I feel like geeky turn on would work pretty well with luminous & ock 🤣🤣
So there definitely needs to be a third section to this, but I wanted to post what I had and come back to it later because I’m visiting my sister out of town and I cannot guarantee how much more writing I’ll do right this minute. Watch this space.
In the meantime, enjoy!
——
“You should really switch to wool, you know.”
“What?” It was a reasonable response; Luminous and the Doctor were standing some five feet from each other, both catching their breath from a failed spar, when she’d spoken up unprompted. It didn’t matter at all, but it had been really bugging her.
“Your sweater.” She gestured to the garment in question - a stray blast from his latest attempt at firing the generator thing had struck him head-on, and now there was a smoldering hole right along the left side of his front, protected only by the leather of his trench coat. “The way it’s pilling at the edges of the hole there? Not good. Wool’s better.”
“What are you talking about?” She expected him to strike at her with one of the actuators (finally learned the word for those), but instead he looked at his sweater and ran a startlingly large hand over the hole. “I fail to see why that matters.” The pilling crumbled under his fingertips, ugly and cheap. She frowned behind her mask.
“You’re a scientist, aren’t you? You should know material’s important. Whatever synthetic wool you’re wearing now is at least a third plastic - it’s super bad for the environment when you wash that stuff, and it’s, like, falling apart under your hand.” Why was she still talking about this? To keep him from losing his shit about the machine being down again? “Real wool is super flame-retardant,” oh, she was gonna keep going, cool, “you basically have to hold it right over a fire the entire time to make it burn, it can’t really retain it on its own. Better for… not setting yourself on fire, or like, inhaling plastic fumes. … because that’s plastic.”
He was being uncomfortably silent the entire time, and when the doctor looked up - goggles down - a single, ridiculously bushy eyebrow raised at her. Good lord, they were thick enough to rival hers.
A chunk of the reactor fell down some six feet from them. Luminous tensed, ready for anger, but it didn’t come. He was still just… looking at her.
“… I’ll keep it in mind,” Doc Ock said, and looked like he was gearing to add something else when red flashed through the ceiling above them. The actuators roared to life at the sight of Spider-Man, and Luminous straightened up, sighing. Well, it was weird while it lasted.
——-
“I’d like to hear more about that plastic you mentioned.”
“What?” For once Luminous was getting somewhere, if standing on and dancing between two actuators could count as that; it seemed today was all about the Goblin who was going head-to-head with Spidey, and the good doctor was merely along for the ride, perhaps to reap some undetermined prize for himself. Spidey had pointed Luminous in his direction (“dude, stop pairing me off with him, he’s exhausting!”) and now she was mostly just trying to keep him preoccupied.
Guess she was doing a better job than she thought.
“The plastics in that sweater. You mentioned something about the environment.” Swing! She jumped down from one actuator to another as a third tried to grab her; still not close enough for a punch, but she was getting better at dodging. It rippled beneath her feet, but she kept aloft. “I was curious as to why, seeing as I’m not one to just throw sweaters into the ocean.” Was this bait? There was no way he didn’t know this - wasn’t he some Nobel Prize-nominated science hotshot, once upon a time?
Another dodge and she was on the ground, shields up while looking for another way in and ignoring just how up he was compared to her.
Good lord, she’d never get used to his six-foot-fuck-off figure. Even if he had traded the cheap, burnt sweater for a much nicer black one, one that fit better as well-
You know what, maybe she did need distracting.
“You don’t have to,” she said, taking two steps back as he approached, then warping behind and slightly to the left of him. One actuator had been ready for her, and she dodged it barely in time before the other three were on the defense. He hadn’t turned around, head turned, one curious eye visible behind dark lenses. “It breaks apart in the washing machine. They’re super hard to filter out of the water, even with the really good systems, so it’s safer to just go for natural fibers. Stuff like cotton, linen, wool, silk. Those fibers are way easier to clean up and don’t fall apart so easily.”
“I see.” He turned all the way, then, and she took her opening to lunge at him. An actuator caught her in the back, and Doctor Octavius lifted Luminous up to face level, where she dangled like a captured kitten. He smiled at her, and god it was frustrating that she couldn’t see his eyes, and lifted a hand…
To tap her on the nose. She tried to swing at him, but the actuator pulled back, and flexing her back muscles did little to dissuade it from its hold on her. The doctor clicked his tongue at her in teasing disapproval, the smile never leaving his face.
“You know quite a bit about textiles.”
“Everybody needs a hobby.” Or a career, but if it were up to her he’d never even suspect there was anything behind the mask. In the moment, however, the doctor seemed to ponder her answer. The actuator holding her pulled back from him, and for a second she thought he might even put her down…
… until she was tossed quite unceremoniously into the air.
Fuck this guy, actually.

the boy from second period
nsfw. mdni. warnings: yandere behavior, stalking, emo oc being delulu, mentions of self harm, brief smut but you’ll most likely miss it if you blink lol, you get the picture.
author’s note: the yandere in this is just an oc i whipped up for the sake of writing some yandere!emo boy hcs— 😭✋🏻 but if i’m being honest, this is more chronological hc stuff. from where he first met you to now.
• elijah was never much of a romantic. in fact, he cursed the name of love…frequently. it was becoming more of a hobby as of late. he was exhausted tired of spending valentine’s day alone, having no one to spend time with during the holidays, or spending so much money on promposals or simply ask someone to a dance only to have them reject him…
— he swore that he wouldn’t lose himself and not develop some crush to save himself from the embarrassment of his affections getting denied. lord knows that he can’t handle rejection well, as he tries to open a vein every time he does…things were better this way.
…
…
…
• that was until a few weeks into his senior year when you suddenly moved from (your school name) to his: willowbrook high.
• he only knew you were new because in the middle of his second period, you came in with a schedule in hand, asking if this was english 11 with mrs. hadley…it was. of course it was.
— at first, elijah paid you no mind. he mentally sorted you into a category with how he saw the rest of his classmates. a waste of his time.
• it didn’t help that mrs. hadley decided it was a great idea to sit you with elijah, given that he sits at a table by himself in the corner of the room. he felt almost embarrassed when he was called out and it wasn’t like he could just say ‘no,’ especially not in front of all these people…so, he endured it.
• for now

• what followed were two excruciatingly long weeks for poor elijah. the only times you two talked were brief. i mean it. 🥲
“hey!”
“…hello.”
“how are you doing?”
“fine. you?”
“i’m good. thanks for asking.”
• …and then fate had a funny way of twisting things! aka mrs. hadley assigned a partner project to the class, but the catch was that she already picked who people were going to be paired with and shockingly (yet he could see it coming from a mile away), you and elijah were picked to be each other’s partners.
— it flipped his world upside down, completely blindsiding him because this could only mean one thing: elijah was going have to step out of his comfort zone and to be forced to spend more time with you, primarily outside of school. yikes!
⨯ . ⁺ ✦ ⊹ ꙳ ⁺ ‧ ⨯. ⁺ ✦ ⊹ . * ꙳ ✦ ⊹ ⨯ . ⁺ ✦ ⊹ ꙳ ⁺ ‧ ⨯. ⁺ ✦
• even though it took a little time, you and elijah started talking more, both outside and inside of school. it even got to the point where he feared that he had grown attached to you, but that’s just crazy talk!…right?
• he would even find himself stalking your socials to learn more about you as a person, so he knows what to not do casually bring up the next time he sees you
• he hated to pat himself on the back, but elijah has deemed himself as the first official friend that you’ve made ever since you came to willowbrook
— but this didn’t mean that he didn’t get jealous.
• you always had ideas on how you two could spend more time together such as giving each other playlists for song recommendations, going to the movies, things like that…but elijah didn’t like whenever you suggested doing something that concerned more than just each other’s company. crowds.
— he fucking hated crowds, mainly the school’s football games because it meant that your undivided attention wouldn’t constantly be on him.
— and it doesn’t help that you are oblivious to his blossoming crush on you and start to swoon over the cute band geeks or football players. elijah felt like a sore thumb, someone not worthy of your time…even though he knows deep down in his heart that you and him are meant to be together.
• if there is a point where he catches you talking with another guy, elijah will give him the nastiest look in all of existence.
— there are a few times where elijah has just flat-out lies to a few of your classmates and told them that you and him were dating just so they would back off. there have been lots of close calls.
• he’s one clingy bastard. he’ll admit that outright.
• after dropping you off at home, elijah will return to his house feeling pent up, and if that happens, he’ll l do one of two things:
use a sharp kitchen knife to carve your name into the thick of his pasty thigh. he will even make sure to cut a giant heart around it for extra gusto. and, yes…he does take photos of his beautiful work. he wants to send them all to you, desperately, but knows that they’ll only scare you off.
wank one off to some photos of you that you either posted or took himself, or into one of your undergarments that he was able to steal. still…his hand and your underwear pales in comparison to what pleasure you could give him. elijah wants to feel your warmth. cuddle you closely and whisper sweet nothings into your ear as he presses his naked body against yours.
• he wants you so bad…
⨯ . ⁺ ✦ ⊹ ꙳ ⁺ ‧ ⨯. ⁺ ✦ ⊹ . * ꙳ ✦ ⊹ ⨯ . ⁺ ✦ ⊹ ꙳ ⁺ ‧ ⨯. ⁺ ✦
• unfortunately, all good things can’t last forever. the time for the project ended and as expected, you two passed with flying colors, but this didn’t mean that you and elijah stopped contacting each other completely, but it was…different. different from what it was.
— elijah didn’t like that. not one bit.
— he wants to be your boyfriend. he wants to be your boyfriend. he wants to be your boyfriend. he WANTS to be YOUR boyfriend!
• he has even taken up photoshopping as a hobby, so he can edit him into every single photo you have posted. oh, he can’t wait for the day where nothing but your beautiful face fills his camera roll.
— well…more than it does now anyway.
• that’s when he had an epiphany. there is a school dance coming up. as much as elijah didn’t want to blow through his money, he knew that you were worth it. all those lovely conversations you shared with him couldn’t be for nothing, right? you MUST like him back.
• and that’s how he spent the next few nights, thinking of ideas for the board and when he finally had an idea of what he could do, he wasted no time in making it for you.
• when elijah got to school, he made sure to ask you in the morning since he didn’t want to be holding the board the entire day.
• but…
• you immediately shook your head when he popped the magic question.
• he instinctively laughed at this, but not in a condescending way. he just didn’t understand why you were doing this to him. all eyes were on him, not you. you like him back, don’t you, so why are you toying with him?
• seeing that elijah clearly wasn’t getting the hint, you verbally say that you don’t want to go to the dance with him which causes him to freeze up like a scared goat.
• you’re shitting him, right? RIGHT?!
you. bitch.
you’re going to regret saying no to him.

Bad moon rising III
Summary: After a nasty divorce, you and your family are forced to live with your Grandpa in the lovely notorious Santa Carla, California. Filled with punks, geeks, surfer nazis and apparently all kinds of creatures of the night.
Word count: 3.7k
Poly!Lost boys x Emerson!reader
[1] [2] [3] [4]
A/n: This chapter will have a brief mention of SA, so this is your warning! But, don’t worry because we kick ass, literally. I also love this chapter, because it does go a bit more into the boys protectiveness and yours and theirs feelings for one another. So please in joy:)
You awoke groggily the next morning.
Staying up late the night before at the boardwalk did not mix in well with your normal sleeping routine. Sun filtered through the blinds, the light casting a glow throughout your bedroom. You lightly stirred awake, tugging on the itchy sheets to keep last of your sleep from wandering away.
“Y/n?” A voice called out from behind the closed door. “Sam and I’ve made breakfast, if your hungry.”
A muffled ‘ok’ surpassed your lips, the sound of your mother’s footsteps fading from your door. You reluctantly got out of bed, your pajama shirt that you may or may not have taken from Micheal’s closet rested loosely around your hips, the waist of your shirts twisted around your body from last nights sleep.
Glancing around your room, you took in the multitude of box’s that littered the ground. Each having different labels from t-shirt and underwear all the way to cd’s and band posters. You knew that you’d have to empty the boxes at one point, and not fish through everything just to find a clean pair of socks.
You slowly walked out of your room, careful not to roll an ankle stepping over a box of shoes. The floor was cold against your bare feet, causing a soft chill to run through your body as you made your way down the stairs.
Soft clinking of silverware and scraping plates met your ears as you rounded the stairs railing. Sam, Micheal and mom came into view, each of them sitting around the dining table, their breakfast either already eaten or halfway gone.
Your gave them each a morning greeting, mom receiving a politer one than either of your brothers. Upon entering the kitchen, you made a quick plate, filled with plenty of eggs and bacon to keep your hunger subsided for a couple of hours.
You returned back to the dining room, sitting next to Micheal. Mom and Sam sat on the opposite side, a single plate pulled with just bacon and a glass of orange juice sat at the head of the table. Definitely Grandpas.
Though, where the old man currently was, is beyond you.
As you start to eat your breakfast with your family, the gentle noise from outside passing as conversation for now. Mom let out an appealed hum, mouth stuffed with her own cooking, hand coming up to cover her mouth as she began to speak.
“I forgot to tell you guys,” Voice slightly muffled by her hand. “I already found a job for myself.”
You slowed your eating, glancing between your brothers and mother. “Already?” You asked, lightly stabbing the yellow bit of egg. “We’ve been here less than a day, how have you got a job?”
Mom lowered her hand, smile still evident on her face. “Yes, well, last night at the boardwalk, I met a fine man who offered me a job at his store.”
“Fine man?” Micheal echoed, leaning back in his chair. “We don’t have to expect him around the house, will we?”
“No, no.” She waved off. “He is just a sweet man, who happened to notice someone in need of work.”
You shared a quick glance at Micheal, not entirely certain if the guy was just looking out for a stranger or more. Sam, on the other hand, was estatic for mom. Talking with a mouthful of his breakfast. “That’s great, mom. And, just think, when you get your first check, we can buy a TV.”
Micheal rolled his eyes at his brothers sudden accusation, you held back a smile. Remembering the conversation from yesterday about having no MTV to watch here at grandpas.
“We can’t spend our money on entertainment, Sam. We have help pay for food and bills, we can’t just live off of grandpa forever.” She told him, taking a quick sip of her orange juice. “Besides, a video store will not pay that much on the first check.”
“Your working at a video store?” You asked, even though she had just told you the answer to your question.
She gave a soft nod, standing up from the table with her plate and drink in hand. “Yes, unfortunately. It was the only thing that I could find in such short notice.” She then walked out of the dining room, leaving you with your brothers.
Sam looked between you and Micheal, a sad look on his face. “My god,” he muttered, leaning back in his chair with defeat. “We’re going to be living in the streets by the end of the summer.”
You kicked him beneath the table, earning a pained noise to pass his lips.
After breakfast, you returned back upstairs, gently closing your bedroom door behind you. Kicking an empty box out of your way as you sat down on your bed. Out of the corner of your eye, the sun bounced off of a square object, the light shining in your face.
Turning in the direction, you eyed the cd from last night. The same one that the bleach blonde slipped into your back pocket. Reaching over, you picked up the object, twisting it around in your hand as you read the song listings for the cd.
You pondered with the disk in hand, gently tapping it against your palm as you eyed your cd player. A pair of headphones hung on top of the device, eagerly waiting to be played.
A tired sigh passing your lips as you opened the plastic case. You weren’t one to judge people’s music, often giving each genre a try before making a conclusion on it. But, stolen music was something that’d you’d happily judge.
Placing the disk into the appropriate slot, you pressed play on the cd player. The music played through the headphones, the padded material fitting snug against your ears. You laid out on your bed, letting the music calm you, despite the punk metal flowing through your head.
You hadn’t seen the four boys over the past week at the boardwalk. Well, you did see them, anyone could see them. But, they were always driving away on their bikes or terrifying some tourists that got to close to them.
You also didn’t know what to say to them, it wasn’t like you were friends with any of them. So, you just stuck to the side when they would get too close or change directions entirely, not wanting to be noticed by the leatherback motorcyclists.
But, you were noticed.
They knew when you were near, and they knew when you would hide away in a random shop when they’d passed by. To them it was hilarious, this girl that they’d barley known was doing everything in her power to keep herself hidden from them.
It wasn’t like it was something new to them, plenty of people dodged their presence when around them. Often, giving them a clear path to walk along the boardwalk.
Though, whenever they would catch the sweet odor of your perfume, or the soft beating of your heart. Their feet would follow after you, trailing a good distance behind to not alarm you of their presence.
And it was like they couldn’t stop when they would catch your smell in a crowd.
It was something deep down that made them follow after you, something deep within their cold body’s that tethered them with you. They all felt it, that odd pull when one of them would spot you. But, none of them would speak out loud about it, not knowing how to ask what it was or why it was you.
They just knew that the pull they’d fell would softly strengthen itself they closer they were to you. And a small part of them was curious of what it could mean.
You watched as the sun lowered itself behind the crashing waves of the ocean, soft pinks and purples mixing in with the night sky before it turns black. It was always mesmerizing how the sun would move so quickly, yet slowly throughout the day. Beginning and ending just as it had started, beautifuly.
The railing from the boardwalk dug into your forearms as you leaned against it, a peaceful feeling scorching through your body at the sight before you. You knew you’d have to leave soon, you promised mom that you’d be back before dinner.
Pulling yourself from the deck, you made your way over to the stairs leading down to the beach. Straps of your bag digging into your shoulders, as the weight of your items shifted. The only reason that you had brought the thing was because you’d wished to open your wallet a bit more tonight.
A couple of happy’s for your family and yourself. As well as your house keys, wallet and Walkman. (For when you get bored.)
The sand inched itself into the crevices of your soles, no doubt something that mom would get on to you about if you track any kind of grime into the house.
You could have just walked along the boardwalk, but you were growing a bit tired of the over packed people crowding around you. Too many sweaty bodies, and far too many noises. So, a nice walk along the beach would be the perfect way to end the night.
A small fire came into view, the light casting a soft glow around a group of kids that surrounded it. You didn’t recognize them. Not that you’d recognize a whole lot of people with only being in town for a total of two weeks, but still. Loud music came from the group, shouts and laughter erupting the quiet atmosphere of the beach.
You kept your focus away from the group, not wanting to disturb their own fun. Keeping a far away distance to not draw any attention towards yourself. Though that seems to be the opposite of tonight’s plans.
A sharp whistle came from the group, dragging you out of your peace.
You glanced over at the bonfire, stopping momentarily in the sand. They were a lot closer to you than the fire itself, maybe a few feet away than the couple of yards they were previously at.
“Where you running off to on such a nice night, babe?” One of them asked, his voice slur like. The nickname didn’t roll off his tongue like Paul’s did the other night, no, instead it came off forced and disoriented. Almost like the name was just a way to try and sweet talk you.
“Home.” You told him bluntly, taking slow but deliberant steps away from them.
An airy chuckle came from a different guy, “What a coincidence, so are we.”
“Please don’t follow me.” You said over your shoulder, picking up your pace when you realized that they were starting to follow you.
“Why not, you look like you could use the company.”
You didn’t give a response, instead kept your head forward, ignoring the calls that they continued to ring out. “C’mon, beautiful, this a way to treat a gentleman?”
An hand gripped your arm, yanking you back into the imbrace of a body. Two strong arms wrapped around your waist keeping you tightly in his hold. “I was fuckin’ talking to ya.” He told you, the smell of his intoxicated breath making you gag.
He pulled you closer to the fire, dragging your body as you kicked and refused to allow him to take you to their spot. The other guys had brutish smiles on their faces, finding the situation as a pleasant form of entertainment for them.
One of the men snatched your bag off your shoulders, tossing it near the bonfire as a couple dug through your possessions. “Let me fucking go!” You shouted, arms and legs kicking out at anyone who got close. Your sudden movements caused the guys grip on you to slip, your feet finally planting firmly on the ground.
You twisted out of the guys hold, his arms still wrapped tightly around your waist. And, out of a flurry of emotions, you raised your dominant arm, reeling it back before your fist connected with his nose. Hard.
A sharp crunch came from the man’s nose, and something warm and wet coated your knuckles as you pulled your fist back. The man let out a pained groan, his hands cupping his nose as blood dripped from between his fingers.
“God! Fuckin’! Dammit!” He shouted, words coming out choppy and rushed as he struggled to breath properly through his nostrils. “Look what you fucking did, you bitch!”
You bit your toungue, fighting off a smug smile. Now is really not the time to play around with these guys, but, you knew it felt good to punch him. The tiny bag of dicks deserved it. “I can see.” You told him taking a small step back from the supposed leader of the group. “And it looks like a shitty nose job, if you ask me.”
“You broke my fucking nose!” He was beyond pissed, anyone with an eye could see that. He pointed a finger at you, blood dripping from the tip. “I’ll fucking kill you.”
God, this guy has a nasty mouth on him. He gets punched one time and it’s all fucking this and fucking that. His mama needs to teach himself some manners.
You opened you mouth to tell him, ready to snatch your bag back and take off towards grandpas, when a reflective object caught your eye. Glancing over at the man’s hand you saw a knife clutched tightly in his right hand, his fist slightly shaking for how hard his grip was.
Holy shit.
He really is gonna kill you.
Turning swiftly on your foot, you tried to manuver out of the outstretched hands grabbing at you. Sprinting on the sand, you felt as the tiny rocks slowed you down. Everytime you pushed off, your foot slowly sank down into the beach’s bay.
Holy shit.
A hand gripped your hair, tight. Your scalp burning as you get yanked back and thrown down on the ground. A yelp slipped past your lips when your upper body hits the floor, the air vacating your lungs.
You tried to lift your body up, tried to run, tried to scream for help. But, there were suddenly hands everywhere, holding you down on your back, arms and legs pinned down as the man you’d punched leaned over you.
“You know,” he started, twisting his knife in his palm. “It’d be a real shame for me to fuck up your face, because, well, you sure do got a pretty one.” He trailed his hand over your face, blood trailing behind as he did so.
“Burn in fucking hell!” You shouted, putting as much strength as you could muster to try and shove off the ones holding you down.
A nasty sneer rested on his lips, “But such a shitty attitude, maybe I’ll cut off your tongue, you know, keep you quiet for once.”
The guy pinning down your left arm looked up at the man, slight concern bubbling across his features. “Hughie, yer not actually gonna cut ‘er, right-“
“Shut the hell up!” Hughie shouted at the man, knife pointed dangerously close to his face. “Just shut up.”
He turned back towards you, the knife dropping down to his side as glared down at you. “I ain’t gonna cut the bitch.”
You felt air enter your body, feeling slightly better about the situation now knowing he isn’t actually gonna use the knife. But, you still didn’t know what he was gonna do with you.
“No, well just take her shitty bag, and I want just a little pay back for the nose.” Hughie brought his index and thumb close together.
You watched with wide eyes as he walked around you, stopping at the top of your head, kicking just a little bit of sand in your face as he did so. “Fucking slut.” He muttered, before he raised his leg and the heel of his boot came down hard on your face.
David sat on top of his motorcycle, the kickstand holding him steady as he puffed on his cigarette. The sun had set about an hour ago, the night fresh and just starting. They had plenty of time to scope out the crowd and find their next meal.
Out of the corner of his eye he could see Paul and Marko sweet talking a group of ladies. They’d be nice for a snack, David thought. The sent of their blood flooding his senses, but, they’d need just a little more to actually fill them up.
Dwayne leaned against the wooden railing, keeping a steady eye on those who wander too close to him and his brothers. Anyone that catches his eye would immediately steer themselves in a different direction.
The smell of your blood drifted around the group, drawing Paul and Marko away from the group of girls and back over to their brothers. Your blood was a lot stronger than usual tonight, they noticed. It was more out in the open than what they’d usually smell around you.
Paul was the first to notice you, a smile spreading across his face. “Hey, babe.” He drawled, watching as you came into view of the group. “Where you been lately?”
Though you didn’t stop to acknowledge them, in fact you seemed to walk faster to try and past them. It was slightly uncharacteristic of you, no snarky comment or a roll of your eyes. To say they missed it was an understatement.
One by one, they each stepped away from their bikes, sauntering over to your fleeting form. The smell of your blood grew stronger and stronger the closer they got to you, the reminder that they need to eat picking at the back of their minds.
Marko reached you first, gently pulling at your arm to catch your attention. “Hey, beautiful, where you been all week?” Though, you shrugged off his hand, barley giving him a glance as you tried to push through the crowd.
He furrowed his brows, slightly confused at your demeanor. The first time you’ve met you’d snapped at him for trying to take a silly vinyl, and now you wouldn’t even spare him a second of your attention.
Even when they’d see you out on the boardwalk, you’d always glance up at them, meeting at least one of their eyes before scurrying in a different direction.
He quickly glanced at the others, silently asking them what to do.
David brushed by his brother, understanding him without either having to open their mouths. He took long purposeful strides, the sounds of the others following right behind floated up to his ears. In no time, David was at your side. Gloved fingers wrapping around your forearm, as he spun you around to face them.
A witty comment danced on the edge of his tongue, the sudden impulse to hear a snarky remark fall from your lips egged him on. Though, what he sa made his thoughts stand still.
Bruises were found all around your face. A few rested along your jawline and cheekbones, but, the biggest of them all was the one on your right eye. The skin slightly puffed around the eyeball, making it hard to see clearly from that side.
A dark red was slowly but steadily seeping from your bottom lip, the sticky liquid had had found its way to the collar of your shirt. The fabric had caused the blood to spread across the top.
That explains the smell of blood.
Tears welled up in your eyes, threatening to spill over onto your cheeks. Your breaths became labored, short intakes and outtakes, eyes darting past the four men to your surroundings.
David placed both hands on your face, the feeling of his gloved fingers against your skin oddly calmed you. You placed your own hands against his wrist gently trying to tug them away, though, his grip didn’t seem to loosen.
“Let me go.” You said in a hoarse voice, the sound of it made an odd feeling stir in the pit of the boys stomachs.
You hadn’t even realized that the rest of the boys had surrounded the two of you. Each eyeing the small marks that littered across your face with hidden emotion.
Paul had reached forward grasping your hand in his, eyes trailing across the hills of your knuckles. A faint coat of blood was slowly drying itself up, blood that wasn’t your own. The blonde gently showed your hand to the others, discreetly eyeing each of them, a silent conversation threading itself through the air.
A weak sniffle sounded from you, mindlessly dragging their thoughts back to the fact that you were here right infront of them. “Can I please just go home?” You asked, voice wavering with emotion.
One by one they each gave a chorus of, ‘of course’ or just a simple nod. Paul released your hand, not before wiping a small trail of blood onto the pad of his finger. Keeping the scent with them as you left.
David pulled his hands away from your face, the cold touch lingering on your warm skin. They watched as you pushed through the crowd, hand gently pressing against someone’s lower back as you pass by them. An eerie tick crawled its way to the back of David’s mind, something unsettling and terrifying.
And it didn’t seem to mix well with the need to feed.
David glanced over at Dwayne, giving him a quick nod. The brunette mirrored his brother, neither having to open they’re mouth before he distantly trailed after you. Getting lost in the crowd just as you had.
Now just the three blondes were left in the boardwalk. Paul was softly bouncing on his feet unpatiently awaiting for David’s orders. Marko stood beside his brothers, fingers twitching at the sudden need to sink his fists and fangs into someone.
The faint smell of the assholes blood filtered through their noses, a soft trail leading through the crowds. Without glancing back at the terror twins, David signaled towards the bikes. The three of them straddles their own Motorcycles, Dwayne’s would just have to stay at the boardwalk until they get back.
They revved their engines, the loud noise drawing attention of nearby locals. Though, tonight, the people’s attention was the last thing that they were trying to capture.
“Boys,” David spoke over the rumble of the bikes. “Let’s eat.”
A/a/n: Ok, so, if anyone of confused by the ending, the boys went out to basically kill the surfer nazis. And, Dwayne went to make sure you got home safe before joining his brothers. Also, I felt like the ending was a bit rushed, because I haven’t posted in like a week or something. But, let me tell you that this chapter has been 90% done the whole time. I was just lazy to finish the other 10%. But, let me know what you guys think ;)

G/t recommendations:
Midori Days (Midori no hibi) 2005
The plot: Midori is a shy girl who wants to build up the courage to tell Seiji how she feels. Seiji is a delinquent with a heart of gold who just wants a girlfriend. Fate has a funny way of bringing the two together when they wake up to (a shrunken) Midori becoming Seiji's right hand!
G/t: Midori does remember what it was like to be human so she gets so excited to see food on a larger scale.
Midori’s size change isn’t really emphasized or acknowledged very much. Since Midori is attached to Seiji’s arm, you don't get the classic picking the tiny up to gain her trust scenes. But I love when Seiji holds/comforts her with his left hand.
I had mentioned this story to @racheyace and decided to make a whole “why the G/t community should watch Midori Days” post lol.
This anime is one of my favorite anime romance stories of all time, G/t aside!
youtube
The Manga vs the Anime: There are 13 episode in the anime and 8 volumes of the manga (85 chapters). (I have the 1st and 3rd DVD and Vol. 1-5 of the manga.)
I love the anime, it's freaking hilarious and high energy! I watched it first and it got me interested in the manga. I'd definitely recommend the manga more! The manga introduces more characters and has a more developed and believable relationship between Midori and Seiji. Not only are the relationships with the two leads more fleshed out, but most of the side characters too! Everyone has depth and motivations and it feels like their all decisions have meaning!
The time frame in the anime is just a couple of months I think, while in the manga Seiji and Midori are together for about a year. They become so close that the heart break and pain is believable by the end. I cried like a baby at the end of the manga and I felt much more satisfied with how it ended. They are both great, but if I had to recommend one, it would definitely be the Manga.
Queer Rep: The manga has a bit of queer representation! One of the characters, Kouta Shingyoji (male), develops a crush on the male lead Seiji! And Midori and Seiji help two lesbians accept each other's feelings. To quote directly from the manga: "Love surpasses sexual boundaries," this is said while showing a picture of Kouta.
Warnings: The anime is rated “13 and older” and the manga is rated “T+ for older teens.” There is some violence, adult themes, a lot of cursing, suggestive scenes, questionable scenarios, and (some) nud!ty (all bare chest nud!ty, but not always s3xualized). But I am honestly impressed, this story could have EASILY been a h3nti, but's a pretty wholesome story of young love, just with a BIZARE twist.
Where to watch/read: You can read the manga on whatever app you use, I use “Manga Geek.” I’ve seen it on a lot of manga websites too! Or find the physical copies from 2004. (If anyone has Vol. 6-8 pls let me know! I have been looking for them! 👀)
You can watch the entire anime dubbed on Youtube here:

Slasher!Josuke with Nerdy Darling? (Based off Scream)
Darling is a Horror Movie Fanatic, as she’s seen them all, from B Films, Foreign, Classics, Silents and the more Recent ones
Reader comes off as a Geek, but she doesn’t really care if people like her or not (She even works part time at the local Video Store) she’s kinda a loner as she has no friends at school
Reader is sorta based off Randy (I loved him in the Scream Movies and was upset that he was killed off in the Sequel) as she takes pride in her Horror Movie knowledge
If Darling has a Stand, maybe it’s called ‘Mortician’ (Based of the Band known for their songs based off Horror Movies) maybe she affects her surroundings like a movie based upon the 3 simple rules she makes? (If you break the rules you get injured or attacked, but if you don’t break them nothing happens)
Josuke gets a crush on Darling after they were grouped together for a school project and realized Darling is pretty cool (She even tutors him so his grades don’t slip since she’s a straight A+ student at their high school)
However Josuke noticed Darling only shows interest in Horror Movies and Slashers, so what better way to get the girl of his dreams than by becoming a real life slasher himself?
I’ve been watching Slasher Movies on loop, including delicious plot twists so what if Darling is Kira’s daughter? (She doesn’t know about his hand fetish or about him being a serial killer) She doesn’t have interest being in the spotlight like her dad (This can be scrapped if you want)
Ooh this is so interesting I had to start writing. I ended up writing a prologue.
I'm going to set the main part of the story a couple of years post DIU (mainly to age up) but the prologue takes place just before with reader being 14/15.
Still thinking about the stand. Possibly being a stand that almost looks like a phone dangle charm on her phone that sometime gives out rules in the form of a text for a set amount of time (anywhere from an hour to 24). It's one of those self destructive stands (not literally but it's always screwing with darling).
Really loved the Kira daughter idea, writing that darling knows and is actively trying to hide it after his "death". In a way she ends up paralleling him with her need to hide it as it previously ruined her life back in marioh cho.
If you have any more ideas please let me know as I am really invested.
(Also an odd fact, my dad's bday is the same as Yoshikage kira's)
Sins of the father prologue
(Yandere Josuke X female Reader)
Warnings: mentioned abortion
You looked at the address you'd written down before knocking on the door. Your lucky your friend had offered up the cover of a sleepover to your grandparents as they'd be furious to find out what you were doing, but you needed closure on the matter.
There was a car in the driveway so you knew he was home so you knocked on the door again. Who exactly? Your father.
You'd never met him in person as from what you knew him and your mother had been at odds over the idea. So the most he did was sign his name on your birth certificate before the relationship had ended. About a year after your mother had visited him to try and rekindle the relationship only to disappear.
You snapped out of your thoughts when the door opened. He was definitely the same man that your mother had stashed photos of.
Blonde hair, blue eyes and sharp features.
He was probably wondering why some random middle schooler was at his door.
“Mr Kira?” You asked.
“Yes, that is me,” he told you. You looked oddly familiar but he couldn't quite put his finger on as to why. You quickly held out a paper bag, you'd gone to the effort to buy him a castella cake as a sign of good will.
“My name is (Y/n) Kira, I was hoping we could talk” you told him. He took the bag but he had a scrutinizing look.
“Is this about your mother's disappearance? I already told your grandparents all I knew” he asked.
Of course he lied, he simply told them that she'd left his house. In truth she never had but back then the villas hadn't been developed yet so no one was around to discredit his claim. Yet your grandparents had not believed such a claim.
“No, I wanted to meet you” you said and immediately he began to close the door before you wedged your foot between the door and the frame.
“I'm not asking anything of you, after this we can just go our separate ways… I promise” you said, desperation in your tone.
He sighed before opening the door again.
“Just this once, if I ever see you here after I'll call the police” he warned you as he stepped aside to let you in.
You came in and left your shoes on the shoe rack before following him into the living area. You sat down on the cushion behind the low table.
“Tea?” he asked.
“Yes please Mr Kira” you responded with a nod. You looked around as you waited. This was definitely one of the older houses in Morioh cho. tatami mats, sliding doors and hanging lights. Probably made around the 50s/60s like your grandparent's. Most of the houses in the town now were around tenish years old at most.
Soon he brought some cups and a teapot before sitting down himself and pouring the tea.
“So why did come here? I thought your grandparents would have been completely against you coming here?” He asked.
“I found some of my mothers belongings. After reading her diary I was hoping to get your side of the story, if you're comfortable with that?” you told him.
“Well I suppose you should know” he said with a sigh. Your gaze was just like hers and a small part of him was terrified by that, that dead woman's stare haunted him.
You rummaged through your school bag before grabbing out a piece of paper full of questions you jotted down.
He told himself to think of this like how he would any other interview. The sooner he answers your questions the sooner you'd leave.
“So first off, mom wrote down that you two were in the same homeroom in highschool when you two met” you said.
“Yes, she was seated next to me. I hadn't realized she'd had feelings for me til Valentine's day” he told you.
“Why'd you accept?” You asked. Now that was a hard question to answer. He'd been shaken after killing Reimi, a girl from the same school. He'd tried to keep his urges in check. After your mother had confessed her feelings to him he believed that if he'd had a partner maybe he'd have no need to ever do it again and she happened to have a lovely pair of hands. His eyes couldn't help but drift to yours. They were quite pretty too, he noticed the light polish on them and spoke up.
“I thought the schools had a no polish policy” he told you. You rolled your eyes, you'd painted such a similar shade to your skin hoping no one would notice.
For a while you continued to ask him questions. Until you inevitably asked why he and your mother broke up.
Another tough question, he had many reasons. He'd realized that his plan to keep his desires in check wasn't working, not to mention your mother's pregnancy had caused issues. He'd swore up and down he'd worn protection. At first he believed your mother had cheated but that was disproven. He never heard the end of it when his mother found out. She believed her son wouldn't have ever done something like that and demanded your mother have an abortion if true. In truth he'd silently wished for the same but your mother was headstrong and was determined to keep the child.
Eventually he'd decided to break up with her and at least fill out the birth certificate but that was it.
“It was complicated, in honesty my feelings for her washed away and when we found out she was pregnant, both our families had a feud over it. We decided it was best that I wouldn't be in the picture… I also wasn't ready for a child in my life” he explained, his eyes gazing upon his tea.
“Thank you Mr Kira” you thanked him, you knew these were hard questions so you appreciated that he gave you the answers. At this point he couldn't help but have questions of his own, as he couldn't quite figure out what type of person you were.
“May I ask you a few questions of my own? nothing too personal” he asked.
“Of course, it's only fair after all that I've asked you”
“What after-school club are you in?” That was probably the best way to gauge the person you were.
“Oh I'm in a book club” you replied, that was the same club he'd been in when he was younger.
“You like to read?” He asked.
“Kinda, in truth it was the only club that gave me privacy. My media interests are more on movies but reading the original sources are always fun” you confessed.
“Any plans after highschool?” He asked.
“I'm not entirely sure, I do want to do university but I'm unsure of what course to take” you told him with a sigh.
“You'll figure it out in time, I only decided what I was going to do during my last year” he told you.
It wasn't long after that you left. To go to your friend's to watch movies over the weekend. They had a large collection of horror movies that your grandparents would never allow you to watch.
Unfortunately your life would never be the same after your father's true nature became public news. Forcing you and your grandparents to have to start a new life away from Marioh cho.

"Oh, hello...! I'll admit I'm not much fun to talk to..."
AND THUS STARTS THE JORDAN AU :D @screamintoad <3
Em is a Yuusona, closer to how I act irl than I would in Twisted Wonderland (how I voice Rose). Her grandfather moved from an unnamed southern tropical region (because TWST has no canon Hispanic cultures >:( ) to the Shaftlands. Specifically, Jack and Vil's hometown (I can't find a name for it anywhere T^T). She grew up alongside the two, though when she started at NRC, she didn't interact with Vil as much due to his status and popularity; the limelight isn't for her.
She started at NRC a year early, due to graduating her previous schooling quickly. She's in her second year by AU present.
She's not super well known around school, and she prefers it that way. She only has a few friends, mostly partners from class assignments and a few dormmates. She spends most of her time outside of class in her room, working on a comic she's been writing with an online friend about a high-tech, magicless world.
Well, she has one other friend. Hornton, or Malleus Draconia. She hasn't told him she knows who he is though. He seemed so happy to just be Hornton the Gargoyle Geek, she didn't want to ruin it. Gargoyle 'Club' meetings were just the two of them, and it's one of her favorite parts of the week.
(If you can't tell where I'm going with this, they're a ship <3)

Transformers One Spoiler Thoughts
Please Proceed With Caution!
So I went and saw it three times in the theater . . . I hold no regrets.
There is so much I love about this movie. Was it perfect? Nope. Bee was honestly a little more annoying than I liked, though he does mellow out later on, but I think after the third time I saw this, that is my only personal complaint. Everything else I was satisfied with.
Orion and D-16 were perfect! After so many years of wanting an origin movie to hit the big screens, we got it! And I feel really happy with the results. The progression and transformation is amazing throughout the whole movie. But I'm better off breaking them down individually.
First off, Orion Pax. I really enjoyed him. Most if Optimus Prime's versions of him are very much a repeat of his first version. Which is nothing wrong with it. But with an origin story, I did have the expectation to have an Orion that wad very much childish and brash. He was so much more than what I could want (librarian geek) and I can't help but feel like this is just entertaining. I really loved him and I actually can't wait to see him handle the role of Prime.
D-16 . . . Megatron . . . Everything of him was perfect. His decent, his emotions, his motives. Its all so complex and visible. They could have easily screwed this up and just simplified his motives or cheapened his actions with a half hearted reason. But it all builds up and he just snaps perfectly. While I know there are those who feel like his choice to drop Orion was too swift, I kind of feel like they did give it the best breathing room they could. Granted, they could have lessened Bee's time and gave that to this moment, but I do enjoy how you can visibly see his inner debate. Fearing of letting him go, but resolving to his actions for his goal. The eye color is also a good indicator for his character change. Nice touch.
Elita honestly was a better support character than Bee ever was. Maybe I'm a little confused why they didn't have her be named Ariel and then change it to Elita one like in G1, but that is a gag for the series. She was well characterized in this, and I enjoyed her moments. Though I do feel like she is not as high of a priority in the writing in this movie.
The High Guard was a great concept, I love it so much! It really gives a great reason to set up Starscream and Megatron being indifferent to each other. Rivals forever sadly.
Mow there is word that a series will be made for this movie. Because of this, I have a few hopes. More details on the Primes, world building for Cybertron, and maybe a fun twist for the Quintessons. I also would like there to be no rush to get to earth. If humans are planned in this series, bring em to Cybertron instead of going to Earth. It would be more fun! Or just leave it to the fans. I prefer that.
I think that is all I can think of, if you wanna hear more opinions, just ask in the comments and I'll try to reply.

this is such a cute lil game 🥹
atsumu miya (and if I can do two can I also get suna rina pls if i can't do two then just miya is fine hehe)
1. what's their beach days routine (what do they bring, do they apply sun screen? any specific stuff you think they'd do/bring on beach day?)
2. silver, gold, or no jewelry?
3. what do you think they smell like (cologne)?
4. how would they react to a classmate being overly flirty? 👀
ATSUMU
1. the only thing he brings is twisted teas. that was a half joke, but he probably only brings like an almost empty thing of sunscreen and a volleyball
2. he doesnt often wear jewelry, but for volleyball pictures and school pictures he wears a thin gold chain (which is sooooo frat boy of him and i love it)
3. for a VEEERRRRRYYYY long time (im talking like 5th grade to 2nd year) he wore strictly axe body spray. and then he tried flirting with this girl and she shut him down using his cologne as an insult, so he started wearing stupidly expensive colognes. type of dude to have a cologne COLLECTION
4. he wants everyone to think hes some super badass, flirty womanizer, but really hes a total geek. he’ll flirt with ANYTHING but the moment u flirt back hes PERPLEXED. especially if u were super forward. blushing virgin.
SUNARIN
1. doesnt bring anything to the beach. if he goes with his family, he relies on his mom to bring sunscreen. if he goes with the team, he relies on kita (and he always comes through dw). and if he gets the wooorrrrssst sunburn he act like he doesnt gaf (he does and it hurts really bad atsumu pls stop slapping him on the back)
2. never wears jewelry, but if he did it would be silver
3. there’s this cologne called american spirit and i think it would fit him very well. one of those guys who ALLLWAYS smells good
4. listen guys. he wants to be super mysterious and like super nonchalant but if ur super flirty with him- he has no idea what to do. like obviously hes had a girlfriend or two, but neither of them were ever forward like u. so he just brushes it off and tries to return the energy (he fails bc he doesnt know what to say) and the twins def make fun of him
atsumu pictured here

Oh! Ohh! You’re the new folks! Howdy, it’s so nice to meet ya!
Ongoing event: N/A.
Welcome to the Master post for this lil blog!
Here, I RP an OC for the Roblox game Dandy’s World known as Dony the Geode. This doubles as an ask blog, and a RP forum for her.
Before we begin, let’s start with some rules! There’s bonus info of her just below the rules alongside a master post to all important links!
1. No NSFW, fetish content, or any of the kind. Sensitive topics must be spoilered in some form. This should be a safe space for everyone!
2. If you want to be identifiable yet anonymous, mark yourself as a specific Anon, or ping yourself!
3. I’m illiterate to advanced literate. If I’m brought into a RP, I can mimic almost all literacies. I’m just not good at formatting Tumblr posts, LOL!
4. Edit, just found out about one of the creators. This blog does NOT support them!
This blog is run by @justchalcedony!
Next up, FUN FACTS!
Dony was a Toon designed to teach others that it’s ok to have a hyperfixation or to act a little different! As long as you enjoy the geode in the rough you found, that’s what matters! She primarily stayed with autistic children and helped encourage them to be themselves.
She absolutely geeks out over Twisteds, and is often the one recording their data.
An absolute coward at heart. Can, and will, run for the hills.
Dony used to live at Floor 50 in a small nook. She recently made it up to Gardenview, however, and now lives in one of the spare rooms! She has yet to get any furniture, and is still just as antisocial, often hiding in her room.
Ever since in-blog events, she lives with the rest of her family! This includes Yella, Luxe, and the kids Bran and Buzz. Dony herself is the primary person who runs this blog, though!
Guides & Cool Posts made by Dony!
Need some of the small tips Dony has posted? Check back here! They won’t be 100% true as this is all in-character, but who knows, maybe you’ll enjoy it!

I actually misremembered who made the suggestion; this is @heyyoufriendthere (orange⬇️)'s fault. Plaintext with annotations below the cut.
This is the very picture of an intellectual rights fracas Comics will warp to be like films as fast as you can say "huzzah" But when a megamonopoly swallows up the competition It yanks our blorbos back and forth in an ugly retcon perdition When only Fox can make a movie about the Fantastic Four, The Disney-owned comic office will shove the Four right out the door Until the Disney studio absorbs those rights and then you'll find The comics are suddenly awful sorry they left them behind(1) Then in the instant comic fans begin to cheer an awful lot The news comes in from Bleeding Cool(2) the writer is that fucker Slott(3)
Oh yes when comics warp to be like films and leave you quite agaw This is the very picture of an intellectual rights fracas
When Disney didn't have the rights to film the X-Men and their friends The Inhumans were their idea to have that same magic again But absolutely nobody could give a damn about their deal There was a gas or something uh, the Moon? Nobody cares get real EXCEPT for Ms. Marvel, the only Inhuman breakout success They want her all over the screen at excited public behest Oh yes when comics warp to be like films and leave you quite agaw This is the very picture of an intellectual rights fracas For years the MCU was not allowed to say the word "mutant" They twisted themselves into pretzels out to recoup every cent The silver screen had two Quicksilvers purely for dumb spite reasons With roots in even dumber masturbatorial rights reasons(4) Wanda and Pietro had their sixth or seventh origin retcon(5) To fit the "No More Mutants!"(6) edict corporate decided upon Then Disney bought the M word back for 73 billion bucks (A number that should make you want to strangle all these greedy fucks)
Oh yes when comics warp to be like films and leave you quite agaw This is the very picture of an intellectual rights fracas
Now suddenly it's mutant city all over the comic line They let the X-Men start a sex cult; also they can never die With no need for Inhumans they admitted that they're pretty cringe And nobody will ever give their lore a proper reading binge The MCU made Kamala a mutant like immediately Faster than you can say "bad adaptation" or "brand synergy" In short order the comics gave her the murderization hook In such a hurry it wasn't even in her own fucking book(7) Now big surprise she's coming back on the fucking sex cult island They gave it less than one whole month before they played their fucking hand So Kamala's a mutant now(8) and got a shitty mourning book(9) Which when she's coming back NEXT MONTH you might call a pretty bad look
IT'S TRUE WHEN COMICS WARP TO BE LIKE FILMS AND LEAVE YOU JUST AGAW THAT IS THE VERY PICTURE OF AN INTELLECTUAL RIGHTS FRACAS
~ (1) "At the time, we were told that the Fox-licensed X-Men books weren't to be cancelled as they made too much money for the publisher, but the FF as a middling sales solo title could be missed without hurting the bottom line."
From 2014, when Fox was preparing its 2015 release of Fant4stic, until Disney's film branch recovered the rights by absorbing Fox, the FF were conspicuously absent from comics. The Fantastic Four book was discontinued for the first time since 1962 (for most of those decades they'd supported multiple titles at once) along with all associated merch tchotchkes. By 2017 there was a Twitter hashtag, #WhereAreTheFantasticFour. If you want to hear some people be driven slowly insane by this, Stormcast had a segment called Stormwatch where they analyzed any Johnny Storm appearances in a given month. We're talking deep analyses of single panels.
(2) I know I just linked them, but part of the joke is Bleeding Cool's weird place in the geek news ecosystem. They report everything first, so for the first week you know something you can't strictly confirm it's actually true.
(3) I don't have time to enumerate Slott's crimes but we hate him. Source: Dude trust me👍
(4) How A B-List Hero Became Hot Hollywood Property Fox could adapt him because they had the rights to all mutants, and Disney could because they had the rights to all Avengers. Some characters are both because the comics didn't use to care about this. This is the entire reason the MCU introduced a Pietro Maximoff and then killed him off. Like seriously who kills off one twin. No that was not based on any comic story.
(5) They're not currently Magneto's kids in the main comic line. Everyone hates this.
(6) This is a cheap reference to the comic storyline "House of M".
(7) They killed her off in Amazing Spider-Man (2022) #26 and none of her supporting cast was there.
(8) Kamala Khan to Return in “Ms. Marvel: The New Mutant”
(9) Look at this thing:
WHO are those anonymously multiracial teens and what are they so goddamn happy about?

A couple of replies, a longer one about fandom.
hadesdancehall asked:
BOKU NO RISOU NO ROI DE POISON DE WA I'M LOSING MY MIND OVER TETTERE!ROOK
YESSSSS YES YES I AM SO HAPPY YOU GET IT LOL Rook and Tettere are the same, the idea of this crossover was driving me crazy, I had to draw it. Look at him go, singing about continuously loving every single person until he finds the one…
Fun fact about this sketch: we have no idea why I drew Alte-Rose!Malleus there. It’s been a while since I drew this sketch, and I completely forgot… I guess she had to deal with this Tettere too, so it kind of fits lol
Anonymous asked:
I know you aren't really type to give information just gorgeous art. But in your last reply post you said you do traditional art and just coloured them digitally.
So I'm wondering... How do you do it!?
Because everytime I try to do that it looks so weird. I can't seem to get the colors as vibrant as I can when I'm only doing digital.
Thank you for praising my art! But Anon, I do give information :c I wrote a reply about this exact topic just a couple of days ago which is filled to the brim with links about everything in my art process + have a guide about exactly this topic.
Your colours might seem off for a number of reasons, it’s hard to tell exactly why by just guessing. It can be related to your software/display or directly to your choice of colours.
Anonymous asked:
Ryu, your dissatisfaction with Twisted Wonderland's age rating is very understandable! The game is allegedly a joseimuke game aimed at adult women, especially in light of the fact that this is a gacha game and that adults—who earn a regular income—will be the true target market. It's a little frightening that adults who play these kinds of games have to be so careful about how we express our affection for the characters lest we be labelled as predators or worse, p*dos. Making adult gamers feel bad for enjoying these "children" who are clearly meant to be adults. They're fictional, and most of them definitely don't look or act like boys their age. Some characters appear so mature; this really struck me as being university attendee coded. It's not like the ensemble is exclusively comprised of children, you know? The game revolves around attractive anime boys who are intentionally created to appear older than they actually are. Unfortunately, despite the fact that i enjoy Twisted Wonderland, it is the first fandom where i experienced Ageism in a fandom.
Trey is, if my memory serves me correctly, one of the most well-liked characters in the Japanese fandom (i remember there used to be a JP poll asking which character in Twist was the most loved). Most likely due to his personality, which again makes sense given that the majority of Twist users are grownups and Trey's portrayal of a character who, despite being a young adult, is quite mature.
Furthermore, even though I realise I'm going to sound like Idia, I detest how the "Normies" entered Nerd/Geek spaces after gaining popularity and then pretended to be uncomfortable with what they saw. You came to OUR space, dude! What did they expect?!
Anon! Sorry for replying late, and thank you! You’ve made so many very good points.
It really is an obvious joseimuke in how the game is written, how the game operates (the gacha system, like you mentioned) + even the type of merch that exists for this game. If you think about it, this is probably the best way to determine the actual target audience of any piece of media: just like Prince of Tennis is technically a classic Shonen Jump series, but all the merch they have is clearly aimed at adult women (purses, perfume, etc).
So yeah, even if that wasn’t the case, calling people predators over shipping themselves with Azul would be a bad thing to do, but in this situation especially it’s absurd to call people out for interacting with TWST pretty much the way it was indented…
What you said about the characters’ age and Trey specifically is so true. To be fair, this could be said about any joseimuke-like title with a big ensemble of boys, Prince of Tennis included. All the characters there are 12-15 years old, but god some of them look over 30.
I think it is important to keep in mind the intended age to a degree (= I dislike how the EN translation tries to dance around mentioning the boys’ age), and Twst does a good job at keeping these boys authentic when it matters, but it doesn’t mean that people won’t ship them with other characters or themselves. And no one questions it and no one finds it weird because it isn’t. It’s not that deep, it has nothing to do with how real teens look or act, this is a fantasy in people’s heads, it’s escapism, it so different and so far removed from the regular boring life it’s insane. It’s so difficult not to sound like Idia, SO I FEEL YOU ANON. Someone called it the moe factor that some people just don’t get. So I guess it really is about people being normies sometimes lol I wish they would leave already.

I am not attacking, I am just trying to understand, I promise. So none of you believe Jensen when he repeatedly says that he loves and respects Misha as a friend and you don’t believe Se Hinton, when she says that both Jensen and Misha are very close friends. Se Hinton has no bias for either j2 friendship or Jenmish friendship. So if you don’t believe your supposed fave (Jensen) and don’t believe someone who actually is more familiar with him than, Lynn, Vinnie or any of Lynn or Vinnie’s friend then who would who believe to make you guys realise that Jensen actually likes Misha and views him as a friend
Hey anon, going to try and answer this and not sound snippy! 🤣 These subjects tend to fire me up, so if I end up coming across that way, please know it’s not directed at you personally!
I’m not saying they aren’t friends at all today. I’m not saying they were never at least somewhat close friends. I’m just saying there has definitely been a marked change there in the past 5-6 years.
I believe it all comes back to Destiel and the more and more out of hand the fans got and the more Misha made inappropriate comments, the more uncomfortable it started making Jensen. The more Jensen denied the ship, the more his words were twisted to make it sound like he said things he wasn’t saying. I think that just caused a rift there.
You can often see it in Jensen’s body language when Misha is around. I’ll bring up that hug at SF this year until the day I die. Also, at the Geeks for Harris event, many people said Jensen looked like he wanted to die. He’s never quite relaxed around him anymore. It’s speculated that he was so stressed by the JenMish panels at a couple of JiBs that he got quite intoxicated to even be able to do the panels. Some even believe that one of them was possibly a sort of mental breakdown.
Something also has happened to where Misha avoids the topic of Destiel and the doesn’t make inappropriate comments as much as possible when Jensen is around. He only lets that loose when he’s alone at overseas cons now.
Of course, they are still friends with each other on some level. I just think that relationship took a hit. Even if they hated each other, it’s not like you wouldn’t see that anyway. Fan service is a thing.

Tbh Sicily and Italy in general are actually mentioned quite a lot in Greek texts, including mythological ones, and that's because South Italy was FULL of Greek colonies. To the point the Romans even called it Magna Graecia, that is "Big Greece". There are literally modern productions of Greek plays still held in the ruins of Greek theatres there to this day in memory of that heritage.
And while Ancient World colonialism doesn't always correspond exactly to later examples, if RS had actually developed her idea of having P and H bond over being originally from Sicily and P being ashamed of it, she could have easily found a way to use that to her advantage. P was supposed to be the naive country bumpkin coming to the big city and coming into her own there, anyway. Why not combine the two things?
She could have used the existence of different dialects of Ancient Greek to add a panel of Minthe and Tethys laughing abt P's accent and calling her no better than a barbarian (a "barbarian" was originally someone who clearly showed they were foreign bc they didn't speak Greek fluently) behind her back, high school mean girls style. Or toxic suitor Apollo mansplaining Greek traditions to her which she keeps trying to tell him she's already familiar with. Or heck, H showing an interest in P's life in Sicily and P thinking he's gonna make some rude assumption or lame joke but instead he just geeks out like "you ever met Archimedes of Syracuse? I heard abt that thing with the lever and I love it"... timeline's fucked enough for it anyway, and it would have been better than the pity part we got. Also RS seems to want a lil nerdy charm for H sometimes when she draws him with glasses, and what's nerdier than geeking out over famous mathematicians.
But obv, RS being RS, we only got said pity party and people making "mamma mia" jokes in response. Oh, and this post I remember reading somewhere were people were whining that Sicily shouldn't be mentioned in media abt Ancient Greece bc the poor, poor Americans only know it bc of Mafia so it makes the tone too confusing. Bc that's totally an ok thing to say. Also Americans should never be forced to check Wikipedia ig
Oh absolutely, I don't doubt that Rachel made Persephone Sicilian in an attempt to reference this, it's just really, REALLY funny out of context. Her being Sicilian really has no bearing on her character writing, it seems more like it's just an oddly specific thing thrown in about her and Hades so that they can have something to bond over (because they barely have anything else). Like that one time she anxiously twisted a napkin and Hades remembered back to the one time in the comic we saw HIM twist a napkin and he was like "omg she's just like meeee!"
Her being Sicilian wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if there was actual effort put into writing her as a Sicilian woman. But there isn't so it comes across as really random (and ripe for meme'ing on, even from people who are Sicilian themselves).

Everyone, meet Chal C. Dony, or simply Dony, the Geode!
She’s here to help teach kids that having special interests is just wonderful! No matter how weird they may be, there’s nothing like having something to love and hyperfixate on like a geode in the rough!
I ALSO designed a Twisted variant. Since most toons we’ve seen in-game based on rocks are animals, (AKA Pebbles) I was inspired to make the twisted variant more like a werewolf! Since geodes are rocks, but also crystals.
I love this lady so much…
Fun facts include the fact she’s based on helping autistic kids with big hyperfixation feel comfortable just enjoying what they want, and her idol is probably Rodger!
She, herself, is absolutely fascinated by Twisteds, and is your in-game tutorial guide for the first floor. She’s also the one that writes the data on Twisteds, geeking out when new ones are discovered.
Absolutely pathetic when confronted tho, so be nice to her!
Look forward to a QnA for her sometime, will it ever catch on? Who knows, who cares! UPDATE! It’s out! Come check it out!

Hope
~ Chapter 5 ~
Summary: Dean and Sam Winchester save a young woman —Natalie Johnson, from a coven of witches who are after her deceased grandmothers spell book. At first Dean doesn’t trust her, will he ever? Natalie is just simply a woman who gets roped up in the supernatural world from a mistake her grandmother made.
Pairing: Dean x OC
Warning: Age gap, slow burn, smut (not until the later chapters), language, gore.
Word Count: 2,737
A/N: Please feel free to leave comments! I love reading them. This is my last chapter for the night. I’ve worked all day on these lol
A Few Days Later:
Things had mostly gone back to normal between Dean and Natalie, or at least as normal as things got in the bunker. Dean was still gruff with her, his words often clipped and his tone carrying that familiar edge of impatience, but there was something different now—something softer beneath the surface. Maybe he'd been too hard on her. Hell, he knew he had. He couldn't help it. It was how he was wired—tough, gruff, always on guard.
He'd been the same way with Jack. The kid had never deserved the kind of crap Dean had thrown at him, and Dean knew that now. But it was his defense mechanism, the walls he put up to protect himself from losing more people. Still, after that blow-up with Natalie, he'd been trying—really trying—to be less of an ass. It didn't come naturally, but for her sake, and for Sam's, he was making the effort.
A few days had passed since their argument, and there had been no sign of the witch or the Dark Scroll—the cursed spell book that had gotten Natalie tangled up in all this. She'd been working hard, though, tracking leads and piecing together the book's history. Every time Dean walked past her at the war room table, she was hunched over her laptop, scrolling through old records, auction listings, and black-market websites.
"It's close," she'd said more than once. "I know it's close, I just don't have anything solid yet."
The Dark Scroll had a long, twisted history. Used exclusively for dark magic, it had been passed around for centuries, causing chaos wherever it went. Natalie's grandmother had been the last known owner, but since her death, the book had vanished—likely sold off with the rest of her belongings. Natalie was determined to track it down, though, and Dean couldn't help but respect her determination, even if he still had his doubts about her.
That morning, Sam had burst into the war room with fresh news. "We've got a new case," he said, setting down a stack of papers in front of Natalie. "There's something weird going on in a small town just outside of Lawrence. I think it might be connected to some kind of supernatural entity—a Djinn, maybe—but I need your help with the research."
Natalie glanced up from her laptop, rubbing her tired eyes. "Djinn? Like, grant-wishes-but-then-twist-them kind of Djinn?"
"Exactly," Sam nodded, sifting through his notes. "People have been going missing after making wishes at this creepy old wishing well. I need to cross-reference the town's history with known Djinn activity in the area, but I also want you to keep working on tracking down the Dark Scroll."
"Two things at once," Natalie muttered, stretching her arms. "No problem."
Dean leaned against the doorframe, watching the exchange with crossed arms. "Think you can handle that, geek?"
Natalie shot him a look, half-amused, half-annoyed. "I've been handling it so far, haven't I?"
Dean grunted, a small smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "Fair enough."
Sam shot Dean a warning look, but there was no real heat behind it. He was starting to notice that while Dean was still gruff with Natalie, the edges had softened just a little. That, in Winchester terms, was progress.
"I'll be in and out, checking with local contacts," Sam said, gathering up his gear. "Dean and I will handle the fieldwork, but we'll need you to stay back and monitor everything from here."
"Yeah, yeah," Natalie waved him off with a playful roll of her eyes. "You know I'm your tech support. I'll handle it."
The hours ticked by, and Natalie found herself juggling two tasks—tracking down leads on the Dark Scroll while simultaneously researching Djinn lore and cross-referencing local legends for Sam and Dean. She wasn't sure how she'd fallen so easily into this routine of remote support and hacker extraordinaire, but somehow, she had.
Sam had gone off to investigate the case, leaving Dean behind with her at the bunker for a few hours. He'd been unusually quiet, working on weapons maintenance while Natalie clicked away at her laptop.
"I think I've got something," Natalie said suddenly, her voice breaking the silence. Dean glanced up from the silver knife he was sharpening, his eyes narrowed.
"On the case or the book?"
"The book," she replied, scrolling through an old auction catalog from a black-market dealer. "It was sold off to some collector in Massachusetts a few months after my grandmother passed. I'm trying to track where it went after that, but... it's slow."
Dean set down the knife, wiping his hands with a rag. He stared at her for a long moment, his face unreadable. "You really think this book's gonna solve all your problems?"
Natalie frowned, not sure where he was going with this. "No. But it's important. You know that. If this witch gets her hands on it, a lot of people could die."
Dean sighed, leaning back in his chair. He knew she was right, but the whole situation still didn't sit well with him. His instincts screamed that they were walking into another mess, another disaster waiting to happen. But that was their life, wasn't it?
"I get that," he muttered. "I just hope you're not getting too wrapped up in this."
Natalie gave him a curious look, sensing a rare moment of honesty from him. "You think I'm in over my head?"
Dean shrugged, his expression guarded. "I think... this life doesn't give a damn about what you're good at or what you care about. It just takes. And sometimes, it takes everything."
Natalie studied him for a moment, her frustration softening. She knew Dean was still processing everything—Charlie, Jack, everyone he'd lost. She could see the weight of that loss in the way he looked at her, in the way he tried to keep his distance.
"I get it, Dean," she said quietly, her tone softer than before. "You've been through a lot. More than anyone should have to deal with. But that doesn't mean I'm going to stop trying. This book—it's not just about stopping the witch. It's... it's about my grandmother. I can't just let it go."
Dean stared at her for a long moment, then finally nodded, his gruff demeanor slipping just a little. "Alright. Just... be careful. We've lost enough people."
Natalie gave him a small, grateful smile. "I will."
Hours later, Sam called in from the field, his voice crackling through the comms. "We found the Djinn's lair. It's bad, Dean. People are trapped in their heads, reliving some kind of twisted fantasy."
Dean cursed under his breath, standing up and grabbing his jacket. "We'll handle it. You got the antidote ready?"
"Yeah," Sam replied. "But we'll need Natalie to monitor the security system here. We need to make sure no one else gets caught in the crossfire."
Natalie sat up straight, already switching gears. "I'm on it."
"Thanks, Nat," Sam said, his tone appreciative. "I don't know what we'd do without you."
As Dean prepared to leave, he glanced over at her, his expression still serious but no longer hard. "Keep us updated. And... good luck with the book."
Natalie nodded, her fingers already flying over the keyboard. "Good luck with the Djinn. Try not to get yourselves killed, okay?"
Dean chuckled under his breath, a rare sound that surprised even him. "No promises."
And with that, he was gone, leaving Natalie alone in the bunker once again, tackling both the hunt for the Dark Scroll and the Djinn case, her mind buzzing with activity. But for the first time, she felt like maybe, just maybe, she wasn't just a liability or a tag-along.
She was part of the team. And that meant something.
As the hours wore on, and the case unfolded in real-time over the comms, she couldn't shake the feeling that they were getting closer—closer to the truth about the Dark Scroll, closer to finding the witch, and closer to figuring out where they all fit in this strange, broken world.
But for now, all she could do was keep pushing forward.
Natalie sat back in her chair, rubbing her eyes as she scrolled through another old auction listing, her mind wandering. She couldn't help but think about how insane all of this was. A few months ago, her life had been completely normal—working as a cybersecurity analyst, living in her apartment, never worrying about things like witches or cursed books. Now, she was smack in the middle of a supernatural war zone, all because of a dusty old book her grandmother had bought on a whim.
It wasn't supposed to be like this, she thought, glancing at the laptop screen where she'd been piecing together the history of the Dark Scroll. She had told Dean this over and over: her grandmother wasn't a witch, not some secret sorceress hiding spells in her attic. She was just a woman who had an interest in the strange and unusual—kind of like the way people collect crystals or tarot cards, even if they don't believe in them.
Natalie could still remember her grandmother laughing when she first brought home the spell book.
"It's probably nothing," she'd said with a dismissive wave. "But it's a conversation starter, at least."
But now Natalie was caught in this mess—hunted by a witch coven because of that book. It was surreal and terrifying, and sometimes, when she was alone like this, she couldn't help but feel a pang of anger and grief. Not at her grandmother, but at the sheer unfairness of it all. If her grandmother had known what this book would bring into her life, she would've never bought it.
And yet, here Natalie was—tied to a spell book she barely understood and a witch who wanted it more than anything. Every lead felt like another dead end, and she was getting frustrated, though she'd never admit it to the brothers.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of Sam's voice coming through her earpiece, his tone tense.
"Natalie, I need your help. Now."
Natalie snapped out of her reverie, immediately shifting her focus. "What's going on, Sam?" she asked, her fingers already flying over the keyboard.
"We've run into a problem," Sam's voice crackled. "The Djinn's stronger than we thought. We're in the lair, but we can't get the hostages out. We need more time."
Natalie's pulse quickened. She glanced at the monitors, tracking the security feed she'd hacked into earlier. "I'm pulling up the museum's internal system now. What do you need me to do?"
Dean's voice came through next, harsh and breathless, like he'd been in the middle of a fight. "Get those damn doors locked. Keep anyone else from getting into this nightmare. We've got enough on our hands in here."
"Got it." Natalie's fingers danced over the keys, her mind focused and clear now. She hacked into the security panel, overriding the local control system. Within seconds, she had full access. "Okay, I've locked down the outer doors. No one's getting in or out."
"Good," Dean grunted, his voice tight with strain. "Now we just need to figure out how to kill this son of a bitch."
Natalie continued to monitor their movements on the security feed, tracking their progress through the museum's darkened halls. She could see flashes of movement on the grainy cameras—Dean swinging his machete at the twisted, shadowy form of the Djinn, Sam pulling unconscious victims from their nightmarish dream worlds. They were holding their own, but just barely.
"Dean," she called through the comms, "the Djinn's moving toward the west wing. You need to head that way before it traps more people."
"We're on it," Sam replied, panting with effort. "Just... keep those cameras rolling. If it moves again, let us know."
Natalie's eyes darted across the screens, scanning for any sign of movement. She felt the familiar rush of adrenaline—the same rush she'd always felt when she was cracking a code or hacking into a system for work. Only now, instead of stopping a cyberattack, she was helping two hunters fight off a supernatural threat.
This wasn't the life she'd chosen, but it was the life she had now. And somehow, she was making it work.
The Djinn was relentless. Dean and Sam were moving as fast as they could, but it was clear from the strain in their voices that they were running out of time.
"Natalie, do we have any other exits?" Sam asked, his voice tight with exhaustion. "We need to get these people out before the Djinn circles back."
Natalie scanned the museum's blueprints. "There's an emergency exit in the north hall. It's not on the usual maps, but I can get it open."
Dean's voice cut in, rough as gravel. "Get it open now."
Natalie hacked into the emergency system, overriding the locked doors. "It's done. You've got five minutes before the system reboots. Get those people out."
"Good work, Nat," Sam said, relief clear in his voice. "We're almost done here."
Dean muttered something under his breath—something that almost sounded like praise. Natalie smiled to herself but didn't press the issue. They were in the middle of a life-or-death situation, after all.
As she continued monitoring the cameras, she caught movement out of the corner of her eye—something darting across one of the screens. Her heart skipped a beat.
"Dean, heads up. It's coming back your way."
Dean's heart pounded in his chest as he and Sam dragged the last of the hostages toward the emergency exit. He could feel the Djinn's presence getting closer, the air growing colder and thicker with every passing second.
"Here it comes," Sam warned, gripping his silver knife tightly.
The Djinn emerged from the shadows, its eyes glowing an eerie blue as it stalked toward them, moving like a predator ready to strike. Dean stepped forward, machete raised.
"Come on, you ugly son of a bitch," he growled. "Let's dance."
The fight was brutal, the Djinn moving faster than either of them had anticipated. It lashed out with supernatural speed, knocking Sam to the ground before turning its glowing eyes on Dean.
Natalie's voice came through the comms, urgent. "Dean, you need to aim for the heart! It's the only way to kill it!"
Dean gritted his teeth, dodging the Djinn's next attack. "Yeah, thanks for the tip."
He lunged forward, swinging the machete in a wide arc. The blade caught the Djinn in the chest, slicing through flesh and bone. The creature let out a piercing scream, its body convulsing before collapsing in a heap on the floor.
Dean stood over it, breathing hard, his muscles aching. "That's right. Stay down."
Sam groaned from the floor, pushing himself up. "We good?"
Dean glanced around, the tension in his body slowly easing. "Yeah. We're good."
Hours later, after the Djinn case was wrapped up and the hostages were safe, Dean and Sam returned to the bunker. Natalie was still at her laptop, her eyes tired but alert.
"How'd it go?" she asked, looking up as they entered the room.
"Djinn's dead," Dean said, collapsing into a chair. "People are safe. Thanks to you."
Sam gave her a grateful smile. "Seriously, Nat. You were a huge help. We couldn't have done it without you."
Natalie smiled, feeling a little warmth bloom in her chest. "Well, I try."
Dean leaned back in his chair, rubbing his temples. "So... any new leads on that damn spell book?"
Natalie sighed, shaking her head. "Nothing concrete yet, but I'm close. I can feel it."
Dean huffed, but there was no real edge to it this time. "Yeah, well. Keep at it. Sooner we get that thing, sooner we deal with this witch."
Natalie nodded, her determination renewed. They still had a long way to go, but for the first time in a while, she felt like she was making progress—on the book, on the witch, and maybe, just maybe, with Dean too.
As the night wore on and the bunker settled into its usual quiet, Natalie couldn't help but think that, despite everything, she was exactly where she needed to be.
