like. for me it was like. youre a teen who sees your peers being fuckin weird about dating and sex. like. you get crushes too kinda, but these people are all over each other. Obviously that must mean youre just More Mature than these guys. Obviously.

over time, in college, you come to the slow dawning realization that no. Holy Shit. most people are kinda horny. like a lot. people were not exaggerating. and youre like What The Fuck. Okay. and you learn about asexuality and a lot of things quickly make a lot more sense. you dust your hands off and say to yourself Wow I'm Glad I Figured That All Out! and move on

and then. you meet a new friend. and cool, nice, it's great to have a new friend. but then after a little while things get a little weird on your end and youre like Oh Maybe A New Crush? and then. you wake up from a sexy dream ft. new friend and youre literally drooling. and horny. for a person. and you have to have a whole brand new sexuality crises to realize that You Do Not Have Just A Romantic Crush while you still have sleep crusties in your eyes and wiping drool off your face

I've been picking mostly only the essential flirt options with lucanis in the romance so far (I've personally found the dynamic much more natural and mutual when you do that, more like forming a solid friendship slowly and inevitably becoming something else and less like you keep pushing on him and getting little back b/c he seemingly just gets overwhelmed and goes into freeze instead), and I think rye is a pretty hard person to read at the best of times even though he's been Down Real Bad from pretty early on and their chemistry as people is naturally really good. so the way the almost-kiss plays out in this playthrough feels a lot like it has the added layer of lucanis realizing that no but for sure rook is flirting and not just being kind or a good friend* it IS actually happening it's not just wishful/fearful thinking!!! and then uh. maybe going a bit too hard a bit too fast in all the excitement at that revelation haha

*in lucanis' defense he has seemingly literally never had a friend who wasn't his cousin-brother before, under those circumstances I suppose some confusion is extremely natural if not outright expected lmao

I LOVE SABO’S NEW VOICE SOOOO MUCH. and honestly, i didn’t think i’d actually fall harder for sabo when i’ve already loved him to the max (my top 2 !!) miyu irino did an excellent job and i’m so excited to hear more from him!!

what i love about sabo’s new voice is how soft and casual he sounds. don’t get me wrong, i do like deep voices but… something lighter just seems more fitting for sabo. (and he sounds younger and more like his age since he’s 22) and it’s just so captivating/charming.

while i am a manga reader and do watch the anime as it is ongoing, with this new voice i’m able to capture sabo’s emotions and sympathy easier (? if that makes sense… i mean i have seen clips previously and he did fine but this one… i can feel his emotions better this way. but hey that’s just me!!)

don’t get me started on his laugh when morley hugged him oh my lord… an actual sunshine… AND IT’S AMAZING THAT SABO COULD EVEN LAUGH LIKE THAT??? especially after witnessing the horrors on his own (couldn’t save thousands, couldn’t save king cobra…)

I try to take the fact that people at work ( including at the courthouse ) consider me the official office fashion girlie as a mark that my mental health must be improving after the past year even if I can’t tell but then I remember the time one of our legal assistants sighed dreamily and told me she wanted to be me when she grows up because I’m “ the most put together and adult person ” she knows and I just started cackling half manically and pulled out my pill organizer and said, “ girl, it’s a LIE, do you have any IDEA how many meds I take?
