the unfortunate thing about birthdays is that I will associate major events with specific thoughts and experiences adjacent to that day, week, or month. and in this instance, it is nasal congestion, insane deranged kinks, insane deranged consumption of fandom, and crying over a synziphosuran research paper posted in 2015 (though formally written in 2007 I’m guessing) posted on cambridge.org that I can’t access because I need an institutional login or $36 to purchase for an individual. I am upset over this because I want to get one supplementary piece of information before my birthday passes instead of feeling like shit because all I did was read self-insert fanfiction for the first time involving Navia.

Sedoretu understanders, how much of a problem would it be if in one of the four marriages one or both partners weren't willing to be sexually involved with one another? Would it be a cultural taboo/shameful/etc, or just sort of considered inconvenient and unfortunate for those two people, like a real world dead bedroom? I'm not necessarily asking in the context of the Hainish cycle but in the context of how this tends to be depicted in fanwork, question aimed at people who may read it often, or more often than me at any rate.
