Rained off again. And have learnt my lesson from last inclement weather day. But now I am bored. I cannot go out because of dry slick tyres. Thinking I might get the courtesy bus down the pub to meet the lads…..

Exactly what I was about to add! More specifically, DO NOT USE YOUR BRIGHTS!! In fog, rain, snow, anything!! If it's not completely clear out, just use your regular brightness headlights, or fog lights if you have them.

When you use your brights, water (in any form) reflects all the light back at you and actually makes it harder to see anything! Note how it's significantly easier to see (especially far away) in the upper path portion rather than the area brightly lit by LEDs,in which you can only really see the snow.

As someone who lives in the Midwest, this is one of my biggest pet peeves. There's nothing worse than trying to drive through a snowstorm and someone going in the opposite direction has their LED headlights on full blast, both blinding you and the person using the bright ass LEDs as well as anyone else on the road.
