Hear me out, we pull a heist and steal the six of crows spin-off rights and script. Then we hire all the crows (Amita, Freddy, Danielle, Kit, Calahan, Jack) to record all their parts, then we hire the animators that made arcane to make an arcane style six of crows spin-off and another six of crows show that's more similar to the books (so we end up with both closure to the show and 2 six of crows shows)

I really want a novel about Captain Inej Ghafa, with her learning how to adapt to leading a crew and the sea. I want to read about her slaying evil men and then going through a revelation of doing the right thing but also feeling the pressure of sin. I want her to find kinship with her freedom but also express anxiety as to how her own family would see her like this. I want her to save young girls and form friendships with them. (Because goodness sake, as much as I adore her friendship with Nina, she really needs more female friends). I want to read about Inej confronting her parents about how this is the path she chose for herself, and she refuses to give it up, even if she would no longer be the daughter her parents want her to be.

And I want a side-plot with Kanej :3 In which she and Kaz write each other letters and Inej thinks whole-ass internal monologues about Kaz, and how much more in common she has with him than she initially thought. And Kaz being a sailer's wife!!!

Like one day (many many years after ck) he sit s clos to inej, holding her hand and crows being loud as always and he just close his eyes .

Lately I've seen a lot of posts about people saying that they can't imagine Kaz Brekker ever dying. The thing is, he really does have just about every base covered

Shoot him straight in the heart? Guess what moron; Inej knew of the plot before even you did, told him, and now he has at least three Heartrenders following him everywhere he goes (yes, three, just in case any of them decide to betray him). Even without a working heart, they force the blood to flow through him. Well, realistically Inej would cut your hands off before you shoot him, but still...

Try to poison him or give him some kind of life-threatening disease? He survived firepox, which would probably strengthen his immune system pretty good. That, plus with how paranoid he is, he probably pulled an extreme "Princess Bride" and built up resistance to every poison you can name

Let him get old and frail, unable to defend himself? He's lived with a broken leg for years, and has thrived with it. He is wealthy and well-connected, with ties to the Kerch Merchant Council, and the royal families of Ravka and Fjerda. Even without them he was a dangerous thief. Anything he needs, he can get, whether it be medical assistance, prosthetics, or just a new cane. Not even time itself can stop him

Point is, to all who say Kaz is immortal, I agree

Inej sometimes bridal carries Kaz in her arms when his leg hurts really badly and he thinks it's the hottest thing ever because it makes him feel like a princess

inej and jesper having crushes on kaz for majority of SOC is probably the funniest and best thing ever.

crow ships and serious conversations:

helnik- i feel like they talk through their problems very well. there's a LOT of physical contact. Nina's sitting in Matthias's lap, they're spooning, etc. but they both take these kind of discussions well and can talk everything all the way through so neither feel targeted or unappreciated. throughout they may smile or something,, but the vibe is mostly pretty serious until the convo is over

kanej- at the beginning of their relationship all their convos happen with Inej sitting above Kaz in some way- like she's on the arm of the couch with Kaz on the cushions, or the window sill, etc. because it helps her feel safe (not from Kaz, just in general). they also have very little physical touch, but as time goes on Inej feels more comfortable sitting next to Kaz, and they both feel more comfortable holding hands (but even then i feel like contact is pretty limited). all serious convos are occasionally broken up with laughing because one of them said something snarky.

wesper- serious conversations can happen anywhere. lying in bed, eating dinner, walking from one place to another, while the other is doing something, etc. plenty of physical contact, and eye contact is NEVER required. they're both prone to taking things personally, so they have specific phrases to help stop that. also, all convos have at least one moment where they're both laughing hysterically. can't breathe, tearing up, etc. they switch between serious and lighthearted without blinking an eye.
