I made this timeline JUST FOR THIS MOMENT. More rambling under the cut if anyone is curious 👍

So essentially I changed everything because I can. I've been in the fandom since like the first game came out and I was a baby so it's my right to mold the lore to what I want thank you very much.

I essentially just condensed it. So FNAF 3 and the events of the Steel Wool era are combined. It makes sense to me that a company like the one that owns the Pizzaplex would use a literal real life murder spree to make a haunted house. Did you guys see the Scraptrap arcade cabinet? Yeah. Exactly.

I took inspiration from the movie with how Will was able to have a weird psychic connection to the kids, and controlled them in a way to how Henry's relationship with the missing children is in this continuity. He was essentially able to convince them it was Will that killed them. Only Charlie knows the truth, because she hasn't revealed herself to her father and pretty much saw everything happen (yikes). I like to think that Charlie and Will kind of team up similarly to how Henry and Mike team up in canon? A perfect mirror flip.

I'm toying big time with some twists, I do like the mimic as a villain but I haven't decided yet if I'm going to use him for this plotline. Maybe! Who knows maybe Henry never made it to his 70s and the current CEO was the mimic all along ooh spoookyyy.

My OC Beau essentially replaces Vanny as the partner in crime to Springtrap. Though this time the goal is to clear his name and to free the souls of the children. Vanessa is still around but nothing bad ever happens to her because she doesn't deserve it and I love her.

I want Michael to get out of the Sister Location spot under the Pizzaplex and become a minor antagonist too because him, Evan, and Elizabeth all also blame William for what happened, what reason would they have to believe otherwise its fair.

So yeah y'know, drawing my stupid oc being silly with Springs ended up getting its own lore bible my bad. Autism moment.

I was so excited when I read this prompt cuz I absolutely love anything that has to do with birds especially cool fictional ones so I got to work real fast. I found out static makes my drawings look 100x better (in my eyes at least) so I’ll be abusing that 👍

I was thinking of making the phoenix blue to reflect her blue fire but I preferred the red, orange and yellow colour palette.

I feel like Zuko would lose his shit after her bird dies forgetting it’ll just come back lol

I also made this cuz being a bird mom comes with its sacrifices and that sacrifice is sleep: (inspired after my cat who always kneads my mom’s hair before sleep)

Wip intro: Fire, Famine, & Slaughter

Genre: steampunk? kind of? but make it 17th century instead. also kind of similar to asoiaf in that it's spec fic but based heavily on a real historical event. oh and they have ice age fauna in this world too also

Content warnings: it's a story abt religious wars and all that implies. lots of death and gore and people being horrible to each other over pointless doctrinal disputes. etc

Ten years ago the citizens of the Commonwealth, a world power in a a seventeenth century-inspired steampunk (ish) alternate universe, rose up under the leadership of a rogue politician to kill their king. What followed was over half a decade of brutal military dictatorship, civil war, famine, plague, and general unhappiness for the population. Now the king has been secure in his restoration -- a move which has proved more popular in some sectors than others -- for four years, but lies on his deathbed, and his only successor is a cousin who worships an outlawed god and seems, to many, on the verge of plunging the country back into the chaos it fought so hard to escape.

When a former regicide hellbent on toppling the current regime accuses one of this new king's most controversial advisors of murdering a well-liked lord, war seems closer than ever. Republicans in the shadows, royalists ready to go to war, the aristocracy pulling knives over land, but the Commonwealth's parliament consoles itself with the fact that, after all, this tyrannical heretic of a king and his horrible advisors are but an anomaly -- the crown prince, who is a bit odd but who they all know and love, is nothing like that. Right?

Will shamelessly admit that this story is an attempt to write something which is to the glorious revolution as asoiaf is to the wars of the roses 👍 narrators under the cut; complete character list yet to come. title a placeholder I pilfered from a Coleridge poem ☝️

Marcus "Marc" Waring, Earl of Talbott -- (he/him) a dispossessed and very angry aristocrat from the Commonwealth's colony-member of Hieburne, who quite literally lost an arm and a leg in the civil war. A master swordsman and known manipulator.

John Thompsons -- (he/him) a regicide, pamphleteer, and vicious sectarian only alive for his intimate knowledge of and groundbreaking research on the mysterious ancient tech which keeps the Commonwealth's capital running. #1 hobby is destablising the monarchy; #2 hobby is psychologically tormenting Talbott.

Elizabeth Knox-Clifford, Duchess of Danforth -- (she/her) one of the most powerful aristocrats in the Commonwealth, first woman to be a member of the King's Closet (group of his closest advisors), dedicated to the stability of the country no matter what that requires.

Eleanor "Ellie" Foxe -- (she/her) a mildly unwilling member of a plot to systemically kill the entirety of Parliament in order to restore the absolute monarchy of the Commonwealth's past. Fanatically devoted to her cause and rather cutthroat, but more willing to negotiate than other members of the plot.

Joffre van Andrey -- (he/him) a visitor from the Commonwealth's ally the Risckan Confederacy, and advisor to the the king there, who just so happens to be the brother-in-law of the Commonwealth's own king. A very serious man who tries to do the right thing but usually has his schemes blow up in his face </3

I’ve got some more Monkey Wrench headcanons.

1. In addition to being extremely flexible, Shrike is also very skilled in parkour and jumping from place to place. He has no idea how he can do this. “No idea, I just sort of…do it?”

2. Kara used to be a ballet dancer.

3. Shrike is unintentionally awkward around other cephalopod aliens.

4. Since most Walrinians have tusks, Beebs doesn’t like to talk about his lack of them. “That’s a long story and I don’t like talking about it.”

5. Shrike goes crazy (borderline feral) if you mention the Ghost Egg around him after the events of the first episode. “Don’t TALK to me about that FUCKING egg!” “Shrike! Language.” “NOT NOW BEEBS!!!!”

These are also really good ! :D

I really dig the concept of Kara being a ballet dancer at some point in her past , it fits so well with her deadly yet graceful fighting style !

I finally got some inspiration to add a few more silly headcanons of mine :

Alongside being skilled at playing guitar , I headcanon Beebs to have a nice singing voice as well : he just gives me the vibe of someone chilling in front of a campfire while singing it out ! 

Being the sweetheart that he is , Ricket would probably get attached to animals while traveling with Queen Tyneen and beg her to let him keep them on the ship ( alas , to no avail :,I ) 

Shrike and Ricket seem to have known each other for a long time , and that’s because after he quit L.A.W and before founding Monkey Wrench he used to be part of Tyneen’s crew : I find it a pretty interesting concept to think about ! Though I feel like episode 4 could give a canonical explanation to their friendship … we’ll see ! 👍

Laser pointers are a secret weakness of Kara , and she can barely resist the urge to stop what she’s doing to chase the tiny light … however she’ll definitely murder whoever finds out to avoid having them talk about it to anyone else .

If he ever discovered merch of El Bandito , Shrike would spend an unreasonable amount of money to fill the Bucket with posters and figures of his favorite show , no questions asked ! He’d probably call it a “business expense” to give Beebs an explanation … not like he’d believe it …

time travel in ten - sequential narrative collage piece done for my class, Artifact.

ramblings below the cut for those interested in the process/life update for friends who have noticed i've been gone

right lmao. i had two weeks to do this project and had a completely different idea that i just could not get myself to be excited about. emailed my prof in desperation, but it being like 10 pm meant that she was not about to respond. within 30 minutes, as it goes, i got struck with divine inspiration by whatever force of nature governs procrastination-induced genius, and i promptly spent the next 12 waking hours non-stop working on this.

my class, artifact, is a requirement for the foundation year at the college i attend. it centers around time-based media, ranging from the sequential illustration here to video later in the semester, and a bunch of other projects designed to get us thinking in 4d. artifact is the theme of the class - my peers are doing the same projects under a variety of different themes (tragically, haunting filled up too quickly and i missed out on enrollment in that one).

our first project was designing an artifact and doing a write-up of the story behind it. the girl to my left made beaded spiders members of a fictional cult carried. the guy across from me made an amulet of a long-dead god. you get the vibes. mine, which I still need to take professional photos of, is a pocketwatch that lets you time travel. cause, yknow. i'm me. it was gonna be about time travel.

i had originally intended to do a bunch of drawings of the watch's owner, building out her backstory and the world she lives in, and explaining why the watch exists,,,, then i couldn't bring myself to pick up the stylus. I just can't seem to find the energy for my usual digital art (sorry friends i miss yall i'm still here i swear).

I haven't drawn fanart or my ocs in months now, since last semester, and I miss it a whole bunch but right now that creative energy just. is not happening. i don't plan on abandoning it forever by any means, but p much everything i have is going towards school right now. sad as that is, i'm having so much fun, and i'm so proud of the technical improvements i've made. I've got so many things i want to create, mostly for my ocs. i still love crit role, but i've fallen of campaign three. i don't have the time, and the story hasn't been engaging me for a bit.

i've been really into dr who lately, and am eagerly waiting for the spare time to sit and watch all of candela obscura. i'm in a new dnd game. i've got friends! real life friends! irl friends who called me the wizard friend within a few hours of knowing me before i even opened my mouth about dnd lmao. i've discovered a new love of collage, and i've just declared my major in something unique to my school, a program called Studio for Interrelated Media. i'll be learning about illustration still through the extra electives i'll have room for, but i also get to explore printmaking in more depth, as well as event planning, installation, curation, and theatre work as well.

i miss being on here a whole bunch and want to be more active when i get more time. don't plan on abandoning this blog by any means. boston has been kind to me, and though i have had some Real Low Points, i've also been living the life i've hoped for since i was a kid. i'm good, really really good.

pleaseeeee i wanna know abt the izlo ghost fic !!

YAYYY okay so this is inspired by my fav fic of all time a thousand nights with you by casastella

so this is in an au where they're just at a normal school (boarding school?) not idols and izumi is investigating the music rooms at night because there's rumors of a ghost and makoto was scared (I feel like it's canon he's scared of ghosts but I might be making that up?? someone correct me if I'm wrong) and when he goes into one of the music rooms he finds leo who is a ghost who died at the school 3 years ago so before izumi had started and izumi is basically like. what the fuck. ghosts aren't even real who even are you. and leo talks for a bit and izumi is just like What The Fuck because he has to accept that ghosts exist now I guess and he leaves and he's thinking like omg what am I gonna tell makoto. and he just tries to go back to life as normal but he finds himself going back to the music room that night. leo isn't there so he's trying to convince himself maybe it was all a dream. and he leaves it be for a couple of weeks

until one day he returns to the school building very late (ritsu had fallen asleep in a classroom and izumi had to go find him) and when looking in the music room he sees leo again.. and they talk a bit.more this time and leo plays some music for him and it turns out (izumi doesn't know all this information at this point) that after leo died because he was so young and it was so tragic he had been granted 200 more fridays to write 200 more songs so he can appear as a ghost on one night a week in the music room .. and so izumi visits him every friday for the next few months and they get to know eachother and leo tells izumi the circumstances of his death (events of checkmate with people only wanting him for his songs and getting burnt out and depressed but this time he doesn't have izumi or madara and so there's nothing to really help him through his depression and he ends up committing suicide. and idk the story goes through these moments they have together with leo writing songs and even gets izumi to start singing and leo laughs at his singing like in lionheart but says he has potential and izumi talks about how conflicted he is over what he wants to be and what his parents want him to be and does he love modelling or not and izumi tells leo about naru and ritsu and makoto and leo talks about his family and how ruka is now older than he will ever be and one day leo tells izumi he only has one more song left before he has to pass on and izumi because he's incapable of processing emotions is upset and angry because leo is leaving and so they have an argument and when it comes to the last day they will have together izumi is scared to go but he also doesn't want his last words with leo to be the argument they had and he gets there when leo has only a few minutes left and maybe they kiss idk and leo plays the last song he wrote just for izumi and then he has to go.. and he had been recording all the songs even with izumis singing and theyre on an ipod that is left for izumi.. and izumi sits in the empty music room and listens to the songs on the ipod and is very sad 👍

You have the same passion too? That's amazing! Oh that's the exact same for me! Ever since I was young, I saw SHINee and F(x)'s music videos on Tv. They inspired me a lot. I started training myself when I was young. I even taught choreography for my sister's school event. The song was My My by Apink! Her classmates said I was amazing as we were practicing so that made me feel so happy 😊 I basically watched lessons online, watched idols and I really did great at teaching myself!

I'm actually contemplating showing cuts of my recent Aespa covers here. It's not an official cover, it's cuts of my recording.

And I hope to see you on stage or backstage as well! Good for you! I also know that I'm already one no matter where I am or what I'm seeing in front of me. We can do this! Hwaiting!!! 💪

Okay so when I'm needing help to improve I listen to subliminals so that helped me a lot! For techniques and methods I use to manifest this, I ask myself how the version of me who is a K-Pop idol would react to things. For example, I have desired best friends. Instead of just watching their TikToks like a fan, I align my thoughts to me already being an idol and being their friend so I think like that and hype them up in my head. I think like I'm already close to them.

This is the best one! Another trick I like to use is to watch Kpop idol imagines on YouTube! I'll give you examples here, here, here and here. They really help me think it's already done. It's real in the 4d aka our imagination so I love doing this. If you have a desired face, watch their vlogs or videos. It will help you manifest if you think that's you. Not taking their Identity whatsoever but just using it for imagining. Search imagine, y/n as a Kpop idol, pov Kpop idol, pov celebrity and I'm sure you'll get loads and loads of videos like that. Pick what resonates with you, meaning the ones that seem like you most or what you want and save them in a playlist or in a collection in TikTok. I'm doing the same thing right now! 👍

It's already real in the 4d, you just need to slam the door on your face like Abdullah did to Neville and leave the 3d alone. Make sure not to pay attention to anything you don't want to stick or stay in your reality.

I also found this tip on how to blur faces! I use this to blur fancams or videos to imagine myself in that video. My df is Wonyoung + Ju Jingyi so it also helps me to watch their videos. If you don't want to do the work to blur faces in fancams like me you could just blur the whole thing a bit and you can imagine it's you. I'll show a sample I made for me here. You just need to click effects, find blur and adjust it depends on how much you like them stretch that out to the rest of your video and export!

I also made my own all in one subliminal that has everything which includes me being an idol and adding affs for safety and change whatever I want to change in the industry. It's more so for me to see my family a lot and to be treated nicely or even get princess treatment.

That's literally all I do to manifest. When I record my practice time, I think like I'm recording my own songs. It helps me be even more confident.

all of my plays are based on some extent parts of my life...the zarzuela story was a little inspired by phantom of the opera. & the opera story was inspired by a dream i had about one of those comedy mockumentary workplace tv shows but a victorian opera house.

Weird question and i have no idea if you've already mentioned this somewhere lmao but i was just looking up podcasts about Vikings on Spotify and I remembered you've noted a few times that a lot of research into history goes into the writing of OTWD and you like making sure things like attire and historical facts are just right

So I was wondering, in what part of the Viking age does OTWD take place? More towards the end, when the Christianization of the Nordic lands took place, or further removed from that?

I generally place otwd in the mid 1000s, in the twilight of the viking age. I started out with that idea because the first movie allegedly takes place in 1010 (according to the Viking Games promotional Olympics 2010 shorts. I know I don't technically need to include those in canon but I try to consider everything in the franchise and also Bjorn's mother was a professional ski jumper who died in an unfortunate accident after acquiring so many gold medals that they weighed her down on a big jump, so it must exist or at least be the same as the Thawfest games. The more you know 👍). Following that date, I think the first otwd should take place in 1034?? Idk I'm bad at math

However I mostly mash together all the features of the viking age (and when it comes to boats, all of history ever) using the Rule of Cool lol. Outside the archipelago the "mainland" vikings are beginning to convert to Christianity, so otwd coincides with the gradual end of the viking age which is definitely an important concept as the series progresses. At the same time, real Iceland was colonized around the late 800s and vikings reached America in the early 1000s and in otwd neither of those events have happened yet 🤷🏼‍♀️

It's astonishing how little of what I read makes it into the final product lol, but I use it more to guide creative decisions and hopefully make my interpretation of archipelago a bit "bigger" and more connected to the outside world than in the movies. Gustavs installment has way more historical inspiration and connections than the main series just bc the archipelago is so sheltered from the outside world, and our main characters are even more sheltered from the rest of the archipelago

I. So I don't consider things by 'perfection' honestly but Fuck is CLASS::EXSPHERE_NOSURGE; a song that will forever kick my ass. Absolute favourite song of all time.

cactus ⇢ something you’re currently learning (about)?

Waves my little Chinese Mandarin language learning app 'Hello Chinese' that helps (but with how i remember to do stuff i keep forgetting to do things) me remember that I actually did take 2 years of Mandarin in school.

bamboo ⇢ do you change into a different outfit when you get home?

Yeah I generally change out of my scrubs and into pjs. Usually a tank top and shorts 👍 be comfy

abelia ⇢ do you have a particular piece of jewelry you always wear or can’t part with?

Nope. Actually I used to wear a ring all the time, and then I lost it. And I used to wear a necklace all the time but I kept putting it in my mouth and it wore off the cheap silver coating. (for reference these were both while i was in middle school). I can't stand wearing jewelry daily anymore, it gets in the way.

Yep, two younger brothers. I don't get along well at all with the older one (nothing in common at all), but the youngest has a similar humor as me and we're pretty good friends..

Ehhhhh. Mainly reading inspires me the most honestly. Sometimes a song will also give me the executive function to create too, but it depends on whether I have the time to draw or write at the time!

Logan and I have an adage we quote all the time which is simply: Don't worry about it.

Character is showing a weird side in a show we're watching? Oh, don't worry about it.

I make a weird noise? Don't worry about it.

Didn't catch the last half of a lewd joke or simply just a sentence he's said? Don't worry about it.

Its used more maliciously (in jest) than anything but its the funniest fucking thing we've let become a running joke.

camellia ⇢ what were you like when you were younger? do you think you’ve changed a lot?

Ah. Well, I basically wasn't a human being until 2018 or so, so.... Trauma (and clinical depression and overwhelming anxiety) did a number on me. Its actually rather hard to remember my life unless I focus on really trying to remember things. I was a lot quieter tho, read books to escape reality, and had like. No friends. I tried to validate myself through internet 'friends' and made a lot of mistakes in the pursuit of being a human. I have changed a lot (and I better have, i've healed and matured quite a bit), but I do think I still hold some of my core. qualities i think.

I'm never reading The Series of Unfortunate Events again. You can't make me. I LOVE the books. I cannot read them again. I Own the books (in nice shiny hardcover with the original printing, too), they are never going to be anything more than used space on my shelf.

Uhhh my state of attentiveness I think. Logan says I enter 'screensaver mode' when tired but I'm not sure what actually changes. They can usually pinpoint it straight away tho fhdjs

Like if I'm more attentive and listening and engaging with you (ofc this is more for real life/voice call) im usually in a better state, I tend to tune things out when i get upset or tired or annoyed. Idk.

I have suuuuuch a soft spot for plushies. Its insane how soft I am over even just. a little guy. I don't even collect plushies but they always end up being my favorite present somehow. My coworker gave me a really soft Pusheen last year for my birthday(? or xmas) and god that thing lives at the end of my bed now but i was holding on to it daily for Months.

Living in a house and not having anything in it that would deter me from. wanting to go home?This is a genuine first thought don't look into it too much..
