THE INSTINCTUAL URGE to shove Marque away was quickly suppressed despite Hyde’s DISGUST at the physical contact. He’d warned him. He’d fucking WARNED him. He should’ve suspected Marque wouldn’t take him seriously.

Instead of pushing him away, Hyde simply reached into his back pocket, pulling out a knife. And just as quickly, he RETURNED THE EMBRACE, making his grip as tight as possible to keep Marque in place in his arms. He wanted a hug? Fine.

“Stay RIGHT there.” His voice dropped with malevolence, a small smirk coming across his face. And yet, the dagger in his hand, SHARP BLADE GLEAMING, never plunged into flesh. Instead, with his free hand, Hyde grabbed Marque’s hair, giving it a FIRM TUG so his head was tilted backwards. The other hand pressed the blade up against the side of his neck, cold and calculating, but never quite cutting into the skin.

He could’ve killed him right then and there without a warning or a chance for him to get away. Why he didn’t, he had NO IDEA.

I like to think that now and again, Shanks will get phantom pain and itches. It's what included when you lost an arm. However, to remedy it is to drink. It happened to be a lot worse when it was still a fresh wound. But now it happens to be a monthly thing. An ache, sometimes a reminder, sometimes wondering what Luffy is doing and how he's faring. And sometimes with that drink, he silently raises his drink to Luffy and his crew.

Look, we all know that vampires are physically powerful. We know that Lestat is strong, and we reasonably know that Armand is strong - but all the vampires seem to still see him as being *mentally* strong and then comment on how delicate he looks.

What I'm getting at is consider Armand physically grabbing Lestat by his hair and yanking him down with unexpected force and Lestat remembering "oh right, he's strong" followed by "oh *fuck* I'm hard"

Like, we already know how fast Armand whipped that boy into shape the second he finally dropped the simpering sub act and let Lestat have it in BC the way he should've years ago. This right here is the treatment Lestat responds to. Can't put pressure on Lestat to take the reins, you have to rein him in first. Armand needs to take advantage of the fact that Lestat finds him beautiful, compelling, and actually pretty fucking intimidating.

I'm adding this to list of stuff I gotta commission from you, only I want Lestat to end up on his knees (á la BC) licking Armand's knee-high lace-up leather boots, and getting off on doing it. 😌
