Introducing Mr. Strawberry and his faithful pet companion, Mellony!

I don’t know much about Mr. Strawberry, but I hear he is a trickster. Mellony blindly and happily follows him around assisting in his schemes, she wants to be just like him. They’re fun to have around! Never said safe though.

I have decided that this piece will be called “The New Baby”, but I should note that the baby was acquired by means of removal from his original home. They snatched him. It’s basically theft. But can you blame them?? I myself can’t resist tiny things, ironically it’s a big problem for me! Okay anyway so I don’t want to brag, I actually HATE bragging, but the lil baby creature came out sooooo much cuter than I planned. If you squeeze him, he squeaks and puffs out air like a teeny tiny dog toy! Also purrs like a kitten. Reallllly cute, you guys. You’d snatch him from his home too.

I have no idea what to put in the background so any helpful or unhelpful ideas are welcome. But for now let’s celebrate my first “finished” digital painting, and maybe I’ll add on more to it later, maybe!

Today I am revamping my tumblr to have a place to post my new work, sketches and works in progress, and whatever else l think is cool!

This is my nearly finished painting from my sketchbook, a wimmelbild style with lots of cutesy but peculiar goings-ons. It might be hard to see in the photo but lots of paint is globbed on a bunch of spots where I repainted a zillion times.
