Not a yet fully complete thought/theory BUT who do you think could be the person that called Vein?

Because as we saw, Liu Xiao was at the cinema with Xia Fei and if he made that call, Xia Fei would notice and he would probably be able to connect the dots. So was it really him or someone else?

Vein went to Wang Qing after that call on someone's instruction

"Give me you know what and I will leave you alone." That's what he said and that's what he was going to do, his munition was sleeping darts so he clearly wasn't there to kill anyone. His orders were precise.

And soon enough we found out what he was looking for.

Now, Cheng Xiaoshi's mom is trying to save her husband and his father but where exactly is he? Because there is absolutely no way he died in that fire. It just doesn't seem right. Not with the way everyone reacted when his name is mentioned.

We obviously don't know his entire role in the story but we know he's someone who's a very important character.

So could it be possible that maybe he's the mastermind and that we're in for a bigger plot twist that we expected?

This entire time it's been hinted that Liu Xiao is that mastemind and tbh looking at it all, it feels like he probably is but with so many plot twists happening in this series, what if there's a completely bigger picture behind it all? something that we really didn't expect?

Later, when Xia Fei is with Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang he warns them to take care because the person they're looking for is probably hiding bigger secrets.

And it again shows Liu Xiao but he's standing in front of someone's door. Who lives there? Well the person they were looking for was Cheng Weimin and Xia Fei knows that. So the timing for this scene right as he's saying all this...?

in absence of a reunion noel interview i'm going back to revisit the great gallagher thaw of late 2014/early 2015 to try to make some sense outta these strange reunion times we are in now.

i've been really curious about this time period for awhile and stockpiling posts with the intention of assembling them in some kind of chronological order. still not quite sure what i'm looking at but it's a bit like find the edge pieces of a puzzle and snapping them together for a frame. you can get a vague idea while understanding much of the pieces are missing to complete the picture. most notably noel is giving interviews at this time while liam is mostly out of the public eye entirely.

assembled them in the queue and looking at them in order now and getting a bit choked up by what we have. even factoring in the normal album press cycle, noel's interviews have noticeable outlier moments during this time. charting his uncharacteristically relaxed calm fondness to emotionally raw moments when mentioning liam, it does look like any attempt at a truce all goes south within a months time (mid february to mid march 2015). coincidence it’s when dead in the water is written and the chasing yesterday is released? of course it’s not lost on me it also is at a period of nostalgia with the 20th anniversaries of their first two albums and part of the buzz about a reunion driven by stone roses reunion. but in the course of the entire feud it sticks out as different. and suggests noel was more invested in a reconciliation than he’d ever be willing to admit.

No you don't understand, Anne and Marcy third-wheeling Sasha during the dinner episode (and Sasha third-wheeling herself during battle of the bands) is so important to me. Anne and Marcy have come so far having left Sasha behind. They're happy and confident and strong and closer than ever, all because they were finally free. Because Sasha wasn't there to stunt their growth. Despite how much they love Sasha and how much they don't want to admit the distance helped them, it's true: Anne and Marcy were both victims of a toxic friend and they're learning to move on together. Ik it sounds like I hate Sasha because whenever I write about her I make her out to be a massive piece of shit but that's because... she kinda was! And I love her for that! I love these three, I love their story and their drama and toxicity (I was soooo happy when it was revealed Marcy wasn't as great as she initially seemed like - yes! The CONFLICT is CONFLICTING). Like yes marcanne is my obsession, I have marcanne brain worms, but I think one of the reasons marcanne works so well is because of Sasha. Their past, present and future with her have such a huge impact in Anne and Marcy's relationship with each other and with themselves. You can't separate these three and I love it, how easy it is to ship two of them without making it weird by leaving the third one behind (ironically, Sasha the Character is included by leaving Sasha the Person behind).

Marcanne to me is about two childhood friends living in a toxic situation healing together after leaving, only able to fall in love now that they are free and more comfortable with themselves and each other. They couldn't fully connect with each other before - not really. Anne didn't see the importance of listening to what Marcy had to say nor did she take it too seriously, and Marcy was simply not in contact with real people in the real world at all. None of this was Sasha's fault entirely, but she did third-wheel Marcy and she was possesive with Anne and was just a generally terrible influence on her, while reminding Marcy that, well, she didn't really matter all that much to anyone. Removing Sasha from the equation is not enough but it's a necessary step towards knowing each other better and the fact that they so easily became closer than ever just shows their eagerness to be together for real this time. Marcy's increased confidence and Anne's newfound empathy and admiration for her friend wouldn't have been possible with Sasha's domineering influence present. If they were to fall in love, it'd be because Sasha wasn't there to stop it.

I imagine that, once she finds out, she'd be furious, but mostly just devastated. Her friends only found love once she was gone. As if they think they'll be better off without her.

I’m so torn, because part of me wants Tai and Van to remain an unhealthily-bonded force to be reckoned with the entire time they’re in the wilderness. I want them to repress all the shit they’re not talking about, hide it all under physical contact and standing shoulder to shoulder against the world. I want them to pretend they’re fine, trick themselves into thinking it’s working as the weather grows warmer and the society they’ve built steadies. I want them to believe their love can outshine their toxic habits.

But the other part of me keeps thinking how DELICIOUS a messy gay breakup in the woods where they both still love and crave one another would be. Think of the yearning. Think of the sexual tension. Think of how intense it would be for them to go head to head at last, Believer vs. Skeptic, and how wild the inevitable crash would shake out. They can’t escape each other. They still need each other to survive. Van’s not gonna let Taissa sleepwalk alone and Taissa’s not gonna want to let Van go full Lottie without supervision. Think of how fucking taaaaasty that dynamic becomes when they both let themselves actually FEEL what their relationship lacks. Liv and Jasmin would fucking kill it and us and I kind of want it.

okay so i do have a lot of links regarding things that have happened mostly since oct 7th and while i do think the information itself is important, i want to actually bring up ways to to support and learn about palestine so. here are some things ive seen around!

light in gaza (free ebook) - this is an anthology of palestinian works that aims to spark discussion through the reflections of palestinian authors on their lives. they discuss culture, power, suffering, history, family, nature, violence, and much more that i can't capture through just a short summary

e-sims for gaza - a website with a guide on how to provide an esim for palestinians! esims help people in gaza stay in touch, which is especially helpful when dealing with blackouts and poor internet.

palestine children's relief fund - a website accepting donations for humanitarian relief and medical aid in gaza

hirbawi - "the original kufiya, made by the last and only factory in palestine" and a way to both financially and visibly support the palestinian cause. semi-related, to those in college, consider looking into student groups on campus in support of palestine; it is very likely they have ways for you to visibly show support and organize

i also recommend doing at least some general reading on things like the nakba, plan dalet, palestinian citizenship under israel, the march of return, attacks on palestinians during ramadan, and basically anything you hear of that you want to hear more about. let's be curious! there are lots of videos and articles from many years before 2023! the plan dalet document itself is free to read from various sources online, if having a direct source is an easier starting point for reading.

So I know the cycle in Legend of Zelda is explained in Skyward Sword. But like not as much as I'd want. Like how long does it take for a new incarnation to be born after the previous one dies. Are there incarnations of the hero or Zelda who just never know because there's no danger? Or are they only born if Ganon/some evil is coming?

I'm wondering because how long would it take a new hero to be born if Link died in the original Calamity in BOTW. Like would the Calamity had ended sooner if Link died? Cause it would allow a hero to be born earlier? I don't know, I just think it's very interesting.
