My thoughts on Infinity Cycle by Adam Silvera

Spoilers ahead (mainly for Infinity Kings)

“It gets better after the 3rd book/season/x amount of episodes”

That phrase turns me off from whatever form of media is being recommended. However, I am very glad I continued reading the trilogy after the (imo) bore fest that was Infinity Son

Infinity Kings was by far the best and I devoured it. Infinity Son bored me, Infinity Reaper held my attention, and Infinity Kings made me feel things

I started out hating the majority of the characters except for Emil and Ness. And honestly, Infinity Reaper just solidified my hate for Brighton. This isn’t a bad thing. I actually like that I hated Brighton. The scene in Kings where he slaughtered those Halo Knights and phoenixes made me genuinely angry and it was that scene I knew Brighton wouldn’t be redeemed, and I loved it.

Honestly, I’m surprised Silvera didn’t kill off Brighton or Emil permanently considering his older books.

I still dislike Maribelle but I no longer hate her like I did in Infinity Son. I really liked the enemies to lovers to friends thing she and Tala had.

Speaking of romance, I’m not a fan of love triangles and I really wished the series ended with Emil, Ness, and Wyatt getting together.

Here are my final ratings for the books and the trilogy as a whole

Adam Silvera posted the new covers for Infinity Son and Infinity Reaper and revealed the cover for the final book Infinity Kings. (The "classic" covers are also available).

While this hasn't been my favorite trilogy, I do like this art style and I was more YA covers would invest in this kind of style (or the artist herself).

it has been a longggg time sorry about that but ANYWAYS i finished infinity reaper by adam silvera and ITS SO GOOD this series is insane i loved it so much i would 100% recommend if you like the idea of superpowers and queer things. the love triangle is so good i’m team ness all the way and brighton needs to stop oml he’s so annoying i can rant about him for days he’s horrible. But anyways it’s a great book and series i would highly advise you read it and i’m back!! after like 8 months..

From disrespecting creators, to tax write-offs, to the Max purge, many Cartoon Network shows have suffered at the hands of greedy execs, who don't care for animation.

The entire animation industry is currently in a horrible place right now, where the artists responsible for the media we enjoy get worked to the bone by studios, and yet don't get paid enough money to survive comfortably.

And arguably worst of all, corporations have also started to use АI to replace those same artists with soulless machines. Artists' creativity, talent and skill is the foundation of ALL media (animation, video games, film, music, etc.) and robots can never replace what they provide to the world, but corporations don't care and WILL do it to save more money if they're allowed. Recently the Animation Guild was to negotiate with studios for a new contract that will benefit animation workers, but no agreement was reached and they're expected to try again in September. It's important now that we support the Animation Guild and animation workers in any way we can.
