i think i got blessed by the cosplay gods again because i was looking for fake leather for some armour and i managed to find 2 identical xl leather jackets AND a tablecloth in the exact right colour

#ramble #cosplay #i actually hope i find another jacket bc one of them is really nice and i might keep it asdjfdhd #would recommend thrifting for cosplay fabric bc it ends up being £10 of material vs £50+++#my isobel coat is also made of a tablecloth :3 #i didn't want to buy a roll of fake leather bc it's too expensive for my first time making leather armour lmao #i know fake leather is plastic but i would rather make something than have them go in the bin y'know #this isn't even for next week this is for mcm in may bc i'm starting my job soon and i will have No free time

Hello! I wasn’t planning to do a render today but here we are 😂 I was listening a lot to ‘Test & Recognise (Flume Re-Work)’ and it made me think of my Dagger boys. The song feels so soul-crushing, kinda like the JTFD universe! 😂

Can you see? I added their patches I designed too! 🎉 I rendered two slightly different versions, one with some other members and one as a poster version 🤔

Bit of lore: Lachlan and Damien were the original ‘founders’ of JTFD, but created for a different smaller reason - before ‘Project Nightfall’ was first discovered/activated in Sydney Metro (2024).

it’s funny because their colour scheme is blue, idk how it ended up red 😂😂

Before I started reading the Iliad, I thought it was just going to be epic descriptions of burly men in glorious combat with some God shenanigans. Sure that's in there. But, I find that large sections of text are dedicated to describing the men and boys who are dying.

He was the son of parents who loved him who will find his honorable death a poor balm for their pain. He has dreams and talents that will go undone. He was a joy to those around him, and now that joy is snuffed out. He swam in this river, but will never do so again. He had a lover whose bed will now be cold.

War may bring some abstract sense of glory, but the cost is incalculable.

He was a soldier. But he was also a human.

And now he is a few lines in a poem.

Blood turned to ink.
