IT’S ONE OF THOSE GUYS, AGAIN. The ones who think they’re being so intelligent and so insightful by being contrary. And cynical. Acting like it’s already over before it’s even started. Even outside of the tech sphere, they’re a dime a dozen aren’t they? Her lips press together as she racks for an appropriate response; she’s never been great at debates. 

Doesn’t it get exhausting after a while? Nell wants to ask instead. We’re not built to keep our heads down; that’s why doctors insist on practicing good posture.

"You're here! Hiii!" The fluffy-haired excitedly ran up to Nell and hugged her tightly, she was nervous for a moment she wasn't going to make it to her family's Christmas party. Lucy seemed to have a large extended family at seemed have a large extended family as they all were chatting or finding their own activities to do in the old-fashioned house of her grandmother.

"Are you hungry? We just set up everything, so we still got a lot of food. My abuela and my ty-ty make the best food like that spread is just so good! Oh, and I helped some too--I made cinnamon cookies and you'll love 'em!" Her speech seemed to go so fast as she kept talking, but that just shows how excited and happy she was to have a fun family party and the fact that Nell could be part of it.

Benji had woke up with his new 'gift' in overdrive. It was so early when he woke, and no matter what he took, the voices wouldn't leave. The thoughts were so intrusive. He wasn't able to think of things he needed to. He hoped a run would be enough to clear his head and keep him sane. His calls to his brother were going unanswered so he hoped the brisk air would calm him. As he reached the french quarter, he slowed, bringing his hands to his face, rubbing it. He sat himself down to the ground, sitting below a tree, head in his knees. As he heard another crushing grass beneath their feet, he answered without looking up. "Sorry, I'm not really very good company at the minute..." he admitted.
