So thanks to my lovely friend @insanelyadd and their hecking wonderful drawing and writing skills, I now have the worst brainrot known to man for their collector oc’s so I decided to design a collector oc for myself because I need to smooch them so badly. Her name is Eclipse (full name Eclipse Sun technically) and she hails from the Sun Family. I am so excited to share her lore but if you guys have any questions about her then feel free to shoot me an ask. And if you want any in-depth lore regarding the sun or other families, shoot my friend an ask cus they are so talented and creative.

Another year, Another June 16th, which means it’s Let Papyrus Say Fuck Day! Since the “It’s Pride Month” meme is circling around as of late, I decided to have my contribution for this year (which is a sprite comic for a change instead of just dialogue boxes) be based off of that meme to make it extra thematic with the month @insanelyadd​ @letpapyrussayfuckofficial​

Hi everyone, Happy Halloween, and happy annual update! We have a few important things to share with everyone, and we apologize for our recent silence. Admittedly, while we have been working away at the game behind the scenes, we have lost several volunteers throughout 2023, as they no longer had the time nor the drive to commit to BHC. We wish them all the best, and while filling in the gaps has taken some time, we are in a more comfortable place now, and have adjusted our team accordingly. Our progress should be must faster in the coming year, but on that note, we have a couple important announcements. Firstly, the game will no longer be fully voiced. Our VAs, some of which are voicing multiple characters, have not had the time to record, and we do not want to pressure them into recording the hundreds of lines needed within a set time frame. There will still be voicework in each date, but not to the same scale. Secondly, the demo re-release is still on the table, but due to the reason above, we are unsure when this will be happening. We will announce it when it is close to completion, and we apologize for the delay. Thirdly, we have one more big seasonal event we hope to bring to you soon. While we planned to have it out to you today, our sole programmer has caught a nasty case of COVID, and we will be waiting to release until they are well enough to wrap up loose ends. In the meantime, here is some preview artwork by the talented @/insanelyadd. Please look forward to it in the coming weeks. In the meantime, maybe you can match each symbol to a different skeleton? There are 10 of them after all ;)

Finally, we are happy to announce that we plan to have all assets completed for the full game by the end of 2024. The game itself may take a bit longer than that, but we hope to have it close to done by then. Blog updates may continue to be thin from here as a result, and while we still have a ways to go, we are still determined to finish the project. Aaaaah, thank you! It always makes me so happy to hear that you like her. Also, yes you were such a huge help with her second outfits design, thank you for listening to me yap about her so much.💕

As for her new outfit, it does have quite a few touches that were inspired by your lovely archivist. The choker was inspired by Penumbra’s. Her skirt was inspired by the bottom part of Solari’s jacket. The aiguillettes were inspired by the ones that Crescent has on her uniform and her boots were loosely based on Satellite’s. Her belt is also loosely based of off Satellite’s as well.
