More Ben x Jeff hcs?

- They’re probably the chillest couple in the manor, which is surprising cause Jeff is anything but chill. Ben is a good influence that way.

- As mentioned before, Ben rarely emotes and never smiles. Jeff is the only one who knows how Ben is feeling based on subtle changes in their expression. (The key is all in the eyebrows).

- They’re more affectionate behind closed doors. PDA makes both of them shy, so they’re more likely to share kisses and cuddles in the comfort of their rooms.

- They don’t really use pet names much, but Jeff likes to use “mi amor” for Ben sometimes.

- Jeff has tried to ask Ben out for nearly a year, but his methods were overly extravagant or too subtle for Ben to notice. It wasn’t until Jeff just sat down and directly asked did Ben finally give their answer…which was yes, yes they would go out with him.

- Jeff loves to shower Ben in gifts and compliments and take them on lavish dates. Ben is more the type to sprinkle small, homemade gifts to Jeff and plan lowkey yet cozy dates.

- Ben is an incredibly lazy person, which is why it means a lot when they willingly take on tasks for Jeff to lift some of the pressure of his shoulders (as he is someone who tends to put a lot of pressure on himself). Even if it’s something simple like doing the dishes when it was Jeff’s turn or tidying up his room a little, it makes him feel extremely grateful.

- Jeff fell first and he fell hard. Ben ended up falling harder. This is to say that they are very devoted to each other even if they do seem chill on the surface.

Decided to post a writing prompt I did with the beach boys

Why did it have to be him?

Dallas Nightingale was blessed enough to be fairly attractive and a social butterfly. Meaning that he has quite a few friends and admirers. Dallas would go on and on to Flynn about the parties and hang outs where he had supposedly met “the love of his life”. So much so that his sister became bored of hearing it. What was obvious to her but not to her brother was that he had no idea what that term meant. But he was going to.

Dallas described that night as a meeting arranged by the gods themselves. It had to be. Because for once, Dallas’s theatrics were true. Meeting him was a life changing moment. And it was only then that Dallas really understood what that term means. Love. It was none of the brief relationships he had. None of the people he would rave about to Flynn. It’s him.

Dallas feels his heart rate skyrocket as a gloved hand intertwines with his. He laughed joyfully as he is dragged along. And while he does feel genuine joy, there is also a sense of fear that causes his heart to hammer in his chest. Why is he so afraid? Nothing is happening. Regardless of this irrational fear, Dallas allows himself to be pulled to who knows where by this boy. Romero Kingston, Dallas’s best friend.

The two boys were practically inseparable. Everyone who knew them all knew how close the two are. Ever since they met, you would never see one without the other. Brothers, they’d call them. Two peas in a pod.

But Dallas disagreed. As he watched the setting sun cast a radiant glow over Romero’s flawless skin, giving him an almost ethereal look, he disagreed. Dallas silently thanks the gods for giving him naturally rosy cheeks to hide how warm his face is as he stares at Romero’s breathtaking smile. How is it that someone can have such a beautiful smile that it freezes people in their tracks and makes their minds go blank? Dallas wondered this every time he saw Romero smile. Some part of him desperately craves to be the reason he smiles.

Dallas and Romero crack jokes, determined to make each other laugh as they sit on the docks, watching the sun set beneath the sea. For once, Romero was confident enough to remove the necklace that disguised his non human features, letting the wind blow through his feathers. Dallas watches in awe as Romero’s wings stretch out, enjoying the breeze brought by the evening. It’s enchanting. Dallas felt as if he were looking at some divine being. Not just a siren boy who worked at a bar in the city.

Of course he’s a siren.

Pirates were known for falling head over heels for sirens in stories. But this is real. Dallas had fallen and fallen hard. It was almost impossible to tear his eyes away from Romero and actually enjoy the view of the setting sun. He’s seen it a million times before so to the young pirate, there was nothing all that interesting about it. Dallas is much more interested in Romero’s reaction, watching his eyes light up in pure delight as the oranges and reds in the sky give way to deep purples and blues, stars sparkling in the distance. Dallas could see the stars reflecting in Romero’s eyes. And that was much more appealing to him than the real thing.

I caught up on all of the spy x family manga and there won't be more until Feb but that also means I'll have to wait weekly for updates going forward, fuck

#spy x family #anyway the manga is really good. the anime is like a perfect adaptation & i love it. so far of what they covered there was only 1 storyline #they skipped. but whats happened since has been soooo good. like ive been saying repeatedly to my partner how much i love how #anti war the story is in a compassionate way that explains theres no black n white. then i got to loids backstory chap & damn it was heavy #ALSO love that i was like ''oh there hasnt been much romance (not that i mind). loids in denial & yor is oblivious tho'' & then i read the #manga & WOW hes REALLY in denial sometimes & shes REALLY oblivious other times. its still a complete slow burn buildup but #there are quite a few more moments towards twiyor. also damanya? idk their ship name but omfg theyre SO FUNNY anya is SO FUNNY #like obvious insert of ''shipping literal first graders does feel weird'' here but they have a really funny dynamic & i love the kid chars #a lot theyre all really funny & fairly well fleshed out while still being believably immature little kids. anyway sxf v good #also bond my beloved i sobbed watching his eps in the anime hes a very good boy #tc posts
