She was so angry last night
Crashing and banging
Up and down the street.
Pounding at my windows
Shaking the walls
Screaming for my affection.
But,
Darling,
I've told you before
That I can't just come running.
Much as I'd like to,
There are times I must resist.
Trust me love,
It'll make that moment
All the more sweet.

Rained off again. And have learnt my lesson from last inclement weather day. But now I am bored. I cannot go out because of dry slick tyres. Thinking I might get the courtesy bus down the pub to meet the lads…..

I made a decision on behalf of Future Gregory™ that I’m sure will be approved.
I had planned to brave the crowds at the grocery store later today, after a drive-by at the office; however, Meowgustine woke me up earlier than I planned. I checked the hours and it turns out that 6 AM is open for the Big Box grocery place (cf. the glorified bodega down the corner). So I forced myself into functionality to avoid the crowds.
It worked. I have no doubt that there were more people at the store than usual at 6 AM, but I moved about easily amongst what I also have no doubt was only a shadow of what will come later today.
I got lots of snacks. Less in the way of full meals, as we will probably “graze” except for dinner on Christmas Day proper, for which Daletra Jones is set to attend, and to provide a Christmas salmon.

Inclement weather season is starting back up again. Just so everyone in Texas has this.

If you have an outage and need to see if it's more than you, and when it may be fixed.
Stay safe y'all.

The Path
By Jeffrey Campbell Brian Carraway stared at the gas pump’s display as the numbers surged higher. He patted his left front pants pocket to make sure his checkbook was still there. He’d hoped he wasn’t going to need to travel anytime soon, but things had changed. He looked up at the sky. It was still mostly clear, with the blue heavens still showing themselves above, but they were beginning to…
