Top 10 Hidden Features of the iPhone (Everyone Should Know)
Tumblr media
Your iPhone is likely your constant companion, a device you rely on for communication, entertainment, and productivity. But beyond the familiar features you use every day, there's a whole world of hidden functionalities waiting to be explored. These hidden gems can enhance your iPhone experience, making you a more efficient and power user.
The world of mobile technology is constantly evolving, and the demand for skilled professionals to keep these devices functioning smoothly is high. If you're interested in a rewarding career in this field, consider enrolling in a mobile repairing course in Delhi at a reputable institute like Hi-Tech Institute. Established in 2004, Hi-Tech Institute is a leading ISO and MSME certified institute with over 20 years of experience training students in mobile repair. Their comprehensive programs equip you with the knowledge and practical skills to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of smartphone issues. The mobile repair industry offers promising career prospects, with an estimated shortage of 18 lakh mobile repairing engineers in India alone. By successfully completing a mobile repairing course, you can position yourself for a lucrative career in this growing field, potentially earning a monthly salary of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000.
Now, let's delve into the top 10 hidden features on your iPhone that you might not be aware of:
1. Back Tap: Customize Actions with a Simple Tap
Feeling limited by the standard buttons and gestures? Back Tap allows you to assign various actions to double or triple taps on the back of your iPhone. This feature is incredibly customizable, letting you perform actions like taking screenshots, launching specific apps, opening Control Center, and more. Here's how to enable it:
Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Navigate to "Accessibility" and then "Touch."
Scroll down and select "Back Tap."
Choose "Double Tap" or "Triple Tap" and assign your desired action from the list.
2. Measure App: Built-in Ruler in Your Pocket
Who needs a physical ruler when you have your iPhone? The pre-installed "Measure" app utilizes augmented reality (AR) technology to transform your phone into a handy ruler. Open the app, point your camera at an object, and it will display its dimensions on the screen. This is perfect for quick measurements on the go, from checking furniture sizes to measuring that perfect picture frame space on the wall.
3. Text Replacement: Save Time and Avoid Typos
Do you find yourself constantly mistyping the same words or phrases? Text replacement can be a lifesaver. This feature allows you to set shortcuts for frequently used words or phrases. For example, you could create a shortcut that expands "omw" to "on my way" or "ttyl" to "talk to you later." Here's how to set it up:
Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Navigate to "General" and then "Keyboard."
Select "Text Replacement."
Tap the "+" symbol to create a new shortcut.
Enter the phrase you want to replace (shortcut) and the full text it should expand to (replacement).
4. Drag and Drop: Seamless File Sharing Between Apps
Gone are the days of cumbersome file transfers between apps. With iOS, you can now leverage drag-and-drop functionality to seamlessly move text, images, and files between different applications. Simply hold down on an item (text, image, etc.) in one app, then drag it to the desired location in another app. This feature works across several native apps like Photos, Notes, Mail, and even third-party apps with drag-and-drop support.
5. Magnifier: Turn Your iPhone into a High-Powered Zoom Tool
For those with visual impairments or simply needing a closer look at something, the Magnifier tool transforms your iPhone into a powerful magnifying glass. This feature utilizes your phone's camera to zoom in on objects, enhancing details and making tiny text or intricate patterns easier to read. To activate it:
Open the Control Center on your iPhone (swipe down from the top right corner on iPhone X and later, or swipe up from the bottom on iPhone 8 and earlier models).
Locate the Magnifier icon (it might be hidden within a group of additional controls. If so, swipe left to find it) and tap to activate.
6. QuickTake for Videos Within Photos App
Don't miss a fleeting moment! The iPhone camera app allows you to quickly capture videos without switching to the dedicated video mode. Simply hold down the shutter button in portrait mode within the Photos app, and your iPhone will start recording a video. Swipe up on the shutter button to lock it in video recording mode, freeing your hand for steadier shots.
7. Live Text: Extract Text from Images Instantly
The Live Text feature is a game-changer for capturing information from the real world. Point your iPhone camera at an image containing text, such as a business card, poster, or document, and Live Text will automatically recognize and extract the text. You can then copy, share, or even translate the extracted text directly within the Photos app. This eliminates the need for manual retyping and streamlines information gathering.
8. Schedule Text Messages: Avoid Those Awkward Late-Night Messages
Ever send a text at an inopportune hour and instantly regret it? With scheduled messaging, you can compose your message beforehand and choose a specific time for it to be delivered. This can be helpful for birthday wishes, reminders, or sending information when you know the recipient might be unavailable. Here's how to schedule a text:
Open the Messages app and compose your new message.
Hold down the send button (arrow icon) and select "Schedule Send."
Choose the desired date and time for delivery, and your message will be sent automatically.
9. Reachability: Bring the Top Half of the Screen Down
For those with iPhones with larger screens, reaching the top corners with one hand can be a challenge. Reachability addresses this by temporarily bringing the top half of the screen down within easy reach of your thumb. There are two ways to activate it:
Double-tap the Home button (on iPhone 8 and earlier models) or swipe down on the bottom bar (on iPhone X and later models) with a single swipe.
The top half of the screen will move down, allowing you to access elements at the top.
Tap anywhere on the black area or swipe up on the bottom bar again to return to the full screen view.
10. Find My: Locate Your Lost or Stolen iPhone
The "Find My" app is a lifesaver if you ever lose your iPhone. This integrated service allows you to locate your device on a map, play a sound to make it easier to find nearby, or even remotely erase all data if it falls into the wrong hands. Here's how to ensure "Find My" is enabled:
Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Tap on your Apple ID banner at the top.
Select "Find My" and ensure "Find My iPhone" is toggled on.

Customize Control Center for Quicker Access
The Control Center provides a convenient way to access frequently used settings like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and brightness without going through the Settings app. However, you can personalize it further to include only the features you use most often. Here's how:
Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Navigate to "Control Center."
Under "Include Controls," you'll see a list of available options. Tap the "+" sign next to the features you want to add to Control Center.
Conversely, tap the "-" sign next to any existing controls you want to remove.
You can also rearrange the order of the controls by tapping and holding the three horizontal lines next to a control, then dragging it to the desired position.
By customizing your Control Center, you can create a more streamlined and personalized experience, allowing you to quickly access the features you need most frequently.

Seeing as how you have so many books do you ever run into the problem of buying one and then realizing you already have it when you get home? I sometimes do that after visiting used book shops!
Yes, I've 100% had that issue! I remember finding myself interested in the life of Louis Mountbatten after watching one of the seasons of The Crown, so I decided to pick up some books about him whenever I was at a used bookstore over the next couple of months. I think I ended up buying four copies of the same book. To my credit, they all were different editions of the same book, so they looked different on the outside, but they were all the same book between the covers.
I did find a solution, however. It took a little bit of time and work, but it's ended up being very helpful (and helpful with saving a little money in the long run!). I moved to a different apartment during the pandemic, so while unpacking all of my books, I just created a document on my computer with every book's title, author, and ISBN number. Now, I take a minute or two to update it every single time I add a new book to my personal library, and have a copy of the list easily accessible from my iPhone whenever I'm in a bookstore and am unsure whether or not I already have a copy of a certain book. It's also an easy and useful way to catalogue your entire personal library and keep the information fresh. There are also various library or cataloguing apps that you can use for the same reason -- many of them allow you to just snap a photo of the barcode or ISBN of a book and the app autofills all of the information it. I've used a few of those in the past*, but the simple list with the title/author/ISBN number is all I need and it's definitely helped kept me from buying something more than once.
(*If I were to recommend an app for cataloguing your personal library, I'd suggest Bookpedia. It's the best of all of the apps I've tried, simple and straightforward, easy to use, and has a clean interface without any of the clutter and crap that some of the other apps have. There was a small, one-time fee when I first started using the app, but there were no hidden, in-app purchases or features that required more money. I've been using Bookpedia for at least five years, so I'm sure there are other, newer personal library apps out there that people would recommend, but Bookpedia has had every feature I've needed out of such an app.)

Veterans’ Path, 2019.
This year’s one for stasis, an equilibrium that gave no leeway for possibility or moves. It’s not a good feeling when you’re dealing with depression after a major heartbreaker and you need some serious outs to move on. You leave it in someone’s hands to help make some of those changes. Instead, they fall short and constantly buy time, your time you’ll never have back. It doesn’t help any when doctor’s appointments, meetings with investors, pending vacation-weeks, the desire to escape to the city and see family are on the backburner for months instead of mere days, so things are never answered for. Everyday you deal with toxic, needy people who literally drain you of your resources for their own personal needs without any etiquette or consideration of your well-being or sanity. You bleed money for their failures and mistakes. You sit idle while you see your friends, allies, family, and everyday people make moves while your hands are tied tightly behind your back and there’s nothing you can do about it.
So what can you do when the high cost of auto repairs, late inspections, and the constant delivery of traffic violations and tickets keep you grounded? Nothing
except take a walk down to your local veteran’s path on your days off. It’s been the only form of escapism and a reprieve of leaving behind the disruptive anxiety-driving components back home. Walk out the front door, then along the service road and under the highway, down one clean residential street, turn a couple of corners, down another street where houses and open skies phase into heavily wooded areas, and finally you’re there.
Arrive at the veteran’s path where there’s always a pick-up game on the asphalt. Families of three, five, even seven – some with their kids on tricycles or dogs – walk together through elevated wooden plankways that zig-zag though the trees. Smell the sharp scent of apples, shampoo, or shades of ocean mist just by walking past the young Spanish girls who kindly smile and say ‘hi’ to you as you walk past them. Trees of emerald leaves in the spring or red, orange, and yellow leaves in the Autumn stand above a newly-replenished pond creating a mesmerizing near-perfect reflection. Walk off the pathways for the many heavily-wooded dirt roads or walk past the pond to find a hidden treasure: the graffiti tunnel doubling as an underpass for the railroad tracks above. Leave the veteran’s path and wash your hands at the bathroom which reeks of a church cellar and its’ soap dispensers pour out liquid lavender that makes a subtle mark on your trek. Two hours is enough time to dismiss your troubles, sort out your next moves, and even make a phone call or two to your family; all before arrive home right before sundown to catch up on the rest of the day’s posting, graphics, editing, and auditioning. Another quiet, peaceful day written in the record books.
Of course, I wouldn’t have an afternoon walk without something to listen to. My iPhone SE (32GB) replaced my seven year-old iPod Classic (160GB). With limited space, I only take about three months of finds with me. Those two hours of walking means I have more time to audition music for upcoming Omega WUSB shows. What’s in it, then? In case you truly care, it’s mostly city: d.i.y, safe-space, post-punk, indie. You can thank some of my friends and allies at the station for the first four. You can also thank Post-Trash, Brooklyn Vegan, Gold Flake Paint, and Alt-Citizen; all whose featured shining stars post their new sounds on Bandcamp and Soundcloud.
Jazz / fusion has taken me to places that no longer exist; places I never been to that I could never visit in a physical realm ever again. It makes me feel things only a very few can now imagine or understand. If someone lived or experienced it vicariously through the passing images, typesets, colors, aesthetics, and sounds that I have, then you’d understand.
Post-punk, d.i.y., or city? Not so much. The time is now and is very much alive, thriving and changing by the year because it’s here. Aesthetics of Wharf Cat, Katorga Works, Public Practice’s Distance Is A Mirror, Future Punx’s This Is Post-Wave, Gong Gong Gong’s Phantom Rhythm, Current Affairs, Boulders, Merchandise
I assure you get it by now. They, too, made me feel things to my own liking while many others in the scene are simply living in it. My aforementioned friends at the station: Conor, Layne, Toasty, Alosha, Kiki of Horrorscope
they bring their d.y.i. / city mindset to the station and it’s why Omega WUSB is feeling very proud of itself. As all this cycles in my head, it feels like I’m living another life, a life I’ve been trying to achieve. Scenarios I envision can be entirely possible and are waiting for me. I truly feel like I’m somewhere else; a place that’s very real but still far away from me
for now. That’s how powerful the connection is.
It’s been a void year for me, and such an anti-climactic way to end the decade. Only fitting after having a very wild year of extreme euphoria and collapse. The several trips to-and-from Veteran’s Path was the only thing I had to myself this year aside from a rainy Spring day out at Central Park. As a creator, you do your best in making something out of what you have. All you need is a time, location, soundtrack, and motive, and you have the makings of a new experience; a new mechanism for surviving an empty era.

Down further is our new-found interest in Oakland / Mexican death-rock. Omega WUSB didn’t have a Halloween special this year so it didn’t get its’ day in the darkness. (Were you expecting sunshine?). spencer “anti technology” reid absolutely knows how to use snapchat and it is solely for the My Eyes Only feature and its FILLED with his girlfriend. not even just the fun stuff like its pictures of her playing with dogs they meet at the park, shots of her sleepily leaning against the window on a rainy morning while she sips her tea, silly selfies shes taken when she steals his phone during dates. no one knows he has it except her, but sometimes when theyre on a really tough case, he’ll sneak away to be alone for a moment and rewatch all the little videos of her laughing and throwing pillows at him, of her on a tangent about a theory of the book shes currently reading.
Or the hidden mode in photos for iPhones, except the cloud probably worries him a little
He’d have so many photos of her that are just her doing normal things and then when he’s having a bad day he looks at them and imagines everything’s like it was when that picture was taken
Aw and imagine one time he doesn’t have his charger or can’t use his phone for some reason so he logins in to Snapchat on someone else’s phone just to see his pretty gf

Do any of my followers who are AEW fans share this very specific problem I’m having with FiteTV/TrillerTV?
I’m on the iOS app, latest version, trying to cast to a chromecast so I can watch on my tv.
In some update or other since I last watched, they got rid of that handy cast icon that all streaming services worth their salt have on their videos, know the one?
Anyway, the only way I can now find to cast to a different device is hidden deep in the settings, and asks me for a code from the device I’m casting to. Which I guess in chromecast’s case, is the Guest Mode PIN
there’s nothing else it could be, because other than that, chromecast connects automatically over the local network.
Thing is, I had to spend ages getting my chromecast to even show me that PIN
because Guest Mode was discontinued
quite a long time ago
because now chromecast is done entirely over local networks.
So unsurprisingly, that doesn’t work? Did Fite/Triller bring out a new version of the iOS app that removed a (somewhat) functioning casting system and replace it with one that relies on technology that the most common casting devices no longer support (and haven’t for some time?).
Their support site is incredibly unhelpful and often refers to older features and settings that just don’t exist anymore. Meanwhile their email response to my report has been “have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything” three times in a row. (Yes, and it made no difference at all) They seem a bit clueless but they don’t seem to be aware of any intent to make Chromecast non-functional with the update.
My chromecast works with everything else, and my network is fine too. I really, really believe it’s a problem with their app, not Google, and not my setup. But I don’t know anyone who uses it on iPhone and Chromecast and I’m going insane. I just wanna watch Sting retire 😭

Box of lies
"A present is on it’s way, keep your eyes peeled closely."
Just like Taylor is affectionately known as Tayliar, she has shown us time and again that she is the unreliable narrator. To give us a chance to see the love story hidden between the lines she has left a trail of breadcrumbs in obscure places like this series of skits, but you might just find that the use of mascots, symbolism and references to Taylor’s music foreshadowed more than just her muse

Tumblr media
The items in the box of lies game featured on the tonight show starring Jimmy Fallon are full of hidden references to Taylor's love story. Just like a game of ping pong, this skit is set up so each opponent go back and forth as they attempt to bluff each other by describing what's in their box. This typically starts with the guest picking a box from the shelf as they take turns, so these are in order unless otherwise stated.

Silver-Spotted Tiger Moth Caterpillar - Lophocampa argentata
In addition to a video featuring this furry insect, my dear friend has also gifted me with some images to provide a better view of this fluffy insect. As mentioned earlier, this individual could have been seeking a secluded pupation area when it was found, at least if its size is any indication. With its large size combined with significant hair coverage and the presence of those short, darkened tufts, its fair to guess that this may be the final instar. It's astonishing to learn that this fuzzy Caterpillar grows so large from eating mostly conifer needles, but insects have proven time and again that they are extremely adaptable when it comes to meeting their survival needs. This also includes their "safety in numbers" feeding approach whereby many of these Caterpillars will aggregate and feed together on a pine branch beneath a tent of webbing. It's only when it's time to pupate that this specie will leave its siblings and find hidden areas in the undergrowth to pupate. The adult Moths emerge for the summer months (lending more credence to this individual being in its final instar, and factoring in pupa development time).
On the subject of the adults, the Moths trade in their irritating, rash-inducing hairs for sable-like thoracic hairs and a set of magnificent brown and white wings. The brown forewings are adorned with rows, patterns and blotches of silver spots, hence their common name. In comparison, the Silver-Spotted Skipper (a very, very distant specie on another branch in the order) has been noted for its prominent singular whitish-silver spot along its forewing. While the common nomenclature between the two Lepidopterans is the same, the application of the two is varies. The Silver-Spotted Skipper may be more prominent due to its size, daytime activity and its visibility near flowers, but this Moth specie has many more spots to enjoy, and a specie name rooted in silver (argentata comes from argentum, meaning silver (hence why "Ag" represents silver on a periodic table). To catch a potential glimpse of the adults at the beginning of spring or mid-summer (if you're on the west coast), keep a close eye on pine trees and nearby flowers, especially if they have been fed on previously. Their spots should make them easy to, well, spot. As Moths, they are drawn to these trees to place eggs on them, not to feed on them.
Pictures were taken on May 20, 2024 in Squamish with an iPhone X.

iPhone has a built-in "white noise" feature
I don't know who needs to hear this, but it felt like something I wanted to share. I had tried an app that provided white noise with a couple of other options, but I didn't like it because with my headphones connected on the lowest volume setting, it still felt "too loud".And then I stumbled upon a built in feature on the iPhone! I am running iOS 16.2 (it looks like I have an update I need to install), so I don't know exactly when this got added in, but seriously, there are some pretty great features hidden away in the Accessibility settings. For this one, go to Settings -> Accessibility -> Audio/Visual (under "Hearing") -> Background Sounds.  This works with or without headphones and is scaled based on your media volume setting and the volume set in this section. (After setting a "base value" in these settings and turning on the background noise, you can adjust the volume with volume buttons as you would regular media).  There's also an option to have the background noise continue playing when media is playing, with a separate base volume.  It also has an option to turn off the background noise when your phone is locked. There are six different types of background noise, a "Balanced Noise" that resembles a typical white noise type of thing, a "Bright Noise" and "Dark Noise" that are either higher or lower pitches of the balanced noise, as well as options for Ocean, Rain, and Stream. Between the in-settings volume slider and the system media volume level, you should be able to set the background noise as quiet (or as loud) as you want.tl;dr: iPhone Settings -> Accessibility -> Audio/Visual -> Background Sounds”

Why Apple's 2nd Gen UWB Chip is Exciting?
With over 10 years of experience in spatial and location technologies, including Bluetooth, Ultra Wideband, and Cellular IoT, we at Estimote are thrilled about the newly announced iPhone 15 and its upgraded second-generation Ultra Wideband chip.
In this blog post, we'll explain why we're excited, we will try to forecast the potential use-cases of this second-gen chip, and highlight the opportunities for developers to create groundbreaking context and location-aware apps.
SPATIAL AWARENESS
Many people aren't aware, but every iPhone from the iPhone 11 onwards has a hidden super-power. It can measure the distance and orientation to nearby phones or other compatible devices. Think of it as an invisible string connecting your phone to objects with AirTags attached, a HomePod, or even your car.
Tumblr media
This super-power is made possible by the first generation Ultra Wideband chip (U1 chip). This chip is a small radio transmitter that sends, receives, and processes tiny radio signals. These signals are so low-power that they're almost indistinguishable from the background noise in a broad range of frequencies (5-9 GHz). That's why it's called Ultra Wideband, or UWB for short.
Whenever a nearby device communicates with an iPhone using UWB, the phone calculates the duration of this interaction. The greater the distance, the more time it takes for the radio signal to make the round trip. The U1 chip then multiplies this travel time by the speed of light to determine the inch-level distance to nearby phones or tags.
iPhones equipped with the UWB chip use this distance data to create magical user experiences. For instance, when you AirDrop files to friends close by or search for your misplaced keys, your iPhone directs you to the corresponding AirTag. And when you walk into your living room your music can seamlessly start playing on your HomePod. These are just a few examples of what the U1 chip offers, and there's so much more on the horizon.
LOWER POWER UWB CHIP
The new iPhone 15 as well as new Apple Watch Series 9 feature a second-generation UWB chip. Reports indicate that a primary difference with that model is the shift in the chip manufacturing process from 16nm to 7nm. This simply means that the transistors have become smaller. As a result, they use less energy and switch more quickly, leading to enhanced performance, greater range, and new possibilities.
Why is power consumption so crucial? Reduced power usage can result in a superior user experience and introduce entirely new use-cases and applications. For instance, with the new UWB chip, new AirTags when upgraded could last up to 2-3 years on a single coin battery, as opposed to the current 1-year lifespan with the U1 chip.
Having more transistors also means stronger computing power, better signal processing, and more effective noise filtering. This is why Apple also announced a 3x improvement in UWB range and unveiled a new precision finding feature for the Find My app to locate friends around.
UNTRACKED INDOOR LOCATION
Another potential future application of the lower power UWB chip might involve a technique named Downlink TDoA. This stands for "time difference of arrival," a new standard championed by the FiRa organization. It lets UWB-enabled phones passively receive signals from UWB beacons or anchors.
Imagine your car in a tunnel where GPS is unavailable. UWB beacons in the tunnel transmit radio signals to your phone. Your phone captures these signals, and using the time difference of their arrival, it can calculate the exact position of the car inside the tunnel. With Downlink TDoA, beacons don't collect any data from to the phone. The precise location is determined solely by the UWB chip on the phone. This approach is seen as safer and more privacy-centric than traditional real-time location systems (RTLS). As a result, it's often referred to as Untracked Indoor Positioning.
This innovative, privacy-centric way of determining indoor positioning could also be applied in airports, malls, museums, and more. It could effectively deliver what the iBeacon promised years ago, but with inch-perfect accuracy and superior security.
To make such experiences possible, a low-power UWB processor like the second-gen chip is essential. The phone would need to constantly detect UWB signals from nearby beacons, and it's crucial that this happens efficiently.
SPATIAL COMPUTING AND VISION PRO
There's also speculation that the UWB chip may eventually interact with Apple's new smart glasses. This makes a lot of sense. Currently, Vision Pro determines its spatial orientation in a room using computer vision and image processing. Using the UWB chip and radio signals for this purpose would use order of magnitude less power. Preserving power could allow Apple to design more compact and lighter smart glasses in the future.
FUTURE APPLICATIONS OF UWB
Ultra Wideband technology has many more uses than just distance positioning. It was originally developed for military use in radars. Essentially, UWB signals sent from the phone could reflect off nearby objects and return to the UWB chip. By examining these reflections phone can identify the shape, orientation, or movement of objects.
RADAR AND HEALTH MONITORING
There are many research papers where UWB radar is used to count people in a room or even detect human heartbeats. Given Apple's focus on health & fitness, it's entirely possible for future iPhones equipped with UWB on your nightstand to monitor heart rate or breathing. Non-contact monitoring could be useful for elderly individuals living alone or young children. It could identify falls or irregular heartbeats and notify caregivers or family members. This might not be implemented on the second-gen processors, but could be expected from the future UWB revisions and the new software.
HANDS-FREE PAYMENTS
Another potential use for an improved UWB chip could be in payments. While NFC has been popular for close-range payments, UWB could transform the entire experience. Imagine approaching a payment terminal, and without needing to pull out your phone or move it near the terminal, the payment is processed securely. This technology might lead to genuinely hands-free shopping. Customers could just grab items and leave the store. With devices powered by the UWB chip communicating with other UWB-enabled tags and payment terminals, the items someone has would be detected, and the cost automatically taken from the associated account, all while ensuring security through spatial authentication.
Beyond shopping, UWB could also make peer-to-peer payments easier. Instead of sifting through apps, just being nearby could prompt a payment screen on your iPhone, asking if you want to split the bill, recognizing your friend's device by its spatial position.
ACCESS CONTROL AND HANDS-FREE AUTHENTICATION
Finally, Apple's new second-gen UWB chip, can revolutionise the way we access and interact with spaces. Imagine arriving at a hotel. As you approach your room, the door recognises your smartphone and automatically unlocks without you having to fumble for a keycard or even touch the door.
Workplaces, especially those that involve machinery or secure data access, can benefit from hands-free authentication. Consider a research laboratory with multiple machines and computers. Instead of using passwords, keycards, or fingerprint scans, devices equipped with UWB sensors could detect the presence of an authorised UWB chip-carrying employee and unlock automatically.
The incorporation of the second generation UWB chip into a broader range of devices could dramatically transform the way we interact with the world, making our experiences smoother, more intuitive, and more secure. From hotels to workplaces, the possibilities for hands-free access and seamless interactions are vast and exciting. If you are interested to learn more about UWB and differences between BLE and UWB see our other blog-post about our UWB Beacons and try Nearby Interactions API and our SDK building next-gen mobile apps.

Why has the entire last episode of Hidden Agenda been filmed using the portrait feature on an iPhone. Everything is blurry and weird. With Zo’s weird white jacket I was half convinced the whole thing was a dream sequence.
