You deadlift? What's your PB?
My current max is 250 pounds! Gotta catch up to Tony, he's at 300 now 😤
Also someone else asked about how deadlifting doesn't kill my back, and the answer is that weightlifting with proper form is good for back pain >:]
Strengthening your stabilizer muscles is so good for your bones and posture! It doesn't mean accidents don't happen, as we will all decay in time, but it definitely helps me draw all day and night without crumbling into dust 👌

Why did Dazai put his hand on Chuuya's forearm?

because when someone's choking you, you grab their WRIST, to put the pressure from your throat, not their forearm. (wise words from this video. i actually did research for that. what's more is that at first Dazai did put his hand on Chuuya's wrist but changed it a panel later. he could've put it lower on the glove but he didn't do that and instead had it on his forearm until Chuuya punched him. also idc if he's not really choking Dazai bc even so for sb who hates pain this cannot be comfortable. also Chuuya why are you doing that if you don't wanna actually hurt him huh?).
and the way Dazai's touch can't even be called a grab bc it's so light... this man really just wanted to touch Chuuya's skin - otherwise he'd have gone for his wrist (which is gloved)...

and an additional thing that's probably me overanalyzing but oh well:
i know that in the 2nd pic, after their fight with Lovecraft, the touch was needed, but it's interesting how Dazai touches Chuuya at the very same place that he did in the PM's basements. let's say that's where he would touch him while nullifiying corruption most times. soo imagine that the Dazai from the PM prison scene touched Chuuya there - so lightly, as if checking if he can still do it - as a way of asking Chuuya if he still trusted him with corruption and their partnership. that touch holds memories of so many of the double black's battles and, most importantly, of the trust that used to be - and maybe still is, that's what Dazai's checking (and what will be confirmed during the fight with Lovecraft) - between them.

Murata "Leaks" Discussion (it's literally just me complaining bc i'm pissed)

i stg this influx of murata designs have made me so mad. like, nothing against the fan artists, but EVERYTHING against hoyo if this is actually along the lines of the design they plan to greenlight. we've already had enough european influence with mondstadt being a blend of the whole western side of the country, so why decide to focus on Spain??? the matador idea is cool, but not for the goddess of war, goddess of the land of dragons, the goddess of the muratans; this design just simply does not speak any of that at all.
additionally, all five of the archons we have thus far have a mostly monochromatic palette. there's the main color - which is the color closest to the emblems for the element they represent - the accent gold that all characters have, and neutrals. the two outliers in this color pattern are venti and ei, who both have colors outside of their respective color palettes that accent the look and bring it together. venti's corset, shoes and lyre are brown, while ei's obi and ribbons are red. murata's leaked design feels busy, even still when illustrated by other artists. the oranges, reds, gold and purple all feel like they're fighting with each other, and, at least to me, feel cluttered. those who receive their visions don't follow a particular dress code, but as archons it just makes sense design-wise that they would be the embodiment of their element.
ok also. the red hair thing. why do none of these "leaks" depict murata with her signature red hair?? if i'm not mistaken, vanessa and her descendants got their red hair FROM murata. i could totally be misremembering this fact, and i also know that a lot of the manga lore has been getting retconned or reworked so it's likely not the best source of info, but stilllll!!!
i'm gonna have to design my own murata. maybe one based off of these very dubious leaks, and one based off of what i want her to look like. we'll see!!!

Carpel Tunnel Syndrome & Exercises
Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a condition where a nerve (median nerve) in the wrist/hand becomes squeezed/compressed. CTS can be caused by repetitive movements and inflammation. As a result, numbness/tingling/weakness, and pain may occur in the hand and forearm. If pressure on the median nerve continues, however, it can lead to nerve damage and worsening symptoms.
Initially, symptoms can come and go. If it worsens, symptoms may occur more frequently and/or last longer.
Early on, symptoms may be eased by working to reduce the daily stress on the hands/wrists, and by doing stretches and simple exercises. Home care includes wearing a wrist splint, icing the wrist, and avoiding activities that may be causing the issue:
Minimize repetitive hand movements.
Alternate activities reducing strain on hands and wrists.
Keep wrists straight or in neutral position.
Avoid holding an object the same way for too long.
Keep forearms level with work surface while using the computer.
Wear a splint while sleeping to keep wrist straight.
Foods may work to accelerate healing and recovery. Anti-oxidant-rich foods like red bell peppers, carrots and leafy greens have essential nutrients that help alleviate pain from CTS. Spinach, rich in vitamin B6, is an analgesic that may also help relieve pain. Salmon, walnuts, pineapple and turmeric are also good choices.
If the CTS worsens over time and symptoms interfere with day to day activities and sleep, see your health care provider. Permanent nerve and muscle damage can occur without treatment. Also, symptoms of CTS can be similar to other medical conditions. To ensure that the symptoms are not manifestations of a different problem see a health care provider for diagnosis.
Exercises may help mild to moderate symptoms when combined with other treatments. CTS exercises work to strengthen the wrist, hands, arms and shoulders.
These exercises may not be easy at first, but they shouldn’t be painful. If they hurt, back off or stop completely and let your health care provider know. If you’re unsure about whether to do these exercises, ask your doctor. A hand therapist may also help.
Wrist Flexor Exercises:

Hold for 10 to 20 seconds.
Repeat on other hand.

Slowly lower wrists to table. Keep palms together throughout the stretch.
Hold for 10 to 20 seconds.

Dynamic Mobility – Median Nerve Exercises:

Keep shoulders down.
Repeat.

Depress shoulder.
Repeat on other side. 
Finger Flexion Exercise:

To bend fingers of right hand, start with knuckles furthest from palm, slowly make a fist.
Hold 10 seconds.
Relax.
Straighten fingers as far as possible.
Repeat on other hand.
