A little new year sneak peek for my next fic that should debut sometime in the new year. To the select few who always inquires on my progress on the cop(sorta)x firefighter fic, this is for you! That original concept I kinda previewed never took off on the drafts so I altered my original idea and can happily say this one is far better. I’ve plotted it all out and started writing. It’s definitely my most daunting one to date plot wise!!! I’m very excited to finish and share hopefully within the next month 🥰🥰

There was something about reading The Mortal Instruments and Divergent and Hunger Games and such about teenagers/young adults who were really physically strong and at their peak but in a fatalistic way, where they were training hard and living hard because the demons would get them eventually that was very comforting to me as a disabled teen who danced 20-30 hours a week, knowing push was coming to shove. 

My body was incredibly strong and stable and capable and in pain. Now I’ve lost the stability. I knew it would happen. And when I was there, I understood the need for that kind of brutality in these stories through my own disability. Use it because you are going to lose it. 

Was this healthy? Not particularly! I burnt myself the fuck out! Don’t do that! But also, taking comfort in characters like Jace and Katniss and Izzy and Tris and Four? That was good. And now I understand why a bit more. Thank you, stories!

nbc hannibal is a romcom purely because the central conflict results from hannibal not understanding his feelings for will and being a total loser about it because he’s never had a friend or been in love before which makes him act so silly and do the most insane things that will interprets being framed for murder as hannibal having something against him (as anyone would), and this series of misunderstandings is not resolved until hannibal’s ex girlfriend and former psychiatrist tells will that hannibal is so in love with him it makes him look stupid. after that will does not hesitate to break hannibal out of jail and douse himself in blood which is this show’s equivalent to the protagonist running to the airport to stop their love interest from leaving the country and marrying someone else before they’ve had the chance to confess that they’ve loved them ever since they’ve known them
