Too Much Sauce
I just had a chance to dig into Harry's unreleased song - leaked in early January 2024 - Too Much Sauce. Hadn't listened properly utnil today. My first impression, nice nod to G. Harrison's, While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

But this is not a happy song. It smacks hard of industry abuse and the image that Harry's been subjected to play since the beginning of his career.
Sample lyrics: "Be what they want you to be." "I'm a simple boy, but I'm a good time Sally." "I'm a good time, make you feel all right." "Chewed it up and spat it out." "Now there's too much sauce, got to keep my fingers clean."
IHeart Radio (Jan. 16) and Anthony Pham (on Jan. 17) both alluded to the leaked song on their respective Instagrams. Not sure if allusions from were intentional but if not, it's a weird coincidence.
and by the way, if you haven't listened to While My Guitar Gently Weeps, there's a reason why Too Much Sauce references it.
What does it all mean? No idea. There's speculation it might be alluding to industry abuse because, coincidentally, today (1/17/24) is also day Irving Azoff is in court answering to alleged Sexual Assault and Trafficking Claims against his associates.

Oh god, you are right, I never thought about him jumping on the Olivia hate bandwagon as a pr move but it does make sense
yeah watching ppl hype shia labeof up in that situation despite everything (warning for discussion of abuse and sexual assault in the link), just bc he was positioned opposite two ppl who were very popular to hate at the time... unsurprising but deeply darksided. olivia wilde did in fact keep him on the movie for like six months after the allegations were made and suit filed, (although contrary to what that post implies he was fired before the movie started shooting; harry styles was his replacement), but like, the olivia hatetrain was not at all about that and we all know it. a truly abysmal couple of months for the internet

SAG-AFTRA Takes Up Bethenny Frankel’s Fight To Unionize Reality Show Contestants & End “Exploitative Practices”

"SAG-AFTRA, which covers the hosts but not the contestants on reality TV competition shows, said today that it’s working “toward the protection of the reality performers” in an effort to end “the exploitative practices that have developed in this area” and “to engage in a new path to union coverage.”
“We are tired of studios and production companies trying to circumvent the union in order to exploit the talent that they rely upon to make their product,” the guild said.
The announcement comes after Bethenny Frankel, a former star of The Real Housewives of New York City, suggested that reality performers should go on strike in order to win residuals for their work and to combat abuses in the workplace. Reality show hosts, but not contestants, are covered by the guild’s Network Code, which is not part of its strike against films and scripted TV shows.
“Why isn’t reality TV on strike?” Frankel said in a recent TikTok video. “I got paid $7,250 for my first season of reality TV, and people are still watching those episodes.” Reality stars, she said, “are the stepchildren, the losers, the mules, the pack horses. The ones that the entertainment industry is going to rely on, right now, to carry the water and do the heavy lifting when real stars, real A-list Hollywood is on strike.”
She added, “Reality television exploits affairs, bankruptcy, falling off the wagon, not really having what you say you have, something inappropriate, risking cancellation every single time the camera goes on.”
To address the alleged abuse of reality stars, she’s engaged high-powered attorneys Bryan Freedman and Mark Geragos to investigate the alleged abuse of reality stars.
In a statement today, SAG-AFTRA said that it “has engaged in discussions with Bryan Freedman at the Freedman + Taitelman, LLP law firm who has been retained by Bethenny Frankel around the subject of treatment of reality performers. SAG-AFTRA is the union that represents reality performers. Depending on the structure of the production and the performers involved, we can cover these performers under our Network Code Agreement.
“We stand ready to assist Bethenny Frankel, Bryan Freedman and Mark Geragos along with reality performers and our members in the fight and are tired of studios and production companies trying to circumvent the Union in order to exploit the talent that they rely upon to make their product.
“We encourage any reality performers and/or members to reach out to SAG-AFTRA’s Entertainment Contracts Department so that we may work together toward the protection of the reality performers ending the exploitative practices that have developed in this area and to engage in a new path to union coverage.”
“Please be advised that the day of reckoning has arrived,” Freedman, working with Geragos, said in a letter sent to NBCUniversal on Aug. 3. “While our investigation is still ongoing, we have reason to believe that cast members and crewmembers on NBC reality TV shows have been subjected to disturbing mistreatment by NBCUniversal and/or its employees, contractors, and third-party affiliates.”
Building off Frankel’s union aims, the list of such mistreatment that Freedman lays out includes:
Deliberate attempts to manufacture mental instability by plying cast members with alcohol while depriving them of food and sleep.
Denying mental health treatment to cast members displaying obvious and alarming signs of mental deterioration.
Exploiting minors for uncompensated and sometimes long-term appearances on NBC reality TV shows.
Distributing and/or condoning the distribution of nonconsensual pornography.
Covering up acts of sexual violence.
Refusing to allow cast members the freedom to leave their shows, even under dire circumstances.
In response, an NBCUniversal spokesperson told Deadline that the company is “committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for cast and crew on our reality shows. At the outset, we require our third-party production partners to have appropriate workplace policies and training in place. If complaints are brought to our attention, we work with our production partners to ensure that timely, appropriate action is or has been taken, including investigations, medical and/or psychological support, and other remedial action that may be warranted such as personnel changes.”

You just finished filming a short interview in a docuseries with some of your former colleagues, those who fell into the same trap and downfall as you did. You prefer not to air everything out, but you knew your statement would support the others.
The industry basically forced you into a drug and alcohol addiction, one that you thankfully beat, but you went from someone who was once loved to someone hated, just from how the media spun your name.
You met George at a hospital event -you now work as a biochemist and bioengineer- and he immediately recognized his childhood crush. You dated for a year before feeling strong enough to go public, but ever since he posted a very cute picture of you, the hate has started again.
“I’ll make a statement asking them to leave you alone,” George offers but you shake your head no. He hates seeing you upset, but both of you didn’t expect the backlash on you.
“They won’t understand, they could never even try. They will never know what it was like to grow up like that, even the docuseries won’t help,” you start to dismiss the thought.
“We can’t do nothing,” he tries to reason, wanting to protect you.
“I don’t want to tiptoe around the public, but I don’t want to hide, either way I’m feeding this fire,” you groan, running your hand through your hair as you pace the room. You had to call off of work today, the entrance to your townhome being blocked by paparazzi.
“The story is gonna die, and we’ll be alright,” George stands up and pulls you into a hug. In your mind you picture the public liking you again, waiting for their love again.
A few days later, George drags you out of the house for lunch, you had only been leaving for work. The two of you step out, a reporter immediately coming up to you. You ignore the first few, sitting in your silence.
“It’s just me and you, Baby girl,” George whispers to you, supporting you however you choose to respond.
“Y/n, is it true that you have been in and out of rehab for the past year? You are in and out of hospitals,” one reporter, who always hounds you, asks causing you to whirl around. You don’t want to argue, but you don’t want to bite, so you choose a confusing answer.
“You’ve got me misunderstood, but at least I look this good,” you smirk, watching their face scrunch in confusion, gripping their paper and pen, before continuing your walk.
The next day a clip of one of your short interviews drops, taken while you were in college, as a trailer for the docuseries release the following week.

I don’t like how this industry painted me, but I’m still here hanging, just not what they made me. It’s almost like a daydream sometimes, finally leaving that world. I feel so seen, I am everything that I defined myself as, not all that the industry made me be. My truth and I may always sit in silence, but one day I hope I am brave enough to say it out loud. NewJeans fans comparing NewJeans so called mistreatment to the mistreatment of LOONA and FIFTY FIFTY is NOT in the same category. They do NOT sit in the same bracket. Nor is it an act of feminism on their part. Defending their groomer and abuser is NOT an act of feminism here.
LOONA and FIFTY FIFTY were mistreated extremely. They had proof. FIFTY FIFTY were literally being starved, overworked, abused...etc...with proof they still lost the lawsuit. LOONA was being overworked and not paid and still lost.
NewJeans alleged "abuse" is someone not greeting them in the elevator and another manager of another group ignoring them and telling others as well and the new CEO telling them to move on. Yes, I would tell them the same thing.
These girls have stuck by their abuser SO much, Min Hee Jin has successfully isolated these girls and made them feel completely dependent on HER only. I don't blame other staff or groups for ignoring NJs. MIn Hee Jin has shown she IS the problem and these girls have done nothing but stick by her like fools. Of course other groups don't want to jeopardize their own groups and careers by associating with that. I would do the same! Especially after MHJ was exposed for her being a defender and covering up SA/Harassment in the workforce and harassing employees. That's crazy!
Someone ignoring you is NOT the end of the world. They ignore you, you ignore them. You get over it. Not everyone has to give you the time of day and cater to your every needs. I'm sorry, NewJeans, but you are NOT the money makers of HYBE. HYBE most definitely will not hurt if you disband. As a matter of fact, they've been putting out too much money on NewJeans, it's actually more expensive to keep them at this point.
I am actually floored seeing this unfold. These girls NEED to leave the industry at this point and seek intensive therapy. The adults around them have FAILED them and they should no longer be in this industry. If they are going to cry everytime someone doesn't say hi then they aren't fit to be idols.
Min Hee Jin has done SO much damage on these girls. They will blindly follow their groomer who has done nothing but bring them down this whole time. This woman has lied, defamed, harassed, and attacked other groups. She has forced NewJeans to do the same and has shielded herself behind them claiming "NewJeans made me do it, I'm doing this for NewJeans," when she has 2 active criminal cases against her and 5 active lawsuits. These girls kept publicly thanking her in front of the people she attacked over and over again and put out articles against them to bring up NJs. That is NOT protecting your group.
The only mistreatment here is from Min Hee Jin. She has lied to these girls, she has manipulated these girls, she has abused these girls. and she has gaslit these girls. These girls can do what they want now that they're adults, but if they want to work in the industry again, they better go begging on their knees to the CEO and ask for forgiveness. They just ruined every chance of working in the industry again.

The US Department of Justice has sued Ticketmaster and its parent company, Live Nation Entertainment, for abusing their alleged monopoly in the ticketing market to trample competitors.
Filed on Thursday in the Southern District of New York, the lawsuit focuses on Ticketmaster’s long-term exclusivity contracts with many of the largest music venues, making it the predominant ticketing service available to concertgoers. The firm secures these deals in part by “threatening and retaliating against venues that work with rivals,” the DOJ alleges.
In the complaint, the DOJ accuses Ticketmaster and Live Nation, which acts as a promoter for hundreds of high-profile artists, of exploiting their relationship to establish a “self-reinforcing flywheel” that blocks competitors from gaining a foothold. Live Nation parlays its exclusive promotion deals into exclusive ticketing deals with venues, the DOJ claims, which are left with no practical choice but to go with Ticketmaster, for fear of losing access to sought-after acts represented by its parent company. The DOJ is seeking to break up the joint organization.
“We allege that Live Nation relies on unlawful, anticompetitive conduct to exercise its monopolistic control over the live events industry in the United States at the cost of fans, artists, smaller promoters, and venue operators,” says attorney general Merrick Garland in a statement. “The result is that fans pay more in fees, artists have fewer opportunities to play concerts, smaller promoters get squeezed out, and venues have fewer real choices for ticketing services. It is time to break up Live Nation–Ticketmaster.”
In a lengthy statement provided to WIRED, Live Nation disputes the DOJ's allegation that it and Ticketmaster wield monopoly power. “The DOJ's lawsuit won't solve the issues fans care about relating to ticket prices, service fees, and access to in-demand shows,” the company says. “Calling Ticketmaster a monopoly may be a PR win for the DOJ in the short term, but it will lose in court because it ignores the basic economics of live entertainment, such as the fact that the bulk of service fees go to venues, and that competition has steadily eroded Ticketmaster’s market share and profit margin.”
The charges brought by the DOJ mirror allegations made previously against Ticketmaster in two ongoing private lawsuits.
In December 2022, Ticketmaster was sued by hundreds of Taylor Swift fans, who brought a case in response to a high-profile ticketing debacle that reportedly left them queuing for hours to pay for tickets that they had been assigned under an early access program, with many ultimately unable to claim their allocations. The incident led to a hearing by the Senate Judiciary Committee on consolidation in the ticketing industry and, reportedly, helped catalyze the investigation into Ticketmaster by the DOJ.
In their lawsuit, the Swift fans accused Ticketmaster of abusing its dominant position to impose “higher prices in the presale, sale, and resale market for concert tickets.” The company has “effectuated this anticompetitive scheme by forcing fans of musicians to use Ticketmaster exclusively to buy concert tickets,” the lawsuit alleged.
In the second case, a class action brought in 2022 on behalf of Ticketmaster customers in the US, Live Nation and Ticketmaster were accused of abusing the complementary relationship between their services to overcharge consumers and sustain their monopoly. “Live Nation controls the vast majority of the big national touring acts and, either explicitly or implicitly, coerces concert venues into selecting Ticketmaster as their ticketing service provider on pain of losing high-value acts,” claims Adam Wolfson, a partner at Quinn Emanuel, the law firm representing the plaintiffs.
This type of conduct, known as tying, was explicitly forbidden under the consent decree imposed upon Live Nation and Ticketmaster by the DOJ as a condition of their 2010 merger. “Our allegation is that they did it anyway,” says Wolfson. “Ticketmaster’s behavior is an open secret—everyone talks about it.”
In a corporate blog post published in March, Dan Wall, executive vice president of corporate and regulatory affairs at Live Nation, rejected allegations that Ticketmaster is driving up the price of tickets. The face value of a ticket is decided by the artist, he wrote, while the service charge—from which Ticketmaster draws its cut—is set by the venue.
In a call with reporters, a senior DOJ official described this line of defense as a “red herring” in the context of the alleged antitrust violations. “Our position is that removing the chokehold that Live Nation has at all levels of the ecosystem will be beneficial with respect to the way prices are set.”
A problem common to antitrust disputes, says Bradley Justus, an antitrust attorney at law firm Axinn, is the difficulty in distinguishing easily between practices that amount to anticompetitive behavior and those that might be considered sensible business strategy. The DOJ will argue that the exclusive deals entered into by Ticketmaster are categorically anticompetitive. “The antitrust question is: How extensive is the scope of those agreements? Are they truly so broad that another competitor couldn’t enter and scale?” says Justus.
The DOJ claims that the terms of the contracts mean that “venues cannot consider or choose rival ticketers or switch to better or more cost-effective ticketing technology.” The effect, it claims, is both to stifle competitors and minimize the pressure for Ticketmaster to improve its own product, to the detriment of concertgoers.
Although the DOJ has petitioned for Live Nation to be broken up, it has not outlined the specific structural changes it will go after, nor any injunctions it may try to impose with respect to the company’s exclusive contracts. “A breakup is absolutely on the table, but it’s important not to put the cart before the horse. In antitrust cases, any remedy has to be specifically tailored to the violation found,” a senior DOJ official told the press. “Based on the allegation that Live Nation and Ticketmaster have exerted control at every level of the ecosystem, aspects of the company need to be broken apart in order for competition to flourish in the live music industry.”

tbh this is entirely unrelated but just something that's been on my mind for months but i feel like so many people underestimate just how much of a nightmare the streaming industry is. like i'm on the absolute outskirts of it and just what i've heard from friends is atrocious. there's many good people there but so many people at the top are vile individuals who get into the industry for the sole reason of exploiting vulnerable young people (see: ryan p, notorious serial abuser and former manager of lunch club and also worked with dteam, tubbo, etc. and has had countless allegations from both his clients and fans) and like. corporations fucking you over and people stalking you and threatening you and it's just like
man. i love my streamer friends, but i would never want to be a streamer.
(it's also just kind of terrifying when you get a random call from a cc friend of yours telling you that twomad's planning to shoot up twitchcon and then months later the dude dies and you find out it was all true so)

Saw the Beast Games allegations on my dash again and I think I've finally managed to articulate why anyone who was still supportive of Jimmy should have seen this coming a mile away.
What a lot of people noticed about the eye surgery video was that it was dehumanising, which was met with the response that Jimmy wasn't doing anything overtly cruel or exploitative, he was using his money to help people who wouldn't get help otherwise, "benevolent" dehumanisation if you will. If you've ever been on the receiving end of a social service or large charity organisation you've probably experienced this.
The problem is once you dehumanise someone in a "nice" way it makes space in peoples minds to dismiss genuine harm. It's part of the reason the whole charity industrial complex is set up the way it is, it allows the moderately left-leaning upper middle class to feel like they're helping the same people their lifestyle systematically exploits without noticing the necessary cognitive dissonance. After all, the disadvantaged aren't real people with essential dignity, they're just inert receivers that you shovel money onto for good person points.
So seeing this benevolent dehumanisation in a Mr Beast video was a huge red flag to a lot of people who've either been on the other end of it or know someone who has, because we know what it paves the way for; malevolent dehumanisation, the textbook kind that gets you abused, neglected and exploited.

Outcaste Nakshatras: The Outsiders (part 3)
Here's part 1 and part 2
The more I study Mleccha nakshatra natives and the art they make, the more I understand how deeply lonely it is to have a Mleccha nak (Bharani, Ashlesha, Vishaka, Shravana) and I really feel for them. To live your whole life feeling misunderstood and othered is so difficult.
The movie Edward Scissorhands is a really good example of the "outcast" trope. The titular character is played by Johnny Depp who has Ashlesha Rising and his love interest is played by Winona Ryder who has Mercury (amatyakaraka) & Venus (atmakaraka) in Vishaka
I find Outcaste nak pairing very interesting because obviously you only feel like you belong/truly feel accepted in the presence of another Outcast.
Sidharth Malhotra, Vishaka Moon is married to Kiara Advani, who has Mercury & Venus (atmakaraka) in Ashlesha (if you have 2 or more planets in the same nak that energy is very concentrated even if its not your big 3)
they're both known for being pretty low-key people which is unusual in Bollywood lmao
Sid is an "outsider" which is what we call non-nepo actors in India. imagine the extent of nepotism in cinema in India that its the exception to be an "outsider"lmao. anyway Sid is pretty reserved and introverted and is known for not fitting in with the Bollywood crowd. Kareena Kapoor, Shravana Moon is married to Saif Ali Khan, Ashlesha Sun & Shravana Moon
Kareena's parents are famous actors who are separated (her dad was misogynistic and abusive and didn't want women to act) and even tho she's a nepo baby she didn't grow up with the same privileges as others in her famous family. Her elder sister had to drop out of school to support the family by acting as they were raised by a single mom and had fallen on bad times. You can see how the "outcast" themes were present in Kareena's life even though she's a very privileged nepo baby
Saif is also a nepo baby (welcome to bollywood lol) but he married a much older actress when he was 21 and had two kids. they later got divorced and Saif received a ton of bad press for alleged adultery, not getting custody or visitation rights of the kids, not paying child support (the amount was absurdly high tbh) etc he didn't fit in with the other actors of his generation. The media & public went crazy when news of Saif & Kareena getting married came out bc Saif is a divorcee with 2 kids (this stuff is still taboo in India unfortunately) and Kareena is one of the most successful stars of her generation. But they've been married for 10+ yrs and have 2 kids and are as happy as ever.
Even Kareena's longterm ex-boyfriend, Shahid Kapoor was a Mleccha caste nak guy (he has Vishaka Moon)
Expanding on the outcast tropes, Shahid's parents separated when he was young and he saw little of his biological father. He had to work very hard for very long to break into the industry and even now, he's not really given his due as an actor.
Alia Bhatt, Shravana Rising is married to Ranbir Kapoor, Shravana Moon
their marriage seems hella toxic to me ngl BUT they've both had similar childhoods.
Alia & Ranbir are both nepo babies (welcome to bollywood), Alia is like a tier 3 nepo (her father is a notoriously controversial filmmaker) whilst Ranbir is like a tier 1 nepo (he is a 4th generation actor from the biggest film family in India) however both their parents had unhappy marriages, and both of them had abusive fathers. trauma bonding, mayhaps? they're both also extremely close to their mothers as well (Moon dominant people often tend to be)

This is interesting to me because BP is the biggest girl group of all time yet they are also probably disproportionately hated for things they cant even control. they were mismanaged by a shitty ass company with very few comebacks and barely got to display their true calibre as artists and their media interactions, promos, other activities etc were severely controlled and restricted. all of this is to say that despite being the most successful group their actual experiences are far from sunshine and roses. they were treated like outcasts by their company and the industry and fans. they trained for 4-6 years, enduring a brutal and toxic system, worked very hard with what they were given, with 0 creative liberty to come this far im glad theyre pursuing solo careers now and hope to see them thrive<333
the movie Lost in Translation is a good example of two outcasts/lonely people who find comfort in each other

So they had a really fcked up marriage that I won't get into but they were both people who felt like outcasts in their lives. Sridevi grew up with a stepfather and was pushed into acting by her mother when she was 3-4 years old (she's like an Indian Judy Garland tbh) who deprived her of formal education and a normal life so that she'd be the family cash cow. Being South Indian, she also found it hard to fit in among Bollywood folks as she initially spoke neither Hindi nor English. Boney's the ugly duckling of his family and his younger brother is one of the most famous/iconic actors ever, he had to become a movie producer since his brothers became actors and his father (who was a movie producer) thought it would be better if he stayed behind the scenes. themes of exclusion and outcast-ness crop up in their lives and in the lives of all the people I mention here.
Lady Bird is a good example of a movie about a female teenage outcast. The titular character is played by Saoirse Ronan, who has Bharani Moon
Recently I came across the content creator, Alana Lintao who often makes shorts about social behaviour. This one in particular stood out to me because its literally about one person being excluded by a group of friends or being treated like "the other".
Alana plays the excluded friend in this short as well. She has Bharani Sun, Swati Moon and Mercury in Revati amatyakaraka (Swati & Revati are both Shudra naks)
Outcaste naks are vilified and crucified for mistakes others get away with.

Ariel Winter has spoken out about how acting wasn't her choice, but it was her mother's. Ariel shared that her mother, Crystal Workman, had dreams of being an actor herself. Ariel said that with Crystal as her stage mom, she dealt with a lot of abuse and exploitation.

Now Bollywood is an industry run by film dynasties, its very rare for someone from the outside to break in and make it big. Being an "Outsider" is very difficult, people bully you, try to sabotage your career, try to isolate you etc etc, needless to say its not for the faint of heart. So lets take a look at some of the most successful "Outsiders" in Bollywood who made it big without any family in the business
ofc we have to start with the most successful outsider of all time, Shahrukh Khan, Shravana Moon
he truly came from nothing (father died when he was a teenager, mother died before he made his debut, has a sister with special needs who he has taken care of his entire life) and became the biggest star in the world.
Akshay Kumar, Vishaka Moon, he was a martial artist, chef, waiter and worked numerous odd jobs before he started modelling in his late 20s and later started acting and today he has a net worth of $340 million
Anushka Sharma, Bharani Sun
her life is truly a case of being lucky af, she was a model and by the age of 19-20 she was cast in a film opposite Shahrukh Khan aka the biggest actor in the country produced by YRF, one of the biggest film production companies in India. its truly a fairy tale because neither can Anushka act nor is she gifted in any other way (bad dancer, heck she was even an awful model) but she's incredibly successful in every way and is now married to the (former) Captain of the Indian cricket team
Deepika Padukone, Shravana Rising
she is from a privileged background (her dad's a renowned badminton player) but she worked very very hard to get where she is today and has had more career longevity than just about any other actress.
Bipasha Basu & John Abraham, Bharani Moon
they were both a hot couple who were really popular in the 2000s
there are many other successful Outsiders but they don't have outcaste naks lol, these are the only ones i can think of rn :/

Being accused of sexual misconduct as a famous man really just makes you a martyr in the eyes of your fans. Russell Brand got a standing ovation last night because of the allegations against him. You watch the discussions people are having online, and as is shocking to nobody, his supporters think everything he did is completely justifiable and acceptable behaviour. He’s their special darling whose sexual interest in abusing children is only being turned into a problem because the man who presented for the BBC, Channel Four and MTV, has been on the biggest stand up and panel comedy shows in the UK, done major films, is or has been friends with half of the entertainment industry for decades, who has millions of followers on YouTube and other major content platforms, is somehow anti-establishment.

Imane Khelif.
In 2018 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships, Khelif participated for the first time, where she ranked 17th after being eliminated from the first round.
In the 2019 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships held in Russia, where she ranked 33rd after being eliminated from the first round against Natalia Shadrina.
Khelif represented Algeria in the lightweight event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. She was defeated by Ireland's Kellie Harrington in the quarterfinals.
Khelif participated in the 2022 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships, she faced Ireland's Amy Broadhurst in the final and was defeated.
She is not a warmachine. Khelif is a biological woman. Khelif is NOT transgender or transsexual. In Algeria, the country that Khelif represents, transgender identity is prohibited, changing sex or gender is not allowed in official documents, nor are medical or hormonal treatments allowed to transition to another sex. If she was transgender, Khelif would not be able to rapresent her country at all nor travel with an official passport with a female identity!
However, pop up this rumor she was disqualified from 2023 IBA's Women's World Boxing Championships due to high levels of testosterone. Later this was debunked by the same organization. Potentially, could be doping and it was all covered up by sport industry.
Edit: This disqualification happened three days after Khelif defeated Azalia Amineva, a previously unbeaten Russian athlete. The disqualification restored the Russian boxer's undefeated record and IBA has huge ties with the Russian government: the president Kremlev is a Putin supporter and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) expressed concerns about the IBA under Kremlev's leadership. The IOC has also been alarmed by the fact that the IBA's only sponsor was a Russian state-owned energy company (Gazprom) that supports the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Imane Khelif is a UNICEF ambassador, which could again have been seen as a problem by Russian-led IBA, since UNICEF condemned Russian invasion of Ukraine. IBA's allegations that Khelif had failed unspecified eligibility tests are suspicious, expecially because no medical evidence that Khelif has XY chromosomes or elevated levels of testosterone has been published.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC), cleared Khelif to compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, confirming that she complied with all necessary eligibility and medical regulations for the event. The IOC noted that Khelif was a woman according to her passport and that this was not a "transgender issue".
She defeated Angela Carini in 42 seconds at the 2024 Olympics, after Carini decided to withdraw citing intense pain in her nose.
This remember me the 'Caster Semenya' case: after Semenya's victory at the 2009 World Championships, she was made to undergo sex testing, and cleared to return to competition the following year. The decision to perform sex testing sparked controversy in the sporting world and in Semenya's home country of South Africa. Later reports disclosed that Semenya has the intersex condition 5α-reductase 2 deficiency and natural testosterone levels in the typical male range.
In 2019, new World Athletics rules came into force preventing athletes like Semenya with certain disorders of sex development (DSDs) from participating in 400m, 800m, and 1500m events in the female classification, unless they take medication to suppress their testosterone levels. Semenya has filed a series of legal cases to restore her ability to compete in these events without testosterone suppression, arguing that the World Athletics rules are discriminatory.
As Khelif, Semenya is cis and has been accused by many people to be trans. Her story has, again, been used and abused to support the anti-trans agenda, claiming that two ciswomen are trans and are unfairly competing with women due to their superior "men strength".
I think Angela Carini was anxious and scared by days of reporter and far-right rumors about how Khelif is incredibly strong and unbeatable, even if Carini has better statistics and more victories in her career than Khelif herself (who was already a Olympics athlete), she was strumentalized by far-right propaganda and made a scene during the match due to anti-trans panic.
J. K. Rowling and Elon Musk, as always, had their small moment of shaming athletes. Most of people think that Carini has been strumentalized by anti-trans Italian propaganda and after being called out for harassing a cisgender woman, she claimed to be sorry for not having respected her adversary during the match.

More thoughts on supporting GO S3
I will always be grateful to GO for giving me comfort in troubling times, but now I find it difficult to support a new season of the series that mainly benefits an alleged perpetrator.
Five credible sexual assault allegations against Neil Gaiman and he's still capable of successfuly releasing another project under his name. Season 3 being released helps him to keep his status as a lucrative creator in the entertainment industry and this helps him to conserve the power that has allowed him to get away with it for so long. His PR team has been making a great work burying the news about the allegations and sadly people hyping Good Omens season 3, without mentioning the allegations, inadvertendly helped on this as well.
However, my opinion will not determine the future of the season. We could assume that Amazon has already invested a lot in the production to just abandon it, so the second best thing would be to ask Amazon to fire Gaiman, he could secretly keep working on the series and the scripts were mainly written by him (the actors and everyone involved will voice Gaiman's words, ugh), and the series will be promoted undeniably mentioning him as one of the creators (I'm sorry for the victims having to hear people praising his name everywhere once again :c), but luckily the news about the allegations would also spread further, more people would come to know about the dangers of Gaiman's predatory behaviour and he would see some consequences.
I still think that cancelling the season would be the best case scenario, but firing him resoundingly and making the reasons for his dismissal heard far and wide might be a reasonable middle ground.
This is just my opinion, but I understand that at the end of the day it's an individual decision whether or not to support the third season.
I'm just going to ask everyone to please reflect on the power Gaiman gains from the projects that are released under his name (not just financially).
Thanks to everyone who has spoken up about the SA accusations even if it hurt to learn that someone who helped create such beloved stories ended up doing so much damage as well.
Here there is a great post that presents actions that fans can take in support of firing Gaiman, still having Season 3, and not ignoring that the allegations exist.

It has been confirmed that both Gaiman and his own production company are out of the project, thanks to everyone who supported his dismissal!
The changes made for the GO final serve as a message to the creators and everyone abusing of their power:
If you harm people, it will not be without consequences for you and the things you profit from financially and professionally.
Power to the victims. They were brave enough to share their stories. You will never be forgotten.

we should abolish prostitution, period.
„but what will women with no other options do?“ they should not be prostituted in the first place because thats coercion of sexual acts which is illegal. if they cant say no without serious consequences, and the sex buyers know that or at least have to assume it (because why would she be prostituted if she didnt need money), it makes them abusers and sexual offenders and they should be treated as such.
„but what about the women who enjoy doing it?“ if they have other options - they can do something else. their alleged personal enjoyment does not matter more than the overall harm the industry afflicts on marginalised people, especially women.
„but then it will just become invisible and social workers cant reach the women“ invisible prostitution is not reduced when buying sex is legal, legalisation just additionally creates and fosters visible prostitution. apartment and other hidden prostitution is common whether buying sex is legal or not.
„but trafficking is already illegal, prostitution should be legal“ you are a fool if you believe those are two entirely separate things; the voluntary vs forced prostitution binary is misleading on purpose, a lot if not most prostitution is inbetween: being under financial duress, impoverished and/or having financial dependents like children and other family certainly inhibits free and voluntary choice.
„but all labour under capitalism is coerced, prostitutes need workers rights and protection“ and in any other context, coerced sexual acts are recognised as violence, not labour. other industries and job are exploitative, but dont constitute sexual violence.
„but what will the women do?“ what is your proposition? they will certainly never get out of the system if their sexual abuse is legitimised and supported by legalising the purchase of sex. we should emphasise creating alternatives and lifting women out of desperate situations, and urge our governments to take action. harm reduction is important now but the longterm goal should be abolition, making buying sex legal only strengthens and helps the system - and damns marginalised people to this fate now and in the future.

We could start a petition for him to be castrated since he’s a rapist. Losing his dick would hurt more than criticism of him or his stories would.
As charming as the fantasy is, that's all it is. Being practical as a fandom is what's going to be most useful to you.
If you must have his books, buy them secondhand, pirate the movies and TV shows, boycott any appearances or events he intends to appear at. Most importantly, and this is cliché as hell, spread the word. Tell other fans, tell event organizers, etc etc etc. Make him radioactive as an association.
The rape allegations are unlikely to hold up in the courts but the accounts of abuse and predatory behavior are way too common to be ignored anymore. Let it be known in the industry that you, as media enjoyers, will not accept this kind of behavior from creators. Neil made it this far because the whisper network protected him, now is the opportunity to break that wide open and cut off his access to the kind of power and influence that allowed him to do as he pleased.
