My surreal fantasy WIP comprised of a collection of different stories linked by a unifying setting.

Colour-Coded to the max. Each central story focuses on a character assigned a colour, differing in tone, POV, and focus. Main three are purple, blue, and red.

Literal becomes figurative, and figurative literal

Charms and incantations of old swirl in from afar, weaving our hands together with something much deeper than flesh – a curious sentiment oozing from the recesses of Damsel’s cloak as the feeling of moss and stone wove through my veins; cold and refreshing.

‘What absurdity’, The Arbiter would think to himself. After all, those carmine red eyes of his delve into the primaeval madness: in their muddy depths lies the shivering madness - Fear. From fear is the knowledge wrenched from uncertainty and bloodshot eyes. Dread is the light; tugging on world-weary watchers. 

Sort of portal fantasy, sort of not. The stories in this WIP span across many eras and places, yet often find themselves connecting and mingling. Incredibly queer.

Name: Eirian (eye-ree-an) Aliases: Eirian Yascaret (or Eirian of Yascaret), Eirian the Hawk Age: 105 Years Pronouns: Any Race: Viera (Rava) Homeland: Born in the Golmorre Jungle but no longer considers it home| General Notes:  - Nonbinary and demisexual - Prefers swords as a weapon. - Warrior of Light; recruited by the Scions in 2.0.  Was picked up in Ul’dah by Thancred, who they share a sort of friendly rivalry with. - Jobs: Gladiator, Paladin, and Samurai - Hides tail because they’re sensitive about it - Doesn’t like being called cute - Embarrassed easily when complimented Personality: - Fairly stoic, described as a pragmatic workhorse. - Confident, rarely ever questions their own worth.  Also very quick to make decisions and rarely ever has to sit and ponder their next move.  Has been referred to as a strategist but Eirian dislikes that, saying that they “See the right path and they simply take it.” - Bottles feelings horribly and is stubborn to a fault. - Not particularly forgiving but will shelve personal feuds in favor of a greater good. - Has the mentality of “if you don’t see things my way and you want to make sure my way doesn’t happen, I will bludgeon you until you agree with me or cannot disagree. :) ” - Zero tolerance policy for cruelty and is pretty upfront about that. - Soft spot for kids and has been known to donate their gil earnings to various orphanages across Eorzea. - While not the most talkative, Eirian does enjoy light banter over a mug of ale.  It’s been said their love language is lightly roasting whoever they enjoy being around, all while sipping their drink innocently.

I make OCs almost daily at this point.  But it’s not every day that I make one that I like enough to add to the cast.  Eirian is an exception.  They’ve been floating about my braincase for a fair bit now and since they were persistent... here we are.  Some details may get fleshed out during Vierapril so stay tuned!  I know I’m very behind on it already but I’ll try my best to catch up soon!

Eirian is going to start appearing in fics fairly soon.  They were recruited into the Scions around the same time Kaida was.  As to who they will be shipped with (because we all know it’s inevitable)... well, I have some ideas.

She drags in pieces of the structures surrounding her labyrinth. Her familiar ??? has a duty to paint them.

Got some art of my shapeshifter sona (Cinnabunny, the Lopunny) in her witch form, PMMM-style! In this form, the skull is clay which sculpts itself between the skulls of different animals she took the shape of as a magical girl.

After all, one couldn't simply approach it without tripping a number of alarms. That wouldn't be a problem anymore.

"If we face any heavy resistance, however, I may have a contingency plan," they said after turning to follow behind Ramattra.

Of course Setesh's mind would be on a more pessimistic scenario.

As they walked in their usual rhythmic skip-like fashion, their antennae moved, attempting to intercept any signals or frequencies associated with either a high density of omnic activity or other radio frequencies their basic detection might miss.

So far, there was nothing. Nothing beyond present company.
