this was sort of how i pictured piper and leo at the ripe age of like 10 ish. Physical descriptions tend to go right over my head and normally characters remind me of irl ppl i know, so i think of them as similar to that. Or what was shown on the covers.

Deffo a change from what i draw now . I actually havnt drawn percy but im not changing that. I like my childhood version. (Annddd piper and leo how i draw em now- ignore the bad doodles im too lazy to find better art)

I mostly went off the cover so piper has the gold armbands and stuff. In my head i just . Kept em on.she had these very tight braids too, and also she reminded me of a cousin i really liked. So she looks like her.

for SOME REASOn despite leo being described as scrawny i was convinced he was like- just hsort but semi- stocky. I have NO idea why. He was just like that. Also a lot paler. That mostly was going off what was on the cover tbh.

When percy was described as having olive skin i jsut assumed it was like- darker with greenish undertones. I really didn’t know what that meant. I was so shocked to see him so pale in fanart actually. Also i imagined him having much darker hair, and a haircut closer to what nico has in a lot of his artworks. Idk why, but also, it was like. Sort of green?? In my head??? Yeah i have no idea.

^Also my additional thoughts related to "venture wasnt designed for skins": what does it mean for a character to be designed for skins? Were any of the ow1 characters "designed for skins" or were they designed in an attempt to push the characterization and storylines they had planned for these characters? Should blizzard even be making characters that are "designed for skins"?

I understand that blizz wants to make money but in my opinion designing a character specifically for the purpose of the ease of making marketable skins is a rather lazy and ingenuine approach to character design. If that's what blizz wants to do they should just make a dress up doll game or something, idk. If this franchise wants to act like it has a plot and dynamic characters, blizz need to allow its team to design characters with that in mind and not with the primary intent of selling skins.

What i also mean is this "character was designed for the skins" approach didnt seem to be as present in their old business model for ow1, and I & others are frustrated that theyve moved toward this approach more and more for ow2. Yes they have their reasons for this w the f2p business model in ow2 (or whatever, i dont play so i dont fully understand). I personally think these reasons are not sufficient and if blizz wants to have any sort of integrity with their franchise they ought to take a more earnest approach to how they design and release characters/skins.

(Also this is not a criticism of ppl who like juno or kiriko or whoever, im criticizing blizzard and their business choices/current approach to character design; and to some degree, im criticizing people who support blizzard's business choices/current approach to character design.)

(Also i like skins!!!!!!! A lot!!!!!!!!!!! I just think they should be secondary to the actual canon character design.........)

I actually have a rough standee sketch for them, mayb ill finish it sometime. Forgot abt adding them to the bunny set too... was think abt making a maid/butler design for them as well but idk yet. Idk im not great at drawing them & i dont think the hate they get is the majority but i still feel bad a trans character gets this kind of hate & it'd be nice to get some positive energy out there. NEW KAIJU OC?!?!

Well, yea technically. Basically i was interested in figuring out how id go with making my own kaiju. At first i wasnt sure where to go for designing one. So i chose to base it off another existing kaiju for inspiration. I kinda wanted to go for a dragon type kaiju (i like dragons) and the only thing i could think of was Ghidorah so i went with that (now that i think about it more, I could’ve maybe used Manda too prob but oh well, Ghidorah was still a good option). I added some different details to mine that make it unique to the og Ghidorah

My idea was that it could potentially be a relative to Ghidorah (being of the same species) but still far apart from one another to the point they arent all that aware of the other existing (theyre in for a shock when & if they do encounter each other lol). This version actually relies on cosmic energy derived from such sources like stars & generally anything that produce some form of energy within the vast universe (basing it off how Ghidorah themselves originally came from space & this variant being much more dependent on that factor). It stores that energy & relatively stays in a dormant stage for an extended period of time until when faced with the challenge to defend itself or fight off those it deems as a danger. Then it would release all that ginormous amount of space energy that manifests itself as a rapidly expanding glow of extremely bright light. Enough to cause extreme damage & bring down the opposition. It can gather energy by using special crystals it can grow (took that also as inspiration but from Space Godzilla) & become as some form of attracting & absorbing the energy. In a way, the energy is like its main source of food & energy to maintain itself (right after releasing a lot of it during its final attack of using that glow, it would be put in a highly vulnerable state if not recovered by regaining some energy back soon enough). For the most part, they mostly sleep (being lazy 24/7 just like me fr lmao) to keep all that energy but can be potentially dangerous if disturbed or provoked in some manner

(Yea i know im the most creative person out there. I combined another nickname i use for myself and just added the end part of Ghidorah’s name to make it clear it’s related to the other kaiju. I couldn’t think of anything else im sorry😭)

Did i mention this kaiju can also technically sing too :)

I did have a lot of fun with coming up with the concept for them (tho it honestly took longer in designing them due to a busy schedule ive been put in as of late & finding the time to finish it) but im glad to finally be able to share this with you all. Hopefully I can share more about them soon (i have a whole google doc’s worth of lore lmao) & probably draw them again (tho maybe a lot more simplified by then). Didn’t wanna overwhelm ppl with the huge amount of info so I’ll prob slowly reveal more over time.

[Another thing too is that i still am new to the fandom (tho with more knowledge from getting to learn more from the source material) & most of this i gathered from already know stuff i knew. Tho im also open to feedback & maybe some ideas to add onto my own kaiju. So id very much appreciate it if there’s any suggestions from you guys ^^⭐️]

So the first one with the "I won't forget how" is named kimy and to keep this simple um they're half dragon half dragon hunter (idk people get bold) and they were like really unappreciated by the dragon hunters ofc so when the ninjas came to the first realm and made the portal to get out um kimy got through the portal too and they ended up right next to kryptarium prison (they're like 7 at the time) so they went there and the commissioner was like damn I always wanted a kid I'mma just take this one and since he works at kryptarium kimy spent alot of time there and the criminal kinda became the weird uncles/aunts n yea then when they're like 15 they meet another of but that's another story lmao

Now for the second oc um her name is silia and she's from the cloud kingdom n yeah she was a destiny writer n at one point she was like *wait...wtf are we doing this ain't actually destiny* n she tried to defy destiny and the others were pissed off and since that was a crime they banned her (rip out third eye n wings and sent to other realm) n the realm she got sent to was Ninjago ofc and like some random ppl found her and helped her recover (they're not that important) and bro she was pissed at at the cloud kingdom so she spent the next two years training for her revenge and two years later she went back to the cloud kingdom (the same way the ninjas went) um and she cutely murdered half the cloud kingdom with her bare hands as she should you go girlboss n then she got back to Ninjago and ofc she was like covered in blood so the police found her and they were like girl u gonna have to come with us like why tf r u covered in blood AND THEN THERE'S THE SCENE I DRAW

Ok so basically kimy n other oc were just walking through the halls of the police station and they walked past the room where silia was and kimy n her made eye contact n kimy was lovestruck bro

hello!! a couple people have asked me this so heres a summary for the au!

the entire au is based on the idea of creek surviving the end of trolls 1, and finding the putt putt trolls.

he shows up at the “abandoned golf course”, and is welcomed with open arms since all they know about him was that he somehow survived being kidnapped by bergans. him and clay become very close, and creek gives clay the matching cross earings i always draw them with as some type of ‘promise’ jewelry, signifying that theyll always be togther.

as creek lives with the putt putt trolls, rumor starts going around about creek surviving the bergans. as rumors often do, the story gets twisted as its passed between people and the putt putt trolls start saying he survived the bergens because he could talk to the ancestors and they helped him survive and escape.

this makes creek begin to develop a god complex, and as time goes on he becomes obsessed with making the putt putt trolls worship him, and he does everything in his power to make them believe he is truely connected to the ancestors/gods. he takes this so far that he begins to believe his own lies, and he is convinced he can actually talk to the ancestors.

he turns what used to be a community of survivor trolls into cult, deticated to worshiping him because of his connection to the ancestors. he manipulated them into doing that by telling everyone it was the only way to get the ancestors to stop the bergens from finding the golf course.

he manipulates clay into believing hes an angel, by telling him that he survived the great bergen attack because the ancestors knew they were destined to meet later in life. clay has his doubts, but at this point hes so blindly in love with creek he believes him. clay becomes his right hand man, and does pretty much anything he asks him to because he believes he was destined to protect him.

viva obviously has her doubts too, and she has a small group of trolls who are also non believers. but as time goes on, creek manages to convince everyone except for her to worship him. after seeing everything and everyone she loves changed by creek and his cult, she decides to leave the golf course, in an attempt to find poppy and discover the truth about creek.

thats a basic introduction to the au!!!! we have alot planned for it so stay tuned!! (an entire fanfic is on the way…. tho it may take a while…..)
