A drizzle on this rain kissed skin
Marks the dawn of a coming grin
Dark skies and howling breeze
Mother nature such a delicious tease

I listen to the Euphoria soundtrack and watch the rain. It makes me think of you because every time it would rain, I'd tug on your arm and tell you to kiss me in it. Not a single one of those kisses was uneventful. I loved them all, I hope you loved them the same.
But now that you're gone, I have no one to kiss. I cross parking lots and driveways without you by my side, assaulted by tiny raindrops as the sky continues to cry for me. I drive my car as Labrinth sings about a pill he didn't take. I cruise through green lots, speed through yellow ones, and obey the red ones. I study my reflection in the glass window. Is my face symmetrical? Will anyone like my nose as much as you did?
Green Light.
An obvious republican driving a truck with obnoxious lights and an offensive flag flies by. I take my time, cracking the window as the cold March air flows through my car. I breathe in the rain and I pretend it's you.
I let the headlights from other cars blur in my vision, my own headlights funneling a path I've taken countless times before, but never with you. Even shit you have no connection to makes me wish you were here.
Raindrops implode across my windshield and it makes me think of the time my battery died and we stood out in the rain with the hood of my car open as we peered at the guts of the vehicle. Neither of us knew what we were doing, not really.
The sky will continue to cry for me, so do it a favor and come back. The sky is tired, and so am I.
