I made an altar!

I mean,I know it's not Much buy it's a start? I hope lady Iris appreciates it. I offered the stuff you see there but I wish I could give her more. Time will tell. Now I have to document myself on how to communicate with lady Iris. I'm so happy though.

A god to consider: Iris 🌈🪽

Before the messenger Hermes, there was a different servant god who carried the words of Olympus to and thro, and her name is Iris. Daughter of the titan Thaumas, and the oceanid Electra, the colorful goddess, and personification of the rainbow, personal assistant to Zeus, Iris is a sort footed, golden winged goddess who carries out the tasks and messages of her master. In the Iliad, when Zeus sends the notice of death to Priam of his son, Iris is the one sent to inform him. Later, she would become more aligned with her loyalty to hera, becoming her envoy, and being the one who commanded lyssa to inflict Heracles with the frenzy that caused him to murder his sons at heras request. Despite this side of her, Iris is also the patron restorer of peace in nature, and the divine deliverer of heavenly messages and gifts. In modern times, some also associate her with creativity and inspiration, especially in artistry, the colors of which she is the embodiment of. Next time you see a rainbow, say a thank you to Iris, and open an ear to see if you might hear a message she carries for you…

such an interesting line in retrospect cuz yeah he said this but he still immediately went out of his way to defend iris, something which hes only ever done for edgeworth btw. like he still had faith in her despite mentally scorning her as a coward.. like was this supposed to be another example of phoenix knowing more than the player, like how in aa2 he knew abt edgeworths "suicide" while we the players didnt? is this aa3 hinting that phoenix suspected tht there mustve been another explanation for dahlia's/iris' actions? cuz if thats the case then that was horribly written lmfao.

like idkkk like id like to think that this would indicate that phoenix is internally more conflicted abt dahlia/iris than his external actions seems to show, but still its like whyyy did he go out of his way to defend iris then. he didnt have any reason to think that the girl he dated and the girl who tried to poison him were different people. or maybe he did idk. IDK the writing of iris' character was just very blwefhkjds like shes just this mysteriousss character who looks incredibly similar to our evil ex. and because spirit channelling is on the table and also bc we arent certain on what happened to dahlia we have no idea who this iris girl actually is. is she dahlia or is she not. its like i said its just... it seems to me like aa3's whole thesis is about withholding faith in a person despite all the contradictory evidence, and this is reflected in the way that phoenix still believes that the girl he dated is not the girl who tried to poison him. except with the way that aa3 is written this just makes phoenix look unhealthy and delusional bc there is no basis on why phoenix should believe that, because we never once see how phoenix remembers iris. and with this line of him calling dahlia/iris coward, but also saying this shit at the end

So, having looked over the descriptions of a few of those 'woke up in my favorite visual novel/dating sim' animes/mangas... I had an idea

Iris is bonked by a car and wakes up in her favorite visual novel as the protagonist. And she figures it out pretty quick - she's not sure it's real, especially since people from her real life have been filed into various character slots.

It's a sci-fi/fantasy world where people have powers, but the protagonist/pov character does not. So she's disappointed by this, because she wants powers. But she's got some very interesting choices for her love interests. Barry, of course, is the childhood friend option with the super speed. Eddie's the new guy in her life with a healing touch. Cisco is the guy with the soulful eyes and the ability to tell the future. Caitlin is secretly the misunderstood villainess, Killer Frost. Lisa is the suave thief trying to sweep reporter Iris off her feet; no powers, but she makes up for it in over the top plots and her Gold Gun technology.

And, well, it's probably all some kind of weird coma dream, right? So no harm in forming her own polycule/harem right? And with all the game paths practically memorized and her knowledge of the real people who've been subbed in for the characters, Iris knows exactly how to max out each love interests stats... probably.
