these two are probably the most physically affectionate out of the three. so, so, so much hugging, kissing, hand holding, all that stuff

but also mainly in the sense that whenever theyre around each other, theyre always touching. (in a sfw way, dont be weird or i’ll punt you into the sun) fingers wrapped around each others’, knees touching under the table, leaning on each other, and so many lingering touches

k so sasharcy’s “thing” is stargazing, and sashanne’s “thing” is wandering around the neighborhood at night, so marcanne’s thing would be just. cuddling in bed and having those 3am late night talks. like. hours spent wrapped in each others arms, whisper-rambling about the latest wikipedia rabbit hole or the latest episodes their current tv show or how their day went. just those kinds of quiet late night discussions

they send each other so many memes and random pictures. theyve got tons of the most random inside jokes building up over the years

theyre both still actively working on being more open about what theyre feeling, what they want, and what theyre upset about. they both still struggle with it but theyre a lot better at seeing each other as equals and trusting each other with their emotions. they also have a much better read on each other now that theyve spent so much time together and as partners, so theyre better at holding each other accountable for opening up (when necessary)

ok so since tma is over i can finally say everything abt all seasons so here are my opinions abt the tma seasons ig

basically i love angst

best statememts: season 1

s1 has the scariest statements, especially since the first time u listen to it u dont have any info on wtf is going on yet. once the Lore comes in everything starts to make sense and i love that but it Does make it less scary for me

and i mean. the anatomy class?? jane prentiss' statememt?? lost johns' cave??? those are some A+ statements

could also be in part bc in later seasons i paid attention to the meta story wayyy more (since theres just more of it) and the statements just kind of became a background thing for me later on

some statements in s5 are also REALLY good though, especially the spiral doctor david, the plague village, the meat garden and the one with gertrude and gerry

best meta story: season 3

this is sooo hard

i love all of their meta stories too much to decide completely

i just love how in s3 you start to piece things together and jon is getting superpowers and hhhh its just so fucking good

theres just. some real connections between the statements and jon meets avatars and elias' bullshit gets a Little bit revealed and then u get gerry's info and you THINK you have it all together but you really DONT

best character interaction: season 3/5

this is a full tie i canNot choose that

both of them have rly nice interactions with The Team but ALSO v nice interactions with avatars, which the rest of the seasons dont have that much

for the Team, they never Really do full teamwork ever but i think in s3 they got the closest to it, especially after the elias confrontation with everyone. especially the parts with tim and jon but also everything about melanie's & daisy's interactions with jon is just. chefs kiss.

and in s5 obviously jon & martin interact with everyone on The Team thats still alive (which it Should since its the last season tbh) and its just so nice that after s4 they were all talking and being rational abt things. love that.

and with the avatars, s3 is i think the first to introduce them as more than Those Weird Evil/Monster people since jon is becoming literally one of them. and theres sooo many cool interactions, i mean jude, mike crew, nikola, michael, daisy again, etc etc its just so fucking cool

and again same goes for s5, they interact with avatars and talk to them like theyre extremely fucked up people but still people and its soo cool. in the earlier parts of the season its also cool to see jon literally distance himself from the avatars again by killing them (only to fail by becoming to pupil oof).

i think with that i might rank s3 a bit higher than s5 actually, just because i loooove the angst of jon talking to these people he thought were monsters before thinking hes becoming like them. im SO here for the angst lmao

best jonmartin: season four

yess s5 had the most Actual canon jonmartin and it has them working through problems together and being in love but like. im always a slut for mutual pining and angst

i literally stop reading fanfics once the characters get together sometimes lmao

one of my ABSOLUTE favourite tropes in any media whatsoever is betrayal. any kind of it (except cheating that just sucks). i love it when characters go evil. i love it when they do sth fucked up they shouldnt have. and i ESPECIALLY love the way other characters react to it

i mean theres a reason why hannibal is one of my favourite shows (& why 6x20 is my favourite spn episode but shh)

and s4 has soooo much of that.

i dont rly get the story of s4 tbh its mostly just dealing w the end of s3 for me and thats not doing much for me tbh idk

and i feel so bad for jon because he was literally manipulated into everything but FUCK all those scenes where he has to confront What hes become, and especially the episode with the statement from the woman he met irl and took a statement from.

it hurts but its SO good

another tie 😔 cant decide between worldbuilding lore and monster lore

s3 definitely has the most worldbuilding lore with all the avatars and rituals and all that. i mean gerry literally gives so much lore in his episode i cant ignore that

its just so nice after so many episodes to FINALLY get some actual information

but also s5 has lore on the actual fears behind the stuff that got explained in s3 so thats ALSO a thing.

season 3. best meta story, best lore & best character interaction. just. yea this one is my favourite

season 4. best angst & best jonmartin. i can barely remember the meta story for that season, i dont think there was rly one outside of dealing w the end of s3? but the angst & jonmartin easily make up for that

season 5. best lore & characters + one of best statement seasons. i didnt add that category but also immaculate vibes. its lowkey tied with s4 too but Monster!Jon is just too good not to rank it in 2nd place

season 1. best statements and also immaculate vibes. this is 100% the scariest season and i rly like that abt it. it doesnt have much of a story yet which makes sense (no lighter for automatic tapes yet 😔) and theres less characters which means i cant put it much higher but when it Does happen its Great

season 2. its definitely good and the supplementals are hilarious but its not on the same level for me as the other seasons. maybe thats just me but i also feel like s2 should have introed jon becoming an avatar more since i already got spoiled but jon asking leitner if hes "one of them" still lowkey came out of the blue for me. plus his character changed so much to the beginning of s3 i was legit shocked to find out in ep 81 that jon was younger than 50 lmao. it IS still a v good season though!!!

Ive never read the book, how do Wesley and buttercup fall in love in there?

its So silly the count (6 fingered man) and his wife had visited buttercups family farm to ask abt their cows milk (which was a coverup for the count looking for a bride for humperdink) and so buttercups dad has westley feed the cows to show thats literally All they do and its nothing special

and the countess will Not stop staring and smiling at westley while he works

and it drives buttercup Nuts n she cannot figure out why it bothers her so badly n she spends hours wide awake fuming and ranting and then realizes its Jealousy n she loves westley

so she ends up going to the like. shed thing. he sleeps in and confesses her love and its this long dramatic paragraph (part of it is my pinned post fjshhd) and its like 3am at this point and he Closes The Door In Her Face without a word

and so buttercup is Heartbroken and feels very silly and she runs to her room and cries and cries and then starts telling herself well westley must only have ever said "as you wish" bc he cant say anything else and all hes got going for him is that hes very pretty

and at dawn she hears a knock on her door. and she like plays coy n says her confession was just a joke n she hopes he doesnt think she was serious and he says

"im leaving"

and she Completely drops the act and ends up like. asking him if its bc of what she said ("i could kill my tongue") n he explains no hes going across the sea to seek his fortune n she starts saying stuff abt the countess n shell never love him

n he cuts her off and begs her to Stop talking abt the countess. hes going to find his fortune and build a home and when he can he wants to send for her so she can join him. and he confesses he loves her and its Also fun and sorta silly dialogue ("shall i continue?" "never stop"), and he says hes spent years and years training his mind and body in hopes that someday shell look his way and that every time he said "as you wish" he was really saying "i love you" but she never heard

and then as hes leaving theres a pause. and they Shake Fucking Hands. n he says goodbye. and he turns. and as he does buttercup cries "without one kiss?" and they fall into each others arms

ABSOLUTELY psychological horror!!! sure, jumpscarey movies do provide amounts of scares every now and then but psychological horror is more scary to me and like whereas jumpscare movies make your heart beat fast for short amounts of time, for me personally psychological horror makes my heart beat fast for the ENTIRE time which i love!! it gives me the exact same fear that i feel when im up at 3am and im staring down the dark hallway that goes to the front door which rests in my chest and on the back of my neck

lovecraftian/cosmic horror is also my second favourite! tbh i dont really get scared by weather?? i mean i get a bit of eerie feelings when i go to take my dogs out for a toilet trip and it’s really dark and foggy with the lights lighting the fog and also when i go down the street during the day and it’s all grey and foggy and probs cant see more than 25 feet and it’s also cold (think the first silent hill game) but i dont think there’s a type of weather that really scares me too much. no but oops after not speaking for over ? a year on this blog i’m writing here at 3am so u know this bastard is not ok. but like, To Be Real for a moment i’m actually doing pretty well given the current state of the world. its just that moral orel fucks with me on every conceivable level and i’m making some Realizations

its abt that fanart i reblogged a moment ago, of clay as the world and daniel standing unmoved by his display. in the scene the caption is referencing clays pretending to speak to orel but he’s confessing to daniel bc he’s the last person clay has who has basically loved him thru everything, but daniel sees how clay gives absolutely zero shits abt orel and is rightfully disgusted w him and turns him down

the longer clay drones on his i love yous and i need yous it gets hard to watch bc clay is so desperate for an escape from his marriage, his family, his life, that daniel probably figures out clay doesnt love him at all

that scene stuck with me bc even though we project our real abusive fathers onto fictional abusive fathers i really like. Felt something. with that scene. on a personal level. idk maybe it was the desperation in clays voice with how he wanted daniel to know just how much he “loved” him and that once he said it he couldnt stop, just a chorus of i love you i love you i love you i love you, but its so empty and meaningless bc clay can’t love anyone anymore. maybe he never could

and there was something in that where an abused and confused young little humanafterall could relate to it. (also see: clay was a victim of abuse and lashed out to get a reaction/hit by his father or whichever authority figure he deemed an acceptable substitute) very compelling for a teenager who felt, at best, mildly tolerated before and during their parents divorce. and who, at the time, was still horrendously victim blaming themselves for ending a relationship that was veering dangerously into abusive territory. the line was blurred. like, i still can’t say they abused me bc i still feel guilty! but why!

but anyway basically i felt really empty and hollow and like i couldn’t love anyone bc i didn’t “know how” since my previous relationship tanked and i felt guilty for being unable to keep up with their demands to keep me away from everyone who cared about me. but when that was also my only “real” connection to another person who said they loved me and said they wanted me to be happy, when clay said i miss you i thought, oh, i do miss you.

and seeing that fanart NOW, in 2021, after i had another run in with this person in the same year i watched the show, after i was tricked into believing that love was something we shared, after i was lied to and felt all the more isolated when i had to move blogs in case they found me again Which, by the fucking way, didn’t even work because they sent me a message on facebook when i was in my sociology lecture in university and i had to keep it together for 40 minutes until i could crawl under my bed covers and tell myself over and over that i did the right thing by saying no and blocking them.

i could’ve gotten hurt so badly, and my uni years weren’t the brightest to begin with so i can’t even imagine where i would be if i had given that person one more chance. i can’t imagine it because now instead of clays confession being my own its theirs. his slimy tears and his sharp teeth and his gripping claws are theirs and those empty i miss yous and i need yous and i love yous are haunting me, right now. i cant sleep. i feel sick.

becuase not only did i do this to myself, i didn’t have to follow that rabbit to this particular train of thought, but now i have to live with the fact that clay now reminds me both of my father and my ex freud stans do NOT interact

i think i’m improving tho bc at this point in my life i feel nothing for them. except for moments like now when the anxiety and the lack of sleep and the reminder that my family was and is not perfect and that i have yet to experience what a healthy relationship feels like gets to me.

so something (refer to the song he said suits myday) happened with jae recently and ive seen fans trying to defend him by @ing him and saying that they love him which is fine - great even! but what i dont approve is how everyone’s basically forgotten about the whole matter because they had concerts so instead of @-ing him and asking him to explain himself, they tell him what a great concert it was which is also great bc their concerts are honestly amazing. basically my pet peeve is when ppl dismiss the problematic action of some people just bc they like them.

another thing is that there were some fans who started guilting others for wanting to drop day6 completely because of what jae did and in my opinion i think it is totally cool to want to drop a group if they did smth bad like??? its ur life???? u can choose who you want to like. what is not cool is pulling out all the good things the person has ever done in their entire life and try to remind others about the positive sides of the person. yes. they’re an encouraging person, etc. but that does not cancel out the bad things they’ve done until they explain/apologise. what is infuriating is just the manner some people took it?? they literally went ahead and tweeted shit like “would your parents drop you if you did smth wrong?” and “you’re seriously gonna drop someone whos been nothing been nice because of one incident?” yes. people will and you dont have any fucking right to stop them? so dont go pulling out receipts.

I am a 19 year old male university student in Ontario Canada. I live at home in the summer and only one hour from home during the school year for my studies. I would like to purchase my own car for everyday driving. However, I know that I would not be able to afford the ridiculous insurance there is for a male driver that is under 25 and listed as the primary driver. I have heard of ways to get around this, such as getting listed as a secondary driver and having my dad as the primary driver and just me as a temporary driver. Doing this is kind of lying, as I would be having the car all the time in the school year and then bring it home with me when I work at home. I don't think it would matter though, I doubt it is risky that if I did need a claim they would investigate how much I had the car... But what my dad seems to think is that he can only have a certain amount of cars listed as him as primary. My mom and dad live together and together own a 1994 Intrepid, 2003 Cadillac CTS and a 1988 Corvette (that is insured for only 5 months a year, stored in the winter). I am only insured as a temporary driver on the Intrepid as it is too expensive for anything else. I also have a 21 year old sister who is in the same situation (lives at home for 4 months a year) but she has just bought her own car and is her own primary driver. So I don't think that should affect me at all, it is cheap enough for a female to get primary insurance at this age. So now I want to buy a sports car. I am 100% sure I want to buy a car that is not common, its just something I am stubborn about and so I know that insurance will be more this way. Specifically I was looking at an Audi tt, BMW 300 series, Mitsubishi Eclipse or a Mustang... I also found a great deal on a '99 Porsche Boxster that a seller has that is way underpriced and I'd love to buy it (first choice).
