So, my friends were great and ran around collecting things and talking to the devs they met about my food project and asking John Epler about Bellara's favorite food.

But, the signed cookbook arrived, and I got the hard-earned buttons my friends collected for me, the mini poster, the signatures, and the wonderful artwork of Bull they made for me (definitely can't tell my favorite character), and wanted to share! (Ignore the Solas box, I'm temporarily holding the buttons in there).

Gastrodon Facts

-The scientific name for Gastrodon is "Linus Alternatis" which roughly translates to "Alternate Slime"

-Like their name suggests, Gastrodon are Gastropods, with their closest relatives being Macargo and Goodra

-Originally, Gastrodon had no physical difference between seas, but the rise of Mount Coronet in Sinnoh is what ended up separating them, making Gastrodon have different appearances between the seas. While they are still very much the same species, its believed that they will become two different species in the future

-Gsstrodon are covered in a thick slime which is what allows them to move around on land, and protects them for predators. Their slime is so successful that they don't have any predators at all because they could choke on their slime just by swallowing them

-Male Gastrodon are called bulls, while females are called cows. Males are also slightly larger and more aggressive than female Gastrodon

-Gastrodon are omnivores, feasting on both sea vegetation, algae and small fish pokemon. Sometimes they'll eat beach sand, which id completely normal and healthy for them. They prefer to eat one big meal a day so they can nap and do other activities for the rest

-Gastrodon have very high regenerative abilities, being able to regrow lost limbs in only a couple of minutes

-Researchers believe that Shellod and Gastrodon used to have shells, but they lost them due to a calcium deficient environment

-Gastrodon lay their eggs in the ocean under the sand. Their eggs are clear, very squishy, and watery on the inside. The color varies on weather it's an East Sea Gastrodon or a West Sea Gastrodon that laid the egg

-Gastrodon live in groups, with the strongest ones protecting the rest of their herd

-Gastrodon are one of the few non mammalian pokemon that can produce milk. Yes, they are farmed for milk. I've tried Gastrodon milk before. It's thick and tastes a bit like cheese

-East Sea Gastrodon are known for going onto beaches more

-In some regions, Gastrodon are used as ride pokenon for the water. They need to have very secure saddles so they don't slip off

-Gastrodon actually have very high physical strength, and they've been used for manual labour jobs for centuries

-Gastrodon is apart of the Sinnoh Zodiac, being number in the Zodiac Chart

-With the changing temperatures, West sea Gastrodon are decreasing. There's programs in Sinnoh and Paldea that are trying to bring awareness and help the decrease in populations

the worst part imo is when people acknowledge that tigerdove have had a "rough start" to their relationship then go on to act like they're the cutest healthiest most perfect couple today. as if he isn't still controlling her every decision and actively harming dovewing's relationships with their kids by making her agree to stupid rules and arbitrary punishments. i guess they're Better if better means they fight less because dovewing's gotten more complacent. yay? keep speaking ur truth wholesome wifeguy himbo or whatever they're calling him tigerheart needs to be dismantled

no literally. like shes been totally isolated from her family and any friends (close or not)/acquaintances in thunderclan, now surrounded by tigerheart's family, friends, and clanmates who think tigerheart is the second coming of jesus for some fucking reason. if she has a problem, who is everyone going to side with? even if they don't think he's right, hes their leader. are they going to insult him? his marriage? by siding with dovewing is out of the question.

and as ive said before, in the elder's quest, dovewing is upset her one remaining kitten of this litter is leaving. tigerheart decides freezing him out is the appropriate response. dovewing, when she tries to talk more at length with tawnypelt, is interrupted by tigerheart and swept away before she can contradict him. THIS IS NOT OUT OF CHARACTER. THIS IS WHAT HES BEEN DOING SINCE DAY ONE. so it isnt out of the realm of possibility that dovewing DOESNT WANT to be cold to her child who is leaving the clan. but again, what choice does she have?
