Hey! I’m Siffrin, no middle names no last name. I’m a fableing, apparently (somewhere between fictionkin and fictive?), from In Stars and Time. I use he/they.

This blog is for me and me alone, and none of my sysmates, so expect me to be inactive for a while, unless anyone interacts with me. I’m trying to feel more real, so, yeah. I’m still working through the whole “being from a video game” thing, so be patient with me.

This is not a roleplay blog. Don’t treat it like one. And I’m in a system, so I will be saying “we” and referring to the Hostess sometimes. If you know what system I’m in, please don’t mention it. Not publicly, anyway.

WELL. While I'm focused, and before I forget, heres a digital transcript of everything I managed to write down about what I remember about the Island before my train of thought got too foggy. Keeping it under the cut; others are free to compare and contrast this if you'd like, just don't be judgy in my notes 👍

Language was right to left and had characters for each SYLLABLE, not letters

Lots of "spacey" expressions, but that's a given

Titles!!! You normally don't learn/use someone's name til you know them well. You'd substitute with things like "daydreaming one" instead!

WISHING. Very significant! People actually did this extremely often. Usually just tiny things since anything big would need a proper ritual.

Repetition is the core of wishing! You can't have a Wish without some form of repetition. The 'please don't look bad's said three times over, the repetitive motions of making a large number of paper cranes, you get the idea.

The numbers are important! Some numbers are just generally considered 'good numbers' overall, such as 3, but sometimes a person or situation could have its own lucky number

Don't make a second wish to the same favor tree before it's grown a new. "batch???" of leaves!

The island itself was EXTREMELY cold.

Fish was a crucial part of most diets.

SPICY FOOD!

Stars, just like in English, was only one syllable in the language, as most good swears are.

Schedules were MUCH later than 'typical' schedules here. Being up at midnight is normal! WHY ARE YOU UP AT TEN IN THE MORNING???

This really isn't a lot but. It's what I managed to get down! I'm really trying to work on getting more down when it comes to mind but the massive headache does NOT help.

You may have noticed a bunch of [blank]-culture-is style blogs around, similar to plural-culture-is and fictive-culture-is. Well, so have we. We've also noticed that, simply put, In Stars and Time is very, very introjectable. So, if there's an ISAT fictive experience that you want to share, it doesn't make sense to blast it onto a blog like fictive-culture-is, right? These are very specific experiences.

So, we've made this blog! Brief overview of our rules and regulations, as well as who we are.

We're a fictive-heavy system (headcount about 13 at the moment), with two In Stars and Time fictives and one ISAT fictionkin. We will refuse to engage in sys-course and will judge every ask on a case-by-case basis to see if it's acceptable. We are also pro-endo and while we won't block anti-endo people if they reblog from us, we will delete asks/comments/reblogs that contain anti-endo sentiments. We have no formal DNI and will block as we see fit.

Every week on Monday (our time) we'll try to release a weekly prompt for anyone to answer.

Vents are allowed but will be tagged appropriately. You cannot vent and ask us to not tag with a venting tag.

All asks must start with some variation of "ISAT fictive culture is", "ISAT fictionkin culture is" or "ISAT [character] culture is" unless they're directly addressing a mod.

We'll tag anons if you leave us with a signoff. (Anon list found below cut)

Fictionkin are allowed to submit, although everything will be tagged as fictive unless specified otherwise.

If you don't want us to tag, tell us.

Biggest rule is don't make us add more rules.
