some of us western fans are prolly supposed to be seen as a walking atm for the agencies. thats literally what it feels like with the amount of general cost it takes to follow an idol group its way too much nowadays that i cba keeping up with concerts and its not like we get a huge amount so americans should think they are lucky to get idol groups but then at least im not forcing myself to spend on something so expensive as a one off concert. but again whats with their heavy focus on the west? since bts and blackpink thats all they aim for but also the way these groups rush to social media to see who can be the next big internet star.

it is genuinely lazy af even my biases aee guilty of doing this and the problem is once they start doing something they never stop doing it so it becomes a bit gimmicky and tacky. like theres nothing terribly misterious about an idol group because there is so many on tiktok and the thing is they dont make themselves look better and reduce their brains to mush because of this reason of overusing an app because everyone else is doing it. i dont even care to check for the latest challenges bc they cant even give us something real anymore. they ruin the "weak and decent ones" so we get left eith the narcissistic attention seeking ones cause its hard to say whos actually good at what they do in terms of performances. like will they ever stop lipsynching? its things like this that mark them down and make them look like a circus and cesspool over there. all they do is fight to overdo it on whos more relevant than so and so. i bet jonghyun is thanking his lucky stars that he is out of that hellhole but it seem to be generating less and less raw talent so whats up with thay is it because tiktok allows them too get lazy? are they all chronically online too much? 5th gen is the worst ive seen so far

I was watching this great video about how Kpop idols aren't artists and I feel like this is really going to affect them when they're trying to break into the west. The issue with kpop is that they pick up kids from the nursery, deprive them of a proper childhood and teen experience, force them into a box and they're not really cut out to be in the west. Even with the groups that succeeded in the west the members before at least had some sort of ambition to be an artist. Not saying that all idols aren't passionate but a lot of idols are just.. idols. Over here in the west people are more expressive and creative. However the kpop industry is like a doll making factory and it's just too plastic for people. The way they make idols look the same instead of being themselves. That's going to be a major barrier and kpop companies need to realize that. It's very hard to have the best of both worlds

i have collections/mini collections of a couple things - plushies, crystals, stickers, bracelets and i keep anything and everything people might give me, i've done it as long as i can remember, like not even gifts just if someone gives me a rock or a piece of stationery or origami etc it'll be in my possession forever i'm too sentimental to get rid of anything, i have so much scattered everywhere it's unfunny 🧍‍♀️ i think my love languages are physical affection bc i love closeness altho im crap with emotional stuff but words of affirmation and mushy fluffy stuff can be pretty neat {even if it's embarrassing and awkward xox} + gifts bc i love buying myself stuff and receiving presents, i also like giving them but i feel like i'm spending too little or too much or compare it to what they give back to me and feel like it's not good enough or what they'd want bc i'm usually either too stingy or spend too much and think too much + feel bad when it feels like i don't give back to people as much as they give to me in any sense?? | (• -•)|
