Day 1 in NYC ended with girlfriend and I having dinner at Junior's. It was after 10 and a police officer said we had to go. My corned beef sandwich was fye but Manny's Delicatessen in Chicago is better with taste, cut, portion size, and price. That time I went to The Upper House in Claremont for a quick lunch but found myself discovering a hidden gem. Located in a strip mall, this place delivered serious awesomeness. I ordered Orange Chicken 🤤 and Bbq Pork🤤🤤 off the lunch menu and it gave me a side of Broccoli and an order of Egg Drop Soup. I'm usually not a white rice eater but this rice was soft, fluffy, and delish with my entree. Great portion size, reasonably price, and very delicious. That time last Saturday when I was blessed to help celebrate a good friend's birthday @farmerkenofficial 🎂 We surprised him at an awesome restaurant/private home of Chef G and his lovely wife Lynn at THE RESERVED GARDEN. The meal and service were AMAZING! 🤗 It's BYOB and we feasted on the following courses: Jerk Shrimp bedded on on a Smashed Plantain garnished with Pomegranates, Pineapples and a Balsamic Glaze, Lobster Risotto (mines was served with Coconut Milk due to dairy allergy), Branzino Sea Bass with Mangoes and Roasted Sweet Potatoes 🤤🤤🤤and a Banana Cream Tart served with choice of Coffee, Cappuccino, or Espresso☕. A wonderful vibe, perfectly excuted service with smiles, songs (Bob Marley's 3 Little Birds), and friendly fellowship.
