I know others got it worse probs, but it's so obnoxious that I can't find a place to live around here for less than half my monthly income. the whole It's suppose to be a third is such a damn lie.
I know some people cut back and live off instant ramen and stuff but I don't want to have to do that. this nation is a joke. and humans inventing currency was a shit ass idea

A side effect of all of my driving to the vet with Skeeter is that my back is very unhappy. It comes and goes but I could hardly walk around yesterday. Today is better but it still hurts.
Still waiting for my weekend where nothing weird happens, my body feels reasonable, and I’m not super stressed about something.

Aro book review: The Hummingbird Killer by Finn Longman
Loved this! A very strong sequel to The Butterfly Assassin, and this time I was prepared for how full on it was.
In this follow-up, assassin Isabel tries to create some kind of 'normal' life for herself, finding a job and a civilian flatmate, while also getting mixed up with a group of rebels.
While in the first book she was only word of god aroace with some vague hints, here is it is spelled out clearly and discussed (although the words aro and ace aren't actually used). There is also another aroace character and an alloaro character, who both describe their experiences as well. There's also just not really any romance at all.
Strongly recommend!

Merry Christmas and thank you to everyone who participated in the 12 Days of Diarmute! And to the people who posted on ao3 but not on tumblr, I still saw and read your prompt fills and I appreciate it! I’m always happy when people still participate in these events… I’m so grateful people are sticking around and still interested in this niche indie movie with me. 🥲 I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and next up is Diarmute Week 2024, coming to you in March! 👀
