CRWC: Mold Cookie!!!

A few years ago, I made my first Cookie Run OC named Mold Cookie, well, I've been playing Cookie Run Witch's Castle recently and in chapter 4 there is a mold monster and mold that spreads to Desserts. So I just had to do a Witch's Castle version of him!

Spoilers for the end of Episode 8 of Beast-Yeast

I have indeed gotten attached to @jackie-mae 's crk AU that I'm calling Hat Bound Smilk for the time being since she hasn't given it a name yet.

EDIT:

This AU has now been officially named Jammed Within the Seams. It's also called hatsmilkau. Jackie has actually started a fic for this AU! Check out her post about it here! This kind of makes this whole writing I did moot, but oh well! /lh

(Note: I used some of the canon dialogue in this. Mainly at the start of this)

After a tough bout, Shadow Milk Cookie was on the verge of collapsing and Pure Vanilla Cookie wasn’t far behind.

“Kh… Haa… Haa… Pathetic fools…”

Pure Vanilla Cookie reached his hand out to Shadow Milk Cookie.

“It doesn’t have to be like this, Shadow Milk Cookie.”

Shadow Milk Cookie slapped his hand away.

“Ha ha ha! Inhale How “kind” of you! Mark my words: one day, your “kindness” pant will become your undoing.” He waved his staff, opening a portal behind him. “I’ll be seeing you! pant pant… Tootles!”

“WAIT!”

Pure Vanilla Cookie’s staff lit up. 

He couldn’t just let him go like that!

The room lit up with a single spell.

Shadow Milk Cookie and the portal were gone…

GingerBrave ran to where he had been standing moments ago.

“Gah! He’s gone!”

Strawberry Cookie picked something off the ground.

“And he dropped something…”

“Be carful Strawberry Cookie, it might be another trap-” Wizard Cookie looked at the item. “Wait a minute. That’s- That’s his Soul Jam!”

THUD

“PURE VANILLA COOKIE!”

The three of them ran to Pure Vanilla Cookie’s side.

He shakily pushed him self up right with his staff.

“Don’t worry, I’m… pant just a bit tired...”

The whole tower begun to shake.

“Without… pant pant its master, the Spire will collapse…! Quick, we must leave this place!”

GingerBrave helped Pure Vanilla Cookie to his feet.

Strawberry Cookie trembled, still holding Shadow Milk Cookie’s Soul Jam.

“Wh-wh-wh-what should we do with this…!?”

Pure Vanilla Cookie answered.

“We should take it with us.”

“Oh! And don’t your hat!”

“Thank you, Wizard Cookie.”

- Sometime later -

Pure Vanilla Cookie pointed his staff at the eye on his hat, gazing into it.

“Shadow Milk Cookie. You’re in there aren’t you?”

“. . . ha… HAHAHAHAHA! What a dumb question from the Cookie WHO SEALED ME HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE!”

(One thing to note is that from the sketches it looked like Shadow Milk Cookie didn't have his own Soul Jam anymore and his comment on Nilla's Soul Jam calling it "ours" made me think Pure Vanilla Cookie now has both Soul Jams. If this is not the case, then just ignore the few parts talking about Smilk's Soul Jam.

I think I'm attached to this AU Do you have a name for this AU already? I started to call it Hat Bound Shadow Milk Cookie AU lol

ShadowVanilla (Or as I will never not call it NillaMilk) But at the end of episode 8 PV beats Smilk and traps him in his new hat.

does it make sense, probably not but these bastards wouldn't stop rattling in my brain so they had to get out somehow

BEAST-YEAST EPISODE 8 SPOILERS FOR THE FINAL SCENE UNDER THE CUT

There's a line at the end I find veeeeeery odd.

Pure Vanilla Cookie said that, yet didn't elaborate.

If it was just about Smilk looking sad/lonely/hurt/etc. I feel like Nilla would have just said that since he already was openly talking about how Smilk just wants a friend.

Plus Smilk seems to be looking at his own reflection here; and that reflection if far from feint

No, no, no. I have another theory. That doesn't happen to be... Silent Salt Cookie, is it?

Am I reaching? Perhaps, but that shadowy figure seems to be the only candidate to what Pure Vanilla was talking about

Not to mention there's a pattern of the Beasts sharing similar story beginnings

Flour and Cacao betrayed by someone (everyone for Flour) close to them that they thought they could rely on. Spice and Goldie watching a kingdom(s) fall, Vanilla and Shadow Milk's belief in Truth faltering. It wouldn't be a stretch to theorize that Silent Salt betrayed the Beasts like Lily Dark Enchantress betraying the Ancients.

All Eye on You

@shadqw-milk made an AU called Medcort:Eyerus AU! They have only drawn Shadow Milk and Burning Spice for this AU, but I wanted to draw the rest of the Beasts too!

Idk if the other three Beasts are also infected, but he did say Spice was the most problematic patient, meaning there are other patients!

Affogato Cookie as a resident of the Golden Cheese Kingdom!

After his escape from the Dark Cacao Kingdom I can imagine he went looking for another place to stay (other than joining the Cookies of Darkness). Imagine him finding his way to the Golden Cheese Kingdom and thriving when he learns that greed isn't looked down upon there. He gets to live in comfort alongside others who understand him.

Two outfits:

First one is more stylized. Very light fabric because he gets heatstroke very easily, but still enjoys feeling covered.

Second one is more modest proper clothing that he might wear when walking out and about doing work. (I imagine he'd still find a way to be an advisor)

Tarot card I; The Magician.

I was working on this before I knew they did a tarot card reading on their 4th anniversary website XD

My friend @makerofmadness made a list of the Beasts and Ancients as tarot cards and that inspired this drawing.

The items of the minor arcana suits are made to be a nod to each of the other four Beasts. Cup/Chalice - Eternal Sugar. A bit of a nod to the relic, Hollyberry Cookie's Never-drying Goblet. The cups also represent to hearts suit, which fits Sugar's Soul Jam. Wand - Burning Spice. While not the best fit, the element it represents is fire. I tried to make it look like the handle to of his Parashu. Pentacle - Mystic Flour. This one was kind of just the last one left... But I do think in a visual sense it kind of fits her? Idk, her being Mystic Flour and pentagrams often seen as magical. Sword - Silent Salt. I mean, they do have the sword

ok so: Beast-Ancients Swap AU but actually the Beasts messed up the timeline and made it one

(I will explain I swear-) The following sprite edits and designs were a collaborative effort of me and @driftwoodmfb

(Lily's design and edit is not finished yet, and Ssalt isn't getting one until that character is released-)

general shoutouts to Driftwood for collaborating with me on this in a lot of aspects btw she's the mvp of this whole project

I am Very bad at concise descriptions but basically: "5v5 climactic final showdown occurs but the bad guys win and then the group consensus on what to all do together to compromise thanks to slightly different priorities is 'Hey we all really hate the ancients now so let's just like. Screw them over' so they basically used their combined virtues' powers or something (look all of this I came up with just to justify the AU's actual concept) to like reset and alter the timeline to swap their places with the ancients basically. and then they kinda accidentally get redemption arc'd in the process. Meanwhile the og ancients... are not happy"

I'm def gonna post more about these guys in the future (and also I like. Encourage people to send asks because I need enrichment dndndnmd! I have a ton of stuff sitting around about them and I love talking about them- so. Here's my attempt at an overview (I. Suck at being concise this took all day to not make way too long dndndndm):

Shadow Milk Cookie - Calls himself the Dark Moon Magician. He's quite braggadocious and more than a little mischievous, quite the show-off too, but he has a good heart down there (nowadays). Though he has often had to be badgered by the Light of Truth into actually telling the truth on things...

Eternal Sugar Cookie - You'll meet them someday. Just not now.

Mystic Flour Cookie - Her face and voice do not do much to express how much she despises the Cookie she used to be, and the Cookie she still sees whenever she looks in the mirror. She is the most eager to come clean to her Cookies, but something is holding her back... she decides to save it for when she has finally repented enough by her standards, to earn her position as queen. It's never enough.

Burning Spice Cookie - For the kingdom he rules, you may (or may not) be surprised seeing how little he cares for material riches. To him, lived experiences are the most precious things- hence why he's always looking for a good fight. Or to just have fun with those close to him- which is not many as he has had a history of issues- after all, transient things fall to time, but the impressions they leave can last up to forever...

Silent Salt Cookie - The fallen hero. It wasn't supposed to happen again. They all knew it could happen, they agreed to prevent it. Why did they make the same mistake...?

Pure Vanilla Cookie - The embodiment of the most common lie. He can string Cookies up to make them move and speak against their wills. He does this to himself often, when he grows tired. He is very ashamed of what he has become, but no matter, he will be fine once he regains the light of Truth, and exposes the truth of this world to all Cookiekind...

Hollyberry Cookie - Berry juice is a comfort to her, such is why she had wished so badly to drown her mind and all her pain in it. She is... frankly, harmless the way she is now. She doesn't have the power, pride or energy to fight. Her heart is just as full of love as it's always been, even if her mind's gone fluffy as frosting. So much that even being in a permanent stupor won't stop her from missing her family, still...

Dark Cacao Cookie - As he describes himself fully, an empty vessel without a will of his own, whose only goal is to carry out the will of fate. He will play his part in this story, for he knows there is no other way. After all, they'd tried to resist already, and it was all in vain. He is cold, empty, such was his resolve: to be unburdened by feeling, so that he would feel no pain...

Golden Cheese Cookie - Calls herself the Demonic Goddess. When she gets upset, she tends to fly into fits of destruction- which she has become very, very good at causing. She laughs it off, she laughs a lot in general, but she really does not like what she's become. However, she is still the same greedy Cookie as she always was, and still wants nothing more than to annihilate the ones who had displaced her and her friends and take back what is rightfully hers...

White Lily Cookie - Founder of the Lily Kingdom. She is a stern, serious figure who tries to keep everything under her control. She quickly silences those who tell her what she does not wish to hear untrue, unkind, or unnecessary things. She does not get very openly emotional often, and tends to address everyone with the same attitude even if it's her friends. (They can generally tell when she means well). She plans to silence all lies from Cookies' mouths, especially regarding who the "Heroes" and "Beasts" are...

I was wondering about what Silent Salt Cookie will look under their helmet and then I thought it would be really cute if they had salt or pepper freckles and then... I ended up making this and some lore ideas too XD. Accidently made OC /hj

Info and alt designs below!

This is Salted Pepper Cookie, the second holder of the Virtue of Solidarity. After Silent Salt Cookie crumbled Salted Pepper took up the mantle and hid their face with Silent Salt's helmet. Only the other four will be Beasts knew they were not actually Silent Salt Cookie.

Silent Salt Cookie crumbled in an incident that left Salted Pepper Cookie badly burned. Salted Pepper was burned directly on their throat as well and was left mute. Some one needed to be the new Virtue holder and the light accepted Salted Pepper Cookie. While they were honored, they also felt undeserving. They decided to pretend to be Silent Salt Cookie and say that Salted Pepper Cookie was the Cookie that crumbled, not Silent Salt. They knew Cookies would've been happier if Silent Salt was the one who survived anyways

I don't know what might have drawn them to Silence yet. Since it was Solidarity and took the form of Freedom as a Soul Jam, my guess is that Silent Salt Cookie was some kind of freedom fighter. Either fighting other Cookies or the forces of nature. Regardless, looking for a better life.

The idea of being mute goes with the name Silent Salt Cookie. I was thinking what if that was more literal.

The small snippets of what Silent Salt looked like before they turned to a Beast from Beast-Yeast teaser trailer vaguely looks like only the top of the helmet is there, suggesting that Silent Salt's face used to be showing.

For the burn, I thought Silent Salt's new hair/helmet tuff thing looked much more fiery so I thought what if they were burned and that's part of the reason they wear a mask?

I also think having Silent Salt actually not be the original Silent Salt would be a good parallel to White Lily being split as herself and Dark Enchantress Cookie. Both Salted Pepper and White Lily feel like imposters to themselves...

I really liked the peppered look, but I still wanted to keep them as Silent Salt at first, so here's my mix and match from all salt to all pepper

I'm really proud of this! I studied the dragon Cookies in both their Cookie form and dragon form thoroughly to make a good and accurate Cookie form for these two dragons. I even gave them both a horn and a half of the Black and White Dragon :3

These two dragons look so much like oreos to me, but I didn't want to call them Oreo Dragon Cookies lol. My next thought was cookies and cream, but Cookies and Cream Dragon Cookie is not only a mouthful, but also feels weird to have cookie in the names twice. So, I've settled on White Wafer Dragon Cookie and Black Wafer Dragon Cookie.
