Thank you Mr. Motherfucker for signing my most precious fuckery!
(In response to my Sister Wednesday poster) : Oh! Do you know the story behind that? I said I sure did, and that the photo is legendary.
(In response to the magazine) : Wow I haven't seen that one in a long time! /taps the cover/ You know, I still talk to that guy.
I must have cracked the biggest, dumbest grin.
I love these items, and I also knew they'd be good conversation starters (was panicking about what I should finally say to a guy that's meant so much to me). I wanted to put a smile on his face! Hand him something silly, then something to let him know that I think his whole career has been awesome. What a polite and down to earth guy.

Brotherly reunion
Part 2 | part 1:
---
Wade, with his usual swagger, led Victor toward the glow of a taco truck that never seemed to close. The smell of frying tortillas mixed with the more questionable aromas wafting off Victor, and Wade scrunched his nose with theatrical flair.
"You know," he began, glancing sideways, "I hate to break it to you, big guy, but this Logan isn’t your Logan. That one’s pushing up daisies somewhere else."
Victor’s face hardened, barely a twitch, but the hurt ran deep. "Don’t worry about me," he said flatly. "I know my Logan’s dead. Already shed my tears. This is just…unfinished business."
Wade gave him a once-over. “Right. Well, the ‘unfinished business’ of you smelling like a three-week-old raccoon hug is still pretty finished in my book, but hey, family reunion’s a family reunion.”
Victor’s only response was a grunt, but Wade swore he saw the tiniest shadow of a smirk. Maybe Creed could take a joke after all.
As they reached the truck, Wade grabbed a paper sack of burritos and tamales before continuing their walk to the apartment.
Victor, still brooding, muttered, “You might be different, but you’re still the most annoyingly loud bastard I’ve ever met.”
Wade just grinned, taking a hearty sniff of the food. "Guess some things never change, huh?"
When they entered the apartment, Wade theatrically threw off his mask, calling out to his roommate. "Althea, I come bearing gifts! And...a smelly someone."
Althea’s voice shot back, laced with disgust. “For fuck's sake, Wade, do you collect feral men like stray cats? The couch still stinks from the last one!”
Wade shrugged and strolled in, casually tossing the bag of food on the counter.
The real surprise, however, waited in the living room. Logan looked up from the couch, barely hiding the faintest hint of relief at seeing Wade.
“Back already?” he murmured, catching the quick kiss Wade pressed on his lips. But his eyes soon narrowed at the figure behind him. “And who’s your new friend?”
Wade shot Logan a coy glance. “Oh, I wouldn’t call him a friend, exactly.”
With that, Victor Creed stepped forward, the glint of recognition igniting in Logan’s eyes as his claws unsheathed instinctively.
"Victor," he growled. “You died in the war where i'm from. Sad to see there's another one.”
Victor’s response was cold and biting, his grin baring a set of gleaming, wolfish fangs. “I missed you too, brother.”
Wade quickly jumped between the two, hands raised. “Alright, alright, let’s save the sibling death threats for after dinner, yeah?” He flashed an exaggerated grin, his voice light but his gaze sharp. “Long story short: time anomaly, TVA, and yours truly tasked with figuring it out before they, y’know, prune him out of existence.”
Logan shot Wade a hard look. “Fine. But tell the TVA to hurry pruning him. I don't want him here!”
Wade gave a helpless shrug, eyes twinkling. “How about we eat first? It’s not every day you get to share a burrito with your not-so-dead, mostly civil, dimension-jumping brother.”
Reluctantly, Logan sat, his glare still fixed on Victor, who had settled into the chair opposite him. As they ate, Victor’s piercing gaze drifted to Wade and Logan, lingering on the casual intimacy between them. He watched with veiled disdain as Logan reached over to steal food from Wade’s plate, only to be met with a playful swat. It gnawed at him—this connection between them. And, finally, his patience snapped.
“So,” he sneered, looking Logan dead in the eye. “Guess you’re a faggot now?”
The room fell silent, a deadly hush stretching as Logan’s eyes flashed with feral intensity. He slammed his fist on the table, claws glinting under the light. “I’m bisexual. And if I hear that word come out of your fucking mouth again, i'll cut your goddamn head off, like i did with Sabretooth in the void.”
Al, sensing the imminent explosion, muttered a quick, “Let’s give them some space,” grabbing her plate as Wade followed, barely concealing his grin.
“C’mon, Al, I bet this is where they finally admit they care.” He led her out, but not before casting a mischievous wink over his shoulder.
Left alone, Logan and Victor stared each other down. Victor’s fangs glinted as he gave another wolfish smile. “So you’ve finally let the animal take over, huh? I can smell it on you.”
Logan leaned forward, meeting his gaze without flinching. “You were right. I stopped fighting it, and yeah—it made me stronger.”
Victor’s eyes narrowed. “Prove it. Let’s go hunt something down like when we were younger. For old time's sake. Just you, me, and the woods.”
Logan’s smirk matched his brother’s, the old instincts flaring alive. “Fine. But let’s get one thing clear: stop calling me your brother. We’re from different worlds.”
Victor scoffed, sliding into the car's passenger seat next to Logan, an unspoken agreement already binding them. “You’re still my Jimmy. Different world or not, that doesn’t change.”
As they drove, Victor’s question cut through the silence. “So, what’s been keepin’ you busy these days?”
Logan shot him a sideways glance, a faint warmth breaking through his guarded expression. “Wade and I run missions. Save people. Punish the bad guys. And, apparently, I have a daughter now. Laura. She was created in a lab with my DNA from Weapon X. She’s...from a different timeline, too. It's complicated.” He pulled a picture from his wallet, holding it out for Victor’s inspection.
Victor studied the image with a smile that softened his rough features. “So, I’ve got a niece. Uncle Victor, huh? Got a nice ring to it. You have to introduce us.” He hesitated before adding, “You know, when you were with Kayla, I met women. In bars and backalleys. Making sure they got a piece of me. Spreading my genes. Little Creeds populating the world."
Logan’s foot slammed on the brake, jerking the car to a stop. He glared at Victor, his face twisted with disgust. "You went around...impregnating women?"
His brother shrugged. "Nothing wrong with that."
Logan shook his head in horror. "You're not creating a legacy, Victor. You're only creating more victims."
Victor's laugh was cold, dark. "Doesn't matter. They're mine. Wild and free. You should have some more offspring too."
Logan gritted his teeth. "I'm not turning this world into a breeding ground for killers."
"But that's out nature. We're killers", Victor replied dismissive.
Logan’s fist shot out, connecting with Victor’s jaw with a satisfying crack. They both got out, breaking into a run as they entered the forest, instincts taking over as they dropped to all fours. Old habits resurfaced, the chase awakening memories buried under years of separation. They tracked a small group of rabbits, pouncing and feasting on their fresh catch, blood mingling with the scent of pine as they built a fire.
Sitting across from each other, the embers casting shadows on their faces, the weight of their shared history settled over them. Their clothing was torn and bloody, the bruises on their faces already healing, from where they had fought each other.
"You know", Victor said quietly, watching the flames, "i lied. I do care about my children. I hope they're okay. I should've stayed with them, guided them as they mutated. But i was a different man back then. After we fought Weapon XI, i wanted to find you again. But Stryker's man caught up to me. They erased my memories and experimented on my body. Magneto freed me and gave me shelter. The brotherhood of mutants. It was only after our fight on the statue of liberty that i got my memories back. And the effects of the experiments slowly reversed. But i realized that you didn't remember me. So I stayed away. Wish i hadn't. I should've fought for you. Protected you. But i was a coward. And that got you killed in the end."
Logan put a hand on his shoulder. "It's okay. You got me back. Even if i'm not your Logan."
Victors gaze softened. "Will you tell the TVA to stop watching me then?"
"Yeah. You can stay here, brother."
The two gave each other a quick hug, patting each other's back before sitting down again. They ate in comfortable silence, the kind shared by men who had been through hell together. And, at least for tonight, that was enough.

I have decided to spore Leatherhead from my Mama Bear au, since he is also in the Misa rp discord server, this sporing features @catarina-hamato’s characters!
TW FOR MANY THINGS, PLEASE CHECK THE TAGS
Luke packed away another item in the special case he made for all the gifts he planned on returning home with.
Honestly, he hadn’t expected to be a part of something like this, but it was sudden anyways. They weren’t exactly consulted on it.
Camp was never really his thing as a kid, he liked staying home with Julia and his brothers more during summer. They’d bake together, have special permission to stay up a whole half hour later, and he’d even get brought to the pool more.
This was a bit different, though. He had a large part of his family here, and even some people from the wish dimension like Misa, the HOB group, and TJ’s family.
It was better than other camps in that way, but he’s still missing another huge part of the people he cares about.
The worst thing is, the headphones Tello gave him are being blocked by the crystals of the cave. He can’t talk to him or let him know they’re all okay.
Don’t ask him how headphones that can work through dimensions are taken out by cave crystals, he doesn’t know.
He of course still kept them on as much as he could, just in case contact managed to break through or he just needed them to calm down.
It helped with the homesickness, slightly. Picking out crafts that reminded him of the rest of his family did too. He’d be able to give them out and he’s sure Tello would have a blast analyzing their signatures.
There were only a few people in the shared cabin at the moment. Luke was the only one from the group, he needed some space and quiet.
Just as he was closing the case, the whole cabin started shaking violently. He sat near the frame of his bunk bed and wondered if there was earthquake happening here somehow.
The lights went out before the shaking eventually stopped. From how dark it got afterwards, he could assume all the other electricity went out too.
He stood up quickly, needing to make sure that everyone else was okay. Pressing a button on his headphones, the screens in front of him help light up the area. Once he did a sweep through the cabin for anyone injured, he rushed out of it.
His eyes land on the giant crystal that popped up right next to the cabin. An alert is suddenly in his ears and flashing across the screen, something is behind him.
Before he can even turn, vines wrap around all his appendages and over his snout. He’s dragged away somewhere with even less light, it’s dark and isolated.
The vines prevent him from clawing and biting. He’s almost muzzled. Still, he thrashes around as much as he can, especially as another vine removes his headphones. He can only catch a glimpse of something else on screen before they’re dragged away out of sight.
A mushroom is suddenly shoved in his face. It glows and stares at him with one extremely creepy eye before particles from it are launched at him and spread in the air.
He coughs and wheezes as the spores enters his lungs. Memories of everything the other multidimensional universe had done to him and the people he cares about flash across his mind. He shuts his eyes tightly, hoping with everything he has that it isn’t going to be as bad as it was.
“Crocababy? What’s wrong?”
He pauses at the familiar voice.
The headphones are gone, he shouldn’t be able to hear him.
“Open your eyes, filius. It’s okay. I’m here.”
He feels weight around his shoulders.
Slowly, he opens his eyes.
Donnie’s lab? At home? How?
“….Dad? How….how did I get here?”
“The headphones sent off a distress signal. I was able to get you away from those vines and brought you home.”
He…he did see something on the screen, but could this be true? He has to be seeing things, right? He’s being tricked.
“I was so worried about you….I couldn’t take it if anything happened to you…”
Luke returns the hug, squeezing his dad comfortingly.
“I know, I know, I’m sorry I scared you-“ His eyes widen when looks down and sees his claws absolutely drenched in blood.
“…..That’s why I couldn’t stop you. It would have hurt you.”
Luke stumbles back, screaming in horror at what he might have done. He trips over something almost immediately and lands on his back, a wet, stickiness with a metallic smell surrounding him. It makes him sick to his stomach. Even without looking, he knows what it is.
The sight above him isn’t fully better. There’s Tello above him, arm and eyes kraanged out. He’s covered in blood too.
There’s.
So.
Much.
Blood.
Too much for just a few people.
He gets lifted up and turned around by the Kraang arm to see the full massacre.
Luke’s heart nearly wants to stop at what he’s witnessing.
The Leos have wounds in them like claws went through their plastrons. Leon had more of them, and they were deeper than Leos.
Leon’s hands are still placed on some of Leo’s wounds, half healed.
Leo is still clinging to Leon. His eyes are wide and empty. One of his arms is missing.
Red is face down, curled over Raph’s body. His shell is in pieces. There’s blood pooled under his head where a dent is.
His mother, his poor, sweet mother, is off to the side and propped up against a wall. Most likely having been forced back and made unable to do anything.
Her arms are horribly broken.
The universe is cradling Usagi and Angelo in its little arms. It would probably be holding more of them if it could.
Angelo’s neck is broken.
Mikey’s neck is too.
They both had looks of betrayal left on them. Tear stained faces.
Usagi is littered in claw marks and bites. There’s a ripped up blue mask by his hand. Claw marks are nearby on the floor, he was dragged away from-
Dee.
He’s….
It’s so awful his brain is trying to distort the very image of him, but something is forcing him to focus.
There’s deep wounds clawed down the entirety of his shell.
The universe turns to him, eyes open and fiery.
“You were a mistake. You should have died with your clutch. You never deserved any of them.”
Luke can feel his consciousness slipping into that feral state he usually goes into when something of this level happens.
With every body, he has just been screaming and screaming and screaming as tears poured down his face.
It’s all he could do with how his dad was holding him.
“Crocababy, you haven’t seen the worst of it yet. He’d be so sad you were forgetting about him.” Tello says with a wide smile.
Who is he…?
NO!
NO!!
Tello turns him to see the last body.
Scotty’s body is horribly mangled like he’s a chew toy that got picked up and whipped around.
Luke screams more, his throat raw.
It’s so much worse when his body starts twitching.
He’s still alive.
“SCOTTY!! Dad! Please! Let me heal him! Let me help! Please! Please!!”
“L…u….lu…” Scotty chokes out, blood splattering on the floor more.
“Son, there’s no point in that. He’s still going to hate you for what you’ve done.” Tello rubs Luke’s cheek, causing him to flinch and try to pull away again.
“I don’t care! He can hate me as much as he wants if he’s alive! H-He needs to be alive!” Luke begs.
“And suffer like you did? Being the last one of his family? That’s so cruel, mea parva tragoedia.”
Scotty’s twitching suddenly stops as his head is smashed into the ground. Luke screams yet again, seeing SC-1 standing over him.
“If I knew it was this easy to be rid of so many issues at once, I would have made this happen myself. Your father is a suitable vessel now. Watching his son tear apart his family without being to stop him, and not having him to calm him down, that allowed a little something to win over his consciousness.”
Luke can barely get air in. His heart feels like it’s about to explode. His mind is swimming. He’s hanging on with just a frayed little string.
“Since your precious little universe is dying, you’ll have to join a new one. You and your father will have fun there, I’m sure.” SC-1 laughs.
“DAD! DAD PLEASE-!” Luke inhales sharply when he feels something ripped from him.
He looks down and sees his soul out in front of him.
“You’ll be a much better son once we’re done. Maybe now I can really have Spike back.” Tello coos.
The string snaps.
Luke roars the loudest he possibly can, claws scrambling against the kraanged arm around him. His pupils slit.
He needs this to stop.
Please.
Any way to stop it.
“Anything? You would do anything?” A voice worms its way into his head.
Yes.
Anything.
Just make it stop.
No more.
“Then join me. Serve me. All of it will stop.”
He knows, some part of him knows, that this will doom him.
He doesn’t have it in him to care
Okay.
Anything to make it stop.
Luke’s body is dropped from the vines. His eyes fill completely with a bright blue glow. He slowly stands, stumbling as he moves. The pain in his throat is numbed, as is everything else.
He walks away, not hearing his headphones as voices yell out from them.
“LEATHS! LEATHS! SON! RESPOND! PLEASE!”

Into, Across and Beyond! Scripting: Love Advice
On one routine day at Gust Planet, Milly and Errorverse Amy were having a chat whilst walking to let off some steam.
Milly: It sure is a lovely day today.
EV!Amy: Heh, absolutely!
Tumblr media
Milly: So... you're not angry with me flirting with your boyfriend earlier? I mean, I understand if that made you uncomfortable when you first saw it.
EV!Amy: Nah, don't worry. I gave up any feelings of jealousy on my end a long time ago.
Milly: You did? Ah, sorry. I haven't been here very long. Since it's my second week here, I've not been too familiar with how different iterations of people I know are like. And to think we've got over a hundred members here already since the group's initial inception.
EV!Amy: Well, I'm one of many Amy Roses that crushed on Sonic for a time, but I had since matured after meeting Nitro and shifted my feelings to him instead. Me and my Sonic are simply on a sibling bond nowadays thanks to that.
Milly: I see.
EV!Amy: So I noticed from when Nitro showed his EXE eye to you that you've got a bit of a thing for entities under that criteria, right?
She nodded in agreement.
Milly: I had a crush on the X of my dimension at one point, though our relationship was pretty rough back before I came here. I know I'm the grim reaper of my universe, but seeing people assassinated by a bloodthirsty killer isn't something I can bear to handle.
EV!Amy: Yeah, I heard from Sonic before. Thing is, not all relationships will work out the way you hope them to, and that's okay. You're just testing the waters to see what's right for you at the end of the day.
Milly: I mean, I guess so. It's just... I still want to give it another shot when I feel confident enough to return to my universe, but... I'm deep down scared that I'll mess it up again.
EV!Amy: Hey, you're not gonna mess up a chance to be with your Sonic or X. Or why not both? That can work just as wondrously!
Milly (genuinely curious): You mean I can be in a healthy relationship with BOTH of my crushes?
EV!Amy: Of course you can! You just gotta be willing to take that first step to get a proper love life going.
Milly: Heh, I never thought of it that way before. I really appreciate you being so supportive of me, even if I'm part-EXE myself.
EV!Amy: No worries, Mil! If an EXE, partial or full, means well in their motives and personality, then I see absolutely no reason to have any prejudice towards them!
Tumblr media
EV!Amy happily hugged Milly, who smiled to this affection.
Milly: Thank you so much, Amy. I really mean that.
EV!Amy: You're welcome, big sis!
Milly held EV!Amy close for a little bit before they parted their hug.
EV!Amy: So, wanna go get some food from the café?
Milly: Sure thing, Amy.
EV!Amy: And hey. When you're ready to give making your relationships work another go, me and Nitro will have your back the whole way!
Milly: That means so much to me, Ames. Thank you, truly.
EV!Amy: Anytime! That's what buddies are for!
They headed off together.

I was reading my book on a bench today. An analysis of the Gospel of Mary Magdalene. I was underlining when Jesus said, “This why you get sick and die: because you love what deceives you… Matter gave birth to a passion which has no Image because it derives from what is contrary to nature.”
As soon as I did that I heard something in the bush behind me. Then a snake slithered out towards me. I immediately freaked out, because it’s a snake. I jumped to my feet and stood on the bench and said “oh hell no.” As soon as I did that it slithered away.
I immediately started walking back to my car, and as I was walking I was beating myself up for being scared. “You should’ve stayed, it was probably trying to signify something to you. But of course you just had to give into the fear. You failed a test back there, I just know it.”
Now I’m thinking back. Firstly, I was beating myself up about it for no reason, like actually getting upset with myself for being such a coward. I thought maybe the snake was going to show me my next step and I was stupid for running from it, you know?
I think he did show me my next step, but I was so stuck on being a coward I didn’t realize in that moment.
I always say “give into your fear, you’ll learn it isn’t real.” I did give into my fear, I ran. I did exactly what I always say. But before I ran in fear, I stood above the snake. I looked at it and said, “oh hell no.” And he slithered away.
The snake deceived Eve once. Only once. I have been deceived once. Only once. It awakened the snake in my spine. Coiled three and half times at my root. Another snake was not going to deceive me. I’ve been in a vulnerable state lately, just like the time I was first deceived.
Instead of letting someone trick me again, I stand up to them. Nobody is tricking me again. And you know what’s ironic, the trickster is the one who brought this awareness upon me. The snake he was awakened me.
Convulsions in the water before me. I wrote in my journal before reading my book and meeting that snake today.
“The cover is of Mary holding an egg. The 0. Where it all begins. Feminine nature personifies this. The egg looks like a seed as well. It all begins in this egg. The 0 dimension. That first crack, that first puncture starts it all. I have been aching for this head of mine to crack. I want my Kundalini to break through my throat. I want to make it through Daath. I want the bear to put its teeth into my head. ‘When will I meet the bear?’ Now. Forever. Infinitely. 4 dots on my left palm. Tell me the code.”
Mary 3:13 “That is why I told you, ‘Become content at heart, while also remaining discontent and disobedient; indeed become contented and agreeably (only) in the presence of that other Image of nature.”
Maybe I was being disobedient to the snake that triggered my initiation. I won’t let the snake trick me again. I am moving onto the West. Out of the South. I am moving to the bear.
Out of youth. Into adulthood. Today I woke up. I’m not a baby anymore, still close to that age. But either way, I know so much. I’m so young and I know so much. Why haven’t I ever hugged myself for this before? Why do I only focus on what I don’t know?
I know so much.
Jesus gets you caught up a little in his words. It really takes some deciphering to truly know what he means. I understand him in that way.
I cannot connect everything in one statement, but just know there is deeper significance in everything I say, I only speak on what I know. And I know I love the snake.
If I did not eat the apple I would not know anything I have said. I could say it but I wouldn’t be understanding it.
The snake introduced me to the Tree of Death. The underworld. Today this new snake, helped me exit Daath. The separation. Vice into virtue.
That fear I had is no longer real. I gave into it and after time discovered its true nature. Maybe it was for a moment. But it’s not real anymore, it was just an illusion. It was just a dream of suffering I brought upon myself.
Being brave in front of that snake would be contrary to my nature. It is normal for such creatures to get your heart going. I just have to learn to face this other side of nature. I have to experience it, I have to bathe in the fear before I overcome it.
I would have been deceiving myself if I tried to act anything other than afraid in the presence of that snake.
You scare me. That’s why I ran away. Not because you’re scary per se, but because of the power you have over me.

Home Au
Remember the unnamed au with fire spirit mikey, google docs don, krang raph, and feral leo?
yeah Im fusing it w the home au. Also more explenations noone asked for.
Leo is now a prison dimension entity. He still hoes feral, tapping into those turtle instincts to do his best to survive. His feral state makes him increadibly vulnerable to the permanent side effects of the prison dimension. Slowly, his environment changes the stricture of his very being and now, we have a feral Leo who is now a desachurated prison dimension monster with black portals and the ability to create back lighning slashes. Another thing I added is that Leo can now do this thing called “fading” I took away his regeneration and gave it to Raph and replaced it with fading. He can turn into black mist and becomes incorporeal like Mikey for an amount of time to rest. If he gets too relaxed while in this state he literally disappears for a while tho. This also happens if he uses his black lightning too much. The more he uses it the longer he disappears. After being saved he stays feral fir a while before returning to normal, although he still keeps some turtle habits. He can return to feral mode when put under high stress or put in a situation where his life is in high danger.
Mikey turned into a mystic warrior to learn how to save Leo. His body turns into pure mystic energy after overuse of his mystic powers and he is now a fire spirit forever bound and tethered to his nunchucks. He has a state where he is just in his chucks, just watching the world go by. He can go out in a physical form, but hes like a ghost and noone can see nore interact with him without soecial equipmen. If he focuses, he can become visible and this is where the fire spirit comes in. He looks the same except he floats and some parts of him are just made out of fire, sometimes parts of him flicker because he is just made out of it. He burns anything he touches tho, so now he makes art by burning drawings into wood. He can also turn parts of his body or his entire body into visible fire and shapeshift as a large flame. Since he is now purely made out of mystic energy, he is a living battery.
As for Raph, my boi is just as op as Leo being a krang. He absolutely hates it tho, but has come to accept it over the years. They are at risk of another krang invasion if he goes savage which is why Mikeys chucks are always physically on him at all times. He hasnt gone savage since the invasion but if he does hes going to tear apart the earth from the surface to the core in order to find his brothers, and then keep them in a deadly bear hug until he calms down. He will listen to noone, not even his own brothers until he is calm, which can result in some unwanted injuries(casualities). He has tried ripping krang parts off of him to return to normal, but they always regenerate within seconds. His non krang parts also regenerate, but much slower like it takes hours.
Donnie has a robot version of his body, which also has drawn on eyebrows, that he uses. Its his main vessel and yeah he can technically just possess the microwave but his robo body is more flexible. And yes, he can possess all tech in the lair. For tech he didnt make, he just needs to hack into it and its all his to use. He can also hack into his brothers phones so rip.
Splinter and April havent changed and they now have to deal with this new mess.

Run With Me, My Dear
Finally! Sorry for the long wait and enjoy! :3
Summary:
The war was finally over and now Lilac can create what she had always dreamed of.
Character(s):
Gremmy Thoumeaux
Relationship(s):
Gremmy x Oc
Tags:
Oc
Fluff
Warnings:
None
It's finally over. The war had finally ended. Lilac stared at the dark clouds that have started to disperse, exposing the shining light. She smiled, feeling happy that she can finally feel that freedom. That freedom that she had longed for for so long...
She watched as the Shinigami began to look around and help their comrades. Bodies of what was once enemies were scattered as well as her own. The injured were carried and taken to safety, so that they can heal away from the collapsed or unsteady buildings of what used to be a part of the Quincy empire. She took a deep breath and let it out, a soft smile appearing.
"Lilac?"
She looked down and gasped. Gremmy had finally opened his eyes. Finally...
Tears welled up in her eyes as she saw the man of her life alive and breathing. She giggle and threw herself on Gremmy, hugging him dearly.
"Gremmy! You scared me! I thought you had died!! I thought you were gone! Why did you do that!?!" she cried out, shaking him lightly.
"Lilac..." Gremmy whispered. "I thought I had lost you..."
"You didn't! But I had almost lost you!" she cried out.
"Sorry... I didn't want to lose you... I didn't want to see you go..."
"Me neither! Please don't do that again!"
Gremmy smiled and kissed her lightly on the lips, shocking her. She blushed. feeling her cheeks burn, feeling shy.
"Lilac... Please, let's leave this place and live together... Together... Forever," Gremmy said, giving her a genuine smile.
Lilac looked at him and smiled. "I will follow you to the end of the world, in each reality and dimension. I will be there for you..."
Gremmy smiled at her and kissed her, this time she followed and deepened the kiss. Both of them sharing that warm feeling with each other, connecting like to puzzle pieces, meant for each other.
------------
7 Years Later....
"Mommy! May I have another cookie! Rein took mine away!"
"Lily was being mean to me!!"
Lilac chuckled and handed her daughter another cookie, earning a happy squeal from her. Her son pouted and glared at his sister.
"Calm down Rein, there are enough cookies to pass around alright?" Lilac assured as she gave them another cookie.
The children giggled happily and ran into the living room. She smiled happily, feeling happy that she can finally live with the person she gave her heart to.
Thank goodness we both survived that... I wonder what the others are doing... she thought as she ate one of the cookies she baked.
Making a life with Gremmy was tough at first. Having no place to live in or money. Thanks to his ability, he was able to create a world for her and their children. She sighed happily as she saw her children pestering their father. Gremmy smiled at them, as he created gifts for his children, gifts reminding her of their love and happy lives. A lilac colored stuffed bunny and a yellow bear.

Hey, I love your writing 🫶
Please can you write an Eddie angst pleaseeeee.
The idea is that reader has been in love with Eddie for years and when he dies they’re distraught. The gang helps them through all the stages of mourning. Months later they wake up feeling really good so they go to one of the gangs house where they all will be hanging out. They all are acting really off and try to make them leave and then Eddie walks. Reader thinks they’re hallucinating until Eddie starts talking to one the kids and then it dawns on them that their best friends and the person they love have been lying all this time knowing the suffering they’ve endured. An argument and a confession follows, where they try to explain they did It to protect them but reader isn’t having any of it. All they want to do is hug Eddie but they can’t even look at him. They leave on bad terms with everyone. I can’t think of an ending heheh :))
I’m so sorry that request is so long. Thank you so much hope you have a lush day :))
In the back of my mind, you died
a/n: ANON I LOOOOOVEEEEEE THIS IDEA SO MUCH!!! read part two here!
Tumblr media
Denial. That's all you've been doing is denying. Eddie didn't die, no. He's just decided to lay low until this whole "earthquake" shit and him being a murderer dies down. That's all he's doing you think to yourself, but that doesn't stop the nightmares of him dying in your arms. Every time you close your eyes you see the exact moment where the life leaves his eyes. You can't escape the horrible memory no matter what you do, you don't want to consider therapy cause how are you supposed to say that the love of your life died in the claws of bats from another dimension? Exactly, you can't.
You appreciate your friends, you do. You love them so much but you wish that they can leave you alone.
“I’m not broken, you know that right?”
Steve looks up from the magazine he's reading on your bed and smiles.
“I know that.”
“So why are you guys on babysitting duty with me?”
He sighs.
“Y/n, we're just worried. You've been ignoring the fact that Eddie-”
“Don't.” you cut him off.
“He's gone y/n. We're not rushing you to let him go, take all the time you need.” he stands up from his spot on the bed and crouches down to be eye level with you.
“But you're going to have to accept it sooner or later, and when you do we promise to all be here for you.”
Tears start to form and you throw your arms around him finally letting go of all the bottled-up emotions you have.
Anger. Pure anger is running through your veins when you see students gathered in front of Eddie's locker. Some are writing mean things, others are leaving sincere notes either way it pisses you off. Nobody in this school liked Eddie! It was always just you and hellfire who stuck up for him, so why the hell is everyone acting as if they care?!
“This is bullshit,” Gareth mumbles next to you.
You scoff. “Tell me about it. He's gone and suddenly the whole town loves him?”
“Like they weren't accusing him of murder weeks ago.”
If there was anyone you knew who was taking his death as hard as you, it was Gareth. Gareth knew Eddie his whole life, Eddie was practically his brother, and the fact that he doesn't even know what happened to him kills you.
“I fucking hate this town.” You whispered while shaking your head when the cheer team leaves a teddy bear in front of his locker.
Gareth chuckles, you take it as a sign of agreement.
“If I could I burn it to the fucking ground.”
You turn your head to look at him. His eyes are red and you're not sure if it's cause he's been crying, or because maybe rick gave him the hookup but you give him a soft smile. You've talked to Gareth before, and you consider him a friend. You glance down at the watch resting on your wrist and look back at Gareth.
“Do you wanna get out of here?”
“Hell yeah, let's go.”
You Gareth quickly exit the school and you both try to ignore the heartbreak you feel when you think of how happy Eddie would be knowing his best friends have someone to watch each other's backs.
Bargaining is something you find yourself frequently doing. You toss and turn through the night and look at your alarm clock. The bright red 1:00 taunting you. You let out a quiet tsk and decide enough is enough, quietly searching through your dresser you pick out the first pair of pants and grab the first shirt you see. You open your window making sure to leave it a crack open for you for whenever you sneak back in. You're not sure where you're going yet, your brain is not up to full speed with your body but soon you start recognizing that you're going to Eddie's trailer. Before you know it you're a good distance away from it but you stop in your tracks. Your heart is pounding and it's the first time you ask yourself what exactly are you doing here? We're planning on going to the upside down to find Eddie? Were you even looking for Eddie? Your thoughts are cut short when you see a familiar set of curls hidden under a hat exit the trailer quietly.
“Dustin?”
His body tenses and he turns around slowly to face you. He smiles at you nervously and waves as you take steps to get closer. You weren't supposed to be here, he hasn't even spoken a word to you and the guilt is already starting to eat him alive.
“Y/n! What are you uh, doing here?”
You cross your arms.
“I should ask you the same thing.”
Dustin stood frozen on the porch speechless, his eyes scanning your body trying to find any kind of clue as to why you're here. He wants to come clean and say it but he made a promise, and he was way too scared to break it. He narrows his eyes at you and something in his clicks when he sees the determined look on your face.
“Were you going back?”
“I-i think so? I don't know.”
Dustin mumbles out a Jesus Christ and stumbles over to you, dragging you away from the trailer.
“Are you insane?! What exactly were you gonna do?”
You stop walking, causing Dustin to look at you. His heart sinks when he sees tears falling down your cheeks as you stumble over your words.
“I just want him back Dustin.” you cry out.
Dustin wraps his arms around you and holds you as you cry, his brain is screaming for him to tell you. To just end all the pain you've been feeling but he made a promise. They all did.
He pulls away from you and gives you a sad smile.
“I miss him too, but y/n, you can't risk your life going back in there for something that's not even there.”
“We just left him there Dustin. His uncle never even got to see him.”
The both of you are crying now.
“And that's killing me, but there's nothing we can do.”
You look Dustin in the eyes and you have a strange feeling in your gut that he's hiding something but you're too exhausted to question him. You nod your head, wiping away the tears that fell down your face, and take a deep breath.
“Yeah. Yeah, you're right.”
“C'mon, let's go home. You can ride my bike, my leg is killing me.”
You hum knowing his leg is a bit more sensitive since the incident and agree to take him home.
“I'll walk home after I drop you off.”
“My mom thinks I'm at Lucas’.”
Silence is shared between the two of you as you slowly turn to look at Dustin.
“You mean the Lucas who's practically living at the hospital reading to Max?”
Dustin kicked a rock and mumbled out how it sounded better in his head. You shake your head and chuckle, throwing your leg around his bike and waiting till you felt his hands resting on your shoulders. While Dustin was getting on the bike you took a glance at the trailer that sat behind you two and you could be sworn you saw a figure that you knew all too well.
“You ready?” Dustin asked you. You looked at him then back at the trailer only to be met with nothing. You cleared your throat and nodded your head.
“Yeah, let's go.”
Everyone was worried about you the second Eddie was gone, but to their surprise, you were still up and moving. What they should have been worried about was the third month of his death. Depression hit you like a semi and you couldn't get out of bed to save your life. Everyone would stop by to drop off some food and water only to throw it out the next day when they saw it was untouched. They tried everything to get you out of bed but were unsuccessful every time.
It was midnight now, Nancy was sleeping on the couch in the living room as you rotted away in bed. They usually didn't spend the night but you haven't eaten in five days, to say your friends were worried about you was an understatement. You stared at the picture of you and Eddie laughing that rested on your nightstand when the familiar feeling of needing to use the restroom came back. For the first time in days, you slowly took the blanket off of you and began to sit up in bed. The room spun a little bit but now you were sitting up and looking at your bedroom door.
Go. You thought to yourself. Just go pee and then you can get back into bed. The thought of standing alone was enough to exhaust you, let alone use the restroom. You know you should get up, your bladder was starting to hurt from how long you haven't used the restroom but you couldn't move. You look down at your feet and see one of Eddie's shirts on the floor, it was his favorite, and now it's dirty. It's dirty, it's on the floor, and it was nearly forgotten about until now. The pain in your bladder was getting stronger but you didn't move, you stayed sat in bed looking at the shirt with tears streaming down your face.
Your thoughts are cut short when you feel a sudden pang of pain in your lower abdomen. You let out a gasp and quickly put pressure on it but it only makes things worse. I need to pee. Was the only thing running through your mind. You start to stand up but let out a small cry from how much it hurts.
“Y/n?” You heard Nancy call. You stayed quiet trying to steady your breathing. You take small steps toward your bedroom door, counting down how many you have left to go to the restroom when you fall to the ground. You hear Nancy start to run to you as you cry and clutch your side tightly.
“Jesus Christ, what happened?!” Nancy asks as she rushes over to you. You push her away determined to get yourself to the restroom. You know what she's thinking. You know she probably thinks you're insane at the fact that you could get a kidney infection trying to get to the restroom by yourself cause you're thinking the exact same thing. You curl into a fetal position on the floor, your breathing rapid as the pain gets worse with each passing minute. Nancy decides enough is enough and helps you up while whispering how you'll be okay. She helps you stand up and gently shushes you when you let out a whimper.
“It's okay, you're gonna be okay,” she whispers. She takes you toward the restroom and turns on the bath for you. She makes sure the water is warm before she looks at you, you have your shirt pulled over your legs as you sit on the toilet finally giving your bladder some ease.
“I uh, I'm running you a bath,” she says gently. “If you need help with anything, call me, okay?”
You nod your head and watch as she leaves the bathroom and closes the door, leaving it a little open.
You sigh and slowly get off the toilet, holding onto the wall for support as you flush it. You step into the bathtub with your shirt still on and sit in the warm water. Nancy knocks on the door and peeks her head in to check on you. You both make eye contact and you clear your throat.
“C-can you wash my hair?”
Nancy nods her head and rolls the sleeves of her pajama shirt up. She sits on the edge of the tub and gently strokes your hair as you rest your cheek on your knees.
“There's a cup in the cabinet. Eddie would bring the dog that lived next door and we’d give her a bath.
Nancy makes her way to the cabinet and grabs the small cup, filling it with water and counting down before she gently pours it onto your head. Comfortable silence is shared between you two before she drains the water and grabs a towel. She helps you stand, squeezing out as much water as she could from your shirt before you grab onto her hand.
“Thank you. F-for helping me.”
She gives you a sad smile and wraps the towel around your shoulders.
“I changed your sheets, and there are some clothes laid out for you.”
You hold onto her hand as she helps you out of the slippery tub and onto the cold tile floor. She leads you to her room, closing the door all the way so that you can change out of your wet clothes. You place the towel on the floor and toss the shirt on top of it knowing you'll take it out soon. You slip into the comfortable clothes and sit on the edge of your bed, your hands rubbing over the clean material of the new sheets Nancy changed for you.
Your eyes drift back to the picture that's on your nightstand and you swear that you can hear Eddie's voice in your head telling you to eat something. You hear three knocks on your bedroom door and you're guessing you told Nancy to come in cause now she's leaning up against your door and smiling at you.
“I know it's nearly one in the morning but are you hungry?”
You wanted to say no, you're too tired to eat anything and you just want to lay in bed and sleep until you feel better, but you don't. Instead, you slowly nod your head.
“I think there's still some pizza in the fridge from when Steve and Robin came over.”
Nancy gave you a genuine smile, happy that you finally decided to eat some food. She started to leave your room to reheat the pizza when she heard you call out for her.
“Thank you. Seriously, this whole…healing process hasn't been easy for me.” You clear your throat and send her a small smile. “So thank you, really. You've all helped me so much, I don't know what I would do without you guys."
Something in Nancy shifted, you could tell from the way her shoulders dropped and the small smile she gave you.
“Y/n?”
She wants to say it. She's seen you suffer enough and it's killing her not to tell you everything she knows. It's on the tip of her tongue, she's so close to saying it. You look at her with raised eyebrows.
“You never have to thank us. What are friends for?”
A few more months pass and little by little you start to feel okay, normal even. Is currently Friday, which is movie day at Steve's. It started as a way to get you out of the house but it's blossomed into something more now, you park the car in front of Steve's house and grab the snacks that are in the passenger seat of your car. You hum out a tune and gently kick at the door with your foot. Robin opens the door laughing but quickly stops when she sees it's you.
“Y/n! What are you doing here?”
“Haha, very funny.” you teased. “It’s movie day! Here grab the snacks so I can come in,” you say while dumping some snacks into her arms. She stumbles over words and her feet as you make your way into the house, you throw a hey to everyone and place the snacks onto Steve's counter.
“Geez, why is everyone quiet? Did you guys start the movie without me?” you chuckle out. You turn toward your friends who are sitting on the couch staring at you with wide eyes.
“Jesus, are you guys okay? It's like you've all seen a ghost or something.”
“Thanks for giving me my vest back Steve, I've been dying to see her again.”
Your body stiffens and your blood runs cold when you hear a voice that you've missed for far too long. Your eyes lock with Dustin and suddenly everything clicks. The night you found Dustin at Eddie’s trailer, the way everyone looked at you with guilty eyes, how everyone seemed like they were walking on eggshells when they were around you. They knew. They all knew.
“It's no problem man, I washed like three times- oh shit.”
This had to be a trick. You must've not been over his death yet and now your brain is making you hallucinate him. You slowly turn around to face him and tears instantly form in your eyes. Eddie feels himself freeze under your gaze, feeling like a criminal that's been caught. You shake your head and walk up to him, you raise your hand as if you're going to rest it on his shoulder but you freeze.
“You're not real.” You whisper while shaking your head. You let out a laugh like it's some kind of sick joke and turn toward your friends.
“Please tell me he's not real.”
The lack of answers confirmed it for you. You then turned toward Eddie with tears streaming down your face, but there was fire behind your eyes.
“How long have you been here?”
“Y/n, hear me out-”
“How long?!”
Eddie stays quiet and decides his shoes are much more interesting cause he can't bring his eyes to meet yours. You let out a scoff and look at your friends.
“Okay, since the fucking ghost doesn't want to talk I'll ask you guys. How long has he been back?”
“Ever since you caught me at his trailer,” Dustin spoke up.
You sniffled and nodded your head.
“So did you all know?”
Everyone on the couch nodded their head and Steve mumbled a quiet yeah.
“Was anyone going to tell me?”
“We wanted to,” Mike began.
“That's not what I asked. I asked if you were ever going to tell me.”
Everyone was silent once again and to be honest, you were getting fed up with it.
“you know what?” you chuckled out. “I think I'm done.”
“Done?” Nancy asked.
You grabbed your keys and started to walk toward the door.
“Yeah. With you guys.”
Everyone started to talk over each other and Eddie rushed to stand in front of the door, blocking you from leaving.
“Hey hot shot, just hear them out. Hear us out.” He begged.
For the first time in months, you look Eddie in the eyes, and it feels like you're back at the very beginning.
“Get out of my way Eddie, or else you'll wish you were dead.”
Defeated, he steps out of the way but chases you outside. The sun was no longer in the sky and the dam finally broke. Tears were streaming down your face and you felt arms wrap around you. You try your best to push him away but he's not letting you go.
“Get off of me!” you cry out.
“Sweetheart, please.”
“No! Do you know how fucking miserable I was Eddie?! Did you know that I considered going back to that hell hole to get you?!” you're pushing him now and you catch a glance of your former friends watching you from the window.
Eddie grabs your hands trying to stop you but you twist out of his grasp.
“For months people you love have suffered Eddie! This isn't even about me anymore! Does your uncle know you're back?! What about Gareth and the rest of the party?!”
Eddie shakes his head and tears are forming in his eyes.
“Really?! You're crying, Eddie?!”
“You weren't supposed to find out this way.”
“Then how? How the fuck was I supposed to find out Eddie? Were you going to come to my house with a bouquet of flowers? Were you gonna wait until I tried to go back to the upside-down again?”
Eddie stayed silent. He never really thought about how he was going to tell you, or how you would react. He knew that the more time dragged on the more difficult it would be, but he still had hope.
You saw a tear fall down Eddie's cheek and it took everything in you to not wipe it away. You've dreamt of this moment, you've even prayed for it but this isn't how it was supposed to happen. You were supposed to be happy he was alive, jump into his arms and finally kiss him as you've always wanted to do.
“You know,” you started as you walked to the driver's side of the car. “You may not be dead anymore Eddie,”
You start the car. “But you're dead to me.” you nod your head at everyone gathered by the window.
“They are too. I don't want to see any of you ever again.”
You drove off after that, you weren't sure where you were going, considering all your friends lied to you about something that big. Part of you wants to rationalize what they've done, and you can kinda understand why they did it but you would've never done that to them.
Your heart is pounding out of your chest as you walk up to the front door of the last person you should be seeing. You knock three times and wipe away the tears that are streaming down your face, you look like a mess right now you're sure of it but you don't care.
“Y/n?” Gareth asks with concern. “What's going on, why are you crying?”
“Eddie isn't dead.”
Gareth wants to laugh, but he can't. He won't. The way you look right now, the shakiness in your voice. He wants to think you're joking but what kind of sick person would make a joke about this? He steps to the side and opens the door wide for you, silently asking you to come in. You step inside his home and stuff your hands into your pockets, not bothering to wipe away your tears anymore.
“You've got a lot of explaining to do.”
You let out a humorless chuckle. “How much time do you have?”
Gareth let's out a sigh and hugs you, his hand rubbing your back gently as you cry into his shoulder.
"I've got all the time in the world right now."

Volo was seething. That stupid child beat him yet again, and even Girantina fled! But okay. Let them enjoy their victory. Let them enjoy being Arceus' Chosen. For now. He wouldn't rest, after all. He would find a way to meet Arceus, and he would create the world anew!
"No wonder it was so sad..." Volo turned, frowning. The kid hadn't turned yet, still facing the direction Girantina went, their back to him. "I was eleven when I first met Girantina. Well...first for me, at least" Volo's frown deepened. By now, he was aware that they were from the future, but that they actually met Girantina there?! How?!
"There was a...very troubled man. He was raised by bad parents who didn't care, and his only friends were machines. So he came to see emotions as useless, and abandoned his. He came to see the world as flawed and in need to be remade" Wait a moment "So he went and summoned Dialga and Palkia, and then, Girantina. But Girantina was angry, and pulled him into it's dimension. I followed it, to save him. The Lake Trio was with me, and they all looked at me with pity. And when I stood eye to eye with Girantina...it had the same look. Pity. Shame. Apologizing with it's eyes. Like it knew me. And now...I finally know why." They sat down, pulling their knees to their chest and hugging them. Volo could only stare. In this child's time, someone tried to do the very same as him, and that person too had failed. They went through the potential destruction of their entire dimension not once, but twice. He almost felt bad. If they hadn't destroyed his plan, of course.
"I was so fucking terrified back then. The Pokémon banished by Arceus itself stood before me, and had just kidnapped a man. And when it was all over, I didn't really...got a break. I was pushed by my friends and family to continue my gym challenge, and go challenge the champion...I was eleven. And I just went on against the devil itself! And after I did what everyone expected me to, it just got worse. I went to another region to try and get my head free. Didn't work, two evil teams tried to bring the apocalypse by terraforming everything. And then my mom got sick, and I was scared of losing her. Only...only for Arceus to take me from my home, my family, my friends, my Pokémon...and stranding me centuries in the past, giving me a task I didn't ask for." They finally looked to Volo, and even he felt a sharp pain in his chest. They didn't cry, and it made the empty, broken look in their eyes just so, so much worse. "You envy me for being in Arceus' favor? You can have it if you want! I didn't as for it! I didn't ask for any of this!" They rose to their feet again, stumbling over to him.
"I didn't ask to be taken away from everyone I knew and loved! I didn't ask for Arceus to...favor me! Because this is no favor! Since I came here, I felt almost nothing but fear! Everyone made sure I know I'm not welcomed here, the professor was the only exception! I got told if I made a mistake, they'd kick me out, leaving me to die! Kleaver almost got me! I will forever have the burn marks from when I fought Arcanine! My ears will never be as good as they were because of Electrode! I nearly lost the feeling in my hands because of the frostburn Avalugg gave me! Not to mention all the other injuries I got from the Pokémon! And- and then I got exiled for something that wasn't my fault! And they all saw it as justified! Dialga and Palkia tried to end me! Do you really think I'm favored?!" They collapsed. Volo moved without realizing he did it, only becoming aware of it when he felt their weight against his chest. They sounded...so tired. There was no anger in their voice, no sadness. No tears in their eyes, their body not shaking. As if they were...apathetic to all the horrors they just described. Volo slowly understood what they had been through. And it was way too much for those small shoulders to bear. How old did they say they were? 15?
"I knew you were not my friend." Their voice made him freeze. What? How...how could they have known? "My...the Champion...she's your descendant. And she told me, after the fight with that man, about her ancestor, who tried to do the same as him. I knew you were not my friend. But you were so nice. And you helped me when no one else would. And I just...I hoped it was true. That maybe, you did care about me. That maybe, the kindness was genuine, and we really could be friends." Volo didn't need to look down to see the tears that were finally coming. He could hear them in their voice.
He had messed up. This child was messed up. Forced through too much at a way too young age. From him as well as the dastard god. He had planned to leave Hisui, not like he could stay, anyway. But...he wouldn't leave them now. He'd make sure the Galactic Corps would be with them. Because from how they acted...he would not risk it. He would not risk them doing something that could not be undone.
aw this hurts :((( But also I wanna bully Volo because he deserves it. Literally sent out The Devil after this child but now you're feeling guilty? Jail

🔔 ... ATEEZOFFICIAL UPLOADED: ATEEZ (에이티즈) 2022 TRICK OR TREAT WITH LUA !
Tumblr media
EDITION ..  for the first time in her life, lua’s going trick or treating! dressed in a look similar to orphan’s esther, what’s in store for her?
CW(S) .. mentions of foods and pranks
MONA SAYS ..   and here we have my first reactions post ever— i’m still new to this kind of format so please bear with me! oh, i also made the thumbnail which is why it looks hideous (not handong though, never handong)
Tumblr media
SEONGHWA !
lua's only been with him for one minute and she already wanted to run away. it's like having her mom there, which is ironic because seonghwa was snapping plenty of pictures to show mama zhang. she endured his cooing some more before she held out her bucket, waiting to see what he had for her. of course he gave her some sweets.. right after she did one more pose for the camera.
HONGJOONG !
she actually had to call the leader after waiting outside his studio, knuckles shaded with a light red tint from knocking so much. when he finally opens up to build a snowman to greet her, he laughed at the sight of the human doll who quickly shifted her pout into a cheerful smile. then it turned into a pout again when hongjoong put a few fruit bars in her bucket. hey, at least she had something healthy to balance out the mountain of sweets he knew she'd definitely get later on.
YUNHO !
knowing him, she kept her bucket safe by putting it aside before greeting him with the famous phrase. it's a good thing too, since the treats he gave her were a warm hug and cheeks that were pink from being pinched to match with it. of course, when he asked if she had anything for him in return, she handed him the cup of instant cook ramen which was, in fact, the only treat she'd brought for her trip. you know, just favorite member things.
YEOSANG !
lua is yeosang's favorite. everyone knows that—the members do, atinys do, even non-fans can see it. but that doesn't mean he can't play a small trick on her from time to time. so when it was his time to shine, he gave her a packet of jelly belly's bean boozled. actually it wasn't less of a trick and more of a weapon that she can use against wooyoung once he pulls another prank on her.
okay yeah, lua is definitely yeosang's favorite.
SAN !
on the count of one, everyone act surprised that he gave her a treat. gasp! he thought of playing a trick on her; really, he did—uh huh, sure—but backed out last minute and gave her a lucky cat lamp that he caught her eyeing last week. atinys definitely enjoyed watching this section of the vlog, seeing as how the two bickered over whether she should receive it or not. in the end, san kinda won, kinda lost—he got treated to a kiss on the cheek.
MINGI !
honestly wasn't expecting it, this one was such a plot twist. everyone knows that the girl hates slime, she's made that clear on several occasions before. but seeing as how it's the day of spooks, mingi thought it'd be a good idea to let her dig in a box for her treat. she only took one second to process what she was touching, then another to yank her hand out of it, causing the box to fly away.
mingi's victim list now looks like this: lua, and a poor convenience store worker.
WOOYOUNG !
she gave him the benefit of the doubt, okay? seeing as how he plays tricks on her every once in a while, she thought that day would be one of those where he would be nice. but wooyoung doesn't know what that word means, and she ended up using the camera stick to defend herself from the “monster” that had snuck up on her while she was roaming through the company. even though he just made her soul jump into the next dimension, she still gave him a treat—not.
JONGHO !
so technically, what jongho gave her is a trick. i mean, who likes receiving apple slices on the one day of the year where filling your stomach with as much sugar as you can is excused? but lua saw it as a treat because he took the time to peel the fruit and remove the seeds before cutting it up. she didn't even let the members know what she was going to do for the special day, so how did he prepare? (spoiler alert: hwa told everyone right after she left him to meet joong.)
either way, it's a treat in lua's books, and that's that.
BONUS: STRAY KIDS !
in hindsight, lua should have messaged inka to let her know that she was going to visit. at least some of the members were home, she supposed she could work with that. and it actually did work great: bang chan had the same reaction as seonghwa when he saw her, jeongin requested—on behalf of himself and jisung who still acts too starstruck to speak up—to get some pictures with her, and felix gave her a mini bag of his famous brownies.
uh huh, she definitely had to visit the skz dorm more often.

When someone toxic needs a friend
I just wanna add a little personal reflection to the discussion of Spinel’s treatment in Steven Universe: The Movie.
A few signposts so you know where I’m starting with this:
A criticism I’ve seen:
Steven was not particularly warm to Spinel. He did not hug her. He did not offer to be her friend. He spoke carelessly and triggered her toward becoming murderous again. He only cared about what she could do for him.
Tumblr media
A perspective I’ve seen:
LOTS of people with borderline personality disorder or strong feelings about abandonment personally relate to Spinel and are critical of Steven from this perspective.
Tumblr media
Rebecca Sugar’s commentary on Spinel:
The thing about Spinel is that she’s a really toxic person.
She’s so toxic that she’s literally trying to poison people.
In my interactions with friends who have had a history difficult enough to make it hard for them to trust other people and sometimes even actively want to hurt others, it’s just a very difficult situation to navigate. In the case of Spinel and all of these characters, that’s extremely exaggerated because cartoons have the ability to be extreme exaggerations. I wanted to explore what it’s like when you’re trying to help someone who really doesn’t want to help themselves, who wants to embody the negative feelings that they have about themselves. I think that’s something really real. I hadn’t seen that in a cartoon before.
Spinel, unlike many other characters, actually has the goal of hurting people, which is new territory for the show. She really wants to hurt Steven, and there’s a reason that she does—because she’s in so much pain. I just wanted to explore all the dimensions of that.
I also think Steven has his way of trying to handle and dissolve conflict. It’s not necessarily a good way for him to handle this situation. It really leaves him in a difficult state, and I think what I wanted to show in the way that they interact is that at a certain point, when you can’t help someone, you have to be able to protect yourself.
Ultimately, he can’t really convince her to change. It’s something she’ll have to want for herself. But what he can do is protect himself from her, making it impossible for her to hurt him.
It’s sort of up to you if you would like to love her. If you watch this movie and she, you know, frustrates you, that is totally fair. I want that to be a big part of who she is.
[From the AV Club interview]
Tumblr media
So here are a few things I want to shed light on.
It’s very interesting that Rebecca intended Spinel to be read as “a toxic person” because so many fans fell in love with her, said they’d be her friend, hated intensely on Pink Diamond because of what she did to abandon the poor Gem, and sympathized with her directly. But Rebecca was looking at Spinel from Steven’s perspective. And that’s also what I did.
I’ve been Steven. I have VERY much been Steven.
Tumblr media
When you meet someone who was done dirty, when you recognize the horror they’ve been through, when you see how much pain they are in and agree they have the right to be angry, it’s natural for empathetic people to offer themselves as comfort.
Tumblr media
But when you’re Steven, you also know it isn’t YOUR fault either. Before you have the ability and experience to set boundaries, you can get sucked into other people’s stormy waters and think you’re helping if you drown in solidarity with them. What’s really important to preserving yourself is learning that you can stand on the boat and toss a life preserver. That it doesn’t ACTUALLY HELP to jump in the water and sink with them.
Some folks are angry that Steven didn’t jump right into sacrifice himself on the altar of friendship in the service of an intense, literally murderous stranger who tried to poison him and his planet and lash out at his friends, robbing them of their rich pasts and their relationships because all of it hurt HER so much. It is SO easy to understand WHY SPINEL WAS ANGRY. But nothing she was doing to Steven, his friends, or the Earth was going to fix her problems, and furthermore, she FULLY UNDERSTOOD that it was NOT THE FAULT of any of the people she took her anger out on. It was irrational, yes, and that is part of her dysfunction. But also, in these situations, what helps explain it still does not excuse it.
Tumblr media
Some have railed at Steven saying he somehow forgave genocidal tyrants like the Diamonds but couldn’t be friends with a damaged Gem like Spinel who just wanted friendship. The big difference there is that Steven got involved with the Diamonds when both parties believed he was a different person. The Diamonds believed he was the lost Pink Diamond, and Steven has also spent much of his superhero life believing he WAS his mother and was therefore obligated to accept punishment for her crimes or to clean up the messes she made. Now that he knows he is not her and that she did some pretty horrible stuff, he also wants the right to stop feeling responsible for every person Pink hurt in the entire region of space.
Tumblr media
Steven gave Spinel basically compassionate treatment. He did not abuse her. He did not insult her. He occasionally coddled her when it seemed important (and though some said he was too businesslike while he pursued his mission, he was literally looking at the world ending within two days if he didn’t solve the problem). And most importantly . . . .
He let her leave the garden.
Tumblr media
Spinel stayed in the garden all those millennia because Pink Diamond told her they were playing a game. All that time, she had visions of Pink returning so she could see her smile, hear her laughter. We see a sequence where she tried to follow Pink out of the garden and Pink manipulated her into staying willingly. We watch those feet leaving and one pair of feet staying behind. We see Pink disappear.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
When Steven goes to leave the garden, Spinel follows in the same manner. Some have criticized him for letting go of her hands.
Tumblr media
But he invited her out of the garden. He didn’t say stay. He said come with me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As he sang about her deserving someone better, he was sincere. But he did not say the person to make her feel found should be him. He did not want to take on another person with thousands of years of baggage who would require a specific brand of attention and so much tenderness to avoid snapping. He did not allow her to be held by the hand and led out. He recognized that she needed encouragement to leave this place because of what was done to her, but he wanted her to take the steps.
Compassionate people are crushed all the time under the weight of needy people who make it hurt to love. People like Steven can acknowledge that Spinel deserves love and deserves to be happy without accepting that it’s heartless to stop short of personally doing it. Especially when you literally have to take physical, mental, and emotional damage as a general consequence of offering support and counseling. It is sometimes just beyond what you can do.
I made the mistake several times of getting very close to someone who treated me poorly while taking comfort in my presence. I cared that they were hurt and I didn’t know how to say “You deserve love” without stepping in and loving them. In EVERY case I was involved with, the person went from initially grateful to “why don’t you help me more?” shockingly quickly, and two of them deliberately tried to create situations where I would be trapped with them and isolated from others.
Tumblr media
I could get very personal here but I don’t think I need to. Those of us who relate all too well to Steven wanting to help others will have been in this situation. Your heart hurts for people who live with pain that has never touched you, but when they’ve made it clear with one of their first actions that they feel satisfied at the idea of ruining your life, trusting them could mean the end of you. Especially if they demand that you risk life and limb to fix and save them before you’d dare to call it love, and especially if they want to be fixed without feeling responsible for initiating any of it. Some people mistake suffering for working hard toward a goal. Both can hurt but only one is constructive. If I’m expected to spend extensive resources on someone, I need some partnership in the goal, and I can’t accomplish that with someone whose wish for companionship manifests as “I want you to feel as bad as I do, and will take steps to hurt you so I have someone to cry with.”
Tumblr media
Steven risked his actual life while he didn’t have powers so he could go talk to Spinel, and he wouldn’t fight her when she wanted to fight. He protected himself while she spent her anger. He STILL put himself in the line of fire far more than a less compassionate person would. He took time and tenderness to listen to her story and sympathize with her, tell her she deserved better, bear witness to what she’d become after being treated like a discarded plaything, and bring her hope with promises of a new future and a way to feel found.
Tumblr media
Sadly, Spinel flipped back to being murderous at the first sign that Steven might be about to prioritize someone other than her, reframing his reasonable needs as if he was planning to abandon her, isolate her, discard her. This was a trauma reaction, yes, and she isn’t entirely to blame for being upset because she was worried she was just being used and none of her actions were logically thought through.
Tumblr media
But does someone ever “deserve” the friendship of a specific person who can’t feel warm toward them because of their OWN bad experiences?
No!
Steven has a big heart but he has his very own huge storehouse of trauma, and being physically attacked with his family and planet put in danger over the actions of his mother is at the top of the list. Instead of assuming that the person who has trauma the loudest is the most hurt, can’t we just acknowledge that Spinel’s and Steven’s respective traumas make them NOT the best match for friendship?
Tumblr media
The ending of the movie, with Spinel going off with the Diamonds, might seem a little disturbing with all the codepencency floating around there, but if you want to talk about compassion, I think this is a good place for Spinel to start.
Tumblr media
She just wanted to make Pink Diamond laugh and enjoy her life. She longed to do that for so long and then it all ended when she found out she would NEVER GET TO DO IT. I think bonding with the other Diamonds and having a familiar, safe place to experience the kind of love she’s used to will be a good FOUNDATION for building herself into a person beyond that. For now, she needs comfort. I hope they treat her well.

"Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you."
'I can't believe I'm at Will's funeral.'
"Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." The pastor continued.
I spared a glance at the people around me.
I looked to Jonathan, his head bowed, and poor Joyce who was sitting nearby.
I can't imagine what they must be going through.
Joyce was like a second mother to me, and she has always treated as if I was one of her own. I'll always be grateful for that. I lay a hand on her shoulder.
She looks up to me confused like I had pulled her deep out of her thought, upon seeing it was me she smiles thankfully. She put her hand over mine and gave it a few gentle pats and then a small stroke with her thumb to say thank you.
I smiled solemnly at her and let go, listening to the rest of the service.
"It's times like these that our faith is challenged. How, if he is truly benevolent... could God take us from someone so young, so innocent?"
I looked down at my feet.
"It would be easy to turn away from God... but we must remember that nothing, not even tragedy, can separate us from His love."
I felt a nudge on my shoulder and turned to look at Dustin. He wore a sly smirk as he looked to his right, past me and Mike.
Frowning in confusion, I turned my head to see what he was smirking about.
"Just wait till we tell Will that Jennifer Hayes was crying at his funeral." Dustin said cheekily.
I scoffed under my breath, rolling my eyes.
"Since when has she cared about Will? She couldn't even get his name right, remember that week she called him Bill?" I huffed, crossing my arms in distaste.
The boys smirked at me.
"What?" I asked.
"Somebody jealous?" Lucas smirked.
"No-! Not ev- Shut up!" I scowl.
The boys giggle earning more than a few concerned and offended glances making me smile to myself. Mrs. Wheeler leaned down and shushed the boys making me smirk more.
'Serves them right.'
Soon enough, the casket had been lowered into the growd and roses had been thrown on top. I made my way to the very side of the grave, looking down.
"I know you're not dead. But I swear to God, if you don't come back I'm gonna kill you." I muttered to the casket in the ground.
As people began to filter out, we watched as Mike's mom said her condolences to Will's parents.
"I'm so, so sorry."
"Oh, thank you so much for coming." Will's dad said.
I never liked him.
Joyce was just standing by herself quietly, her arms crossed looking down at the grave.
"Yeah, if there's anything we can do..." Mr. Wheeler offered, shaking the man's hand.
"I appreciate it. Thank you so much."
I said goodbye to Lucas who had to follow his parents out, even though we would be seeing him later at the wake. I did the same with Mike, and soon enough Mom was waiting for us so we could get to the car.
"Mom, will you give me a minute?"
"Of course, Pumpkin," She smiled at me with sympathy.
I turned around wove through the crowd that had separated me from Joyce. I tapped her on the shoulder, seeming to jostle her from her thoughts a second time.
Upon seeing it was me, she smiled.
"Hi, Ms. Byers."
"Oh, hi Y/n. Thank you, for coming, sweetheart," She smiled.
I captured her in a bear hug and she gladly reciprocated, giving my several comforting strokes.
"Of course. I'm so, so sorry for your loss." I said, letting her go.
"Oh, thank you, honey. T-Tell me, how have you been holding up?" She asked gently.
My eyes welled up.
"I'm not gonna lie, it's- it's been really hard. I just, I just miss him so much. Your son was such a good person. Always a gentleman." I knew what I was saying.
Even if he is alive for sure, everything I said was true. He always has been nothing but kind to me.
Not to mention, I owe him for so much.
She seemed extremely thankful for hearing that and I was glad I could make her genuinely smile on this sad day.
"Really? Oh sweetie, thank you. That means, just so much to me."
I look back to my mom and brother waiting for me by the car, and I return my gaze back to Ms. Byers.
"Um, I better go. My mom is waiting for me. I guess I'll be seeing you at the wake. Goodbye, Ms. Byers."
"Thank you again, Y/n. I'll see you later, okay?" Her face slightly fell and she smiled at me.
I nod and begin walking backward sending a small wave her way before turning around a breaking out into a small jog to catch up to my mom.
⊹ ⊹ ⊹
Being at the funeral of your best friend is daunting and quite surreal.
Being at the funeral of your best friend who is quite possibly alive in another dimension and you and only four other people know this is a completely different ballpark.
We had all met up at the wake and regrouped.
The plan was to ask Mr. Clarke if there was anything he could tell us about the theories regarding alternate dimensions. I'm just praying that we don't arouse suspicion given the setting.
"Mr. Clarke?" The tall man turned his attention away from the buffet to look at us.
Mr. Clarke smiled sympathetically. "Oh, hey, there."
The somber look came easily to my face as I looked to Mr. Clarke, Mike, and Lucas on either side of me while Dustin was digging into the buffet.
"How are you kids holding up?"
Lucas speaks up for us, slightly distracted by Dustin's blatant chewing. "We're... in... mourning."
"Man, these aren't real Nilla Wafers," Dustin sighed, shaking his head.
My eyes widen softly, and I look to Mr. Clarke trying to cover for him.
"You'll have to excuse my brother, Mr. Clarke, he's-" I stop midsentence to see him happily munching on more snacks, and look back to Mr. Clarke. "well, he mourns in his own... special way."
"We were wondering if you had time to talk?" Mike asked, wanting to move things along as quickly as possible.
"We have some questions," Lucas added.
I shook my head in agreement. "A lot of questions, actually,"
Mr. Clarke complied and the four of us found ourselves at the nearest table, asking our teacher about other dimensions at our "dead" friends' wake. Not something I ever could have imagined doing.
"So, you know how in Cosmos, Carl Segan talks about other dimensions? Like, beyond our world?"
"Yeah, sure. Theoretically." Mr. Clarke replies, noticeably confused at the subject of our questions.
"Right, theoretically,"
"So, theoretically, how do we travel there?" Lucas asked.
"You guys have been thinking about Hugh Everett's Many-World's Interpretation, haven't you?" A ghost of a smile on our teacher's face.
"Yeah," I chuckled, nodding my head in response.
The boys looked at me, wondering why I had said that.
I gave them a look that said, 'I don't know, just go with it.'
"Well, basically, there are parallel universes. Just like our world, but just infinite variations of it. Which means there's a world out there where none of this tragic stuff ever happened," I found myself nodding along, not for the sake of being believable, but actually lost in the idea.
"Yeah, that's not what we're talking about," Lucas sighed, leaning back.
"Oh."
"We were thinking of more of an evil dimension, like the Vale of Shadows. You know the Vale of Shadows?" Dustin asked, taking another loud bite of his off brand Nilla Wafers.
Not thinking that our science teacher would know anything about Dungeons and Dragons, I was completely taken aback by his next words.
"An echo of the Material Plane, where necrotic and shadow magic–"
"Yeah, exactly." Mike said cutting him off.
I shift uncomfortably in my seat.
"If that did exist - a place like the Vale of Shadows - how would we travel there?"
"Theoretically, of course." I add.
"Well..."
Mr. Clarke grabbed an empty paper plate and pulled out a pen from his jacket pocket. He then drew a straight line across the paper plate as he spoke, creating a visual for us.
"Picture... an acrobat..." He drew a small stick figure on top of the lines. "standing on a tightrope. Now, the tightrope is our dimension. And our dimension has rules."
He began drawing arrows on either side of the acrobat.
"You can move forwards, or backwards. But, what if..." He drew a very small creature under one of the arrows. "right next to our acrobat, there is a flea? Now, the flea can also travel back and forth, just like the acrobat. Right?"
"Right." We all agreed.
"Here's where things get really interesting. The flea can also travel this way... along the side of the rope." He drew arrows indicating the flea's direction around and under the rope, causing me to furrow my brows. "He can even go underneath the rope."
The boys and I all shared the same look before returning our gaze to Mr. Clarke. "Upside Down."
"Exactly."
Mike spoke up. "But we're not the flea, we're the acrobat."
"In this metaphor, yes, we're the acrobat."
"So we can't go upside down?" Lucas asked warily.
"No."
"Well, is there any way for the acrobat to get to the Upside Down?"
"Well," Our teacher furrowed his brows, a thoughtful look coming upon his face. "you'd have to create a massive amount of energy. More than humans are currently capable of creating, mind you, to open up some kind of tear in time and space, and then..."
He folded the paper plate in half, creasing it shut before shoving his pen directly through both sides of the paper plate. "you create a doorway."
"Like a gate?" My brother asked eagerly.
"Sure. Like a gate. But again, this is all–"
"Theoretical." I smile, nodding my head.
"But... but what if this gate already existed?" Mike asked, timidly.
"Well, if it did, I... I think we'd know. It would disrupt gravity, the magnetic field, our environment. Heck, it might even swallow us up whole."
Mike seems to gauge our reactions, and I'm the only one who met his eye with an equally uncertain gaze.
"Science is neat." Mr. Clarke continued. "But I'm afraid it's not very forgiving."
We all lean back, digesting the information.

MASTERLIST
Word Count: 2267
You narrowed your eyes as the city continued to bustle, noise from people and cars emitted in the air. Clouds hung sparsely over Central City as the waning moon took the place of the sun high in the sky. The wind blew a light breeze through your hair. You kicked a leg back and forth gently as you sat on the edge of the STAR Labs tower wings. Your other leg was bent close to your body, an arm resting over your knee. The height didn’t scare you so much as it used to. In fact, you didn’t mind being so close to the edge anymore. If you fell, then you fell. Truth be told, your powers would save you whether you willed it to or not. Some would say it’s a curse, others not so much. Your umbrakinesis acted like a defense mechanism at those times. A sigh left your lips as you straightened up your back, cracking it. Relief echoed through your body, but your heart felt heavy. Time is ticking... You knew what was happening downstairs, Gideon had alerted you when someone entered the Time Vault. It wouldn’t be completely wrong to say that you didn’t want to face him – couldn’t get attached since he’d been here. Not again. Staying up here was your way of avoiding that problem until… Until what, though?
The hair at the back of your neck stood up, a chill ran down your spine as your shadows alerted you of a presence a distance behind you. Turning your head slightly, you sent an icy look to the one person you dreaded to see. The face of the man you had seen pass one too many times. Their looks from their final moments imprinted in your mind for this one to come back. He was the last thing you had of them.
Harrison Wells.
A small smile was on his face, his hair tousled with his clear-framed glasses perched on his nose. He knew you’d be up here. The others told him you’d been up here since his reincarnation into the world. Since he’d made contact with Team Flash to help them and explain his predicament of currently living. But really, Harrison would have known if no one had told him. He had sensed it. Seen it – the images flickered past in his brain. The other versions of himself with you up here – the foreign familiarness that he personally did not experience.
But nothing more than a dreadful reminder of what’s past.
“I’ve come to say good-bye,” the genius started in a soft voice, wanting to approach you carefully. Your glare bothered him, yet he knows it shouldn’t, for once Harrison leaves, he will be united with Tess, the love of his life. Over and over and over again.
You snorted, turning your gaze to the stars that twinkled away from the clouds. You could see the constellations of Cassiopeia, winking brightly light-years away. “Such a shame, you could have helped them with Godspeed.” A bitter laugh left your lips as you recalled Nash showing you how to recognize the constellations and where to navigate from there. Sherloque would drink his tea up here with you and converse about his cases. HR would read to you his latest ideas and novels while you gave your input. You would drag Harry out of his lab to get some fresh air. And Eobard… he was the one who showed you this view, before Barry had woken up, before the Particle Accelerator had gone online.
“Team Flash is more than capable of handling threats on their own.”
“I take it you think that having a Wells must be a handicap, hm?”
“I never said that.”
“Hmph.”
“I couldn’t leave without telling you good-bye.” You pressed your lips thinly and Harrison continued, pocketing his hands in his dark coat. “It didn’t feel right to go without saying that.”  The night was getting colder, yet you remained out here in a thin jacket. Dare he say, he worried a bit?  You turned to fully look at him from your seated position. “I… won’t deny the sentiment I feel towards you. The memories of the past Wells. Their thoughts – well, previous thoughts – and feelings are still here.” Harrison had gestured to his head then placed a hand on his heart. Bile rose at the back of your throat as the smiling images of the boys hit your mind. You bit your lip hard as he spoke, “Each one of them felt strongly for you, but I’m not them. They’d want you to move on. To live-”
“No!” Your patience snapped, standing up rapidly with expert footing. Shadows went rampant in the night, wind howling in his ears. “You don’t get to say that!” Darkness immediately consumed the atmosphere and air around you both. Unbridled anger licked up in your heart and soul as you took heavy steps towards him. Harrison couldn’t see, but he could feel the moving darkness as he stood his ground. “You have no right to act all high and mighty towards me.” A hiss left his lips as a dark particle lashed at his arm, burning through his coat and marring his skin just as he heard your anger burn in your next words. “You don’t understand the strings that fate has chained me with! Nor will you ever understand my burden.”
***Flashback***
“What is it that you want?” You glared at the entity. The Monitor had appeared in your kitchen as you were pouring yourself some alcohol to enjoy your quiet night. You had taken some time away from all the heroes and villains running around.
“I came because I require your assistance for the Crisis.”
“Pass, I’m not in the mood to play the hero.”
“The point is not to be a hero or the villain, but to honor fate’s will.”
“Well fate can go hump a stump for all I care,” you sipped on your choice of alcohol, you turned away from the eternal entity only to find him in front of you right as you had exited your kitchen. A deep frown crossed your features. This is such a drag.
“Fate has bound your life to Harrison Wells the moment you first met him years ago.”
“False, that was Eobard masquerading as Wells. So, technically no.”
“That technicality may be so, but fate saw the speedster as your gateway to the rest of them. Without Thawne you would not have been so tied to Harrison Wells’ existence.” Rolling your eyes, you took another sip, already knowing you’d need a couple of glasses to forget about this interaction. “Your life is bound to his. To them.” The Monitor had you right where he wanted you, pushing images into your mind to allow you to see reason. “You were a lover.” You flinched as the image of Eobard appeared in your mind. “A partner.” Harry. “A friend.” HR. “And a confidante.” Sherloque. “Now this one needs you as well, he is in danger of himself with the Anti-monitor. My opposite entity.” You knew he was referring to Nash, the multiverse explorer with the haughty attitude and snarky comments.
“…”
“You are the anomaly that exists in the multiverse, there is no other in your position.” The entity saw the hesitation flicker in your being. “The time has come for you to be his protector.”
***Time Skip***
Nash panted, on the ground of this desolate land on his hands and knees. His mouth felt dry, tasting iron in his mouth from the blood on his split lip. How much longer can he endure this? The Anti-monitor continued to laugh at him, to mock him, for his weakness. Pariah gripped hard at the dirty snow, blood and mud defiled the pure whiteness. He couldn’t get back up. His body ached. No matter how hard Nash tried to push back, the Anti-monitor was too strong for him even with these temporary powers.
“Humans are such fickle beings,” the anti-entity spoke in a grand manner, “Soon the multiverse will be mine and there shall be no flaws. No humans to corrupt my domain.” The eternal being gathered his divine power into the palm of his hand and fired anti-matter at his appointed Pariah. The one to bear witness of the end of the multiverse. His curse.
Nash shut his eyes; this was the end. This was his end. A breath left him, what he expected to be his final breath. But the final blow never came. Ringing greeted Nash’s ears as he opened his eyes. Standing in front of him, shielding his body was you and your dark powers. For whatever reason it withstood the anti-matter as particles clashed against one another. You stood defiantly and gracefully in your fighting positions, conjuring your dark spectacles from every shaded corner.
“Don’t you dare touch him, you fucking monster.” You growled, your hands working magnificently to bind the Anti-monitor down. Once bound your umbra became spears and swords that pierced through the entity. While it could not kill the Anti-monitor, it slowed him down – meaning it would slow down his assault on Nash. You needed to get him to safety, needed him to have enough strength to teleport you two away from this dimension. And that’s exactly what you convinced him to do when you grabbed him, hugging his injured body to yourself as he fought to stay conscious.
***End Flashback***
“You don’t understand what loss truly is! You don’t get how hard it is to move on from this.” Just as you had moved, so had Harrison. A dagger of darkness at his throat, clenching the front of his cloak as he held a dagger of light to your own throat. Harrison  gritted his teeth as he used his powers to light up the area in his green light. “This pain, the misery of losing over and over and over again. To bear the burden of fate’s strings only to watch them all fall.” He flinched at how the veins around your eyes had darkened to a charcoal color. His throat dried as fear hit him. Harry’s memory flashed into his mind – the memory of you in this state, accidentally killing a meta in self-defense. “You’re just a selfish man, running away from what’s in front of him.” Harrison’s light battled against your darkness to keep the physical manifestations of umbra away from harming his body. “I despise people like that.”
“I’m only doing what’s best for me.”
“By what, Harrison? Running to the past? What’s in the past is best left in the past, those who hold on to the past don’t appreciate the present.”
“Such hypocritical words coming from someone who sulks around up here for what once was.”
“You don’t fucking know anything about me. All you have are some second-hand memories, but you don’t truly know me and what I’ve been through. You’re just like Barry.”
“And you’re any different?”
“At least I know the difference between reality and a desperate dream.”
“…” He knew Tess is doomed to die for time to flow, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t cherish every second with her until it was time. Maybe he was a desperate man chasing after a desperate dream, but he would until the bitter end. For Tess.
“A Time Loop is just a miserable notion for you to see Tess when her destiny is already a fixed time point. Just like Barry’s mother. Their deaths are absolute. Even with your Timeless powers you can’t interfere with what’s set in place.”
“That may be so, but I’ve fulfilled my part here – at least I have someone to return home to, even if they are doomed to die. I could be by her side over and over again.”
Harrison’s words pierced your heart, you pushed the tears back. The ache in your heart throbbed at a greater rate. At least… he had the power to return to his someone… The genius saw the haunting dejection in your eyes, the way your shoulders quivered as you tried to keep yourself together. He regretted the words that left his mouth…
“Do as you please,” you whispered, loosening your grip on his jacket to let him go. The darkness dissipated as you walked back to your perch with pocketed hands. “I’m done begging…” You mumbled to yourself so quietly that he didn’t catch your last statement. A tear left your eyes as you stood tall where you once sat.
“Good-bye,” Harrison murmured to the wind drifting in your direction before turning and leaving. A part of him felt torn by the things he had spat at you. What’s done is done. I doubt I’ll be back here any time soon. Clenching and unclenching his hand, Harrison shut his eyes and summoned his powers to pass through time. Tess, I’m coming home.
“Good-bye, Harrison.” Another tear fell, this time you wiped it as the night continued. He was gone. They were gone. You were alone, once again spectacularly alone and cold.
The pieces are all in place. The time has come…
Time still ticked as seconds went bye. A voice whispered at the back of your mind; the presence residing there since his exorcism. The one that kept you company through all this.
“It’s time, my queen.”

Chapter 4: Back to you.
Description: So... I know many Daminette fans don't like Damian being younger than Marinette so 🚨SPoiler AleRT 🚨 Damian is gonna be younger for a while but an event happens that gets their ages exchanged. (Sort of)
Warning; swearing, angst, fluff.
Summary: Where the world reunites with their loved ones..
Previously
"They're back!, They're back!, They're back!" Maps yelled excitedly, almost jumping at him
"Who's back?!"
"The people who disappeared 5 years ago!"
Damian blinked at the short girl in front of him before narrowing his eyes at her "this is no time to play games Mizoguchi."
"I'm not!" Mia huffed "ask anyone else."
Damian looked at her and he knew she wasn't lying, he gave her a small nod before heading back towards the washrooms.
"Wait!" Mia yelled, holding his wrist "Can you drop me to Olive house?"
"No." Damian deadpanned
"Can I at least have your grapple gun?"
"No" Damian sighed "Sorry Maps, I've gotta go"
Mia nodded "fine. you owe me a waffle bar!"
Damian rolled his eyes at her before running back, wasting no time. "Plagg! Claws out!"
"Aw come on!" Plagg hissed, before disappearing into the ring.
***
Damian ran across roof tops, he felt sick. Where they really there? how did they disappear? What if he went home and found out nobody was actually there? what was he going to to say? So many Questions jumped around his head, but he kept moving either way. He jumped over the large compound of his house calling out "Plagg claws in!" His black and green suit dissolved and was replaced with his uniform. He landed on the soft grass smoothly Before running around large fountain in front of his destination.
Damian panted, looking around. Jason's new bike was spread on the ground carelessly, and the car was literally half-hazardously parked.
He ran towards the large doors shoving it open...
to meet his family laughing and crying in Joy.
They were here. They were all here. Dick, Cass, Steph, Alfred, Selina, Kate, Chloe and Marinette.
Damian could only stare, They looked like they never aged a day, except Alfred who seemed to look younger.
"Damian?" Dick asked, a shocked look on his face which quickly dissolved into a bright smile "Oh my god you look so big!" He yelled, tackling him to the ground "Did you miss me?"
"TT, of course not."
"Liar" Tim laughed with tear stained cheeks "he cried everyday for two years."
"I didn't!" Damian hissed, still in the embrace of his older brother. "Uh-huh, sure." Bruce smiled his arms around Selina
"Father!"
"Wait, wait, wait." Chloe interrupted "what do you mean two years? We've just been gone for like, five minutes"
"Yeah! What's with that?" Steph asked in confusion
"You guys have been Gone for 5 years" Tikki said slowly while the others were nodding in agreement
"That's impossible, I was definitely there for 15 hours"
"It felt like five minutes for me" Chloe said as Cass nodded
"You guys sure you didn't hit your heads on your way back?" Jason joked
"Do you remember where you guys were?" Bruce asked
"Yes" Marinette nodded "It was-It was beautiful, it felt like you were in the middle of the universe without any care and so many different colors were there. Just like stars and galaxies"
"The quantum realm!" Fluff exclaimed "of course! Why didn't I think of that?!"
"What's a quantum realm?"
"The Quantum Zone, the realm where all the energy of the universe come from, and the Microverse, which consists of many different sub-atomic dimensions all accessible through the same means as they are in the Marvel Cinematic Universe." Fluff thought out loud
Jason blinked in confusion "I didn't understand a single shit."
"Language" Alfred warned.
"The Quantum Realm is a dimension that can be entered from Earth by compressing a human's mass to a certain point. Entering the Quantum Realm could potentially cause the person who enters it to shrink forever. Due to the nature of the realm, time passes differently and is more fluid. As a result, with the right equipment, the Quantum Realm can be used for time travel though its impossible to change one's own timeline when traveling into the past in such a manner." Fluff continued
"Still don't get it" Jason shrugged
"You would if you were smarter." Damian snorted
"In a simpler way...A person needs to be really tiny to enter the quantum realm and time passes differently for each person" Tim explained
"Ohhhhh, I get it now!"
"So you're telling we've been stuck in time?" Kate asked
Fluff nodded "except for Alfred, who seemed to travel back in time." which made chaos rise.
"You're telling me we've been missing for five years?!"
"Wait so technically I'm the oldest" Jason laughed evilly
"No you're not! I'm still a year older than you!" Dick smirked
Damian almost gave out a smile, until he noticed Marinette sitting silently on the ground staring at her hands. He crawled towards her, out of Dicks grip and sat next to the girl muttering a small "hey"
"Hi" Marinette mumbled back, glancing at him.
"What's wrong?"
"I-it just seems so unreal, five years? That's like my teenage life. Tim's all grown up! How old is he? 22? and-"
"Hey! hey! Calm down, it's fine. if it helps you feel better, You can always taunt them on how young you are."
"-And you've grown up all tall and muscular and pretty-"
"Pretty?" Damian asked, his face turning red.
"The world has obviously changed! I don't know how you lived without Alfred or Me and Selina because you guys don't know a shit about cooking, and why didn't our miraculouses fade away with us? I could've done something to come back earlier"
"Stop it!" He said grabbing her shoulders "you've done the best you could And what really matters is that you're home"
"Oh and you've gotten soft." She gave him a teary smile before Pouncing on him, giving him a bear hug.
He wrapped his arms around her small body, rocking her back and forth questioning "Do you really think I'm Muscular and pretty"
"No!" Marinette squeaked quickly as she pulled away from their hug "I'm just really tired, and floating in space is really exhausting"
"Mm-hmm, sure" he smiled pecking her cheek, which made Marinette melt on the insides "you hungry?"
"Do you even know how to cook?" Marinette asked
"Hey, we learnt a thing or two when you guys disappeared." Damian chuckled, pulling Marinette to her feet while looking at his brothers questioningly, who were busy wrestling on the couch "You idiots need anything from the kitchen?"
"Yesss" Dick grinned "I want cereal."
"Noodles please!"
"Same here!"
                                                           ...
So how was the it ?....
Okkkk, I know it was pretty lame and all, The only reason I posted this was because I've had this draft for some time and I didn't have the heart to delete it because that would mean I only wasted my time. Soooooo I posted it. Kill me. My dignity is dead, I've got nothin to lose.

STRANDED IN TIME (M. F.) 2/?
Matthew Fairchild x Lost Herondale! Reader
Y/N Herondale gets her just deserts when snooping in Cirenworth's attic sends her back over 100 years.
Tumblr media
An indeterminate amount of time passed as you drifted in and out of consciousness. You recalled a silent brother standing over you, buts of hushed and worried conversation, and one occasion when you woke to Tessa sitting by your side, a cold cloth on your forehead and her mixing a tincture by your bedside.
You couldn't bring yourself to speak in your current state, but remembered vaguely that Tessa excelled in healing magic. You tried to reach out to her, but found you lost consciousness again before you could.
When you finally did wake without horrible pain, you found yourself in a narrow bed, in a cotton nightgown you'd never seen, but unmistakably in the London Institute's infirmary, the painted ceiling distinct.
What happened? Did Tessa and Jem take you here because you had been sick? Was Kit okay? Where was everyone? These questions pounded in your head as you stood from the bed, and cautiously padded to the double doors leading to the hallway. You opened the door to look out, but found Tessa and two people you didn't know - one being the man who had carried you - talking outside the door. They all looked to you, pausing, and then Tessa exclaimed, "Oh goodness, you're awake at last."
"I- what happened? Where's Kit? Why are we in London?" You asked, looking rapidly from person to person.
"You should have a seat, if you're able." said the other person - a petite woman of perhaps 40 or 50.
"What's going on?" you asked again, increasingly alarmed. "Is Kit okay? Where's my brother? I want to see him!"
"I'm sure we can help you find your brother as soon as we know who you are." The taller man assured you.
You looked again to Tessa, exasperated. "Tessa, what's going on? You know me, I- Kit and I live with you and Jem and Mina in Devonshire." Your voice started to wobble as panic set in.
"I- I'm sorry, I don't think that we've ever met before now." Tessa said, her face earnestly confused.
Tears spilled over your cheeks as you looked desperately to the other two adults.
"I'm Y/N Herondale." You choked out. "My little brother is Kit, you took us in after our dad was killed. We used to live in Los Angeles but we moved here after the Cohort - Tessa, please, you have to remember me."
At the name Herondale, all parties looked shocked and concerned. You cried earnestly now, shocked and panicked and feeling like you were living in a waking nightmare. You didn't pay much mind as they sheparded you into a chair in the infirmary, and the man called for tea from the kitchen. A blanket was draped around your shoulders, lest you go into shock, and when tea was pressed into your hands you finally ceased crying.
"Now," Tessa said softly, seated beside you and across from the others, "Why don't you tell us from the beginning what you remember, Y/N."
With a shuddering breath, you began. "My name is Y/N Herondale. My dad was Johnny Rook, and my mother was Rosemary Herondale. My mom died before I can remember, and only a bit after my brother Kit was born. We grew up with mundanes were always told we just had the true sight and to be quiet about it, until the day demons attacked my dad at our house, and Kit and I barely escaped with Jem Carstairs and -" you looked to Tessa, "You. We lived in the Los Angeles Institute for a bit, but eventually we decided to go to England with you and Jem when you offered - you said it was because we were the lost Herondale siblings, and that you owed a debt to the Herondales."
You looked to the man and woman across from you, silently imploring if you should continue. The man, who's black hair was flecked with gray and who's blue eyes mirrored your own, cleared his throat.
"Y/N, my name is William Herondale, and this is my wife, Tessa Herondale. And next to me is Charlotte Fairchild, the consul. We don't know how you happened to get here, but rest assured, you will not be turned away."
You could have cried again for relief, but you steeled yourself when the consul nodded to you. "Do you remember what happened before you were discovered outside?"
You nodded slowly. "I was at Cirenworth Hall. Tessa - my Tessa, I guess - gave me a book to read and it inspired me to look around in the attic, and I found something in a box. I - I can't remember what it was, but I remember feeling sick suddenly, and then I was lying in the grass with Jessamine over me."
"You could see Jessamine?" Charlotte asked, and you nodded.
"Yeah, my brother and I could both see ghosts after we got our voyance marks. Some that other people can't see, too." You said.
Tessa and Will exchanged a glance, and Will spoke. "That would give credence to your claim of being a Herondale. The issue is, however, that the only living Herondales are myself, my family here, and my sister, now Cecily Lightwood. Our father had a brother, but he and his wife both died before they had any children."
"But his name was Tobias, right?" You asked, gears beginning to turn in your head.
"Yes, actually." Will said, raising an eyebrow. "How would you know that?"
"Because Tobias Herondale was my ancestor. He had a son no one knew about, and that son married a faerie woman..." you trailed off. "And eventually, I happened."
"That raises another question, then." Charlotte said, her expression speculative. "If you are a Herondale, and you bear marks, how is the clave unaware of you?"
"I think," you began, bracing yourself to be called crazy. "That maybe I'm not from this time, or this dimension. I think something I did in the attic sent me here, wherever here is."
"London." Tessa supplied, "July, 1903."
You stood up in shock. "1903? You can't be serious! I - how? I wasn't even born until 1997 - oh my god, Kit, I can't -"
"Y/N!" Tessa exclaimed, placing her hands on your shoulders to push you back in your seat. "Please, calm down, I'm afraid you'll make yourself sick."
You let her push you back into your seat, but stared blankly at the floor as your jaw worked.
"Is such a thing possible?" Will asked quietly to Charlotte.
"To have travelled through time? Not as I know it, but perhaps it could be a cruel faerie trick? It's known that time moves differently in the faerie realms." She replied, still cautious in her tone.
You brought your arms around yourself and hugged your sides as the gravity of your situation set in. Kit - oh god, was he looking for you? Would they know to look in the attic? What would happen to your little makeshift family? You heaved a sob, and the attention of the adults turned back to you.
Tessa - motherly Tessa - let propriety slip and pulled you to her side, and you clung to her for dear life. The consul came closer and passed a comforting hand over your hair.
"No matter how you came to be here," she said softly, "You are a nephilim, and you are displaced and distressed, and so you will always be supported at this Institute. We will do all we can to discern this situation, but you will be in good hands with Tessa and Will."
You hiccuped and met her eyes, seeing genuine compassion in them. She offered you a hesitant smile, and turned to Tessa.
"She will remain here until we are able to reverse this. I will confer with the Silent Brothers on this matter, and see if they know of any case like this. Until then, perhaps she will be treated as a ward of the Institute?"
Tessa nodded, her hold on you still firm. "Of course. We'll see to it."
Will went to see the consul out, and Tessa stayed behind, with you still holding onto her. "Y/N?" she asked, all gentleness and care in her voice. You wanted to believe this was your Tessa, the one who had become like a mother to you, but this Tessa knew nothing of you at all.
"Yes?" you said, your voice hoarse from crying.
"I don't know how you've come here, but I want you to know - I trust what you say. I have seen many impossible things, but still I am met with surprises. I also know that since I am a warlock - I am fated to live many, many years. If you truly were not born until 90 years from now, it's possible you know me in your time. I am sorry that I don't know you, but know that you are safe here."
You squeezed her, and managed to say, "Thank you. You've always been so kind to me. I - I'm glad I crash landed somewhere with you here."

Some questions were answered by a fortune teller as to why you came from another dimension; but the witcher was stubborn enough not to believe him and his intuitions. Tumblr media Tumblr media
You haven't seen the outside world; like you've been a cast in the 'Big Brother reality show'  that you were watching back at your apartment. It was a lot more different in their city; much more barbaric; lively but actually mirthful.
When you've arrived at the marketplace there where tons of people, absolutely crowded with all forms of life walking around. There were white tents where merchants have been selling their goods and a lot of buyers hollering for their attention.
You've remembered the night before when Cirilla has hugged the life out of you all night. She'd cried herself to sleep but eventually let the wrath fade away early in the morning; acting like nothing happened as she'd asked Geralt for her weekly training in swordplay before the morning comes.
Up all night and you couldn't sleep. Cirilla has offered her bed to keep you comfy rather than the table out in the kitchen. You've said your disagreement to the offer because of her status. She was a princess, so you've thought that sleeping beside her would not be possible. Though, she was persistent and asked you if it was okay to hug you while she sleeps even just for the night.
You've eventually said yes; but had to keep your eyes all open especially at the bothered feeling of your heart from the facts you've heard from Cirilla. Even adding more effect to your sleepless night was from a witcher who happened to went home before the morning twilight rises. His reasons were unsaid but the booming voice of Jaskier in the small living room was enough for you to know that he'd gone somewhere...fun, exciting and pleasurable.
Thus, that kept you up all night even more.
Your heart seemed to be a lot more bothered after he arrived maybe with a pang of a peculiar sting inside your chest that made you pout all through the night.
Nevertheless, you've ignored that feeling because maybe it was just a stomach bug that you've had since then. The morning after, you wore your winning smile as you've shown yourself to the men of the household with a beam you hoped that seemed to be convincing that you had a good night sleep.
But, Jaskier being Jaskier; he'd pointed out those horrid eyebags you've appeared to be nastily wearing. The Witcher had said nothing other than a wavering look which felt so different. So distant and withdrawn like he wasn't capable of smiling. Well, he had reasons not to after what has happened in his life and probably realizing how much of a baggage you are for even living in their home like you popped out of a chicken's bottom and gave them eggs to bear.
The connection lasted for two seconds as Geralt studied your face before breaking whatever overwhelming feeling that the butterflies in your stomach has been trying to say. He'd then avoided being in your presence and went out to feed his horse as he got ready for the morning activities.
Jaskier gave you both a look of wonder before you'd given him a reassuring smile like there was no uncomfortable feeling running in the veins of your heart. You were the best at it; faking a smile that is.
The way towards the marketplace was much farther than the way to Cuthbert's house. Obviously, because it was almost like a city or the center of the kingdom for the walk of life. You've walked alongside with Jaskier as Geralt had Cirilla on his horse.
It was the first time you've appreciated Jaskier's talkativeness because if he wasn't then the whole journey would've been serene and awkward by how the witcher was giving one word answers to anyone's questions or statements.
Well, he certainly slept on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Literally, because he'd slept on a different kind bed with a woman.
You've tried sparking up a conversation; tried saying your sweetest good mornings when he was outside and talking to his horse, but when he'd felt you were there. It was like the wind changed and he didn't want you to hear him talking to his horse nor even breathing.
A simple good morning and how he was were asked; but a simple, lackadaisical answer of the word 'fine' was given to you; not giving you those enchanting golden eyes and just the wide statuesque of his back were shown.
So much for going outside to try and talk to how he was because he seemed to be in need of more people who cared for him.
You've ignored the way your heart fell at how he was putting up; acting like he wasn't trying to comfort you the other day when you were having one of those panic attacks you have. Here you thought, he was actually starting to treat you as a friend even just for the time being but it was like the world shifted and he was treating you like a stranger.
Maybe, you were right. Your presence was beginning to become a burden of his surprise obligation for even paying for your clothes and letting you stay in their home. As much as you've remembered that night, you would only stay for a day and leave to find the airport. But, the airport was nowhere to be found as you've finally realized how you actually magically appeared on a different kind of earth and in a timeline you weren't accustomed to.
You didn't know what to do. No matter how much you wanted to go home and leave the family you were currently living with; it was like you were left with no choice but to stay because you didn't know how to come home.
There was no coming back, as of now.
"Why, who's this small lass?" The feebly, doddering woman croaked as she accepted coins from a Kaedwenian child before she'd finally turned to look at you from head to foot, her expressions unreadable when she'd noticed how you've looked more of a hobo then their peasants who lived anywhere and had no place to live. Though, you were cleaner than the rest.
It was like there was a garage sale in the marketplace; tons of stuff laid on the tables as you didn't knew what the uses of it were. Your eyes were scanning the things that laid on the table; one by one until your attention caught a silver necklace that had a leaf as a symbol and coral green stones wrapped around the linings of silver. You've picked it up and examined the jewelry; being charmed by the mere necklace and lately realizing that the stones were twinkling like no other; having no explanation at how it was twinkling or glittering against the sun like magic was consuming it.
"It's a fae," Babeth cut you off your reverie. You've snapped out from being enchanted by a simple necklace. It was a pretty one, definitely can be used everyday and the way it twinkled was strangely beautiful. You didn't expect for them to have these kind of necklaces, "---Serves as an amulet for bad luck that is bound to come. A sorceress has said her incantations to that necklace; keeping you away from ill-fate,"
Babeth gave a weak smile, the wrinkles on her face thoroughly evident as she continues to mindlessly fix her goods in front of you. You blinked back at her, a beam raising your lips as you tried to get a good look at her, "A fae, ma'am--??"
The woman has completed your sentence for you, raising her gaze to meet your eyes and noticed it was a beautiful, light forest green, "You can call me Babeth, Elfin!" she sweetly yelled over the loud chatters of the crowd.
She suddenly gestured behind you, nodding her head as her smile widened, eyes also twinkling like how bright her smile have been; like she was happy with her life and family, with no worries. "What's your connection in being a travel companion with a witcher, elfin?"
You blinked out of surprise, betwixt and between turning half your body around when you've felt Geralt's presence looming behind you. You've resisted the urge to face him and just stared at Babeth instead, ignoring the fact that he was already staring at your head; longer than he ever did since this morning. However, you didn't know he was even looking.
"Ughm," you hesitatingly started, thinking of another statement other than saying that you were figuratively an alien in their world. The witcher wanted to save you from saying anything weird that can get them speculating that you weren't from their world and tried to butt in,  "She's---"
Jaskier came to your aid; despite of not asking any help because you certainly didn't need saving in anything. He'd slid beside you with a more added effect and subtly wrapped an arm around you, in between you and the witcher who was sky scraping from behind.
"Geralt's destiny," the bard confidently finished for you both with a dramatic gesture of his free hand; giving Babeth a smolder when he did open his mouth to utter lies at the sweet, old woman.
Geralt's attention went straight to Jaskier's arm wrapped around you; lately becoming aware of what he managed to tell the merchant. It made him growl beneath his chest, giving the bard a scowl from behind. But, it seems as if Jaskier's persistence didn't falter as he continued to smile at the seller before them.
"Bard," Geralt roughly scolded with his jaw tensing.
Babeth's facial expressions seemed to even be happier, if that was even possible. Finding the news thrilling and exciting for her to hear; her eyes lit up like fireworks in the sky, "Oh! A lover!" she gave a clap full of mirth, "---I didn't know when you'll become serious with yer' life and thought you just do yer' whores!"
Your smile wavered at the last mention of that word. So, he was also infamous for that. Probably always in brothels since Jaskier has always been saying. To make things straight to the point, Geralt was one of the fuck boys in earth. Typical men.
Well, he isn't a prince from the start so technically that explains it. Withal, there was no prince' and only in fairy tales despite that you were living in a fairy tale surprisingly.
You've felt Jaskier's hold on you grow tighter when you continued your explanation for the poor, old merchant who was smiling like she'd seen her favorite OTP finally be together, "Oh--Babeth--I'm not--" a loud cough erupted out of your throat as the bard scooted closer, his arm now around your neck as he added pressure like he was choking you, "Ja-Jaskier!" your eyes bulged out of your eye sockets, grabbing onto his arm and violently clawing them away.
The merchant went on with that adorable smile of hers, never guessing if you were both playing nor trying to kill each other already. Jaskier was smart enough to distract your loud huffs of breath through his fake laugh; topping those loud complaints of yours, "Oh! Hahaha! Aha! you know how tender...love...and care can change a person! Perhaps, got the witcher soft somehow!" he gestured with his thumb towards the Witcher who was throwing daggers behind his back.
"Is this your compensation because we've brought a Hirikka at home?!" you hoarsely whispered, struggling to get away from his hold.
The bard laughed louder before lowering his voice down and muttering in between his cackle, "I'm making it easier for everyone! Shh!"
You were close to biting his arm until it bleeds. But, you didn't want to ruin his very elegant and flamboyant clothing that you only see in the medieval period, "Well, you're not!"
Jaskier slanted his head to take a peek of your reddened face. Due to his arm choking and also probably the fact that he'd been trying to tell the merchant that you were Geralt's other half, "Then, why do I see a blush?"
The merchant waved her hand from the banters, giggling at the way you both looked like you were playing before giving her attention to a new customer who'd rudely demanded for her attention. Thus, it was the perfect time for Geralt to wrench Jaskier's arm around your shoulders, strongly pulling him from his back as the witcher sighed in frustration.
Jaskier tried to battle with his strength, though it was no use because apparently; the witcher was stronger. "Ge-Geralt! What?! I'm making everything easier by controlling your foolishness while you're being an utter boor!"
Their voices died down, constantly being covered by the lively noise of the marketplace. The boys were probably going to the Tavern they needed to visit as you were now left with Cirilla who was picking new dresses for her and for you.
She'd pick up a cute princess like strapless dress that will certainly reach above your ankles. Cirilla held onto the beautiful dress and showed it to you, her grin painted on her pretty face, "Say you didn't like dresses, Y/N?" you've blinked back at the dress like you couldn't believe it was real and actually cute. A satisfied nod was given to the child, "Well..That is certainly an exemption," you pointed out and excitedly grabbed onto the dress, placing the clothing in front of you to see if it would fit perfectly. It does and you couldn't help but think how it was normal to wear these kind of dresses without people looking at you weirdly like back in earth.
Cirilla continued her ransack through a hill full of different types of clothing and grabbed onto a red, sheepskin cloak that had the right length for you; adding it to the items that should be bought. She went on in finding more clothes that will fit you, "---Also, they have leather pants, boots of your size and half sleeved shirts you may want?"
You saw how concentrated she was with picking clothes for you to wear; like she was more excited to dress you up. However, no matter how much you wanted to buy those clothing, you understood and accepted the fact that you haven't brought your wallet with you and they probably had a different money currency as well.
"But, I don't have any coins for these..." your train of thought ceased; index finger pointing at the pile of clothes she was carrying on her child-like arms.
She gave all the clothes to an awaiting, smiling Babeth. The Ashen haired child patted herself as she was searching for something, "Cease the worry, Y/N!" the latter fished out a medium sized black bag full of coins, "---Geralt has it covered!"
You've had your face in a twist; screaming its negations over the fact that it was the witcher's money that was going to be used. Though, there was no use of a protest when she was determined and was a one word woman.
All the clothes that has been bought was inserted in Cirilla's beige ransack that was strapped on her back. You've offered to carry it for her as she'd seen Ethelia who hollered for her attention. She was also the same age as her; even as beautiful as the princess but she had brunette hair, hazel eyes with freckles all over her nose. Ethelia was as pretty as a picture; same goes for Cirilla.
One fact that you learned about their world was that it was full of lovely people and you were thinking that you were seeming to be out of place for it.
Cirilla informed you that she would be playing with her and the kids not far away from the tavern. You've given her a thumbs up but you were actually worried for leaving her in a place you didn't know and felt sketchy because of how it wasn't your ordinary; leaving you feeling anxious for her well-being.
Hence, the tavern didn't looked better as well. You were used to strobe lights, the smell of cigarette or sweat and the moribund heat that backs you away from stepping in a nightclub; never dreaming to come close to one ever again.
But, here you are; standing in the middle of an hostelry looking like the small elephant in the room as people who wore old-fashioned clothes and armor were staring at you like an alien. So far, they didn't know that you were actually one because you didn't belong to their world.
You were trying to find anyone you knew; even trying to look for a certain white haired man who seemed to be not in good terms with you for unknown reasons. There, you did saw him seated on the farthest end of the pub looking mighty with his sword laid beside him as he drank Ale,  listening to a man who appeared to be reaching his elderliness.
Geralt's whole being has ever been so ostentatious like you were watching a scene unfold from a television series. You didn't notice you were already observing him from afar until he'd blinked and slowly turned his head to you, eventually catching you gawking. But, being lucky at the most awkward scene of gaping at him over the other end of the roadhouse has saved you from your embarrassment when a well built villager wearing tons of heavy armor accidentally bumped into you; making you break away from watching the witcher. As the man bumped into you, his mouth was as nasty as he looked and tried to tell how peasants like you who had no crowns deserve to be sold to a brothel keeper because of how poorly you were dressed; also, probably because it was only your worth.
So, women were treated rather poorly in their era. Your consciousness talked back and gave you the reality of it all.
You were also lucky enough to catch Jaskier's attention and saved you from being sold anywhere.
As you sat down with Jaskier and his pixie friends that had elf ears; it was stunning to see a live fantasy gnomes sitting in front of you and drinking till their heart's content. You'd realize how survival was a difficult task in their world as the poor were treated like they were the lowest of the low and people with crowns were treated rather fairly.
Hence, living in their world can officially be a nightmare for you. A daydream of showing how much of a nightmare was to live back in the old times.
"So, this is what a bar looks like in the medieval period," you murmured to yourself as your eyes scanned the whole buzzing place. They were heathen people and there were loud chatters and laughter like there were tons of stories to tell; even the bard himself does as he was sat beside you; chattering with a man who weren't hobgoblins; but was sat around your table. "You sure Ciri is fine with the kids?"
Jaskier waved a hand to wash away your worries; giving you a once over as he smiled a big one, "Ow, shush. Yes she is. Stop being a mother hen and enjoy my singing out here with the lads," the bard grabbed onto his lute that was strapped behind him, swinging the instrument and actually hitting you on the shoulder before he apologized and started to strum a melody in which you've heard when he was trying to annoy the witcher who lived in the house you were in.
So, that's what its called. Toss a coin to your witcher. The bard already forcefully let you hear the song and you were pondering if people really toss coins to a witcher who slays beasts, like literally.
You playfully rolled your eyes at his attempt on entertaining people in the tavern, "Your singing sucks ass, Jaskier." But, it was actually just a playful banter because his voice was amazing, believe it or not. However, you weren't there to give him compliments and shower his ego after calling you rat for so many times.
The bard gave you a look of curiosity, his blue eyes sparkling like how the sun cascades through the oceans, "Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"
You tried the Ale that Jaskier has given you. You've smacked your lips a lot of times to taste it better and subtly noticed the bitter taste that it had more than a typical beer. It definitely had more alcohol content than a Heineken, "Bad as how Geralt calls your singing like a pie with no filling,"
Jaskier faked a surprise, stopping from warming up before he starts singing epics, giving you his war face and a coltish glare as he humorously spat, "You are certainly the living nightmare in my life for saying that!"
Jaskier's singing grabbed all of your attention. Thus, you were oblivious of a particular individual who was lurking behind you as he seated and talked to Durriken who continued to ran his mouth on the heed-detached witcher.
Durriken's ginger hair was shiny against the light of the sun that reflects from the windows, the elderly man shakily continued his story as he studied who the witcher was gazing at that even got him giving a damn when he ever does not, "---The villagers had seen the beast on the swamps in the south! Had my lads killed as they've stabbed it with their swords! It was a poisonous monster and wounded my people with a burn that could let ye' see their bones!"
The witcher gave a disgruntled hum, his jaw clenching like he'd seen something awful.
Durriken ceased his stories; sipping on his ale as he bluntly asked and ripped his eyes away from him with a knowing smile, "The trouble and strife, witcher?"
Geralt couldn't help but want to roll his eyes at the incessant accusations they had between the two of you; giving abrupt malice to your presence as you tagged along with them, "Why do people always tell me this," he gruffly mumbled to himself, finishing his shot of Ale in one gulp as he dropped the cup with a thud.
"Have ye' seen the way you look at er'?" Durriken's smile was unwavering as he could remember you from his dreams; like the whole scene was dejavu.
The witcher gave him a tight-lipped frown, sitting completely composed; but with his blood boiling for whatever reasons he doesn't understand, "She's been dragging me in to more horseshit than I can ever get involved,"
Durriken heedlessly caressed his goatee; seeming to be in deep thought to what his next words would sound like and if it will be better to be said rather than keep it to himself and watch the future unfold without alarming the other, "Ye' wouldn't be complaining if you realize that she's actually your destiny, Witcher."
Jaskier stopped strumming his lute after finishing one song; planting his ass on his seat as he laughed out loud with the villagers of Kaedwen. The adorable hobgoblins lending their elfin ears at the bard who had memorable tales to tell, "I've been the witcher's travel companion decades ago!"
You were unaware of somebody patting your hand like he was consoling you because of your consciousness was solely on the bard who kept on getting everybody's attention. That being so, you jumped on your seat as Jaskier hurriedly slapped the man's hands that rested on top of yours as it was laid on the table, "And---Hands off, Belerick! You don't want to vex off a witcher and have your adorable little body thrown in the swamps,"
The dark eyed gnome raised his voice to groan out his frustrations, caressing the hand that Jaskier has attacked; eyes exclusively on yours alone, "She's just so cute and my type!" Belerick mirthfully announced with his eyes giving you the hearts. You kindly smiled back at little guy, "Say, munchkin; wanna spend the night with I?"
A soft giggle was sent to the latter and it was enough for him to sigh like a man in love, "You're a cute one, Belerick." your smile softened as you saw him grin like a cutie pie and tried to reject his offer in a very nice way, "---But, I'm good for the night. There are other women out there who would want to,"
Everybody who sat on the table in a circle cooed. The spot light suddenly on you, "Aww! She's a kind one!"
The little guy irritatingly huffed, growling at his companions who kept on teasing him that he was rejected, "Nobody does, Y/N!" Belerick snapped with a bitter tone as Merek hopped off his chair and leaned his short elbows on the table; giving you a kissy face, "Aye! Maybe Y/N would want to spend the night with me a lots more than ye', Belerick!" Merek teased the other little guy who kept making a fuss, "---Cause ya' got a small dick!"
Both gnomes had their hands choking each other as they fought for your unavailable hand. You couldn't help but chortle from their sudden fight; entirely unaware of their intoxicated self controlling their minds.
Jaskier emitted a loud sigh beside you; dramatically rolling his eyes at the scene, "Oh gods, you are all signing your death wishes,"
Another giggle was sent to the people surrounding you, trying to infect them with your naivety, positivity and kindness; "You guys are cuties! Thank you for finding me...nice-looking, though I don't actually," you started again, looking at the set of barbaric men seated around you and Jaskier, "I look like a potato, boys. You need to get your eyes checked by an ophthalmologist,"
"A what?" Now was the time for Jaskier's brows to tighten.
"Ye', don't look like a potato!" Belerick and Merek uttered all together in chorus, giving you the heart eyes.
"Yet, you look a little different!" another leprechaun crowed named Carac. He had his medium length hair tied on the back in a makeshift ponytail. Carac paused for more added mysterious effect. Both you and Jaskier blinked back at him; unnerved because of how the lad was scrutinizing back at you like there was something wrong.
Until such time, he'd open his mouth and vaingloriously claimed that made everybody groan out in exasperation and utter cheesiness, "Ye' look like my future missus, Elfin!"
You and Jaskier blew out a breath you were holding; the thought of finding out you weren't from their dimension now disregarded. You've apprehensively giggled and pointed a finger at the little man giving you a smolder, "Oh, that was smooth." Carac pouted his lips more, wiggling his eyebrows in a frisky way, "Do I deserve a kiss?"
A nod of fascination was given to the latter. You've given him a grin and shook your head at his sudden twentieth century kind of flirting, "Very smooth,"
"You know, he can hear you right? He's a witcher, you oaf!" Jaskier gave the dwarf a look of disbelief before you'd suddenly stood up out of nowhere and drank the last of your ale. "I'll check Ciri outside," you declared and put down the empty cup after burping in a low tone and it was enough for Carac, Belerick and Merek to sigh like a boy in love as their eyes were trying to melt you down. Jaskier scoffed at how they looked and nodded with a smile as he waved you off, "Alright, try to keep out of trouble, rat. I'll follow you soon,"
Moments have passed and stories were told, Geralt has understood Durriken's offer as he tossed a bag of coins to the witcher in which he caught it with his bare hand, his expressions twisted in a way that can tell people he wasn't in a good mood. The real question here is; when did he ever looked like he was?
The bard was already off his seat, Geralt saw you went out minutes ago and Jaskier began to tail like a cat to the rat; even began to feel a little comfortable with you since this morning and it was slightly bothering him to no reason.
Thus, Durriken even had the chance to tell him things about destiny that even rattled him more.
"I don't believe in utter bullshit," the witcher spat to his utmost discontent, sighing as he does so. He was tired of hearing it over and over again. It even lead to having Cirilla in his life; he wouldn't want to include you as well. Especially that everybody who gets involved with him; enters demise without him knowing. It was like a link to death when one person even tries to want to know him better.
He was already having a difficult time protecting Cirilla and Jaskier from harm; it would kill him more if you had the plausibility to meet death without even coming home to your homeland.
"Destiny will always come to you, Witcher," Durriken cheerfully muttered in spite of Geralt's gloomy state; his smile never faltering, "---As much as the princess did,"
The witcher languidly closed his eyes; asking himself what he has done to receive all kind of destiny thay gives him a rough time. "Once...is enough," he seethed through gritted teeth. Annoyance ticking his features, "Twice is destiny playing fucking tricks on me,"
"It's been two years, Witcher. The elvens; they will never cease." Durriken announced as a matter of fact, trying to remember his dreams that he wanted to forget because it never fails to happen. "---Say, that elfin of yours isn't from our world, aye?" the latter added with a cunning smirk, "---She has created more chaos to our dimension. Opening a door to the continent which has never been seen before,"
Geralt's forehead creased a lot more to what he was saying, looking completely at loss. Never trying to look guilty that you actually really didn't come from their world. He didn't know if Durriken was just guessing or not and he didn't want to be cocksure.
Durriken continued, his voice lowering a pitch as he whispered; "---It is like a whole new era to the conjunction of spheres. Revealing unaccustomed beasts you haven't seen nor fought with, but has all been taught back in Kaer Morhen," he leaned his elbows on the table, pursing his lips as he eyed the witcher who gave him his unconcerned attention.
"---Her existence has created more beasts that cannot be slayed nor controlled. Warning mages, elders and sorceresses from other peculiar changes," pause. "---She shouldn't be here. But, your future has made everything possible, Witcher."
On the spur of the moment, the grandsire looked around as he was trying to find someone. Also, getting a gist of an uncomfortable feeling and a blurry image of his future. His ability already has certain limitations he couldn't control rather than years ago when he was younger.
"---Only one wish shall be required for it to be permanent," he suddenly blurted out of nowhere, eyes falling at the scowling, confused, ivory haired witcher.
"Durriken, you are talking shit," Geralt grumbled beneath his armored chest, a brow raising for the incredulity slipping through the man's words.
"I am a fortune teller, am I not?" Durriken boastfully affirmed with a shaky chuckle, "---When do I fail at reading the future?"
"Today, you are." the witcher mumbled beneath his deep breath, shaking his head at the fortune teller's intuitions.
Durriken was tapping on the table with his index finger as he looked away; like he was lost in his own world. The old man breathed a deep one as he closed his eyes and felt his temples twitching; trying to remember his dreams despite of how blurry in ended, leaving answers to himself that he couldn't quite understand, "Keep her away from a cunning queen and a greedy sorceress," he admitted with a whisper, "They'll know her existence and it'll bring you a much more unfortunate fate, Geralt of Rivia,"
The witcher studied him, waiting for him to laugh out loud for all the lies he had said. However, he received none and only a smile that tells him that Durriken was never lying from the start. His statements were processing inside his head; thinking so hard on how it was possible. You, a mere human who suddenly popped out of nowhere now had a destiny linked to his.
Impossible.
"Witchers are known to have no emotions," the ginger head, old bloke shared with no shame, "---Yet, I never believed that. You have been capable of achieving more, Geralt." he'd snapped his head to look out the door as a barbaric combatant or considering a root of the kingdom's military forces sauntered in; they were some of the people doing the dirty work and Durriken knew what was happening like he had seen this already, "---She is about to be taken as a strumpet right now by the Kaedwenias," he continued to fixate his eyes on the gallant who loudly demanded for Ale towards his older daughter at the bar.
Fate moves in mysterious ways. He'd believed that when he'd seen the witcher's future turn exactly the way he saw it; seeing how it molded and bended his beliefs like no other was a miracle. Durriken subtly pointed at the door with his thumb as he saw Geralt's face mask with aggravation, shock and disbelief. "---With your Cirilla outside. Yet, she has been saved by the purity and selflessness of your woman's heart. You owe her your life because your Cirilla was close to being captured,"
The witcher hurriedly stood up in a trice at the aforementioned warning; heedless of Durriken's smile that was filled with felicity and mischief; a mix of both when he noticed how Geralt grew tense; letting the fortune naturally go like he eventually does.
"---You will love her like no other," the fortune teller promptly delievered with sincerity. Geralt halted from drifting away, his wide-width shoulders on display as he never saw how the witcher's face was now filled with bother and perplexity.
"---Nevertheless, your beautiful destiny is always masked with an unbearable truth and thus waiting for a price to pay, Witcher."
