Hmmmmm.

So the thing is, I don't know that he'd immediately make the connection between gay targaryen incest and regular brother-sister targaryen incest. It's not to say that he wouldn't be hung up on the incest aspect of it, but I do think the gay part of it would throw Daeron a lot more than the incest part. I also think it depends on exactly what they're doing - like who is bottoming basically, and I think he is going to see whoever is the top as the aggressor, and he's going to conflate this with his father's sexual affairs rather than with the aegon/naerys/aemon love triangle.

I think Myriah is likely to be a bit more normal about it. When you look at like, the way everyone sees the Renly/Loras affair as extremely goofy behavior from both of them, or Jaime straight up being like "Oberyn fucks dudes he's not worthy to fight for my brother," the people in Dorne are very respectful of Oberyn and his sexuality. It's like, just another cool part of him; he's so deadly, he's so smart, he's so hot he pulls men AND women. I'm sure there would be a different take on this if he had a long term male lover instead of Ellaria (hashtag Willas/Oberyn is real) but ultimately, Oberyn's status as a second son with a very permissive brother makes his sexuality just like, part of his rascally nature. So I think whereas Myriah would be really stuck on "oh my god my sons are fucking" I think once she realizes Daeron is stuck on the "my sons who are both men are fucking" aspect she's gonna be like "I mean....well it's not like they'll be making any bastards this way, which is only a plus for us right now."

I think there would be an initial push to separate them and marry them off in an attempt to straighten them out (lol) but I think if Baelor or Maekar kick up a fuss about it, Daeron won't push back very hard so long as they're both married and having kids. Personally, I think this whole thing might kinda freak Daeron out - I guess my read on him is someone who is like, suuuuper straight laced, not dissimilar from Ned when it comes to sex and marriage, and the idea that his son and heir is having an extramarital affair AND as Myriah helpfully points out, is having that affair with his BROTHER absolutely triggers some unresolved feelings about his father. I think Myriah would eventually take a sort of “well that’s just targaryens for you” esque stance, but Daeron takes a much longer time to stop being weird over it. I think for him it’s like, a conflation of extra marital affairs with sexual abuse, and then very likely conflating bottoming with sexual abuse as well. Both Baelor and Maekar are dutiful sons however, and all four (parents and sons) live long enough that I think Daeron might take a Corlys stance of like “well he did what i told him to do so what more can I ask” eventually but I think it would be a long road of Baelor trying to truly convince his father that his attraction to men has nothing to do with any sort of abuse.

When it comes to Charlie's reaction to the divorce, you know how she is. She's more likely to be affected by the feelings of the people around her rather than just concentrating on her own worries. Her mom had long been growing distant from them, so she was hardly surprised. Lilian looked rather assured of her choices and Charlie could adjust. It was just nice to see her mom look freed. Like she could start anew and be excited for it. But her father... Her poor father- Lucius -took it hard. She's always been closer to her upbeat dad than Lilian. But there was a period of time after everything was finalized that her dad just... shut off. From everyone and as close as they were before that, this hurt Charlie more than anything. More than the divorce even! She basically had to grow up relying on herself for 4 years. Without the power and influence her canon self had. (Which surprisingly made her less naive than canon Charlie. Experiencing all of humanity as a human herself without being sheltered and without bias. Both the good and the bad laid unfiltered before her.) Charline's dad was physically there, but he was barely holding on enough to be called emotionally or mentally present in her life. It was an awkward period for them and Charlie was only beginning to develop herself then too. She was basically the Octavia to Lucius' Stolas. Her temperment easily affected by mood swings and hormones like most teenagers. A sensitive, broody, and confused mess, both Magnes were. It was only when the father and daughter duo broke down their walls and reaffirmed how much they needed and missed each other that everything started changing again, but for the better. It was also at this time that they would later hire a most eccentric host into their home who calls himself Alastor. Hope this helps ya! ^v^

i said it the first time i watched, but i again find it really interesting that bison is the one questioning ruerat when he tells them about lilly, but it’s fadel questioning how much of it is true when theyre alone. and like i think it comes down to bison’s impulsiveness vs fadel’s instinct to think things through.

like bison’s first instinct is to not at all believe that their mother isn’t who she says she is and to kill ruerat for claiming otherwise, whereas fadel stops him to be like “well what if he’s telling the truth?” fadel wants for them to have all the information, and only once they have it does he question it, but also when they have it you have bison ready to kill lilly instead. and like yeah it’s also about the stages of grief and denial for both of them, but i think the when of their denial again says a lot about each of them.

especially with how bison jumps to killing lilly immediately and fadel has to get him to calm down in order for them to come up with a plan. which is exactly the same way it happened when they found out about style and kant’s betrayal!

The juxtaposition in this image is beautiful and scary at the same time. Where our Cir is standing in a completely empty white room that resembles a padded cell/seclusion room, reflecting as Mame calls it 'a person with a blank brain, representing Cirrus mind in our world' - OtherWorld!Cir is standing in a seemingly functional operations room.

As we've come to learn in this scene (and in the bts!) Other World!Cir is the brains behind this all. He's the one who shows our Cir the dream sequence with Phu. ("How does it feel to see a different future?")

And I wonder, if the multiverse truly exists and it isn't just in Cir's mind (an argument can be made that's it's happening inside his head anyway but that's besides the point kdjbfkjsdf) and OtherWorld!Cir is the brains behind it - then how many Cir's were too cowardly to reply to Phu back in high school? How many Cir's never actually got together with him? How many Cir's have never broken free from his mother's control over them? How many times has OtherWorld!Cir seen his/their own cowardice ruin every Cir's lives?

How long did it take OtherWorld!Cir before he had to step in and take control? And how many times has it not worked, the Cir from those universes too ruined beyond repair to ever live a normal life?

The questions are endless and I'm so interested in learning more about him, though I doubt we will.

So I’m like what if they don’t have that 13 years thing anymore but still Titan powers? In this AU, I wonder how things would've turned out. Part of the urgency in canon events through S4 was that Eren's time was running out and so was Zeke's. Eren's desperation to get something done before he died was a substantial portion of the "reckless-ness" of his actions, so now, what if Ymir didn't have a curse at all? What if the power of the titans was eternal because of Ymir's desire to always be connected to other people?

I don't really reckon things would be much different for Paradis. The military and technological prowess of other nations is still advancing, and Marley's still hell-bent on attacking Paradis. Hatred for the Eldians is still strong and rampant. The only difference is that the shifters do not have an expiration date, but they cannot afford to "wait" because Paradis could be attacked anyday.

From a more personal standpoint, I think... the feelings would be complicated. Sure, it's great to not die so soon, but carrying around the titan power for the rest of eternity? This actually gives rise to the question of how inheritance works in this AU. Do you still have to eat a shifter to transfer their powers? Can you have children? Do children automatically become inheritors? What if you died childless, would the inheritance be random selection? So many questions to ponder...

Okay, I got distracted, back to the personal emotions xD I don't see a lifelong responsibility to carry shifting powers as good news. This actually sets the stage for the possibility of being put to task for horrible things as long as you prove good and useful, and for suffering the ensuing guilt of it all. Moreover it is loss of bodily control for whatever length of time - those that need your power will dictate how you use it and how often you transform into the monster, which is, let's admit it, not a nice profession to be known for.

But WE want to see the Female Titan kick ass and the Colossal Titan nuke things without dying in 13 years - AND I"M ALL FOR IT!
