I mean this gently but I have to say somethin' here- I've been getting so much "make your skirts cheaper" "I love this but why are they soooo expensive" etc lately and like look, I know a lot of this is because times are hard.. (otherwise why would I be hearing this more & more this year when prices haven't changed compared to last year) but I just wanna say that one of the only ways I could lower prices (if I was ruthless and didn't care) would be to cut sizing options. Like idk how to word what I'm trying to say, but just know when you shout stuff like this at other brands & they decide they need to find a way to cut costs to lower prices, being size inclusive is gonna be one of the first things to go. I have no plans to do this myself, but for example, a D Size Skater costs me almost twice as much (talking about only the direct from the manu cost, there are other factors too such as that they weigh more so that adds more shipping costs as well) as an A Size Skater. Say I cut D Size altogether.. and many companies would have by now while also not even lowering the price.. I could increase my profit margins significantly right away. Now lets say I cut both C and D and become a shop that only offers the standard range of SM-XL. Wow! Suddenly profits are up so much!! Or maybe going not full corporate greed, I could handle lowering skater prices by like $10 (random number not based on real math idk what things would actually work out to because I'm not gonna do it). But now no one over a size XL can order from me. I fear none of what I'm trying to get across is getting across but I just mean to say, in order to offer what I offer, the prices need to be what they are. They aren't set arbitrarily high & lowering them would mean needing to make choices that I will not make (becoming less size inclusive or making my business unsustainable in the sense that it would not survive long).
#long post#ramblings#witch vamp#size inclusive fashion#my size range is a significant factor in the pricing#and i just want to make that clear#would having no D Size be worth it to have lower skirt prices? no C or D to have much lower prices?? ya'll tell me..#because i don't think it is#but that's one thing that a lot of other fashion brands do to have lower prices :[#if you've ever wondered why so many shops don't offer beyond an XL now you know#(also tho it's just hard to find manus or suppliers that will go above XL/2X range)#text post#behind the scenes#idk i hope this makes sense

people are going to hate on me and tell me I'm oppressed by the patriarchy/society for this but I actually like wearing bras. I have a large chest and it's so fricking uncomfortable when those things are just hanging around. a nice supportive, comfortable bra is my best friend actually.
#glamorise should just sponsor me already they're my favorite size inclusive bras#I just got 2 more in different styles so I have one I can wear with dresses and a good ''standing all day at work'' one#and nothing beats that brand new comfy bra feeling lbr#Lu rambles#non rebloggable bc people do not need to be rbing a post about my badonkalonks

Just out of curiosity since its my special interest; what kind of fashion styles would you say you wear/would like to wear? smile
ooo i feel like it's a mix of multiple styles! my friends irl either say that i dress emo or y2k style (i wear a lot of skirts over jeans, fun hats, leg warmers, lots of accessories and stuff...) my main style inspirations are stuff from fruits mag and random outfit pics from pinterest - i buy a lot of my clothes from chinese indie brands like cfierce, eyeelike, and double punch if that gives a good idea!
in short - in warmer months, my style is more harajuku/y2k/etc inspired - colorful oversized shirts, lots of hairclips, keychains, and accessories, cargo pants and shorts, etc!
and in colder months, more emo (according to my friends - i personally don't consider myself emo)/mori kei/twee??? idrk - dark patterned cardigans and sweaters, layered leg warmers, scarfs, hats (like ushankas and baker caps etc)!
if i could dress any other way, i would dress every way. i love all alternative fashion styles so much!!! i've loved alt fashion since i was a wannabe fairy kei 8 year old haha
#ask zeno#chinese indie brands are seriously underrated btw. a lot of stuff you see on pinterest that's miscredited as japanese or korean ...#its actually from chinese brands!#some more brands i've been eyeing are starry uff - hashtag DDD - 4re1gn - and i've also bought some stuff from no romance too!#the only downsides of chinese brands is that you have to jump through a million hoops to buy stuff from proxy sites#pay a shit ton for shipping#and often times the sizing is REALLY limited#i'm UK size XS-S and couldnt fit into M-sized jeans from nonamespace that my sister bought lol#luckily some brands have better sizing but its still a big issue#there are a few western brands that are similar and with more inclusive sizing though! i'd recommend sixth dimension in particular#and i wish i could reccomend minga london but they are seriously extortionate for their quality unfortunately#everything else i get from depop and vinted and other forms of thrifting - i try to avoid fast fashion as much as possible#though most of my accessories were bought from aliexpress a few years ago before i stopped using it#i'm really glad you asked this actually lol i love waffling about fashion stuff

I know we as a society have about a hundred million bigger fish to fry right now but I hope at some point within my lifetime we get around to fixing the absolute hellscape that is the women's clothes sizing system
#ruth o'brien i am in your walls#shitty ass data that is Still screwing us over today#that and vanity sizing.#What size am I? Beats me. In this top I'm a small. In those pants I'm a medium.#take both sizes to the dressing room for a higher chance of success and sometimes NEITHER of them fit#there is no standard. literally none. it varies from brand to brand.#and of course the lack of body inclusivity is a huge problem also. I'm just mad abt my personal shopping frustrations

Sorry can’t talk rn, I’m conjuring up an au that involves fashion designer Jesse and his muse/ famous model boyfriend Nacho.
Ok fine. So a while ago, Jesse’s enthusiasm towards character design and sketching gave me the idea of him having a knack for it ever since he was little and following that passion as he grew up. His story about the wooden box is so dear to me not only because of the hopefulness it brings but also because it reveals that he pays great attention to detail and his craft, meaning he’d be a good tailor (creativity AND meticulousness? he’s a whole package). Despite his parents’ disapproval, he’d go on to receive a scholarship from a prestigious design school in New York - where he would move to to receive a higher education and really flourish.
Nacho, who still lives with his father in ABQ and has a hard time making ends meet, would be really close to going down that drug dealer path. Manuel would talk him out of it like “you’re destined for something great and legal mijo” and he’d actually listen. But he’d insist on moving somewhere else to get away from all the affiliations he had in ABQ and to find a better career opportunity/ himself.
Time skip. They’d meet in NYC in somewhat the same way all the supermodels got discovered. And that’s as far as I could get tbh.
(True story, my socials were bombarded with images and videos from the DSQUARED2 SS 2024 collection at the time, and my immediate thought I was “Yep, Jesse Pinkman would endorse this. And who (else besides Tyler Durden) would have enough cuntential to rock this unapologetically? Nacho Varga obviously.)
#i love that fvcking collection/brand. There’s so much going on#i made art for this idea like once and never came back to it. I really need to revisit it#Jesse’s brand would be all about energy and fun and punk-centered. and to him everything about Nacho just screams that#Jesse would be like ‘so what if he’s a little short for our standard? he’s with me now bitch’#I KNOW he’d love playing around with gender representation and queerness through fashion. Inclusivity would also be very important to him#Jesse he has a vision ok. he’s ahead of his time#my god he would be so gay. THEY would be so gay. as both in happy and homosexual.#sipping cocktails in 5 star hotel bars and running away from paparazzi hand in hand#they would make everyone jealous#i dont suffer from insanity. I thrive off of it#nachojesse#nacho varga#jesse pinkman#better call saul#breaking bad#designer/model au
