Random Good Omens / Sandman crossover thought that made me giggle:

Crowley and Hob as drinking buddies.

We know Crowley can do pathetic drunk - whisky by the bottle with Hozier monologuing when he thought his Angel was dead

And Hob can drink like a fish - 1989 non-stop drink mixing all day and still able to have a perfectly sober conversation with the landlord in the evening

They don't know how or where they first met or how they got talking, but the truth is they got into a drinking contest with lines something like:

C: I'm a Demon, I can drink anything and be okay.

H: Yeah, well I can't die, I can drink anything too.

It was meant to be a competition to the last man standing, but neither of them remembers who won.

Now they meet up every so often for a rematch and to bitch about their Angel and their Stranger.

They both get sad drunk.

Neither of them realise Hob knows Arizaphale, obviously having such specialist knowledge of early printing makes the bookshop a place of nostalgia for Hob and he will happily discuss this with the proprietor over hot cocoa while making no attempt to ever buy a book.
