SCP Foundation Secure Document Item #: SCP-644486273 Object Class: Euclid Keter (Pending Revision) (pistiphage)
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-644486273 is to be contained in a sealed, observation-only humanoid containment chamber no less than 100 yards from the enclosures of SCP-999 or SCP-37326. The chamber must be composed of reinforced tungsten-steel alloy and lined with liquid crystal display panels to minimize direct eye contact. No personnel are permitted to make direct contact with SCP-644486273 unless under O5 authorization. Interaction is prohibited without protective psychic dampeners. Surveillance is to be performed exclusively via non-reflective optical systems; no direct eye contact is permitted.
Under no circumstances are personnel diagnosed with or exhibiting signs of mental illness, severe depression, PTSD, or dissociative disorders to be assigned to SCP-644486273.
Any personnel or entities taken by SCP-644486273 are considered non-recoverable and are not to be pursued unless an explicit retrieval protocol is authorized.
Description:
SCP-644486273 is a sapient, humanoid-appearing entity most commonly described as skeletal in structure, cloaked in a self-secreting, semi-liquid black sludge that appears to move of its own volition. This sludge does not separate from SCP-644486273’s form, though it is frequently observed "dripping" from its limbs, yet never contacts the floor, instead recirculating or evaporating midair. This sludge appears visually impermeable, though it emits a slight blue tinge when examined microscopically (see SCP-644486273 Microscope Log). The entity features disproportionately elongated limbs, notably long fingers, and a single glowing blue eye located in the left orbital socket.
SCP-644486273 consistently manifests with a minimum of four black, sludge-coated tentacles resembling those of a cephalopod. At uncontained intervals, it has been observed to grow up to eight of these appendages.
SCP-644486273 displays variable clothing, which appears dependent on the observer. The most consistent reports describe it clothed in unidentifiable, sludge-like material matching the rest of its body. Some personnel, however, report it appearing in a dark purple tunic, golden circlet engraved with a crescent moon, and similarly coloured boots and belt.
This discrepancy is currently under metamorphic and mimetic  analysis.
SCP-644486273 displays advanced cognitive ability and linguistic versatility. It consistently speaks in a formal tone, using what linguists have identified as closely resembling Middle English dialects. It appears to comprehend and speak every known language tested so far, including but not limited to English, French, Latin, Chinese, several endangered or extinct dialects, Arabic and Korean, the latter two of which have been used by D-Class personnel in its presence. Testing on further languages is ongoing.
It demonstrates high cognitive function, a preference for literature, and has claimed to enjoy tea, though has stated that “consumption is redundant.”
SCP-644486273 appears to prefer the use of masculine pronouns and responds exclusively to them. Attempts to engage it using neutral or incorrect terms are either ignored or result in brief hostility.
Behavioural Notes:
SCP-644486273 has, to date, passively “acquired” three D-Class personnel (designated D-644486273-01 through D-644486273-03) under varying circumstances. Each has remained within SCP-644486273’s chamber without signs of restraint or force. Notably, all appear physically healthy, despite receiving no sustenance, medical attention, or rest. No attempts to leave the chamber have been observed beyond the initial reaction of D-644486273-02.
The shared behavioural change across all three includes marked emotional flattening, heightened calmness, and consistent deferential language toward SCP-644486273. All three refer to the entity as “Boss,” with D-644486273-01 occasionally using “Master.”
Psychological profiling prior to containment revealed all three subjects share a common trait: each suffers from moderate to severe mental illness or psychological instability. Despite this, their current states exhibit improved cognitive control, albeit with signs of persistent low-grade depression.
Note: All currently acquired D-Class personal are consistent with the recent classification of Type-G3 humanoid entities (commonly referred to as “monsters” under the sub-race of 'Skeletons') and are no longer considered anomalous on their own
List of Known Sub-Entities (D-Class Designates):
D-644486273-01
Status: Voluntarily assimilated Diagnosis: Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), OSDD-2 Background: Originally assigned to SCP-644486273 for direct observation and risk profiling. Convicted of multiple premeditated homicides, including but not limited to murder in the first degree. Displayed manipulative tendencies and acute social intelligence during pre-containment interviews. Behavioural Notes: Refers to SCP-644486273 as both “Boss” and “Master,” with the latter used in a seemingly reverent manner. Demonstrates loyalty and compliance with the SCP. Frequently engages SCP in conversation, both in English and Arabic. Often observed engaging in lengthy conversations with the SCP in both English and Arabic. Subject appears mentally stable within containment and has shown no interest in leaving the SCP’s vicinity. Condition: Physically stable. No signs of deterioration or need for sustenance. Displays flattened emotional response and reduced impulsivity compared to baseline pre-containment profile. Routine psychological monitoring shows signs of persistent but manageable depressive episodes. Subject’s mood appears to stabilize in SCP-644486273’s presence. Note: Subject reportedly underwent sustained and intensive psychological manipulation prior to Foundation custody. This may contribute to high suggestibility or unusual rapport with SCP-644486273.
D-644486273-02
Status: Involuntarily assimilated Diagnosis: Schizoaffective Disorder Background: Entered SCP-644486273’s containment chamber accidentally during routine scheduled maintenance. The subject was not assigned to the SCP and had no prior exposure to its effects or documentation. Upon initial entry, exhibited acute psychological distress, including screaming, violent attempts at egress, and self-injurious behavior. Behavioral Notes: Following approximately 11 minutes of non-contact observation and vocal exchange, SCP-644486273 approached the subject directly. No signs of physical coercion were noted, but subject’s resistance ceased abruptly after a whispered interaction (see Incident Log 644486273-02-A). Since that event, subject has remained willingly within the chamber, showing no further signs of distress or resistance. Now refers to SCP-644486273 as “Boss” and interacts with both SCP and other contained individuals (D-644486273-01, -03) in a passive, submissive manner. Subject has been heard conversing with SCP in fluent Korean, a language previously unrecorded in subject’s Foundation profile. Whether this fluency is the result of intentional withholding of personal information or developed post-assimilation is under investigation. SCP-644486273 appears to respond in kind, holding complex dialogues in Korean with full syntactical accuracy. Condition: Physiologically stable. Subject has not exhibited any need for food, water, or rest since assimilation. No measurable weight loss or vital degradation has been observed. Psychological assessments indicate a marked reduction in psychotic symptoms and a notable increase in emotional flattening. Subject expresses contentment with current status but refuses all inquiries regarding the nature of his interaction with SCP-644486273. Note: While subject has not demonstrated any further resistance, he often avoids eye contact with Foundation personnel during observation, and occasionally displays physical tics associated with high anxiety when SCP-644486273 is not directly engaged with him.
D-644486273-03
Status: Involuntarily assimilated Diagnosis: Undiagnosed; exhibits symptoms consistent with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Disordered Eating, PTSD indicators, and intermittent explosive disorder. Subject has a documented history of childhood trauma and extreme sensitivity surrounding ocular contact or discussion of eyes. Previous psychological evaluations were inconclusive due to noncompliance and violent outbursts during interviews. Background: Subject was acquired under unknown circumstances during a containment breach in [REDACTED]. It is presumed that SCP-644486273 made autonomous contact during emergency lockdown procedures. Surveillance systems were disabled during the breach, and no visual record of initial interaction exists. Post-event, subject was found within SCP-644486273's chamber, unrestrained and calm, displaying none of his prior aggression or resistance to authority. Behavioral Notes: Subject interacts with SCP-644486273 frequently and shows signs of attachment similar to other assimilated D-Class. Uses the term “Boss” exclusively when referring to the SCP. Unlike the other subjects, D-03 is rarely observed engaging in prolonged verbal exchanges. Instead, he remains physically close to SCP-644486273, often seated near or beneath him, and appears to avoid Foundation observers. Notably, subject has a visible aversion to cameras and mirrors, and has attempted to cover reflective surfaces within the chamber using his own clothing. Subject demonstrates a notable decline in previous behavioral volatility, displaying passivity and emotional suppression. No signs of aggression or dysregulated behavior have occurred post-assimilation. However, psychological markers indicate persistent trauma response symptoms, including flinching, restlessness when alone, and avoidant body language. Condition: As with the other assimilated subjects, D-03 has shown no signs of physiological deterioration despite the complete absence of food, water, or standard hygiene access. His vital signs remain stable, and metabolic readings show no expected nutrient deficiency. He has developed a consistent pattern of lowered vocal tone and shortened responses when spoken to by Foundation personnel, in contrast to notably calmer and more compliant behavior in SCP-644486273’s presence. Note: D-03’s ongoing behavior suggests a heightened dependency on SCP-644486273. He has, on multiple occasions, physically inserted himself between SCP and Foundation observation drones or staff, particularly when the SCP is in a dormant or meditative state. It is unclear whether this is protective behavior or a conditioned response.
Addendum 644486273-PHENOM-A: Emotional Displacement Phenomenon
Ongoing psychological assessment of on-site personnel and D-Class entities interacting with SCP-644486273 has reinforced earlier findings of a pervasive emotional field associated with its presence. This effect varies in intensity, and while non-lethal, it presents a significant challenge to long-term exposure. Common symptoms include:
Sudden onset grief or existential sorrow
A sensation of personal failure or regret
Low-level but persistent dread
Occasional episodes of irrational anger or hostility
Involuntary tearfulness or chest constriction
Less commonly, intrusive memories, dread, or disassociation
No physical vector for these symptoms has been identified. Effects persist even when SCP-644486273 is in a dormant state, and appear strongest within a 10-meter radius of its core mass. It is hypothesized this emotional projection may serve as a defensive mechanism, unconscious memetic field, or unintended byproduct of the entity’s nature.
Psychometric testing on exposed staff has shown that emotionally resonant thoughts are amplified in SCP-644486273’s proximity, leading to the current theory that the entity generates a passive, broad-spectrum empathogenic field. It is unknown whether this field is intentional or reflexive. SCP-644486273 has not acknowledged this effect when questioned, responding only: “Grief clinges close to man, like shadow to the flame. I but reveal its shape.”
Dr. H. Al-Abadi Note:
“It remains unclear whether SCP-644486273 is amplifying existing emotional states or drawing upon something more innate, possibly even metaphysical. I hesitate to use the word ‘soul’ in a formal document, but the phenomenon bears a distinct resemblance to what various cultural and religious traditions might describe as ‘soul-deep resonance.’ The SCP is not merely triggering emotional response; it appears to recognize, reflect, and even echo it back at the subject. Whether this is empathetic mimicry or some deeper ontological function is still under review.”
Incident 644486273-RECOV-Ω Event Type: Spontaneous Manifestation Date: [REDACTED]
Location: Site-██ Sub-Level 4, Storage Corridor 3B
During a scheduled system reboot, Site-██ experienced a issue regarding scp-██ lasting 6.5 minutes. During this window, surveillance footage captured a visual anomaly in Corridor 3B - a tall, humanoid figure composed of black fluid and skeletal features, later confirmed as SCP-644486273. Notably, the entity was verified to be within its containment chamber during the incident, as evidenced by simultaneous real-time biometric tracking.
At the same moment, D-Class personnel D-7132 collapsed in Corridor 3B, clutching his chest and muttering unintelligibly. Upon recovery, the subject reported seeing a "man of bones and sorrow," who "touched [his] head and took something heavy out." Medical scans revealed no physical contact or neurological abnormalities.
D-7132 has since been reassigned to long-term psychiatric care and exhibits mild anterograde amnesia related to the event. This manifestation event remains unexplained. SCP-644486273, when questioned, replied only:
“A part of me wandeths when the sorrow grows too loud. I did but carry it back.”
Ongoing Notes:
Subject has requested additional volumes of classical literature in multiple languages, including The Epic of Gilgamesh, The Divine Comedy, and a physical manuscript of Beowulf.
When asked why, SCP-644486273 replied:
“In tales of woe, I find kin. In stories of flame and fall, I see mine own.”
Interview Log 644486273-HAL-5 Interviewer: Dr. H. Al-Abadi Format: Remote vocal channel, no visual contact.
Dr. Al-Abadi: Your.. well, aura. Is it something you control? Is the emotional impact of your presence deliberate?
SCP-644486273: “Does the winter frost choose to bite, or the wave to drown? What ye call aura - I know it not as force, nor choice. It is exhalation. Residue of what once clung too tightly, shed like ash from coal. Not mine, but yours, echoing in me. I but gather it, as stone gathers moss.”
Dr. Al-Abadi: And what do you gain from this? Why do you do it? Is it… nourishment? Sustenance? You’ve said you don’t eat, that food is unnecessary for you. So what is it that feeds you?
SCP-644486273: “What feeds flame? Not meat nor bread, but breath. I draw upon what your kind spill freely - fear, grief, guilt. They rise from thee like incense to altar.”
Dr. Al-Abadi: And if humanity were, somehow, to be rid of those feelings? If we no longer suffered - what then?
SCP-644486273: (Pause. Slight shift in vocal tone; volume decreases) “Then I would wither, I suppose. As does the candle without wick or wax. But be still, Doctor. Such a world would not mourn my death. For it will not exist.”
Dr. Al-Abadi: That’s a very poetic answer. But this isn’t poetry. You’ve affected people. Changed them. Broken some. Healed others. You must understand how dangerous that is - to us.
SCP-644486273: “Danger doth walk in many forms, clad in crown or cloak alike. I change naught. I mirror. 'Tis thy own grief I reflect, not mine. If thine eye weep at the river’s shape, blame not the stream, but the sky from which it falls.”

Rue did a large hoodie/turtleneck/fur study after drawing the first frame, so youll notice how they SIGNIFICANTLY look better in the other panels? yeah, thats why.
ALSO! that last panel was gonna be a joke, quick, and badly drawing drawing on purpose, but then i wanted to put some CHEEKS into the image, so i had to change the angle, and then i put him in a WAY too difficult perspective to draw, and by that point, i just drew it normally, so- also, i cant draw shoes. dont look at them. no- STOP IT! GET BACK HERE AND STOP LOOKING AT THEM-!
