the minute you arrived home from the concert, bayani ran up to you and grabbed onto your waist, clutching it desperately.

whether you were interested in the popstar or not didn’t matter. bayani would be on his knees, pleading for an explanation. he would spiral into a pit of self-deprecation, thinking he wasn’t good enough for you, so you went off with someone more attractive and more talented than him. he wouldn’t blame you at all. he wouldn’t be mad at you at all. he’d be mad at himself for not pleasing you enough.

if you weren’t interested in the popstar and it was simply a publicity stunt, you would have to gently hold bayani in your arms to calm him down and explain. he would be SO relieved. he’d still be upset, though. he would be relieved that you’re still interested in him, but he’d also be jealous someone got to kiss and hold you in front of millions of people. bayani would never tell you that, though. he’d try to suck it up and pretend that he’s cool with it, but you can tell he’s really upset (he’s a terrible liar) and you would have to reassure him that you’ll never do it again.

if you WERE interested in the popstar… uh wtf are you doing here?? jkjk but if you were actually dating the popstar, bayani would be crushed. he would probably beg you to stay with him and forget about the popstar, but he'd ultimately fail to convince you. he’s desperate, but he isn’t stubborn. if you rejected him over and over as he begged, he’d get the hint and leave you alone. he just wants you to be happy. as much as he hated seeing you with someone else, he’d want you to live your life however you want.

if you left him, bayani would fall into a deep depression, thinking he failed you. he would never be happy again. he would hate himself for messing up what could've been his perfect life. he could’ve been with you. he could’ve lived happily ever after as your servant for the rest of his life, but he wasn't good enough for you. even though you were the unfaithful one, he’d still believe you were the one in the right. it would haunt him for the rest of his life until he died.

sorry for the long rant in advance, but I'm so fucking done with this situation. "people are picking apart my story's inconsistencies and not his" what inconsistencies? so far there hasn't been a single contradiction in his story, but plenty in yours. "the people siding with him are his friends" i have no idea how tf this is a valid point in any way. guess who are the people siding with her instead? her friends, who have shown distaste for the dream team. she's trying to allege bias, but are we supposed to believe her friends are not biased? ghostie's recount of the story isn't even consistent with caiti's. the whole comment about people finding out who she was vagueing makes me think the coat of anonimity of the person she was accusing made her more inclined to exaggerate parts of her story. that anonymous person can't defend themself, so parts of the story could be omitted or exaggerated. the way she spoke about it in her first stream gave me the impression it was supposed to be another vague, like rue with her "abuse enabler behind the scenes". Like she was just trying to say "this is another reason not to trust this vague circle of evil people that i'm not going to name but everyone knows who it is". like it was supposed to be a cautionary tale or something. but if people figuring out the identity of the person she was accusing really wasn't her intention, she must be like. really naive. it's like she was trying to bring awareness to this "evil person" without facing the reprocussions of making a public accusation. i really don't think she was trying to go for clout or whatever, and i do think her feelings of disgust and sadness were genuine, but they should've been gone over with a therapist by her side. not shared to millions of reactionary people on the internet.

Overall I really think the treatment of Shelby by caiti and those close to her during this whole thing is painful to watch and its a shame that Shelby's story of a traumatic relationship of repeated abuse got overshadowed by this because that doesn't help anyone.

So, every once in a while, I have to rant about something online before I just start blabbing to some poor unfortunate Wendy's employee about niche internet pornography. Sometimes in the middle of that rant I realize I might be onto something, and have to share it with others who might benefit.

Today, that subject is the Omegaverse, and the squandered potential for worldbuilding therein.

Now, this post is gonna have some very broad generalizations about the genre, because while I'm certain there's plenty of authors who do put a lot of thought into the pedantic details I'm about to have a Category 5 Autism Event about, it's been difficult to find them amongst a sea of painfully mediocre fics.

For every stellar Locked Tomb Omegaverse fic set in a modern day Taco Bell (Seriously, I want to engrave Double the Meat onto a satellite and launch it into space so that extraterrestrials can see the peak of human civilization) there's like... a million and one Alpha Male/Omega Female pairings written by Conservative Mormon housewives that dare to ask such questions as "What if a man and a woman could have a baby?" and "What the hell is consent?"

But I'm not here to be mentally ill about yet another space being drowned in heteronormativity. Nor am I gonna be a dick about the first fics written by teenagers who're just dipping into fan communities, because my terminally online since the age of 11 ass would be a huge hypocrite for that.

No, instead I'm here to talk about genitals, and deliver just enough sciencey technobabble to justify my passionate opinions about the potential of what is, ostensibly, werewolf porn.

So, for those who've somehow gotten through all these paragraphs but have zero idea what the Omegaverse is, the basic gist is that there are three sex categories that're separate and occur within the usual sexes that humans already have. Effectively, this means that male, female, and intersex individuals can also be Alphas, Betas, or Omegas.

So, to understand these categories, there's a pretty simple rule. Alphas can get Omegas pregnant, regardless of physical sex. Sometimes Alphas are bigger than normal, and Omegas are more petite, but that's not quite as much of a core "rule" to follow, and more just dependent on people's tastes. Betas usually follow standard human dimorphism, though I have seen some people headcanon them as a sort of halfway point between Alpha and Omega.

There's some more details, too, like the presence of knotting (where the base of the penis swells and prevents pulling out during orgasm), heat cycles and rut (where the mating instinct goes into fucking overdrive in the most literal sense), pheromones, bite marking, and sometimes that whole... imprinting thing from Twilight.

So, taking this all into account... Omegaverse fiction has the potential for a BARE MINIMUM of 6-9 SEXES before even taking the vast spectrum of gender identities and presentations into account.

Do you see what I'm on about now? When our society is still struggling with the concept of being nonbinary, and barely ever even acknowledges intersexuality as existing, any Omegaverse setting would be radically different on a biological, psychological, and sociological level.

Can ya see now why I get frustrated when it gets stripped down to compulsive heterosexuality with wolf dicks?

Now, with all the standard tropes laid out like this, we get back to the question that started this all, the question that should be a no brainer when it comes to smut... What them genitals look like? What does a female Alpha, or a male Omega have down there? I have three concepts in mind, and explanations on how they could work from a scientific perspective that's just barely not bullshit enough to overcome suspension of disbelief!

So, the first thought, and the one that initially appeals to me as a nonbinary person... they just look trans. This concept is really simple to work with, because we can just look at real life trans people and just tweak things a little bit. Maybe primary and secondary sexual characteristics operate independently naturally, or maybe there's HRT for it. It's a pretty common method, too, and I enjoy seeing it... but it feels like it needs something more?

Don't get me wrong, this one's basically my personal gold standard for shorter Omegaverse stories, especially fanfiction, but it's also just... swapping parts around. Great for ease of access, but hard to differentiate from the trans experience. Definitely a go-to if you want to play with transition in an alternate society, though.

For the other two, I have to explain a bit about fetal development and reproductive organ equivalents. Also a bit of genetics, too, because it's where we're gonna fuck around and build a lot of theoretical bullshit around a little bit of real knowledge.

So! Some of you may have heard that every fetus starts as female, but might not know some of the mechanisms at work when that changes, and how finicky they can be. This is also fun to throw at TERFs, because ambiguity throws a wrench in the simplistic arguments of reactionary bigots. :)

So, the usual arrangement of sex determining genes is often simplified to XX=female and XY=male. This leaves out other variations like Klinefelter syndrome (XXY) which affects 1 in 500 people under the AMAB umbrella, causing some degree of infertility, autism symptoms, and a somewhat androgynous body shape. (I've been checked for this one! It came up negative, but reading about it was enlightening.)

Now, the presence of a Y chromosome (usually) causes the proto-organs to change function, and develop into the male-aligned reproductive systems at roughly, say... 6-8 weeks? (Unless, of course, there a deficiency in the 5α-Reductase enzyme, which causes a delay in some of this process, resulting in a child that appears female, then just... grows a dick during puberty when the higher levels of testosterone overcome the deficiency and finish off the primary sexual trait development.)

Hey, wanna know the fun thing? Even that is an oversimplification. The whole Y chromosome doesn't mean shit unless the sex-determining region Y gene is in the right place. It can just... fuck off and attach to the X chromosome. If this mutation occurs in XY individuals, it causes Swyer's syndrome, resulting in a female aligned reproductive system that just doesn't include functioning ovaries, just purposeless ambiguous gonads. Pair that fucky X chromosome with another X chromosome, and you get a male with XX chromosomes.

Plus, if someone has a faulty androgen receptor? Well, partial androgen insensitivity can leave things ambiguous, but if it just doesn't work at all? Yeah, everything will develop along the female blueprint, despite the fact that the gonads are testes.

I swear this is still about the porn.

So, with the information we have about these real, existent conditions, we have a good idea of reproductive development, and the mechanisms at play. Now, there's still some theory that's not been definitively proven yet, but the current consensus on the primary sexual equivalents are as follows:

The clitoris forms into the penis, while the vaginal canal doesn't form.

The ovaries become testes, or stay as undefined gonads.

The salpinx become the vas deferens (these are the tubes that transfer eggs or seminal fluids, respectively. More on this later.)

And finally, and the most theoretical, the uterus is believed to become the prostate. (There's sometimes a little pocket, or divot in the prostate, and the arrangement makes sense, but it's still up for debate.)

But how do we use this for our fuck fics, you ask? How do we take your failed medical career, and translate it into Destiel's babies ever after? Well, it's quite simple! We just have to add the bullshit!

So, most alterations to the SRY gene or the androgen receptor tends to just wholesale alter the whole array, and the midway point usually results in infertility and difficulty with sexual function, but what if we could change this? What if, for the purpose of our fiction, we can mix and match everything, and somehow make it all functional and neat? Well, fasten your fuckin' seatbelts, because we're finally at the theories I made while delirious due to a combination of sleep deprivation and the after effects of eating an entire ice cream cake to myself over the weekend.

So, the firmest idea, and the idea I'll be using because I am WAY too deep into this to not write Omegaverse unironically, is what I've dubbed the Primary/vestigal system for f!A and m!O characters.

So, this theory would require that we shove two things into suspension of disbelief. One, we have to completely fuck with androgen and estrogen receptors to mix and match the development of primary and secondary sexual characteristics. Two, I have absolutely no idea how you'd be able to tell when this is going to occur. Maybe genetic testing, or maybe it's just a surprise? Depends on your style of story.

Effectively, we'd base this off the delayed primary sexual characteristic development mentioned above. Alpha Females would operate similar to the real thing, being born looking typically female, before puberty hits and the Alpha genes take over for the genital development, while secondary characteristics still follow a feminine shape. Maybe the gonads stay inside, but function as testes? Sure, sperm production is more effective around 1-2 degrees lower than normal body temperature, but it doesn't stop entirely.

For Omega Males, the process would occur in reverse. Maybe the testes just change course and go back into the abdomen to become ovaries, or maybe they don't descend at all and the first clue this is happening would just be finding a vaginal canal forming?

I like this one primarily because it feels like a less 1 to 1 allegory for being queer, but still feels kind of relatable? You can, of course, still have the end result resemble the first method mentioned waaaaay up past the sciencey bits, but I kind of like the idea of there being a vestigial remnant of the birth parts left behind. I like the ambiguity, and the chance to explore how this would affect someone appeals to me.

Now, my last theory is mostly for the lulz, but this must be DOCUMENTED for POSTERITY'S SAKE.

So, Omegaverse started with m/m shipping with mpreg, right? Well, a lot of the earlier fiction just... describes typical cis male anatomy, with zero explanation for exactly how this is all occurring. There's just... anal sex, and then that somehow forms babby.

Well, what if I told you that I've figured it out? See, remember how I mentioned that the prostate is theoretically what became of the fetal uterine tissue? Guess where the prostate is? Guess. GUESS.

THE ASS IS WHERE!

So, we just have to bullshit the prostate back into a functioning uterus, but leave the placement in close proximity to the anus. Now, the other problem is that that would mean that there's an opening leading to the colon, which... look, I have no idea how birds and lizards keep their cloaca from getting infected, but connecting other tracts to the asshole doesn't usually end well.

So, we have to find a way to seal it up when not in use. Now, the cervix serves this purpose in the real world, opening to let in fluids, or let out discharge or, y'know... a baby, but that's really expensive so most of us settle for having a breeding kink that we never act on, and instead impose on our favorite blorbos who don't have to pay for health insurance.

But still, even with a butt-cervix, bacteria's still likely to get in, so we need a firmer block. I've suggested a little flap like the epiglottis in the throat as a second line of defense. If it can protect your trachea from wayward chicken nuggets, then hey! It might not be terrible for keeping sepsis at bay!

Unfortunately, layering extra protection over the bussy business zone ain't gonna cut it. Hell, as self cleaning as the vagina is, infections happen all the damn time, even if your hygiene is good. So, we need to take that self cleaning nature, apply it to the bussy business zone, and crank it up to eleven. Just constant mucousal discharge, pushing all the bad back out.

So, yeah. Your favorite Omega Man'll have a rectal womb covered with a secondary internal assflap that's constantly discharging a steady stream of slime (just consider it free lube!), but if you can make it past that, you can live your dreams of gettin' that bussy mpregged by cumming in they gay ass. Then they'd just kinda... poop out the baby, presumably.

Someone told me they don't believe I grew up in LA.

I am fucking baffled, man. Literally gave the exact address of my old house, the Elementary and Highschool I went to, the mall I used to ride my bike to, the bike trail I used to ride my bike on, and even pointed out the highway where I rode my bigwheel and had a cop following me because he saw a 6 year old kid riding a bigwheel by himself and was like "Where are your parents" and I went "I'm not supposed to talk to strangers" and he went "Good kid" and just followed me home instead of making me get in his car to make sure I was safe cause my mom was looking for me and called the cops.

Everything you've said on this situation is something I 100% agree and stand with and honestly is such a breath of fresh air to see after spending so much time in the official Lovejoy discord.

People in there were at first being civil with their opinions despite the tense emotions, but it's quickly turning into a "Fuck Wilbur" train since many are straight up convinced he was the one Shelby was talking about, while those trying to stay neutral or are wishing Wilbur luck in changing for the better should it actually be him are being attacked. Mods have been trying to calm the attackers down but it hasn't worked too well from what I've seen. And it's only gotten worse since one of the Sr Sootmods came out and said how they're all leaving their mod positions since they're also convinced he's the abuser. What especially hurts is that one mod went into the chat and even said "Abusers will always be abusers" as if people can't genuinely change for the better.

Also, while we're all here speculating and all that, what happens if it's officially confirmed that it wasn't Wilbur and was instead one of the many other British musicians who had an ant infestation and mold problem (both of which are very common problems in the Uk from what I've heard)? This isn't something you can fix with an "Oops sorry for jumping ship without proper confirmation." Men who are like Tate

I don't particularly watch andrew tate stuff, but I use Asmongold videos as background noise, it just helps me focus for some reason and a year old video about tate popped up, so whatever, here's my opinion on this soyjack.

There's a point where Tate is going off about women, how they will cheat on you, how they will leave you and how you can't trust them and Asmongold pauses the video and say "He has a name in his mind as he's saying this. He's thinking of a specific woman."

And he's right, 100% right. Tate wasn't the persona that he is now his entire life, 10 years ago I'd bet he was a completely different person, probably even a "nice guy". Who after a few, or perhaps one really important relationship, had his heart broken and it broke him not only as a man but as a person. The only men who really, genuinely hate women, are men who have a reason to do so. I'm not saying they're right, but there's a reason they're like that, they weren't born that way and I'd argue that there was a time, a significant portion of their life in which they wanted to find love and had hope to find a good woman and then had the misfortune of meeting an awful one. They weren't born misogynists, they were made into misogynists.

The stuff he talks about and is convicted or accused of, that's not normal. 90% of men don't do those things and have no desire to do those things to women, because most men do not actually hate women. They guys who follow him, are just essentially other guys who had their hearts broken, who trusted the wrong woman and ended up being a broken person.

Furthermore, I think there are female versions of Tate, radfems that hate all men, that do shit like get male shelters closed, or encourage males to commit suicide. They're just broken women who had a really bad experience or experiences with some terrible men because they chose poorly.

These are people not to be listened to, but instead to be pitied. They will go through life hating their other sex because of what I'd argue is a small portion of both sides. There is not an epidemic of people following Tate or being radfems who hate men, they're a small percentage of people. Ergo I'd argue the trash men and women that create these groups are also small percentage of people. The internet just allows these small minorities to be very vocal and the human condition of liking drama just basically amplifies them.

Sure, thousands of young men idolize andrew tate, but most young men don't. Thousands of young men are mere drops in the millions of young men that there are, it's best to ignore them, to pity them when you have to deal with them. Okay, here's the problem with the Dune (2021)...which I say as someone who had read the book and totally enjoyed the movie...It's really not made for people who've not read the book. It was made by a Dune fan, for Dune fans.

And this is why basically no characters ever actually get proper introductions in the movie? Because Villeneuve assumes that if you're watching the movie, you've read the book and therefore know exactly who Piter De Vries is and why we should hate him. But it's never actually explained.

Which is why I always warn people who want to just go into the movie blind, that they might not enjoy it as some because they are very much not the target audience. And it's like, you might still enjoy it. One doesn't have to be a target audience to appreciate something. However I do say, look, when you see the internet losing its fucking mind over something that you thought was "meh but pretty" you're not crazy.

In many ways, this movie is incredibly niche, but because of the cast, budget and release on streaming because of Covid a TON more people sat down and watched it. I think if the first one hadn't released on HBO, it would not have gained the insane amount of popularity. It would have stayed far more under the radar, and made more around what Blade Runner 2049 made. Instead it made roughly $406 million dollars and no one will stop talking about it.

Anyway, this is a SUPER long way of saying, really glad you're reading the book and hope you enjoy it! Be warned the first 100ish pages are a little slow, but once it picks up it really picks up.

As far as I'm concerned, stay blind to all the stuff that's been debunked already, it's fully your choice. Don't take in consideration the fact (not opinion) that people who dare to question this are being silenced, that Cody and Satori lie about financial gain and how their method works. They refuse anything that would actually debunk them. In the first video during the preview they're shown without socks (picture down) yet that debunking scene never made the cut of the uncut video lol. It's left out on purpose because it clearly shows how it works. SnC "overlooked" that, not by accident.

The video below shows Cody manipulating his body parts to make sounds. Anyone with a set of eyehole holes and earhole holes will notice it. It doesn't show clearly in the clip downstairs because it's zoomed in, but in the full uncut video Cody waves his hand in this one as a magician would to distract you while performing a trick. And if you'd observed their behavior and interaction more before jumping to defend it, you'd notice they're using performative tricks like that all the time.

So none of the evidence is just my word, and it's enough for me to give them side eye instead of participating in this "the next Ed and Lorraine" obsession, on this huge platform of 10 million people they've now been given. By Scam and Colby yes, who are willingly promoting this and being dishonest on a very large scale for money. And if you think that's okay and acceptable then I am not the problem, I can assure you.

ggghhh god i fucking hate tech culture. i love computer science, it's fascinating and powerful and complex and yet the main thing it's used for is dogshit slop that's making our society actively worse. the tech industry is tapping into something that's genuinely powerful and potentially revolutionary, just open tiktok and you'll see the sheer power of data and machine learning algortitms. AI, including but not limited to generative AI, is a technological marvel! image recognition, predictive models, the entirety of the goddamn internet, it's all fucking amazing! but that's the problem, isn't it. the way our society works means that all that reality-warping power is used to extract every last drop of money, time, and attention from as many people as possible. just open tiktok and you'll see what i mean. you can only understand it if you've experienced it for yourself. imagine if a fraction of the money poured into developing reccomendation algotithms that fill every spare second of your limited time on earth with useless slop was spent developing technology that made our lives materially better. i want to work in ecological management. imagine if we spent that money on collecting environmental data? if tiktok can distill such a potent formula for extracting human attention, what would happen if we gave that power to people who actually care about helping their communities? it's unacceptable that we as actual human people are being stripped for parts by these companies, our identities are being co-opted, sanitized and crystalized into nothing but fucking content. it's genuinely horrifying. data is powerful, but instead of using data to increase our understanding we're using it to understand less. to hijack the brains of millions of people, to inject useless shit that distracts us from the fact that they'd prefer the spark of humanity inside all of us to be snuffed in favor of predictable sources of attention and ad revenue. it makes me sick. and i honestly feel like i'm being taken advantage of as someone with adhd, like these apps know where the dopamine button is in my brain and they keep fucking pressing it, keeping me hooked and distracted and out of control of my own mind. i can't help but feel almost violated. machine learning algorithms are powerful, and the control they have over our lives is sickening. i've stopped using tiktok, i dont open twitter anymore, i'm trying to stop scrolling through instagram and pinterest for hours a day. we all have to resist this slop. make bad art, listen to people's messy and genuine thoughts and share your own with real actual human people. don't let the shape of your life be dictated by an algorithm. but don't fall into the trap of being "anti-technology" either. there's a reason it's being used to control us, and it's because it's powerful. i genuinely believe that we need more technology and computer science education. they say you can't use the master's tools to dismantle the master's house, but what if all the smart and compassionate people who want to make a difference had the skills to make their own tools? of course the people in power aren't going to let that happen if they can help it, but i won't let that stop me from trying. do you know how to pirate software? do you know how to spot AI images? do you know how to protect your online identity? if not, then learn. i love the posts that go around on here sharing open-source software and peer-to-peer sharing sites, because i think it's genuinely important for people to know how to use technology critically. technology isn't magic, tech companies just want you to believe it is so you can't make informed decisions. also, please learn some basic internet safety. don't incriminate yourself on social media or in public forums. don't share any identifying information about yourself. always assume someone can see your activity unless you've made damn sure they can't.

I can't totally articulate why beyond just 'it's not worth it', but just wanted to rant here instead of fighting people on the internet lol overstimulated reading a million different posts every day about all the awful things going on in the world so sometimes you really just have to pick your battles

So I am not into F1 at all so please forgive my imperfect retelling, but I was reading about the Qatar Grand Prix that happened last month and how driver Logan Sargeant withdrew from the competition after feeling ill - which it's apparently pretty rare to voluntarily withdraw mid-race like that. Extremely commendable decision by this driver, probably was an impossible call to make with all the sponsors and fans and all the other factors that depend on him to complete the race. What was even more amazing was the overall support from the community - literally every article, comment section, and Reddit thread I went through were praising Sargeant for putting himself, as he should, first. The thought of a driver potentially passing out from being ill behind a F1 car going full speed is horrifying. His life is worth more than winning a race.

And want to know what this made me think about? Simone Biles.

Although a different circumstance, Biles had the exact same situation where she felt ill and unsafe competing and removed herself, as she should, from the competition. And everyone absolutely DRAGGED her through the dirt. Literally it's been two years and to this day people still label her a "quitter" and loudly bring their doubt in to everything she does - mind you she has earned both record-setting World and Olympic medals since the infamous team event. Would they have felt any better if she went for that second vault and instead landed on her neck and got seriously injured? Why was the response to Biles so disgustingly different than the response to Sargeant? (You know why.)

If I hear a single "she owes it to her team" - no she doesn't. Sargeant's team Williams Racing and Biles' Olympic team were both vocal in their support for their respective teammates decisions and expressed their gratitude that each athlete had the mental awareness to make that call and withdraw to prevent something worse from happening. If the only people directly impacted by a teammate withdrawing from a competition are not upset then why the fuck would you be?

Ultimately, huge shocker here, the difference in response comes down to all sorts of intersectionality of issues due to Biles being a woman and POC. It's exhausting just reading the vitriol and hate plastered all over the internet so I can only imagine how frustrating it is for Biles. She's literally set every conceivable record in her discipline and is STILL reaching new milestones to this day, yet people want to make her decision to preserve her own safety in Tokyo her career-defining moment. It's because of that decision that she continues to break records to this day so I guess maybe it was.

Social media is pretty much used for people to complain and criticize and try to make comments to virtue signal or whatever to seem better than the other person, so maybe that's why is so frustrating seeing one athlete hailed a hero for making the same decision that caused another athlete to get effectively cancelled. Like being on the internet so long I'm jaded enough to not read into hate comments too much, just disagree with them and let them bounce off you. But sometimes coming across these hypocritical responses makes me want to grab their collective shoulders and shake some sense into them (ง'̀-'́)ง

Instead of trying to baby proof the internet from meanie bad words, maybe it would be more useful to focus on what you can start doing right now that will actually help:

Stop stigmatizing us.

If people were genuinely interested in helping us when they're barking the "don't say insane!!" rant, (They're not.) then it literally wouldn't take anymore than doing your own research to understand what and who they're trying to help. It can be hurtful, but someone calling me insane will never be anywhere near as harmful as the complete lack of even basic knowledge the public has about the disorders they like to stigmatize and laugh at. I can name so many just off the top of my head:

BPD (Borderline personality disorder) is extremely common. There are over 3 million cases every year. A majority of people who have BPD developed it because they were victims of early childhood truama or neglect, but the world has made it out that they're always going to be inherent abusers. Same with NPD. (Narcissistic personality disorder) It's painted that all of them are evil monsters, even though the majority developed the disorder after being abused themselves in childhood. (find a more in depth study/explanation here!)

Instead of focusing your "support" on telling people not to say insane, why don't you focus on visibility and acceptance for victims with disorders?

OCD (Obessive compulsive disorder) is an anxiety disorder associated with intrusive thoughts. Saying, "I'm so OCD" because you like to color code your pencils is careless sterotyping but an extremely common saying.

So why don't you focus on educating yourself/others when you make those mistakes?

Psychosis is common. It is not an illness itself, but a symptom. 3 in 100 people will likely have at least one psychotic episode in their lives, even those without disorders associated with it, after traumatic events. (Ex. like the death of a loved one or a natural disaster.)

So why don't you focus on normalizing reactions to truama? Even the "crazy" ones?

I really could go on and on but this whole thing is just giving me a fucking headache. If you're defending people with disorders, then learn from people with disorders and what we actually care about and need your support for.
