Hey yalll...

The other day I was struck with the realization that I have an otherkin type...

this is my coming out as impkin post!!!

I'm actually thinking of making a separate account for posting about it, so if anyone relates or is interested I'll be reblogging this post on it when I make one :]]

But yeah, veryy wild experience going from having all "natural" animalistic traits to having very distorted and unnaturally sleek features loll

Together, all of you have helped me make a customized crochet impkin. Using the MASH method, I have selected each individual part based on everyone’s responses. So! Here is the following impkin I’ll be crocheting.

My heart goes out to my fellows. Though demons are varied, many of us are hunters, or creatures of war. While there are many exceptions, I am not an exception. I am an Imp. Oh how I miss embodying terror and frenzy. Claws sharpened on impossibly hard stone, cloven feet ready to crush. That mouth, like a sharks, but opened as a snake does; unhinging. I miss the spiral horns, as a ram's curling around the ears. And, an oddity to most demons bearing the title of "Imps," large ears in and of themselves. Large, side swept ears, as if you had taken a rabbits and flattened them, like airplane wings. I miss the eyes, the color of amber held to fire... But I most of all miss the frenzy, the terror. To cut, slice, and shred my enemies and prey, to devour them soaked in blood. I miss the speed, and the efficiency. A whirlwind of violence. I'm sure many will find such things objectionable. That is their right. I miss it anyways. I miss the frenzied fight... I apologize for the ramble, for even after it I feel so much weight on my chest.

Crochet Project 32: Bob the Impkin (Bits&Bobs)

I made another friend! My second finished Crafty Intentions pattern!

Named him Bob because I made him with pieces of leftover yarn.

This is an impkin from the book Crochet Impkins by Megan Lapp that I made awhile back. I saw a sheet that somebody made for using DnD dice to randomly pick everything to add to an impkin, so I tried it. This one came out very odd, yet still adorable. This little viking man has fairy wings, a beard, a ribcage, a bird tail, and a tutu.
