My first ever mass attack for ArtFight! Look at all these horses! And. Horse adjacent things also.

You know I find it really funny that I did these in a random order using one of those roulette wheels online but the way it worked out the spectrum goes like, edgy horses -> cutesy horses -> completely normal horses -> Eclipse and her weird hybrid friends. Delightful.

EDIT: Jesus Christ Tumblr just completely ate the quality on this huh. You can come see it on my artfight in way better resolution I think!

💗 Lovebird’s Artly #1 💚

Helloooo everyone!! Today I bring you: King Heartly design process and extra doodles!! (Ft. N03LL3 and Pyke 💚💚💚)

So the idea was “Berdly but he’s a Darkner to tag along with Noelle/N03LL3” and because it’s imperative that he’s annoying and silly but also matches N03LL3, he ended up becoming a one for two deal, a mix between Rouxls and King for chapter 1 – the king of hearts! The original concept was very much just… Berdly in a heart themed costume? But you can see the start of some specific ideas here - a rules cape, a mourning dove style bleeding heart on his chest, heart shaped glasses… I wanted to keep some of his armor from his canon DarkWorld design as well – I love when characters reference themselves across universes!

Mod Angel then took these ideas and went crazy with them and with mod pony’s input that’s how we got the final design seen here in Angel’s art log!

And from there on it’s just,, me thinking about her very hard. I think they have some strange things going on with N03LL3 (wing cape gang)…

But more importantly, he’s Pyke’s papá! Pyke’s momdad even! I’m currently kind of straddling the line between “I want to make him annoying Berdly style” and “I’m just projecting in this guy full force.” The outcome is that he speaks like Rouxls and is annoying and a huuuuge coward but he’s also a genuinely sweet dad and loves to entertain his subjects with games and puzzles!

Shoutout to Pyke, I just really love Pyke.

I think that’s ummm all for now? You should all ask him seven billion awesome questions about being an awesome king (where’s the other kings? Uhhh don’t worry about that. Maybe don’t ask that one haha). Anyways, until we meet again!
