I've seen a lot of people say that Jason Todd should be the first Robin in the Matt Reeves Batman-verse, and while I agree with the reasoning (Dick would just have the same problem as Bruce in the first movie, i.e. he's disconnected to poverty and the common people to an extent that it would make it hard to properly do his job, and Jason would be a good counter to Bruce's disconnect), I honestly think Steph should be the first Robin, not Jason.

Let me explain:

Stephanie is poor and lower class, just like Jason. She could function as just as good of a counter/foil to Bruce as Jason could.

Cluemaster, Steph's motivation for becoming The Spoiler, is essentially a knockoff of The Riddler. While I don't think he should be the overarching antagonist, having Arthur be inspired by the actions of The Riddler in the first movie could be a really good Steph origin in the Reeves-verse.

In the very beginning of The Batman, in one of the establishing shots, there's a very small Jervis Tetch/Mad Hatter easter egg. In some versions of the character Mad Hatter is known for targeting young blonde girls. You can see where I'm going with this.

I am so incredibly starved for Steph content. Please can she just at least have an appearance. Please. Please.

Now obviously they're never going to do this, because Stephanie Brown fans can never win (or get even remotely close), but imagine how cool it would be.
