. Be warned, though: they started under Archie’s ownership, so they’ll sadly never be completed. Two out of the three issues were completed. They’re worth reading, just don’t get too attached :’(

The First of Many Warning Posts
This is another extract from the timeline. The rather lengthy, bulleted analysis of Andy's response to an anon about the warning post doesn't actually appear in the timeline--I'm including it here so I can link back to it later.
February 25, 2013
Tumblr user F makes the first warning post addressed to the SPN fandom with regard to Andy, in response to an anon ask that refers them to Abbey's and Colleen Doran's blogs. F sends Andy a couple of private messages regarding these allegations, and when they don't receive an answer, they publish a response to the ask in which they include links to the posts the anon mentioned, as well as some other references, and suggest that people read them and draw their own conclusions.
Andy gets aggressive with F, referring to the content of the warning post as "scandalous allegations" that need to be removed or made private. He claims not to have received F's messages, chastises them for not calling him instead, and tries to get them to take the conversation to Skype or phone. F refuses, finding it disturbing that Andy has immediately asked for "personal, offline identifying information" from them, and says that any discussion between them will need to occur in public space. They later publish a message from Abbey and direct readers to her blog.
Andy responds to an ask about the warning post. In this instance, Andy doesn't tell many outright lies, but he does bend the truth quite a bit and ignores facts that are inconvenient for him. Taking it point-by-point:
While Andy's primary goal has never been to con money out of people, he has obtained or extracted money from others under false pretenses when there was a promise of an immediate (albeit intangible) reward, or when he couldn't cover his living expenses on his own. For example, he convinced Turimel to use her credit card to pay for LotR actors from New Zealand to fly to the US for a convention that he knew wasn't going to happen. That money wasn't for Andy, but the purpose was to demonstrate his power and influence to the Bagenders and other BoE members by bringing celebrities directly to them. Another instance would be his lying about a heart condition during the DAYDverse era in order to motivate people to pay for him to travel to visit them, to spend more on commissions from him, and to give him money "for heart medication" or other medical needs.
Four words: hiding in plain sight.
The crazy things that people say about celebrities have absolutely no bearing on the things people say about Andy, most of which are supported by years' worth of evidence and testimony from former friends, roommates, and followers.
The extent of Andy's openness has been to deny everything that his detractors couldn't prove at the time, to remain silent about everything that hadn't yet been uncovered, and to blame the rest on mental illness and a host of other excuses. The bit about his medical history may be referring to his status as a trans man, and he's correct that that should never have been an issue in the first place.
Similarly, Andy is correct that some of the information being circulated about him is false. "Some" does not mean "all" or even "most". By now, Abbey, Diamond, and Little Sam have all spoken out about his actions from 2002-2007, and Abbey has corresponded with at least a couple of DAYDians. Turimel and Fandom Wank are no longer the only resources available and the truth is coming out.
Andy is once again trying to hide behind the trans issue. He's also brushing a lot of stuff under the rug by claiming that all of his abusive behavior took place between six and ten years before this post. And then he throws up a further distraction by calling F a transphobic hypocrite.
Yes, Andy has been investigated by police more than once and has never been charged with anything. Things may have been different if charges against him hadn't been dropped in 2004. In any event, never having been formally charged with a crime doesn't mean that you've never done anything wrong. For example, not getting pulled over and arrested for DUI doesn't make it okay that you drove home from a party while drunk.
Colleen Doran said in one of her posts that she and Andy grew up in the same area and attended the same schools. She apparently was making an assumption that he'd attended public school, but he was actually homeschooled. Andy is not lying about that. This is one of his favorite points to mention when asserting that his detractors are just making shit up and have no idea what they're talking about.
Here, Andy is suggesting that nine years of pretending to channel fictional characters, celebrities, and innumerable original characters was just roleplaying.
Again, the accusations against Andy are not all as old as he makes them out to be here, and saying that they're "inflated" is meaningless without being specific and offering evidence that this is the case.
There are plenty of lies, half-truths, and wild exaggerations on Andy's tumblr and even in this post.
Andy used to say the same thing in the DAYDverse. He was just posting fanfiction and fanart; how dangerous could he be? And yet quite a number of people suffered emotional, psychological, and even physical harm as a result of his actions. While he was manipulating and abusing Abbey, Diamond, and Little Sam, he joked about what a terrible cult leader he would make because he wasn't getting anything out of it—while he was literally their cult leader. This is just another means of hiding in plain sight.
Andy finds it inconvenient that some people feel the need to make his history everyone's business in order to enable other fans to make informed choices about whom they want to befriend.
CFC also posts a lengthy defense of Andy, hitting the same notes that he does in his post, with specific examples of things he's done for her and repeated insistence that Andy's demanding a call via Skype or phone is not creepy. They have obviously discussed this and he's given her some helpful talking points. She then publishes an anonymous ask that is clearly written by Andy. Specifically mentioning Abbey's "degree in psych and gender studies" is a tell, as are lying about Andy's age when they met, collapsing the timeline, and blaming Abbey for Andy's own actions.
In a subsequent post, Andy praises another Tumblr user for deleting their reblog of F's warning post. He validates them as "a good person" and writes off F and anyone else who reblogs the post as a wanker who only cares about gossip. He even throws in his old favorite catchphrase, the "pitchfork mob". Significantly, Andy suggests that F is actively harming SPN fandom, and Destiel fans in particular, by making them look irrational at a time when they're reaching out to the showrunners—as if to say that when Destiel doesn't happen, it will be all their fault for not shutting up about his past so as to make the fandom appear to be harmonious. He magnanimously offers validation and forgiveness to anyone else who chooses to delete their reblogs, and suggests (nonsensically) that this person's deletion might somehow have caused more rumors and wank if he hadn't said anything.
Finally, in this post, Andy links to his prior two statements and to CFC's defense of him. He posts his phone number and Skype name again and promises answers and honesty to anyone who is willing to call him. He insists that he doesn't care about "fandom popularity", which is true in a way. It has never mattered to Andy how many people follow him or are part of his inner circle; what matters is the level of influence he has over individuals, the things he can persuade them to do or say or believe, the amount of attention and adulation they give him, and so forth.
While all this is going on, Andy reblogs a few posts that he thinks are relevant to the current situation. Among them are the post assuring people that the DAYDverse isn't a cult, a post that portrayed Abbey (anonymously) as an internet predator who took advantage of poor Andy, and one of his posts about how it's wrong to criticize him because he's just trying to help people.

Gay relationship is not immoral but being with a minor is. I don't know if you have the brain to comprehend it. You can portray such relationship in media but it should not glorify such behaviour or should be shown in a romantic light.
I don't where danyok is illegal (other than countries where gay relationship is seen as illegal which is not the issue we are talking about) when yok is full adult when he gets into a relationship with dan.
It's not even about whether a person is 18 or not cause Akk sleeps with ayan while akk is a minor and ayan is an adult in the story in technical terms but it's not an issue because they are in the similar space in life.
Whether you do the same in real life doesn't matter ( honestly we don't know) but other people could be influenced and could think something like this is normal especially among the young. Why do you think there is such backlash against colleen hoover books being published as romance. Sensitive stuff should be handled with care and not used for entertainment
ask #22 : media literacy, who?
listen anon.
since you are bringing up the brain's comprehension capabilities. let me tell you some things, which i know you will take in one ear, and out the other.
1) I don't know how old you are, but the way you speak shows you're not mature enough to engage in fandom in a healthy way.
i would like to think you're just young, because i have seen older fans think like and parrot bs like and ultimately it's come to bite them in the ass.
your simplest response to my previous answer could have been blocking me and moving on, but ofc you chose this. the anon cover. because what could be braver than that, right?
nevermind. your goal of making me see sense or whatever is ultimately pointless. kudos to you for trying though.
2) creators of media portraying sensitive themes are not liable for your well being. none. large productions or small fanartists.
my parents, however fucked they are, actually properly parented when it came to what kind of shows i was watching, or books i was reading.
I wasn't allowed to pick up a sidney sheldon book, even though my bestie was bought one by her parents. the reason is my dad reads through these things, her parents did not. or at least trusted her enough to know the good from bad. my parents made sure I wouldn't consume something that wasn't made for me. nevermind the fact that i picked up godfather in 7th grade from the school library and instantly regretted it.
so your bs argument about colleen hoover holds no ground here. you know why? because it's not on colleen to monitor her audiences or create stuff that can "teach you good from bad". no, she's creating stuff she wants to and trusts that her readers are old enough to know the difference or at least have someone who can outline those for them. she is creating for a specific set of audiences who love her.
so fuck it with your lame ass excuses. ask the parents to parent better. because they have clearly prioritised everything else besides the well-being of their children. and if you're telling me grown ass adults cannot differentiate and taking their moral lessons from a fucking fiction book —
( i have zero idea what's the content of that book btw besides domestic violence and a ..... divorce, maybe?)
— then, my dear. y'all are fucked. and probably your parents and the adults in your life did a shit job of telling you right from wrong.
3) my god, fuck it, some of y'all lack media literacy. clearly nobody paid mind in literature class 😑
the most immoral of media created, has a specific set of audiences. i write about stuff and know that people who can read between those lines, will know what i want to say. only idiots bring out the big words “glorify”, “romanticize” when they understand shit and want to look cool and pure and crap.
from your point, yok is an adult and dan too. how much older is dan? isn't yok 21-22 max? don't you think danyok have an unbalanced relationship because atp i could say that dan should have never gotten with that kid. you know why? because yok hasn't lived through things dan has, your stupid ass arguments about akkaye working out because bless my soul , two minors doing the deed??!, is nullifed here. people can be the same age and have different maturity levels, or be years apart, even while adults, and still be in entirely different paths of life.
anyway this is getting too long for you, i guess.
so my last point is.
4) you DO NOT have the right to police what kind of media someone should consume or not.
people who consume dark media, most of them know what they are doing. people cope through it, heal through it. i read fics where self-harm is glorified because it's the only way i can stop doing it to myself.
so don't you EVER come back here with how “immoral” media shouldn't exist or immoral things shouldn't be glorified. it's not art's job to educate you, unless the artist deems so. and lots of artists create stuff that doesn't glorify so called immoral things. read those books, genius.
if i could actually see you, i'd block the fuck outta you. but like the coward you are, I'm already expecting another anon ask.
next time though, all you are getting is my middle fingers. all four of them. cheers.
(p. s.: to the danyok girlies, i love them dw, I'm just using them as an example here)

For this WIP game, tell me more about 3) Elektra Natchios? <3
Thanks for the ask :3
So I've been thinking about Elektra (mostly because I find it hard to understand her choices at the end of Defenders) and I decided she obviously survives Midland Circle (Matt does, how could she not?). So what is she up to after that, where is she during season 3?
My answer is that she's horrified that Matthew almost died for her, so she stays away—which gives her the chance to actually build herself with no more external influence. Stick is dead, the Hand is mostly dead, Matthew is out of the picture, where does that leave her? What should she do with her life now? Who is Elektra Natchios?
Someone unexpected might help her find those answers (Colleen, bc apparently having only watched IF one time isn't gonna stop me from writing Colleen!). Jokes aside, Colleen and Elektra have quite a few things in common, so this wip is basically them interacting while Elektra finds herself. 🫶

liveblogging the horrors: without merit by colleen hoover (part 3)
(part 2 is here)
okay, sorry, new part bcus i keep posting so much including all my screenshots and stuff. im doing this on my phone otherwise the linking would be to both parts 2 and 1, but i might do a master post with links to all of the different parts later. if you’re interested in following along, all of these posts should be tagged #elijah reads without merit
chapter six
merit once again thinks honor just isn’t good enough for sagan (based on nothing but her own assumptions)
merit calls the name sagan “smart and sexy” and prefers to call him honor’s boyfriend bcus his name is just so attractive. i don’t know what is so sexy about “sagan”.
you ARE being ridiculous actually
merit is more covered up at the pool than honor, because she doesn’t feel as confident (see the above screenshots). i will forgive merit’s problematic thinking above because honestly i think teenagers can and do think like that. what i will NOT be forgiving here is that luck starts bothering her about it and insinuating that everyone has already seen what she looks like under the t shirt because they can see honor. bro you are an adult and her step uncle stop trying to make her reveal more of her body and stop implying that just because they’re identical twins they’re the same person. luck is also trying to therapise her and wants to get to “the root of” why merit is so much less confident and outgoing than her sister. WOULDN'T YOU LIKE TO KNOW WEATHER BOY. also leave her alone you freak
luck reveals that the reason victoria no longer speaks to him is because he ran away after stealing and pawning all of her jewellery including extremely sentimental inherited pieces. merit uses this as once again a reason to hate victoria for being the stepmom: “Funny how Victoria needs apologies from people, but she’s never once apologized to any of us for tearing out family apart.”
IT TAKES TWO TO TANGO, MERIT, AND ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE IS YOUR FATHER BUT YOU ALWAYS MAKE IT ABOUT VICTORIA AND YOU ARE CONSEQUENTLY SO HORRIBLE TO HER and Barnaby never defends her from merit’s nastiness so honestly i would be in full support of a second victoria divorcing him. she deserves better
INCEST PUKE COMING UP SORRY EVERYONE
merit says that she is not attracted to luck, but bro, why are you even asking that you fucking weirdo!!! i am hitting this man with a bat!!!
merit has been thinking that honor isn’t good enough for sagan this whole time and angsting over him, but sagan brushes some hair off her cheek and she does a complete 180 which is funny
she has SO not been fighting her attraction to him, but i love how she’s like HES DISREPECTING MY SISTER RIGHT NOW AND THATS FUCKED UP. finally some sister solidarity
the chapter ends with more Luck Being Horrifying, including asking merit about her virginity and pressuring her to answer questions about her crush (i think luck knows it’s sagan) in front of all of her siblings (except moby) AND her sister’s boyfriend who she has a crush on. luck you are weird and horrible and i hate you.

Warnings: suspicious friends, slight angst, cursing, kissing, making out, beginnings of smut
The next day, y/n sat next to Timothée at breakfast. Florence had lovingly served up the hot morning meal with coffee and assorted juices. Of course, it smelled divine and everyone started to eat immediately.
Colleen announced that she thought it might be fun to have a BBQ at her home with all of the cast members and her daughter, obviously, and invite some other crew members. A little party to celebrate the kick off of the movie production.
Everybody agreed in a near unison, nodding their heads as they sipped their drinks and munched on their breakfast.
Y/n finished her plate, and sat silently as she glanced at Timmy periodically while pretending to listen to the table conversation. She thought he looked so cute, his bed head still evident, the heavy bags under his eyes from tiredness. It was such an innocent contrast to the events of the night before.
“So where were you two last night? We didn’t see either of you at all.” Zendaya asked eyeing up both y/n and Timothée.
Y/n looked at Z and Timothée swallowed hard.
He quickly cleared his throat, “Oh, I had a bad headache so I didn’t really feel like going out to see the fireworks.”
“Hmm.” Zendaya nodded, then looked at y/n, “And I suppose you went out with your friends as you had planned?”
She nodded, “Yes, I did.”
“Babe,” chuckled Tom as he touched his girlfriend’s hand, “are you their mother or something? Let them live.”
“No, I’m not mothering, I just thought it was a little funny because I’m pretty sure her car was here all night.” Z shrugged.
“Well, my friends actually picked me up.” y/n chimed, “And dropped me off early this morning.”
“Okay. That makes sense.” Zendaya seemed satisfied with the answer, but y/n couldn’t help but wonder why she was acting so suspicious.
“Wow, Zendaya’s a better mother than I am these days.” Colleen joked to lighten up the mood.
……
It was a good day, but it ran into evening and y/n was ready for everyone to leave so it would just be the housemates. She was mostly missing Timmy. With the filming schedule and having so many others in the house, they hadn’t been alone in a week. And this morning he didn’t even look at her at breakfast. She hoped he wasn’t losing interest in her.
Florence had suggested going for a dip in the hot tub to end the evening. She had brought a date that she met at the farmers market earlier that day, Shane, or Shawn, no one could remember which his name was.
Y/n went inside and up to her room to change into her bathing suit. Timmy followed her upstairs, not saying a word. She felt discouraged when he remained quiet and went to his own room. Maybe he was forgetting about her. She wanted the fling to continue, and maybe eventually turn into something more. Perhaps it was silly of her to think that could happen. She was still in college and he was a mainstream movie star pushing thirty.
She opted for a black one piece swimsuit that cut high up on her thighs. The square neckline also held her boobs up nicely. Maybe Timmy would notice.
She hurried along in an attempt to catch Timmy before he walked back downstairs to the jacuzzi. She opened the door and he was walking down the hallway, “Timmy, wait!” she called out to him.
He stopped and turned, raising a brow at her, “What do you mean? We’re getting in the hot tub.”
“I know.” she said, hustling over to him. She stopped, smiling softly as she put her hands in his hair and pulled him into a kiss.
He was surprised at first, but then kissed her back, holding her close by pressing his hand to her lower back. “Mm.” he hummed against her lips blissfully. “What was that for?” he asked with a tiny grin when she pulled away.
“Just checking.” she said, smirking back at him.
“What, just checking to see if I’m still into you? Because I am, Bunny.”
“Well, it hasn’t seemed like it this past week.”
“I’m sorry. I’ve just been busy, and I wasn’t sure if you were still in to me. I thought maybe you’d think I’m too old for you-"
“I thought that you’d think I’m too young for you. Like you could find someone your age who’s prettier and more experienced, maybe.”
“No, I’m sorry if I’ve been misleading. I definitely want you, y/n.” he smiled, then bit his lip.
She grinned like a schoolgirl, saying, “Fuck, I’m so lucky.” She pulled him into another kiss, a harder one, putting a firm hold onto the back of his head. She wove her fingers into the soft curls just for a moment. Pulling away, she quipped, “We should get out there before Flo comes to find us.”
Timothée chuckled, “Oh you know she will.”
They took each other’s hand, him leading the way downstairs, “Let’s keep it between us, just for a little while longer, yeah?” he asked, looking at her. “I mean, I’m sure everyone in the house might have their suspicions, but let’s not give in to them until we have to.”
“Sure. Let’s keep it close as long as we can.” she smiled, giving his hand a squeeze before they parted on the back patio.
“Fucking finally!” Florence exclaimed, seeing them both come down. She was in the hot tub with her date. “It’s about time you two showed up.” She gave the pair each a cheeky grin.
Some time went by, the four adults enjoyed the jacuzzi and the calm summer night, sipping their drinks and making light conversation about the film.
Things shifted, however, and Florence started kissing Shawn.
Y/n and Timothée kept to themselves, trying not to stare. But the other couple started making out more heavily and touching each other. The mood was entirely different from how it started out.

it’s so weird to me how oblivious people are to the reason why adam mcintyre took so long to be taken seriously by the whole internet. i keep seeing posts questioning why this was all swept under the rug three years ago, but the answer is so obvious to me. adam was a child during his relationship with colleen and was still a minor when he came forward about his experiences. most of colleen/miranda’s fans are all underage. most people “grow out of” miranda sings as they get older, and likely never interact with her content again. i have friends who have and i myself grew out of miranda’s content, forgetting about it rather than processing how weird her videos and live shows were.
obviously the other people in the same position as him were too young to understand how truly odd it is for a THIRTY+ YEAR OLD WOMAN to be engaging with her underage fans the way she did. they all either had been in or would die to be in adam’s shoes! every teenager would probably shit themselves to directly interact with someone they consider famous or even more so their idol. but as you get older, and you start to understand “oh, actually, that was really weird,” it’s harder to ignore what you or others have gone through. the people adam considered friends who turned against him were all still confused about their position and importance in colleen’s life, but more than half of them probably got dropped (if not all) after her apology in 2020. and that probably made them think, “wait, if colleen thinks our relationship is inappropriate enough to abandon me, then maybe it was inappropriate the whole time.”
i wouldn’t be surprised to find out that less than 10% of colleen’s fans are over the age of 18. in fact it would be interesting if through all this she is pressured to, or someone does the hacking to, release her analytics information showing that a majority of her fans are ages 12-16. i know i stopped watching her at about 15 years old. i was embarrassed of MY humor, not hers. i closed that chapter of gross, inappropriate, sometimes offensive humor and never looked back. even though she was a grown ass woman promoting the humor she does to a “pg13 audience,” i never thought about it for how serious it was. because i didn’t know, because i was just a kid.
i feel like the internet has just started realizing in the last 5, maybe 7 years, that NO adult/minor internet relationship is appropriate. unless there’s a reason, like work/school/family, there’s no excuse for a famous internet personality to be speaking almost daily with a minor. a minor doesn’t need to know about your relationship issues, work drama, or any weird miniscule details about your life. there’s no reason, with such different stages in each person’s life, to be interacting with one another.
the reason adam was ignored all those years ago was because an adult who was directly involved called him a liar. to which other adults who see no reason to interact with a minor because they’re not fucking weirdos, went “okay, this minor is not my business” and disappeared from the situation. while other under-18′s who didn’t have the life experience to know better, went along and destroyed adam’s internet presence in favor of colleen. and now, that same adult who was directly involved (kodee tyler) admitted they lied (to save herself from impending fallout), so this situation is back in the spotlight because adults will only listen to other adults. and now, because adam is an adult too, other adults feel comfortable getting the story straight from him.
but anyway, i think we need to stop asking why he was ignored for so long and instead ask ourselves how we can prevent this from happening to other teens on the internet. to me it’s obvious this was able to go on so long because colleen’s internet personality is targeted directly towards minors and so only minors were involved in or witnessed the drama. now they’re old enough to conceptualize what adam (or they themselves) went through, speak out about it, and actually be taken seriously because they have grown into adults themselves.

Thank you for your reply, KO! This is the anon from #asked and answered 176.
1 yes i like your fics, i like no apologies the most because we had insights to emmy's career and life in sf. Emmy might find herself boring, but ive always been a busy body reader so i would eat up everything about her personal and professional life in sf. I still hated will there, but thanks to you i hated him 5% less
2 "Ummm. I do think it’s a little weird that you’ve read multiple PD books, and even finished the DN series… especially since you were looking forward to Will. Because I hated Will for the first three books and if I weren’t curious about Emory, I wouldn’t have finished the series at all."
KO, you've underestimated a loyal hate reader's journey of hate reading 😂 i love pd's writing and i love some of their books that were not DN because of the chemistry of the main lovers (theyre not bad as many have said actually), but i still hated the ongoing misogynistic dynamic that they always had in their books. Its like having an author that you majorly like what they do, but their side mistakes were big enough to irritate you so you remember them, kinda thing. Do you have these kinds of author that feel like this towards? To answer this simply: pd's books are like worms for brain for me. Like when i read books by Colleen hoover, or hd carlton, sophie lark, lauren asher, or susanne valnti &peckham. It's the kind of toxicity you need from time to time but still get mad and disappointed by your low expectation at their shit ass plot and mfcs and fmcs anyway, yk.
KO, i cant lie, im just a hater first, a hate reader second and a reader third 🤣 once i stop, i cnat quit. Like damon torrance, that punk ass devils night philosopher said, sometimes you just want to feel everything including the ugly ones you know, and like michael crist the logician, you just gotta own it, before it owns you, GOD HAHAHAH i cant believe im using them as my metaphors right now!! Please bare with me here.
3 "I also find it equally weird that your first impulse after finishing a series you hate is to go to the tag of the character you hated the most? I mean, I’ve definitely clicked on hot-takes I know I’m going to disagree with and hate-read things, but it’s not my go-to."
hmm? KO, i think... youre just not as toxic of a reader than me, ohmygod, im so sorry! 🤣☠️ im really of those people that will immideately look up one and two star ratings on goodreads so that i know my feelings and thoughts were validated by other haters, lmao! Do not mind me, its not a good thing, but like damon torrance said, live, love, laugh, and hate, you know 🤩
4 thank you so much for your recs, i also actually grew up watching hana yori dongo! I watched the kdrama version too but idk if i'll watch the thai version. I have less patient for dramas now unfortunately, and the last drama i watched was "celebrity" on netflix, and i still havent finished it, even after 3 month ☠️ I used to love kdramas and lee minho was so popular back then, so i also watched him in "the heirs" too. Ohmygod his hairsyles in both dramas (boys over flowers and the heirs) were so funny, but i remember enjoying these stories a lot. I believe these two kdramas were released during the time where kdramas were having a lot more angsty romantic relationship than platonic ones and they both stood out among many others, not only because of lee minho, park shinhye and bunch of k-idols acting there, but also because of the friendships and platonic relationships shown that were fun to watch. It's a break from other dramas like moon embracing the sun, or my love from another star that were romance-heavy, yk. But tbh, i prefer my love from another star and moon embracing the sun more than bof/hyd and the heirs. If there are two recs i'd like to give you, they would be "hotel del luna" and "sky castle". God damn, i cried in every single episode watching these two dramas. They really touched my soul, everything was so good!
5 i havent scrolled through your blog and notice your recs for sempre, but from your recs, i checked and saw its goodreads rating and it's pretty high! Maybe i'll check it out if im interested. Seems like a mafia gang story? I need to be in the mood to be reading mafia stories because my first ones were from reading kpop mafia fanfics from years ago and the latest and the last one were the made series by danielle lori. The made series were entertaining but i noticed that i didnt care much about mafias? Hahahahah idk, and idc much about vampires, and wolf stories either, but i like faes. Not Sarah j maas type of faes, but holly black's and cassandra clare's. The ones that are beautiful, creepy, complicated and loves/have to lie but cant. So yeah, thanks for recommending sempre!
6 as for alex, im tired of her, and honestly i dont want to think about her anymore. I'll pretend nightfall alex never existed, and nightfall will grayson fucking died a gruesome death, becoming of two stupid selfish best friends who think theyre the only suffering in this world. You know this reminded me of a quote by madeline miller's Circe that really fits will's selfish behaviour especially in blackchurch: “He showed me his scars, and in return he let me pretend that I had none.” thats exctly how i felt throughout blackchurch. Because emmy always had to heavylift whatever bullshit that alexwillaydin put out to her. And as someone who was so used to just move forward and not caring about her small losses because she had suffered worse, emmy just had to act like she was okay with all the little hurts and cruelty cause by people, just because she loved them/will and wanted to not give up on him and give him a second chance, because he was hurting and she understood that he cared then (🙄). Good thing, she admitted she was at fault partly too, but god, i hated when she felt like she need to go above and beyond for a man who admitted didnt care enough about her. Gods, these mf men need therapy frfr.
7 "I truly am sorry that it was such a bad experience for you. You’re welcome to stick around, but I’m sure since you hated so much, you’re ready to move on after unloading like that. But it’s all good either way. I hope you’re on to better and better things."
No need to be sorry, but you're right, i'm starting some new reads right now, and idk why, but kandi steiner, liz tomforde and laura pavlov really do be hitting with their releases!! Like their stories are not dark romance so tat cleansed me from devils night series a bit, and they are so fun to read! They gave me melanie harlow's vibes. If anyone's interested, i suggest checking out Blindside by Kandi Steiner, Right Move by Liz Tomforde, and all of these four authors backlogs tbh. Kandi Steiner even have like a college frat series? Which i havent checked out but it sounds fun, and its called Palm South University series.
I dont have anything else to add as well, thank you for reading my rants, have a nice day! I think this will be my last one, so goodbye!
KO, you've underestimated a loyal hate reader's journey of hate reading
Hey!! Okay. This is very helpful! Thank you for the insight. I’m not a stranger to hate watching/reading and (used to) do it frequently. And I would complain to all my friends about all the horrible stuff that was happening, but they knew I was having a good time.
It’s harder when I don’t really know who I’m talking to, to tell if I should take it seriously or if they’re enjoying the trash like me. We’re completely on the same page in that case so ignore very thing I said about not getting it. If you’re having a good time hating it, I got you!
i think... youre just not as toxic of a reader than me, ohmygod, im so sorry!
I might not be anymore but I definitely used to be, ngl. And I don’t know if you can end up running a DN blog without having some toxicity left in you??? I mean. We’re not here because this work was a masterpiece, am I right?
I don’t currently have any authors I must read/hate-read. Like I’ve said, I haven’t had the time to get into a lot of new stuff lately, and my tastes have changed. They could always change back, since reading is a mood-based activity. For now, though, I’ve left the dark and toxic behind for something that makes me feel good about the world.
i also actually grew up watching hana yori dongo! I watched the kdrama version too but idk if i'll watch the thai version. I have less patient for dramas now unfortunately
Oh my god the Kdrama! It was my first Kdrama. Fond memories. And no worries, I haven’t touched any drama in years. Truthfully, I think the only reason I can get into the Thai version is because of the familiarity.
but from your recs, i checked and saw its goodreads rating and it's pretty high! Maybe i'll check it out if im interested. Seems like a mafia gang story?
It is, kinda? But it’s really layered, with a good plot and great characters. I could ramble about it for a while, but I don’t think anyone is interested currently, so I won’t burden you with it 😂
holly black's and cassandra clare's
I did really like the folk of the air series, and I read the spiderwick chronicles in middle school, but I haven’t gone back to holly black in a long time. I did want to read the new one but haven’t had the chance.
--
Oof Alex. Now that I know where you’re coming from, I can completely agree. I’ve been re-reading and analyzing her intro in Nightfall and how weird it was; how it derailed everything in the worse way. Sometimes, when writers are stuck on where to go with a scene or plot, there’s a tactic that’s recommended: have someone walk in with a gun. It causes enough of a upheaval to keep the plot moving. I’m not sure if that was what Alex was supposed to do, but it really didn’t work for me for a lot of reasons.
Because emmy always had to heavylift whatever bullshit that alexwillaydin put out to her. And as someone who was so used to just move forward and not caring about her small losses because she had suffered worse, emmy just had to act like she was okay with all the little hurts and cruelty cause by people,
Yes! She had to work so hard just for a little, and what killed me the most is reading her scenes where she agrees with them.
She has the moments of clarity, where it seems she remembers why she did what she did, and she's not sorry, and that she wasn’t to blame for what happened to Will. Then next minute… she’s back to blaming herself for no reason? I’ve said many times before that Emory’s guilt is misplaced, and at certain times, it can’t be ignored that it was really PD pushing this “Emory deserves this” narrative, but I just can’t jive with it at all. There's a question on her good reads page where she says that she thinks Will is the most justified in his hatred.
And just... no. He's not. Literally none of them were justified in their hatred. They had the right to feel wronged. Sometimes we feel wronged, even if we carry some of the blame for what happened. But to say they were justified is just over the line. I really wish PD had more balance when it come to assigning blame. I think this series would have benefitted if one of the themes of the story was that everyone makes decisions, and right or wrong, we have to living with them. These are the consequences.
Like their stories are not dark romance so tat cleansed me from devils night series a bit, and they are so fun to read!
Yeah, it’s always nice to find something new that works! Thanks for the recs. I hope if anyone is looking, they’ll look them up. Sorry I didn’t have more strong female friendships, but they can be tough to find in todays romance climate.
I totally get you not coming back. It was absolutely a blast talking to you and thanks for the clarification! It always helps.
Have a great one, KO

Layla | Colleen Hoover | Published 2020
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/4f6000975548548a78a4e7555fef4c36/4cc734d0137bd5b3-00/s540x810/8a1f9d0d5215263345abed48d4aa7ff4d443c8b8.jpg)
When Leeds meets Layla, he's convinced he'll spend the rest of his life with her - until an unexpected attack leaves Layla fighting for her life. After weeks in the hospital, Laya recovers physically, but the emotional and mental scarring has altered the woman Leeds fell in love with. In order to put their relationship back on track, Leeds whisks Layla away to the B&B where they first met. Once they arrive, Layla's behavior takes a bizarre turn. And that's just one of many inexplicable occurrences.
Feeling distance from Layla, Leeds soon finds solance in Willow - another guest of the B&B with whom he forms a connection through their shared concerns. As his curiosity for Willow grows, his decision to help her find answers puts him in direct conflict with Layla's well-being. Leeds soon realizes he has to make a choice because he can't help both of them. But if he makes the wrong choice, it could be detrimental for all of them.
While playing a wedding as a bassist in a band, Leeds Gabriel meets the eccentric and gorgeous Layla, the sister of the bride. The two of them have an instant connection, Leeds attracted to Layla's curiosities.
The two of them are hot and heavy from the beginning, until one day, Leeds posts a photo of Layla to his social media. The two of them immediately move into together, and a previous girlfriend, Sable, is non-too-happy about it. Angered still by their break up, Sable arrives at their apartment and shoots Layla first in the head, before turning the gun on Leeds.
Months pass and Layla makes a miraculous recovery, though she is now dealing with anxiety and panic attacks, picking at her incision on her scalp until it bleeds and has a loss of appetite in addition to memory loss. In an attempt to reconnect with her, the two of them are going back to the B&B where they first met.
But immediately upon returning to the place they fell in love, something strange begins to happen. And this strange thing is an entity that calls herself Willow. Willow doesn't have any memories of her time as a human, nor does she know if she was even a human before. But she is alone, and means no harm to either Layla or Leeds. However, Leeds suddenly finds himself falling out of love with Layla and falling in love with Willow.
Willow has the ability to enter into Layla's body, and though they look the exact same, he finds himself more attracted to Willow in Layla's body than he is to Layla. All throughout his encounters with Willow, he is determined to help her figure out what is happening to her or what has happened to her. But, their interactions while using Layla's body is taking its toll on Layla, who is perpetually exhausted after Willow takes over her body.
Finding someone to help him through an online forum, this man shows up and explains that he isn't human like Leeds and Layla, but exactly like Willow, and has to enter a body in order to talk with them outside of the use of technology. This man, dubbed "Randall", explains that at the time of the shooting, Layla and Sable both died at the same time, as Leeds took the gun and shot Layla in a fit of rage. When their bodies died, their souls left their bodies at the same time, and when Layla's was revived, Sable's soul entered her body and Layla's actually moved into this other realm, returning to the B&B because it was where she was happiest.
Willow has been Layla this entire time, and explains the memory loss and personality changes Leeds found in Layla after her recovery. But, this strange man tells them that there hasn't been anything found that allows the right soul to enter into the correct body. But Layla knows that the two of them can't continue to keep Sable (in Layla's body) hostage against her own will, because eventually questions will be asked.
Layla remains inside of her body when her sister comes for a visit, and has come up with a new plan. Layla believes that if the two of them can kill her body, Layla's soul can make its way back inside of her, but they would only have 5 minutes to revive her. When Layla leaves her body, and Sable returns, Leeds drowns her, and Sable fights back, not thinking of the potential evidence that shows that he was guilty of drowning her.
With Aspen's help, Leeds begins his attempt to revive her and an ambulance takes her away. Aspen is certain that Leeds attempted to drown her sister and can't figure out why, but when a doctor comes and asks for Leeds because Layla is asking for him, the two of them are officially reunited, Layla saying something only the two of them would know.
In the end, they leave the B&B and buy a new construction home in Montana, where the two of them begin to live their lives.
