I miss Oz's Circle so much. I just love them working together and not always on the same wavelength. It made them infinitely more interesting. And you can totally give them headcanon roles:

Glynda is the cold mother who cares but is strict.

Qrow is the snippy but dedicated drunkard.

Ironwood is the no-nonsense strategist.

Ozpin is the soft-spoken leader who is keeping them all together.

Like I said before, I love them because they don't always agree, almost get into arguments, but can work very well together. It's healthy to not always agree and have different opinions, but it's also good to set them aside to work as a team. ("We can fight about it later!" type of energy.)

If RWBY had Pokémon - Teachers

When choosing Pokemon I’ve gone off aesthetics, personality, lore, but most importantly: vibes.

James Ironwood

I went with mainly steel type Pokémon, due to him being the tin man it felt appropriate, as well as the fact the Atlas army invests highly in technology with the sentinels.

Bronzong - big metal man int he?

Steelix - looks menacing and impressive. It just has the General's vibes

Growlithe - gotta get the police pooch in there. I do love this puppy but also ACAB

Onix - Ironwood isn't just metal so I wanted a rock Pokémon to represent that and I think having an Onix and Steelix side by side would be like him showing off his human and metal side.

Skarmory - aesthetically perfect. Typing perfect. I just thinks it's perfect for him

Aggron - I reckon this would be his ace Pokémon with Aron having been his starter. Big, can take hits, awesome, menacing...

(Continued from the first post.) Yet when his paranoia overwhelmed him, Qrow was Ironwood's biggest fear (aside from Atlas falling). I wonder if Qrow would have been able to knock some sense into him if he had gone up there. I wonder if he would have tried after Ironwood proved Qrow's distrust right.
