I shall ramble again, but this time abt Remus

So we all know how literally Logan takes things right

But we also know that Remus has a tendency to take things literally, I just think it goes underaddressed {unless I just haven't found the discussion yet lolsies}.

Like I'm sure Remus can figure out what they meant

...eventually. Like it takes him anywhere from 2mins - like 48hrs to understand the joke. And so there is a period of time where he just, looks at you like ur the idiot, or takes ur joke as a serious instruction.

But when he finally figures out the joke his laugh is loud and obnoxious; no matter the time of day

There have definitely been times where the other sides have woken up due to Remus finally getting a joke at like 1:30 am

Thinking about my Intrulogical AU and about Remus having Pure O OCD, and Logan constantly using the "say something random to short circuit the spiral" hack on him all of the time.

Like, Remus is tail spinning about whether or not he's accidentally manipulated Logan into being in a relationship with him, going off about how he's as bad as Logan’s ex, and probably triggered a bunch of trauma for Logan and Logan looks deeply into his beloved's eyes and very seriously says something like "Pizza bites are pizza ravioli".

And Remus just freezes for a full ten seconds before going "God, I love you!".

Sometimes they actually have a discussion about whatever batshit nonsense Logan threw out, or go on a googling tangent, other times they just makeout because it's a grounding activity and otherwise Remus might actually start to cry.

The Game

Summary: Logan and Remus decide they want to play a certain game with Thomas. And they will. Much to the distress of both him and a certain anxious side.

Tw: Knives, it's implied that they're going to play the Knife Game so uhhh watch out, general character distress, intrulogical if you squint? Logan and Remus are kinda psycho in this so uh that too.

Virgil sat across from Thomas. Forced to stare him down as Remus held him back. Logan stood behind Thomas, a disgustingly soft smile on his face.

"Now Thomas," Logan leaned down, his head right next to Thomas'.

"We're going to play a game, alright?" He asked so gently, arm snaking down Thomas', merging at the wrist. Their hand drifted slowly to the kitchen knife on the table. Picking it up and flipping it in their grip so it pointed downwards.

"I don't- this isn't a game," Thomas whimpered "I don't want to play this!"

The knife slammed into the table, an inch from where his left hand stayed splayed out. Virgil's breath hitched.

"Ah, but you don't really get a choice now, do you?" Logan questioned, not expecting an answer. Virgil's trembling turned to squirming at this, attempting to get out of Remus' hold.

"Thomas-" Remus' grip tightened to nearly bone crushing, the air forced out of his lungs as he tried to speak.

"Nuh uh uh Virge-y!" Remus sang out, voice grating in Virgil's ear.

"You have to stay niiiice and still while Logan and Thomas play! Right Logie?" He giggled like a child, nuzzling up against Virgil like this was a joke. A game that couldn't possibly have any repercussions.

"That's correct, Remus," Logan's voice sliced through his thoughts, and he finally looked back up and the two sat in front of him. Thomas looked terrified, unable to stop trembling. He stared with wide eyes at the table just passed his hands, like if he didn't look nothing would happen.

Logan...god Logan. It was terrifying how lively he looked. His eyes gleamed as he stared back at Virgil, the same soft smile he held when talking to Thomas. Virgil doesn't think he's seen him look so happy in years.

And god does he not want to see it again.

"Virgil," Logan said, voice stern and face cold, a stark contrast to the warm look he had mere moments ago.

"You are going to watch Thomas and I, and you will keep still and quiet. And you will keep Thomas still and quiet, understood?" His face shifted back to that smile.

"After all, you wouldn't want Thomas to get hurt, would you?"

Virgil wanted to scream. To run. To get him and Thomas out of here and as far from this fucked up situation as possible. His fingers itched to claw at Remus' arms. To fight his was out of his hold and run Logan into the ground. If it were only that easy.

"O-okay," his voice barely above a whisper as he nodded. He couldn't scream, couldn't run. He was stuck, frozen in place. Logan grinned, wide and unnatural.

"Good."
