I was hoping to have this done today but life happened so have this little tidbit instead...

“L-Luis… Luis please. You have to let go.” Leon hissed, his own hands clasped over Luis’s, trying to pull them away but they’re like stone digging into his flesh.  

There is still no indication that Luis even hears him. That he even knows where he is. His bright eyes are unfocused, unseeing.

Leon gives up on trying to pry Luis’s hands from him and out of nowhere a thought strikes him. He stopped his struggle and then gently placed a trembling hand onto the space between Luis’s shoulder blades. Leon gets a flash of ichor darkened veins, winding thickly around Luis’s spine. The hole Krauser’s knife left had long since healed, sealing Luis’s plaga inside.

His own plaga stilled in his chest and Leon took a deep breath.

He felt so foolish, but Leon had to try. He closed his eyes and tried to reach out. On his own, through his own plaga, whichever way worked. He just needed the thing to hear him. Surprisingly, it seems to work. Leon could feel it when they connected and immediately, he took the opportunity to try to convey to it that Luis was safe. That Leon was with him and that he would do whatever it took to make sure that nothing happened to him.

Hey. Hey, can you hear me? You’re safe. I’m here. You’re safe and so is Luis. I’ve got you. I won’t let anything happen to you.

Protect.

Leon gasped in shock.

Protect him.

He had been trying to talk to it. Was it anymore insane that he was communicating back.

Yes. I will protect him. I’ll protect you both. Just please… Please… you have to try. Try and calm down. You’re hurting him.

Crazy enough, it seemed to work. Luis’s grip loosened and Leon could do nothing but sigh in relief. His own plaga finally calmed in his chest.

“Fuck.” Leon panted and winced. A sense of dizziness overcoming him before it all went black.

Luis wasn’t bullshitting when he promised Leon he would cure him after this cult nonsense was over. In the meantime though, Luis needs to takes notes on how his serum is working and make sure Leon isn’t experiencing any other negative side effects besides the obvious mutation.

During one quick physcial however, Luis learns that Leon now makes cute chuffing noises, similar to a tiger, when he’s pleased or content. (( Doesn’t help that Leon was touched starved before this shit.))

the vague idea is that leon is under the impression that luis is a snake oil salesman. which isn’t an entirely wrong impression to have, but luis’s reasons, as ever, are a little more complicated. you get into debt with some bad people and they ask you to spread some weird tonics around and then bad things happen and you run away and start a new life somewhere, okay? and then maybe somewhere ends up under the influence of a cult! time is a circle. it’s fine. it’s whatever.

Luis joins Ashley and Leon after they escape the cabin. While they are together the three learn a little more about each other.

Luis is especially drawn to the blond agent. Partly because the plaga sees how strong, efficient and loyal Leon is. Which would make him an excellent partner for them. (it and Luis)

As the journey continious Luis and his plaga become more and more attached to the american and become more and more desperate to remove Sadlers plaga. Because Sadler cant have him, Sadler doesnt understand how important Leon is. How loyal and how brave he is. Sadler wouldnt appreciate Leons wit and dry humor. Sadler wouldnt care.

But they do. They want Leon as he is. They dont want a mindless ganado. They want a partner. And they would be so good to him. Spoil him and love him. They see behind the stoic facade the blodn puts up. They see those lonely, tired blue eyes. They know that lonelyness and they can make it better. Because they want him. They want him they want him they wanthimtheywanttheywanttheywant

They get seperated in Ramons castle.

No matter. Leon is stong and capable.

They will find their pritty mate again soon.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you! Ive been trying to figure out something for Luis for a while now but I just cant figure out anything. I want him to be unique yk?? I was thinking maybe something moth themed at first but I don't think thats unique enough.

Trying to figure out something that will relate to his personality, but Im not sure how to incorporate 'Smart, egotistical, guilty' into a bug themed monster design. If you have any ideas I would absolutely love to talk with you about them!! Im just drawing a blank rn :(

PLAGA PRIEST LEON + SELF AWARE AU IDEA

-Leon gets infected like normal, but instead of the normal gameplay

-he goes crazy, makes READER the new diety for los illuminados to worship

-main character energy so everyone believes him and he controls the whole cult, even saddler

-human sacrifice GALORE

-Tries to bring reader to his world, finding a vessel to be used

-can hear what's behind the veil(readers room) when focused

-maybe diff au where you play as Ashley trying to escape Spain, the cult wants to keep Ashley bc she's the chosen vessel

-OR AS KRAUSER!!! maybe theyre also self aware, with Wesker and Ada

-Krauser still does his thing with kidnapping Ashley but fails bc Ashley is the main character now

-the blue lantern!!! Blue lights surround ashley as a sign of protection/blessing from Reader in game.

-Though it would be cool to have badass ashley it would fit better if the game basically becomes a stealth game, she has to sneak around enemies just like her part from the library scenes

-the lantern as a weapon to burn/purify the infected

-wesker obsessed with getting the amber bc it's rumoured to have connections with the great deity, they can hear reader with it

-Wesker ALSO wanting to bring reader to their world bc he wants an actual powerful diety to rule with him-Unfortunately Idk where to put Luis :(((

-maybe ashleys companion that sticks with her bc he know he has a higher chance of survival being with the blessed maiden, hes the guy with the guns

-LUIS LIVES BC I SAY SO >:((

-... Or maybe we stick to badass ashley, but we have to sacrifice Luis.

-imagine a scene where Luis lays there dying and he teaches ashley how to finally properly use a gun and giving away his own

-The reader getting isekaied into re4r and merchant becomes their saviour/mentor, protects them from the others
