im so done with 'body positive' groups and comments - because the fucking SECOND anyone SKINNY is in the group, and talks about THEIR troubles with their weight an appearance, they get fucking SHAT on! 'oh you dont understand cus youre skinny' 'shut up youre literally the beauty standard' ' who gives you the right to show up here looking like that? fucking leave'

youre not actually 'body positive' if your just there to talk good about fat people and fat people EXCLUSIVLY. yes, fat people ARE beautiful, YES they deserve to feel good about their bodies and EVERYTHING, i assure you i am ALL for that! but if you start talking shit about someone who thin who has insecurities too, your NOT uplifting ANYONE, youre just being a dick.

'haha fast metabolisms' jokes and shit 'oh look anorexic' 'eat a fucking burger' 'youre wasting away'- these are ALL fucking AWFUL things to come from people who are SUPPOSED to be positive. I dont have ANY of the above mentioned disorders, AND i come from a family with a bunch of obese people on my mothers side - ive had these and similar comment from people who are my own damn FAMILY.

Im THIN because i have a fucking disease DISEASE that was, for a while, slowly fucking KILLING me, and i HATE how fucking SMALL i am. the smallest sizes of clothing i can fucking GET are TOO BIG ON ME - i am SWAMPED. but yeah sure, i cant feel bad about my body when i desperately need someone to talk to who, while on the other end of it, SHOULD and DOES understand my struggles!

instead of talking to me about their own struggles, so we can uplift and support, im just told 'dam i wish i could be as small as you' NO YOU FUCKING DONT! theres something to be said about the fact that the "music doesnt matter, punk is actually all about being soft and tweeting vaguely leftist things and total pacifism" posers whose beliefs line up far better with the hippie subculture, and how that correlates to the fact that a substantial portion of the reason punk emerged as a subculture in the first place was as a counter against the hippie movement cause a lot of them clocked hippies as liberal yuppies that were full of shit and had no real backbone about the things they claimed to care so much about. interesting...

also this might be hard to hear but if u are in a comptop situation and ur partner(s) don't actually know you want to bottom, if they're unaware of your true feelings, you're doing them a disservice and possibly hurting them when things finally come to a head as well. most people don't actually want to take advantage of people pleasers, esp during sex; maybe they're just being open and honest about their own desires and expecting that you're doing the same. like there are definitely abusive situations out there don't get me wrong, but i feel like in many cases its a communication issue and you (the one being cagey abt what u really want) are primarily to blame.

i know there's a whole melange of social forces that make comptop an issue mainly with trans women (esp those of us who have been victims of abuse in the past), and i find all of that very disgusting, in fact i lost much of my life to it. however when it comes to sex and its just you and your partner, you NEED to be truthful and open about what you want during sex. if you don't feel safe doing that with a partner, that's a sign that you shouldn't have sex with them. if you do that with a partner and they don't listen to you but still want you to fuck them, you shouldn't have sex with that person.

if you're going to be sexually active you need to develop self-advocacy skills as well as enough self worth to avoid just giving in to whatever your partner wants. if you don't you will end up hurt and you'll most likely hurt your partners as well.

just my two cents on the issue after having struggled with it for a decade.
