like, between coryo's cunning, sej's conscience, and lucy gray's charisma? the snow name, the plinth fortune, the baird d12 but neither district nor capitol pedigree?

coryo could've actually been like, panem's first 20-year-old president, who outlaws the hunger games and who the districts still listen to because he has sej and lucy gray on side. and yeah maybe coryo still kills a bunch of people but like whatever, no one really bats an eye -- who's gonna mourn gaul, anyways? no one in the districts, that's for sure. even if gaul didn't suck ass they'd be busy with cool covey music and awesome new legislation.

in a better universe i am 100% certain snowbairdplinth could've managed a fairly bloodless revolution, six decades early.

I feel kinda stupid for not figuring this out earlier, but I understand lucy gray, because even if she didn't see what happened in the arena all the things that happened in D12 would've easily proven to her how much sejanus and coriolanus mean to eachother. and then snow gets him killed????? and it's so obvious too????? because coriolanus is the only person sejanus actually trusted???? and loved???? and there's no one else he could've told about the rebel plans except coriolanus???? i would've run, too, because sejanus meant more to coriolanus than lucy gray and she knew it. she didn't know he like, thought of her as a prize and an object and wanted to possess and control her, but she knew he cared for sejanus in a different, deeper way. and he killed him???? she knew he could and would do it to her too, if she ever became a threat to him. and she ran. and now she's free.

In my previous fandoms, there are always two enemy ships because of the dumb rivalry between the shippers. Wars like this always give me headaches.

But Snowbairds and Snowjanuses are very civil 😂 There are even many Snowjanusbaird discussions arrived my dash. And I hope it stays that way. So peaceful.

...But maybe because both are doomed. And also because we are in the same boat of "people getting screwed over by Coriolanus Snow(TM)" together. We all are.

They would’ve been so good together. Sejanus would be such a supportive boyfriend. He’d understand that she sometimes flirts as part of her job as a performer and keep his jealousy in check (unlike some people who keep separate rules for themselves and her). He’d come by on any free day he had to visit the Covey and help them out at home, always bringing some of Ma’s baked goods.

In a throuple with Coriolanus they’d take turns keeping him in check.

In the best version of reality coryo is in a relationship with both sejanus and Lucy grey. Lucy grey and sejanus are best friends, Lucy grey and coryo are schemiming menaces that sejanus has to constantly keep on a short leash , and billy is a chaos demons that likes flirting with sejanus because it’s funny watching coryo get all murdery.

BIG FAN OF POLY CORYO SEJANUS AND LUCY GRAY!!! I love them as a couple esp when its lucy gray and sej being besties both dating coryo and all trying to take down the system using their own belief systems. Obviously their systems and morality clash with sej and coryo being more opposite ends of murder bad and murder good with lucy gray in the middle. it all works so well and i love them dearly <333
